CHAPTER 7: HOPES TO BE FOUND
Po, Tigress, Xiao, and Aneesa felt deep pain of suffering as they saw Lia crying uncontrollably while Tai Lung was comforting her.
"I'm nothing like Xun!" Lia weeps,
"I'm NO ONE."
"Lia, it's not your fault!" Tai Lung tries to explain,
"What makes your life worse when Xun had used you this whole time? I'm not gonna get mad at it. It's okay."
Lia shook with tears, but took a deep breath.
"You see," her voice says, heartbroken,
"I was born with my parents, and throughout my childhood, it was really tough."
*~(Flashback)~*
A young female leopard cub at an age of 5 was hiding behind the living room door as she saw her father drinking.
"My father had a big drinking problem."
As Lia's father looked at her, he noticed her running away, causing him to be on an angry spree.
"That the more drinks he had, he would get really angry and hit me for no reasons at all."
Lia's father roared at his daughter who was frightened with tears. He scarred her by Lia's edge of the hairdo. Lia's mother was in tearful panic as she tried to stop her husband from hitting their daughter.
"My mom, the one who loved me the most, would try to stop my father, but instead, he killed her."
Lia's mother was begging her husband to stop, but Lia's father let his anger out on her and worst of all, he had killed her by punching her directly in the chest!
Lia was crying as she saw her mother fall limp to the ground, bleeding out. Lia's father turned back to his daughter and continued to hit her, but the masters had entered the house. There came inside Masters Thundering Rhino, Storming Ox, and Croc. They grabbed hold of Lia's abusive father, arresting him.
"Soon after, the legends— known as the council masters— of Gongmen City had arrested my father and they took me to an orphanage."
Lia was left in the orphanage, heartbroken, until then a shadow and a door opened revealing the light. Lia looked up, and there stood a male lion, Xun, himself.
"Then, Xun came and saw me. Realizing how alone I felt right now after I was unsafe with my abusive father and my overprotective mother, Xun decided to adopt me, and he made my life perfect until now."
Xun picked up Lia and hugged her with comfort, soothing his words that he'll adopt her and promise to love her no matter what.
*~(End of Flashback)~*
"So this is how my past all started," Lia says with tears, her voice breaking,
"I don't know where to go now, or back to an orphanage I was taken to after my birthplace."
Then, soon after, Lia started sobbing again. Tai Lung sadly frowned, wiped away the female leopard's tears, and hugged her. Lia then hugged him back as she wept. Po, Tigress, Xiao, and Aneesa sadly lowered their heads in grief.
Seconds later, Po overheard Xun's laughter and all the murmured panicking. He climbed up the walls, much to Tigress's confusion.
"Po?" she asks and follows him.
Po sees the pandas preparing for war, knowing that Xun's after them.
"Xun's here," Tigress says as she looks at where Po was looking,
"Lei-Lei and Bao are in danger right now!"
"And so are my dads," Po says sadly,
"There's no way we can stop Xun now."
Xiao sadly but thought confidently and came up with an idea.
"Mom, dad, we have to follow Xun! We must tell the pandas and my grandfathers about their kung fu learnings. We can also prove that we REALLY are the masters of chi."
"Yes!" Tai Lung added,
"That's it!"
Lia thought sadly, but she stood up.
"Are you sure about that?" the female leopard asks,
"I just don't know what else I can do."
"Lia, you're on our team right this instant," Tai Lung replied with comfort,
"We must stop Xun and save Shifu and our friends before it's too late."
"Yes," Po says, with excitement rising,
"That's an awesome idea!"
He walked over to Aneesa and said with comfort,
"Don't worry, Aneesa. We'll do whatever it takes to save your parents and our friends from the wrath of Xun."
Aneesa wiped her tears with her tail and nodded with a smiling reply,
"Okay."
Then, she flew gently as her wings began vibrating in the air.
Po, Tigress, Tai Lung, and Xiao felt impressed on how Aneesa was doing, but then they all turned to Lia with a smile of comfort.
"Lia, you in?" Tai Lung asks.
Lia hesitated, but realized that there can still be hope found, and then smiled back.
"Yes, I'm in," she replied.
Then, Lia hugged Tai Lung who blushed and smiled, hugging her back. Po, Tigress, Xiao, and Aneesa grinned.
"Alright, let's do it!" Po announced.
Then, he climbed up the rocks on his way to the Panda Village. On the contrary, Tigress, Tai Lung, Lia, Xiao, and Aneesa followed him to the panda village where Xun was coming after.
Meanwhile...
The pandas were had evacuated the villagers from the Valley of Peace to the secret village, believing that the threat came from far away. As they did so, Xun appeared into the outside entrance of the panda village out of nowhere with a wicked laugh. The pandas were left startled as they spotted the lion from far.
Xun plucked out the golden pendants and held them.
"Round them all up," he said as the lion appeared his invisible, magical weapons and hit the pendants like a baseball bat.
The golden rays appeared into the sky, landing onto the inside of the panda village, causing the pendants of the dragons and masters, to form into appeared dragon gods and masters themselves, covered in gold, as golden zombies. They all got their kung fu poses into action.
Li looks at them from inside the house and announced to the pandas,
"Wait for the signal. We know what we're doing."
Xun, with golden glowing eyes, evilly chuckled with a grim glare, frowned soon after and pushed his arms to the air close, yelling out,
"KILL THEM ALL!"
"Come on!" Li announced,
"To your stations! We can do this!"
He and Mr. Ping help out as the pandas got to their squad positions to distract Xun's army. On the contrary, Po, Tigress, Xiao, Tai Lung, Lia, and Aneesa hurriedly scurried to the panda village to help out.
"Dads!" Po called out.
Li and Mr. Ping reacted and exclaimed with happiness and relief,
"Son!"
"We're here to help!" Tigress says.
As Po's dads nodded, they yelped in fear at the sight of Lia, but Tai Lung says,
"Don't worry! Lia's going to help us. She's been betrayed by Xun!"
Li and Mr. Ping realIzed and nodded. Xiao huddled to them, crying out,
"Grandpas!"
Li and Mr. Ping hugged Xiao, relieved that their grandson was okay.
"We must save uncle Po's students who go by Lei-Lei and Bao!" Aneesa added,
"Including my parents."
Li and Mr. Ping thought for a moment, hesitated, and nodded.
"Okay," Li says to everyone,
"Right now, everyone is fighting of Xun's army, because we oversaw that they had ruined the unprotected Valley of Peace— even if it was evacuated. So it'd be better if we could use your help."
"And Po," Mr. Ping told his adopted son,
"You must help Aneesa try to get her parents back, because they are controlled by that nasty lion!"
"Don't worry, dads," Po says with bravery, pulling out his golden staff,
"Well do whatever it takes to protect the village and restore the valley, too!"
Po and his friends and family then got into defense and began to take out Xun's army, much to the pandas' reliefs.
Tigress and Xiao were finding Bao to save him until then they saw him and his friends doing their squad onto Xun's controlled troops— alongside golden Masters Ox, Croc and Eagle. They were all kicking the fireworks on one of them each who manage to dodge it, but it was no use for them, thanks to Bao and his friends.
"Fire!" Bao yelled out.
"Bao!" Xiao called out,
"Down here!"
Bao turned and grinned,
"Oh, hey Xiao! Come, I need your help!"
Xiao grinned and told Tigress,
"Mom, throw me there!"
Tigress nodded as she held Xiao and threw him who now got caught by Bao.
"Stay safe!" Tigress called to her son,
"I'm gonna help Lei-Lei. Remember mommy loves you!"
"I love you, too, mom!" Xiao replied back.
Bao and his friends grinned as they had Xiao help them kicking the fireworks on one of Xun's controlled troops.
Bao gave Xiao one of the fireworks and the panda tiger nodded as he fired it to the golden Master Badger twins.
"Fire in the hole!" Xiao yelled out as the firework went inside the badger's mouth, and it exploded inside, startling the other badger who fell in pain.
Xun cried out in pain due to controlling his army.
"Yes!" Xiao cheered as Bao and his friends cheered.
"That was good, man!" Bao says.
On the other hand, Tai Lung was fighting the golden master dragon as Lei-Lei came from her hiding spot and cried out in relief,
"Spotty Baby!"
Tai Lung turned around and saw Lei-Lei, now in relief.
Lei-Lei says,
"I've come to help you, Spotty Baby!"
Tai Lung grinned and had her help fight the golden master dragon.
Po, Lia, and Aneesa were fighting the other golden covered masters as the pandas were doing the same. Suddenly, a golden covered Crane and Viper came from nowhere and attacked Po and Lia. Aneesa turned and panicked.
"Aneesa! Distract your parents!" Po cried out in pain as he struggled to get out of the grasps of the golden covered Crane and Viper.
Aneesa felt panic, but nodded with bravery. She hissed and yelled out angrily as she shoved her golden covered parents out of Po and Lia, rolling into the shed of the Panda Village. Aneesa got her kung fu pose ready as her controlled parents did the same, as if they were gonna attack her.
"Mom, dad!" Aneesa says to the golden covered Crane and Viper,
"It's me, Aneesa, your daughter! I don't want to fight you again and I need your help. I need my mother and father."
The golden covered Crane and Viper glared evilly until then they looked at Aneesa with concern. Aneesa felt tears as she looked at her possessed parents, about to cry.
By himself outside of the Panda Village entrance, Xun was yelling out to the possessed, golden covered Crane and Viper,
"Don't listen to that feminine freak! Act like she's not your child. Kill her!"
The possessed Crane and Viper didn't move as they saw their daughter's tears form her eyes.
Please, mom and dad, I want you back, Aneesa was tearfully saying in her thoughts.
"What?! Why are you fools standing there?! I said kill her!" Xun's voice can be heard through the possessed masters who looked at their daughter.
The golden covered Crane and Viper had their kung fu poses unposed, stood very still and closed their eyes as the gold started crackling. Aneesa gasped as she saw a bright light coming from them.
The gold was crackling from around the bodies of Crane and Viper until then...
CRACK!
The golden bodies broke free as the golden lightly wave came from the shed, stopping Po, his friends, and family and they all looked to where the light came from.
Aneesa uncovered her eyes and saw her parents unconscious on the ground, back to their normal bodies. She slithered to them and shook them.
"Mom, dad! Wake up!" the winged snake says,
"I got you normal!"
But as Crane and Viper didn't move, Aneesa felt tears, lowered her head and began sobbing, hoping that they would wake up after. Po and Lia came into the shed and saw Crane and Viper laying on the ground beside their crying daughter. They all felt very upset at that sight. Po sadly lowered his head in grief, but Lia placed a paw on him with comfort.
Suddenly, due to an unknown movement, Viper gasped as she regained consciousness. Crane groaned weakly as he regained consciousness as well. Aneesa stopped and looked at her parents who made that sound and fluttered their eyes open.
Viper looked up and asked,
"Aneesa?"
Crane looked up as well.
"Sweetheart, is that you?"
"Yes, mom and dad, that's it!" Aneesa says with tearful joy,
"It's me!"
"Aneesa!" Crane and Viper cried as they hugged their daughter, sobbing their hearts out.
Po grinned at the sight and hugged Crane and Viper who all smiled tearfully and returned it. Lia smiled tearfully on the contrary. Tigress, Xiao, Lei-Lei, Bao, and Tai Lung who ended up coming saw everything and felt glad for Crane and Viper who had turned normal.
By himself, Xun had realized that he wasn't controlling Crane and Viper anymore. Outraged, he screamed at the top of his lungs,
"NOO!!!"
Po and his friends broke the hug with Crane and Viper as they felt relief inside.
"Your daughter had saved you guys," Po tearfully says,
"It's so good to see you back to normal!"
"Of course she did!" Crane says in relief while hugging Viper and Aneesa.
Aneesa was tearfully crying her eyes out with joy as Viper was sobbing heartily,
"Oh, my baby! I'm so glad you're okay!"
"What are we waiting for, let's stop these golden controlled impersonators!" Tigress, with a relieved grin of delight, added.
Po nodded and had Crane, Viper, and Aneesa follow him to stop the golden zombies with a help from Tigress and their other friends.
As the golden dragon zombie came from behind, he lunged at Po, Aneesa and her parents who cried out in fear. All of a sudden, a red ribbon grabbed the golden dragon zombie's arm and it attacked him. Po and his friends turned, and there stood Mei-Mei!
"Mei-Mei!" Po says in relief.
"Get ready to dance," Mei-Mei says to the golden dragon zombie, now holding out her nunchucks,
"With danger!"
Then, she yelled out in combat as the panda attacked the golden zombie, amazing Po and his team. Mei-Mei looked at Po and grinned,
"We're taking care of your lives!"
"Oh, sweet!" Po excitedly adds.
Xun, by himself, was grunting in pain due to his golden controlled masters and dragons feeling the pain on their bodies due to Po, his team, and the pandas. Then, the lion roared out, calling to the controlled Monkey, Mantis, and Shifu to attack Po and his friends.
The controlled golden Monkey, Mantis, and Shifu, in Xun's commands, huddled to Po, Tigress, Crane, Viper, Xiao, Aneesa, and Tai Lung and lunged at them.
But they all stopped the three and held them still. Po hatched a plan and looked at Tai Lung.
"Tai Lung, you're coming with me."
"What, why?" Tai Lung asks.
"We're gonna stop Xun together," Po says.
Tai Lung breathed shakily but nodded. He and Po looked at Tigress, Lia, Xiao, Crane, Viper, and Aneesa who nodded at them while holding the golden Monkey, Mantis, and Shifu down.
"Be careful!" Lia yelled out at Po and Tai Lung who manage to run together and stop Xun without him noticing.
As Po and Tai Lung aimed for a jump on Xun who was struggling by himself, they nodded to each other and held paws.
"Po, jump NOW! Together!" Tai Lung replied.
Po nodded as he and Tai Lung all jumped very high in the air and let out a yell in combat, ready to give Xun a taste of his own medicine.
From below the sky, Xun froze as he heard yells in combat. He looked up at the sky and saw to figures of Po and Tai Lung falling from there to give him a biggest concussion. The lion gulped and said to himself,
"Well, that is REALLY gonna hurt."
A/N: Then... Xun's gonna get a taste of his own medicine. Next chapter will reveal the actual battle between Po alongside Tai Lung— the two masters— and the evil Master Xun!
And yes, exactly, the first part of this chapter reveals Lia's past, but she— now in her future self— is seen in this part to never stop fighting and Lia is now part of Po's team, of course! Also, there is another one— which is kinda heartwarming— that Aneesa was telling her possessed parents— Crane and Viper— that she needs them in her life, and the two are finally able to recover from their possession! I take it as a hooray, but I think it's kinda crazy that I wrote this, but I was bored and kinda lazy, so...
I wanted to say that I'm not trying to be in a rush, though, but I hope you enjoy the story! Next chapter will be uploaded as possible. Btw about that, go get yourself snacks and drinks because the premiere for the battle is about to start! ;) :)
