Me: OMG... I haven't updated this story in ages, anyway due to it being spring break I can now finally update like I planned

Me: Anyways this story is rated R for Yaoi between YxY,SxJ,RxB,MxM, and LxN ( Linda x Noa ) but there's not a whole lot of those too and sorry no Mai and Ishizu we sorta changed our minds on that

Ch.13 TIME

Once Yami and them hung up with the caller Yami turns to the clock on the wall to notice it read 12:20. "I only have 10 minutes before he calls again with the first clue" replies Yami.

"Let's worry about the clues later worry who your five players will be" replies Seto. "Your right, but who?" replies Yami, as he paces. "WAIT! Mai, Ishizu you two are roommates with my cousin correct" asks Yami as he turns to them.

"Yea" reply the two. "Well, would you two be part of this game considering the 4 years you've known her you must know her pretty well" asks Yami. "Sure, anything", "Yea anything" reply both.

"Ok now I need three more" replies Yami. "Count me in" replies Seto. "Seto? But you hardly know her" replies Yami. "True, but I'll help in anyway possible" answers Seto.

"Thank you" answers Yami, with a smile. "I also wish to help" replies Yugi causing Yami to look at him. "Yugi" asks a shocked Yami. "But you don't hardly know her except maybe a few days maybe a week but not fully" replies Yami.

"I know but I want to help her like she helped me with Tristan" replies Yugi with a smile. "Ok, but I still need one more player" comply's Yami. "I'll do it" replies Bakura. So with a nod from Yami everyone waits for the call.

Hours later a minutes ticked by until the clock finally read 12:30 and as on cue the phone rings, causing Yami to hit the speaker phone for all to hear.

"Yea" replies Yami. "Told you I call back now before we begin do you have your five players?" asks the caller. "Yes I do" replies Yami back. "Which is who?" asks the caller.

"Me, Seto, Bakura, Yugi, Mai and Ishizu" replies Yami unaware that the caller wrote them down. "Alright, so if your ready let's begin" replies the caller. "Hold on how do I know you'll keep your word and your not faking it, how do I know my cousin's ok" complies Yami.

At Yami's statement the caller chuckles, "Don't you not trust me?" asks the caller. "Not as far as I can throw you" replies Yami. "Oh very well, I'll allow you to speak with her" replies the caller.

A few minutes later the line was silent until a voice appeared on the other end. "Yami?" replies a female voice. "Linda? oh Linda are you ok?" exclaims Yami.

But before I can reply anymore the phone is taken back. "There you now know she's safe but again for how long?" replies the caller. "Err...if you harm her I swear I'll hurt you" growls Yami. "Tsk, tsk, tsk anyway let's begin. My first question is for Yugi, what is one thing Linda likes to do on her spare time? again you have till 1 o'clock for this question bye for now" and with that the caller hung up.

"Does anyone have a clue what he meant?" asks Malik. "No, how about you Yami?" asks Marik. "I can't say since this question wasn't mine so all I can say is I hope Yugi will know" replies Yami.

So with that said Yugi pondered and wondered around the house until he manage to walk into Seto's study. Upon entering Yugi noticed where he was before remembering the remark Yami had made to me.

FLASH BACK

"Well, I'm glade to see your hitting it off" I reply to them, once I place my book down. "Yeah... anyways why are you reading that book for" questions Yami, never fully understanding why I liked to read books.

"Because I like reading, you should try it sometimes" I reply.

END FLASH BACK

"That's it" replies Yugi, as he runs out of the study and back to the others. Upon arriving back Yugi looks to the clock to see it read 12:55. '5 minutes until he or she calls again' thought Yugi as he went over by Yami. Pretty soon the clock read 1 and as promised the phone rang causing Yami to hit speaker phone.

"Yea" answers Yami. "So does Yugi have the answer to my question" asks the person. As the speaker said that everyone else turns to look at Yugi. "I do" replies Yugi. "Then let's hear it" asks the speaker. "Alright, the one thing Linda likes to do is read" answers Yugi, as they all turn to Yami who smiles and nods his head silently.

As Yugi spoke the line becomes silent until the speaker speaks again. "That is... correct, so far your correct but my next one is directed towards Mai" replies the speaker, while catching Mai and them off guard.

"The next question is What happened to Linda during her third year in college when she returned back to the dorm late that night with bruises and that? remember you have 1 full hour to reply again I'll call back at 2 ta ta for now" and with that the caller hung up.

Once the caller hung up, Yami turns to look at Mai with hope and confussion. "Mai... do you know the answer to this?" asks Joey. As Joey spoke that Mai pondered back to that day.

FLASH BACK

It was about 11 o'clock that night and Mai and Ishizu were inside their dorm wondering were I was. "What's taking Linda so long?" asks Ishizu. "Don't know she didn't exactly tell me" replies Mai, to her.

Just then the door opens to reveal me while covered in bruises. "LINDA" exclaims both as they rush over to me only to have me push them away. "Stay were you are I can manage" I reply as I walk in while shutting the door.

"Linda, no you can't" replies Mai. "I said I can manage" and with that I stumbled into the bathroom and locked the door. A few hours later I emerge from the bathroom before heading over to my bed and flopping down on it. "Care to explain?" asks Ishizu. "No, besides it doesn't matter" and with that the subject was dropped.

END FLASH BACK

"Mai?" calls Yami, snapping her back from her thoughts. "I'm sorry Yami I know what he mean's but... but I can't answer it" whispers Mai sadly. "Can't answer it, why not?" asks Malik. "Because even though me and Ishizu know about that day she never told us about what really happened" replies Mai.

"No..." whispers Yami scared. "I'm sorry Yami... but this is one question that can't be answered" replies Mai. Mean while, back with the caller, the caller was grinning evily before a person walked up to him.

"Boss are you sure they won't get this correct" asks a girl. "Oh I'm sure so move her here so when I give to her I want him to hear her pain until he learns that I will stop at nothing till I get what I want" replies the person. So with that said she goes to do what she was told to do.
