It was Christmas Eve 1997. Max had finished decorating the house with Christmas decorations and got the nice, warm, roaring fire in the sitting room. After he made his delicious hard-earned hot cocoa, he sat down on the couch and read another letter from Roxanne. He was glad she wrote one to him back after he wrote one to her first. He had written her a Christmas letter to tell her about his life since they last wrote to each other and to wish her a happy Christmas. He was glad he sent it to her in very early December so it would get to her as quickly as it could before the mail service got way too busy.

Roxanne's letter read:

'Hi, Max.

Thank you very much for your lovely Christmas letter. I even consider it a very early Christmas present. First of all, congratulations on you doing your bit for Thanksgiving Day. I knew you would do it well like you always did, but I was really surprised that Lisa helped you. I guess you were right about her, that she has changed from a mean girl into a better person. Anyway, tell her I admire her for doing her generous deed for Thanksgiving.

Celebrating Christmas in Salt Lake City is the same as celebrating it in Spoonerville. There's giant Christmas trees and decorations and plenty of Santa Grottos and plenty of snow – enough to ski, sleigh and ice skate. But there is one thing I miss celebrating Christmas in Spoonerville and that's celebrating it with you, especially when we ice-skated on the pond in Spoonerville Park together and go sleighing together and giving gifts to each other. And all those gifts you gave me the last two Christmases, I still have them and I still treasure them.

Anyway, I'm finding the twelve grade very hard, but my friends and I are persisting through it like you are, I'm sure. Kevin is still being a great boyfriend, though he told me that he's smart enough to enter Harvard University and at the age of fifteen. That is quite an accomplishment and I'm very proud of him, but I'll on my own again if I only go to the University of Utah. This is because my daddy still wants me to be around when I'm at university so he can make sure I'm okay, even though all my other friends are going to different colleges and universites. But, anyway, I'll worry about that when the time comes near and I'm going to focus on cleebrating Christmas.

So, have a very merry Christmas, Max, and a happy New Year.

Love, Roxanne.'

Max was glad that she wrote him a letter back to him; it was her way of wishing him Christmas cheer on the other side of the county. He was glad that Kevin was still looking after her, though he had mixed feelings about him leaving her. Speaking of which, he had applied for many colleges and universities for C-students like him. He knew he had no chance of getting into universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard or Stanford, but he had hoped that he was good enough to be accepted somewhere. He was worried that even a college like Spoonerville College won't accept him. Then he thought if he had enough good grades to get into the University of Utah and he had enough money, he could move to there and keep Roxanne company. But first he decided to enjoy the Christmas break before he had to get through the twelve grade along with the many activities coming up in the next year like the school production of Les Miserables, senior prom, spring break and the Spoonerville Triathlon. At least, he was doing all of those activities; he was accompanied by beloved girlfriend Lisa.

Then there was a knock on the door. It could be his dad who had just run out to get the Christmas turkey for tomorrow. When he opened it, he saw it wasn't. It was Lisa and she was panting.

"Hi, Max," she greeted.

"Hi, Lisa, Max greeted. "Come on in."

Lisa came in. "Sorry to come here unannounced. But I have this to give to you before tomorrow." She gave Max a plastic bag before she took off her black gloves, her grey woolly hat, her brown furry coat and her black boots.

Max looked into the bag and got out a yellow Christmas paper wrapped present. On the label, it said: 'To Max. Love, Lisa.' "Thanks, Lisa. I'll put straight under the tree and give you your present."

Max was glad that Lisa came because he just remembered that he stupidly had forgotten to give his present to her. It didn't even occur to him on the last day of school before Christmas. He was going to give her a golden necklace. After he put Lisa's gift to him under the tree, he went upstairs to his room, got out his present to Lisa and ran down to give to her.

"Thank you very much, Max," Lisa said, as she took it. "I look forward very much to opening it tomorrow." Then she started to get her stuff back on.

"I wouldn't go just yet, Lisa," Max said. "Only because the blizzard you stormed through to get here is getting worse. You don't need to get back home this very second, do you?"

Lisa stopped and thought about it. "No, you're right, Max. I don't."

"Stay here where it's nice and warm until the blizzard stops," Max said. "I'll make it worth your while. I can give you some hot cocoa and cookies and something extra for Christmas." Max said those last four words flirty.

And Lisa liked the sound of those four words. "Okay, then, Max. I'll stay and keep you company."

"Great!" Max cried happily. "If you go into the sitting room and warm yourself by the fire, I'll meet you in there in five minutes."

So Lisa did as she was told.

Lisa didn't have to wait for very long until Max came by with a tray of two cups of hot cocoa and a plate of cookies and he was wearing only his red underwear.

"Wow, Max," Lisa cried. "You look very sexy and Christmas-y."

"Thanks, Lisa. Would you like to have a little Christmas party for just the two of us?" Max got his answer when he saw her take off all her clothes except her black bra and panties.

"Yeah, Max," Lisa said. "Bring this special Christmas party of yours on."

Then Max and Lisa sat down together next to the fire and embraced each other and kissed passionately and had their usual passionate sex.

"Do you like your extra Christmas gift, Lisa?" Max asked, ten minutes later.

"I love it, Max," Lisa said. "A whole lot. Now, I have an extra Christmas gift for you."

"And what's that?" Max got his answer when Lisa took off her bra and panties and she was completely naked.

Then Max took off his underwear and he was wearing nothing except a condom, so they continued their sex again and they both enjoyed it even more now.

"Oh, yeah, Max," Lisa cried. "This is more like it. This is the best Christmas ever!"

"Damn right, it is, Lisa!" Max cried.

Then they stopped their good time when they heard the door open.

"Hi-yuck! Hiya, Maxie! I'm home!"

Max jumped up and quickly started to put his clothes back on. "Don't worry, Lisa. I'll go and help my dad. You just get your clothes back on."

Then Max went to help his dad with the turkey and the other stuff. By the time they put everything away, Lisa came in, with her clothes back on.

"Oh, hiya, Lisa," Goofy greeted.

"Hi, Mr. Goof," Lisa greeted.

"Ya all ready for Christmas?"

"I sure am."

Then Goofy made his own cocoa and joined Max and Lisa in the sitting room by the fire and told each other about their plans for Christmas and for 1998 while they waited for the blizzard to stop.

About an hour later, the blizzard finally stopped and it was time for Lisa to put her wet winter clothes back on and head for home.

"Thank you very much for your Christmas gifts, Max," Lisa said.

"And thank for your gifts, too, Lisa," Max said. "And thank you again for coming here. Have a Merry Christmas."

"Thanks. And you have a good Christmas yourself, Max. Bye, Mr. Goof, and have a good Christmas tomorrow."

"Bye, Lisa. And Merry Christmas to you too."

Then Lisa, carrying Max's gift to her, walked out of the house, blew Max a Christmas air kiss and then walked home.

"Shut the door, Maxie," Goofy called. "We don't want the cold air coming in."

Max realized that he hadn't shut the door because he had just been standing there, watching Lisa head for home. So he shut the door and went to look through the window to continue watching his girlfriend head for home for Christmas.
