CHAPTER 9: A BIG WAR IN ALL OF CHINA, PART 2

"LIA!" Tai Lung screamed in a loud voice that he had never heard himself use before.

Po and his friends gasped in extreme shock.

Lia panted as she held onto her chest which Xun had pulled his dagger from in so much horror. The female leopard fell limp to the ground, starting to bleed.

"Lia, no!" Po cried out as he and his friends huddled over to help Tai Lung pick up Lia so that they can give her medical help.

Xun gasped, not believing what he had done.

"No," he says in disbelief,

"That's not possible!"

Xun saw Po and his friends taking Lia inside the village for medical help right away, and yelled out in anger, running over there.

Shifu was telling Li and Mr. Ping to find something that could heal Lia, and the two all agreed, and had the pandas help them.

"Lia? Lia!" Tai Lung cried out,

"C'mon, speak to me, please!"

As he shook Lia, she made no response but take deep breaths, holding onto her chest that was bleeding worse than normal.

Xun jumped up high from nowhere and landed down with a rumbling movement of the ground, startling everyone. Po and his friends braced themselves as Tai Lung held onto Lia with fright. The lion clenched his paws as the golden magic started to brighten and his eyes glowed even brighter with gold as his pupils began to slit.

"I'm NOT finished with you all... yet!" he growled as he unfolded his arms.

The golden magic zapped in appearance and surrounded Xun as it rumbled like a thunderstorm. much to Po and his friends' awareness of its pure overexposure.

"Looks like it's not over yet," Shifu says with bravery in his voice.

"Oh, no," Crane says with a whimper,

"This does not look good."

"I'm scared!" Aneesa whimpered as Viper soothed her to comfort her daughter.

"Shh, it's okay," Viper whispered with overprotectiveness.

"Mom, are you seeing this?" Xiao asks, with panic increasing.

Tigress nodded as she replied,

"Stand back! This is gonna be bad, son."

Lei-Lei and Bao were in panic as they hid beside Xiao and behind Po and Tigress.

Monkey and Mantis were all in gape at Xun's transformation. Tai Lung panted with anger and fear as he held onto Lia who whimpered in pain while holding onto her bleeding chest and even looking at Xun surrounded by the dark chi magic. Master Croc yelped in shock as Master Eagle hissed in defense. Master Storming Ox unfolded his arms— with his hands holding his battle axes— in front of the two as he said,

"This is going to get real over here!"

Then, as the golden glow brightened up even more, Po and his friends— including the great dragons who were there with them the whole time, even though they cannot speak the whole time during the situation— felt frightened startlingly— after hearing Xun's demonic roar that echoed the whole land— and covered their eyes as Xun grew larger and larger.

"Xun's transforming!" Po says out loud,

"Everyone, brace yourselves!"

The lion stopped evolving as the golden light stopped shining. The sight has revealed Xun, and he has transformed into a demonic, evil creature of a Chinese dragon! He was bigger, but almost a few heights tall than the others. Xun had a mane with a same color, but very long, messed whiskers above his mouth, black nose, and the same fur skin color on his scales.

He laughed wickedly as his voice became both normal and deeper as a demon.

"Know my name!" Xun demonically says,

"For I am Legend Xun, the god of darkness in China!"

Po and his friends gasped in extreme shock. Li and Mr. Ping returned with the pandas but stopped at the sight of a gigantic demonic dragon.

"Xun just— evolved?!" Mr. Ping panicked.

The pandas all gasped, so did Li— who ended up saying,

"Well, that is unsettling."

"I have never became so powerful until now," Xun says evilly,

"The thing is that I am starting to become like a legendary dragon master!"

Then, Xun's dragon form began laughing once again.

Po and Tai Lung looked up with so much distress as they held onto Lia's body. Xun's dragon form stared at the pandas and the masters, including the dragons as he demonically says,

"You pathetic fools think that the flabby panda is the warrior destined to stop me? With all the powers taken if it's the last thing I do, you'll never be able to defeat me!"

Po and his friends and family braved themselves as Xun says once again,

"I will gain control of his powers, and then ALL of theirs!"

Then, he roared chaotically with a demonic screech as he smashed the ground with his muscular gigantic paws— long sharp claws almost cutting the ground— causing everyone to scream in fear until it came to a sudden stop.

Xun gently removed his claws from the ground and kept his magic-covered paws to himself.

Po— already in pain with a bad headache and less wounds over his body— stared in shock at Xun, so did Tai Lung who was holding Lia. Po turned turned to Tai Lung and their friends, panting.

Shifu stood beside Tai Lung and the wounded Lia as he sadly panted, feeling worried for Po. Tai Lung held onto Lia who stared at the panda with worry, and back at him as she sobbed in pain, hugging him. The male snow leopard was very upset as he looked at Po, panting.

Tigress— in extreme worry— held onto Xiao who felt very scared for his father-and Lei-Lei who burst into tears. Bao and Mei-Mei were next to them, full of worry. Crane, Viper, Monkey, and Mantis were all reassuring Aneesa at the same time as they looked at Po with worry.

Po turned to the others as he showed the same expression. The panda— with one of their infant or toddler kids crying— Masters Ox, Croc, and Eagle, the dragon gods and goddesses, Li, and Mr. Ping were all very upset at Po until then they faced Xun.

The chaotic dragon sneered with a menacing chuckle and a demonic grin at Po.

"And you, Dragon Warrior," Xun says,

"You really thought you could send me to the an another realm?"

Po thought for a moment as he changed his expression.

He stood up, leaving Tai Lung who was holding Lia. The panda looked up at Xun and said,

"You know something, Xun? Just like I was battling with Kai, there is a place you can be taken. And it's the Spirit Realm."

Xun changed his expression as he asked,

"The Spirit Realm?"

Po nodded,

"Kai told me that it only works on mortals. So, instead of sending you there, I will take you there, like I did to him."

"Po," Tai Lung tried to explain as he tried to keep Lia elevated,

"No!"

"It's okay, Tai Lung," Po says and laid a paw to him,

"I need your help, too. We can stop that monster."

Tai Lung looked at Lia with tears and shook his head, holding back a sob. But the snow leopard took a deep breath and nodded. So he kissed Lia at once— causing everyone to feel gape for a moment but awed with concern— and placed her body on the ground. Li and Mr. Ping came beside her with the medical aid kit so that they can heal Lia. Masters Ox and Croc huddled over there as well, and so did Master Eagle who held Lia steadily so that they can aid Lia's injuries.

Po held Tai Lung's paw with reassurance and looked at Xun.

"Not only will I take you there, but with a friend of mine."

As the panda nodded to Tai Lung, the snow leopard nodded back as he turned around, pointing at the sky.

"Hey, what's that?!" he asked.

Po faced where Tai Lung faced at the same time. Xun also turned to where Tai Lung pointed at, so did the others— Tigress, Lei-Lei, Bao, Lia, Xiao, Crane, Viper, Aneesa, Monkey, Mantis, Shifu, Li, Mr. Ping, and the other pandas— including Masters Ox, Croc, and Eagle, and the dragons. Tai Lung then turned to Po and exclaimed,

"Now!"

Then, the two jumped around Xun's neck as Po— with arms around Xun's neck— revealed his pinky while touching his finger as Tai Lung also wrapped his arms around Xun's neck.

"Po!" Tigress cried as she held onto Lei-Lei and Bao.

"Dad!" Xiao cried out as he had Aneesa beside him.

"Tai Lung!" Shifu cried out in shock.

Crane, Viper, Monkey, and Mantis were all shocked at the same time, so were Masters Ox, Croc, and Eagle who was holding onto Lia for safety. Lia was in extreme shock as she gasped.

"Son!" Li shouted in fear as Mr. Ping was beside and healing the injuries from Lia who regained consciousness, but cannot hold the pain any longer.

Po then flexed his pinky around Xun as he said,

"Skadoosh!"

The golden orb appeared from Po's pinky that was flexed. It began to grow until all of a sudden, it caught their friends' attention, letting them panic.

"Son!" Li and Mr. Ping shouted as they try to go to Po.

"Tai Lung!" Lia cried in pain as she went out of Master Eagle's grasp and huddled to where Li and Mr. Ping were, but fell to the ground. Shifu huddled to the same direction as he shouted,

"No!"

The orb began surrounding Po, Tai Lung, and Xun as it glowed pure and lightly golden. Li, Mr. Ping, Lia, and Shifu stopped abruptly dead in their tracks at that sight.

"NO!" Xun cried out angrily in disbelief.

The orb grew bigger and bigger as it glowed even brighter. Tigress, Lei-Lei, Bao, Lia, Xiao, Crane, Viper, Aneesa, Monkey, Mantis, Shifu, Li, Mr. Ping, and the other pandas— including Masters Ox, Croc, and Eagle, including the dragon gods and goddesses— covered their eyes from the brightness. Inside the orb, Po and Tai Lung are keeping their grip tight and close by Xun's demonic dragon form as they floated slowly above the ground.

BOOM!

The orb exploded, causing the golden waves to burst all around the world until then it evaporated.

Tigress, her friends, the dragon gods and goddesses, and the pandas uncovered their eyes and saw nothing but the petals. They reveal a creation of the Yin and Yang symbol. Tigress, Shifu, Li, and Mr. Ping— who helped Lia who was in pain— came over in extreme shock.

"Where's Po?" Li asks with worry.

"And Tai Lung?" Tigress asks as well.

"They took Xun away," Shifu says sadly,

"They saved us."

"T— Tai Lung," Lia says with heartbreak,

"Where did he and Po take Xun?"

Master Eagle came from the others and told Lia with a wing placed on her,

"They took him to the Spirit Realm."

Lia placed a hand on her chest, but groaned in pain as she held onto her chest. Master Eagle reacted and huddled over to her.

"Are you okay?!" he asked with concern, trying not to be in panic.

"I— I can't hold the pain," the female leopard winced in pain with tears,

"I want Tai Lung now! Tell him I love him."

"No, Lia, don't say that," Master Eagle says with worry,

"Youre gonna be okay. We'll aid your injuries once Po and Tai Lung take down Xun and come back."

Lia winces in pain once again as she manages to hold onto her chest. Master Eagle carried Lia's body and told Masters Ox and Croc,

"You two, stay here with Tigress and the other heroes. I'll get the other pandas to aid Lia during the time Po and Tai Lung are going to battle Xun in the Spirit Realm."

Masters Ox and Croc nodded at Master Eagle's commands. Then, Master Eagle and the other pandas take her inside one of the village buildings to place her on the cot to give her a smooth recovery and they did so.

"Dad and Tai Lung saved us," Xiao says, with less tears forming from his eyes.

Aneesa comforted him as she asks once again,

"Well, then since Po and Tai Lung saved us, who was saving them?"

Meanwhile...

In the ancient landscape of the Spirit Realm, a golden orb magically appears and it explodes into revelation.

As the golden magic evaporates, Po regains consciousness and looks at himself. He was wearing a robe with black sleeves, golden linings on them, a white shirt, with red belt tied, and a straw hat on his head. The panda then looked at the landscape.

"Whoa," he says in awe,

"The Spirit Realm!"

As the panda's ears twitched after hearing a soft groan, Po turned and saw the snow leopard unconscious on the ground of an another island.

"Tai Lung!" he shouts out as the panda managed to rush over, but does realize himself floating.

After each obstacles gone through, Po went over to Tai Lung.

"Tai Lung, buddy!" he cried out as he shook the snow leopard,

"Come on, get up!"

Tai Lung groaned suddenly as he regained consciousness. Po sighed in relief and helped him up. Tai Lung looked at him.

"Po, what are you wearing—" he asked but stopped suddenly, looking at himself.

"What, what on earth am I wearing?" the snow leopard asks.

Tai Lung was now wearing a bright yellow robe with dark golden sleeves and red linings on it. He also had a black tied belt on.

"You look cool!" Po says with a grin,

"Nice outfit."

"Tell me about it," Tai Lung replied, but froze as he saw the landscape.

"Wait, where are we? Are we dead or something?"

"Wha— no!" Po replied,

"We are in the Spirit Realm! That's the land where we took Xun."

But as the sentence stopped, the panda asks,

"Where's Xun?"

"I don't know!" Tai Lung answered in almost panic,

"We took Xun here and—"

As the male snow leopard tried to finish his sentence, there was a loud, horrifying roar of a screech.

Po and Tai Lung turned around and saw the dragon gods and goddesses flying from above, and— all of a sudden— an even more chaotic, demonic, and ginormous figure of a dragon flew up with dark ashes of gold around him.

His eyes had pupils slit, and fully glowing solid and golden. He had long horns, a gigantic flowing mane, very long whiskers of mustaches above his mouth, and had pure golden scales with fur color coated on it. It was Xun!

The ginormous dragon roared demonically, much to Po and Tai Lung's shock. The panda uttered,

"X— Xun?!"

The snow leopard shook with fear as he said,

"Holy moly… That is ONE heck of a demonic devil in all of China."

The dragon god turned to Po and Tai Lung and shouted out,

"We need your help! Xun's even more powerful than ever!"

Po and Tai Lung widened their eyes, as if they didn't know that dragons could talk, like Xun does in the regular realm.

"What," Tai Lung exclaims,

"You can talk! I thought— but Xun just— I didn't know after that you all dragons don't—"

"We don't have time for a discussion!" cried out the dragon goddess,

"We must stop this monster with as much power as needed. He's gonna take us down us to heck!"

Po nodded and began drawing his chi. Tai Lung stared at what he's doing.

The panda looked at the snow leopard and told him after a chi drawing of a dragon.

"This is to draw your spirit creature with your chi," Po says as he starts flying— but his dragon form was copying him as well,

"You can do this, Tai Lung!"

Tai Lung watched Po fly, and looked at his paws.

Every master can master chi, he thought,

So this means I AM a master of chi...

The snow leopard takes a deep breath to focus, closes his eyes, places his paws together, and begins to draw chi. His drawing becomes blue as it resembles a dragon, but a different-looking one. Tai Lung opened his eyes in surprise that his chi had changed color from gold to blue. But nonetheless, he sneered as his paws are now lit with blue fiery power in addition.

"How glorious..." the snow leopard says in a wicked tone.

Then, he flew as well as the blue chi-drawn dragon copied him. Po, in his golden chi-drawn, different-looking dragon form, was flying to help the dragon gods and goddesses to stop Xun from his demonic form, but heard a voice call out,

"Po! Over there!"

The panda turned to see Tai Lung and his blue chi-drawn dragon form catching up.

"Whoa," the panda cheers,

"That is SO amazing!"

"It's actually working, Po!" Tai Lung replied,

"Now let's get this over with!"

Po nodded as he and Tai Lung flew with their forms copying them. The other dragon gods and goddesses saw the two men's dragon forms and felt pleased, but had no time but to distract Xun's demonic form.

Xun angrily growled, unfolded his arms, and let out a piercing hiss of a roar. His golden powers of darkness pushed away the dragon gods and goddesses with strong force. Po and Tai Lung floated in a stop as they saw the dragon gods and goddesses that had been flung away, but now floating. They all hid as they called out to Po and Tai Lung,

"Get rid of him! We got everything we need to trap him!"

As the dragon gods and goddesses revealed to the two the chains, Po and Tai Lung nodded as they turned to Xun. The lion's dragon form growled and snarled his words out,

"You think it's over, you two?!"

Xun's deep, demonic voice startled Po and Tai Lung. The lion slashed Po and Tai Lung with his sharp claws, but the two men's dragon forms copied them and can be slightly outlined and invisible. The panda was flung to the island onto the ground; the snow leopard was flung to the other island that is related and he was crashed onto the tree, now having a headache as his forehead began bleeding slightly.

Two of the masters floated back into the air as their dragon forms copied them, staring directly at the lion's demonic dragon form.

"I will have you feel my possession soon enough!" Xun roared chaotically,

"I'll have MORE power, perfection, order, and ALL the monarchy in ALL OF CHINA!"

Po bit his lip as he thought of what he would do next after hearing the lion's words. Tai Lung reassured the panda and turned to Xun, snarling. Po took a deep breath and told Xun,

"You know what? I guess you win."

"Po!" Tai Lung cried quietly,

"Get away from him!"

"Wait, what?" Xun's demonic dragon form chaotically asks in confusion.

"I will give you my chi, because that was an awesome plan!" the panda chuckles.

Xun glared evilly, but chuckled with a sneer,

"Oh, really? Well, thank you! You know, I don't know how appreciative I am starting to get with all the max amount of chi power needed."

Then, the lion laughed once again. Tai Lung started to worry as the dragon gods and goddesses manage to help out. The snow leopard held out his paw to the dragons, as if to gesture for them to wait for the signal.

"Nah, I mean your plan is perfect," replied Po with a grin until his expression changed with anger. Gripping onto the staff, the panda yelled out to Xun,

"But you didn't plan for THIS!"

Then, as he drew the power of chi, Po knocked it with his staff and it hit Xun on the face, giving him a slash on it.

"OW!" The demonic dragon roared in pain.

"NOW!" Tai Lung shouted to the dragon gods and goddesses as they all floated out of their hiding places of the floating islands.

Tai Lung flew inside his blue dragon form that copied him so that he could make a powerful attack strength with his chi. As Xun managed to reach his scaly arms to hit Tai Lung, he missed suddenly. Then, the snow leopard flew towards the demonic creature as he used his chi, hitting him on the arm with powerful force. As a result, it gave Xun's arm a long cut!

Xun roared out in pain with a demonic screech, echoing the whole Spirit Realm. The dragon gods and goddesses unleashed their powers and chained him up after going around him.

"Okay, now what?!" Tai Lung asks to Po.

"We must change Xun's form!" Po replies,

"So that we will get the chance to defeat him."

The two men then flowed their powers of chi and shot them directly into the ginormous demonic dragon's heart. The giant demonic creature was screeching in pain as it began to slowly turn into its outlined body, revealing the original body— a lion— of Xun who tried to use his powers to bring its colors back.

"No!" the lion roared out while straining,

"NO!"

The dragons kept hold of Xun as the chains were perfectly holding the lion's demonic dragon form.

Po and Tai Lung were floating, with their dragon forms copying them. Then, they nodded together, flew over to the lion, and kicked Xun with powerful force. Xun screamed out in pain as his demonic dragon form roared out itself, slowly disappearing. The darkness had disappeared alongside it.

The lion crashed onto the ground that broke into pieces. The dragon gods and goddesses cheered as they danced around.

"We did it!" one of the male dragon gods shouted in excitement.

"Xun's demonic form is finally gone!" one of the female dragon goddesses cheered in a singsongy tone.

Po and Tai Lung gave each other high-fives with their paws as their dragon forms copied them.

Xun, now getting up with painful bruises all over his body, stared up and growled viciously. His mouth was bleeding due to the injuries around him.

"It took me SO many years to gain chi all to myself, just like Kai!" the lion snarled,

"More but unlike him, I will have the chi from you worthless maggots if it takes me MORE!"

Tai Lung roared slowly at Xun, as if he was ready than he ever was. Po taunted at the lion by saying,

"Chitty-chitty chat, chat! Chit-chat."

His words are said like the time Po and Kai met until they got into war. Po looked at Tai Lung and asked,

"You ready to save China?"

Tai Lung grinned heartily as he replied,

"More than ever, Po. Let's defeat that monster."

Hearing these words, Xun yelled out in anger and flew straight for Po and Tai Lung who faced Xun, closed their eyes, and placed their paws. As the lion roared, he aimed his golden paws to catch the two men. Po and Tai Lung flowed their powers of chi as their dragon forms slowly flew out of them.

"You want our chi so bad, Master Xun?" Po says, opening his eyes.

"Then take it!"

Tai Lung, opening his eyes, added to Xun,

"They're all yours for you to keep."

Then, the two got their chi ready to push directly as they gestured the dragon gods and goddesses to distract the lion. The dragons nodded and distracted the lion by making him dizzy and hurling around him in the air. Xun cried out in pain as he felt the hurling attack strength from the dragons that now flew to their hiding places. The lion froze and caught himself in the air.

Po and Tai Lung reacted in disbelief, but they then pushed their chi away to where the lion was at.

"NICE try, FOOLS!" Xun snarled as he then dashed towards the panda and the snow leopard, but their chi was flown directly inside his heart.

At a sudden stop, the lion reacted and grinned evilly. The dragon gods and goddesses reacted in concern, but Po and Tai Lung nodded at them, as if to tell them that this will be their chance to win over Xun.

"Oh, yes, the power of chi is MINE!" the lion says with evil happiness.

But all of a sudden, from what he didn't know, the power of chi handed by Po and Tai Lung are too much great for him to handle.

As the power grew stronger and stronger, Xun changed his expression as he cried out,

"Wait a minute, no! That's too much chi! IT'S TOO MUCH CHI!"

Po and Tai Lung say nothing but remain looking at Xun who was struggling to handle so much power. The dragon gods and goddesses flew over behind the two masters, looking at the lion.

"PLEASE!" the lion screamed his words out,

"NOOOOOOO!"

Then, as a result— with Xun glowing very brightly and brightly with solid gold— the lion exploded and the golden waves flowed through Po, Tai Lung, the dragon gods, and goddesses who had their eyes closed during the whole time.

Nothing remained but Xun's final scream of terror until the whole realm started to glow even brighter. Then, soon after, according to Po, Tai Lung, the dragon gods and goddesses' visions, everything went black.

A/N: WHOO! Finally got this chapter finished! Even longer than I expected for it to be…

Next chapter will reveal what will happen after the battle. And the victory is here, Master Xun is now defeated once and for all! Let's see if Po and Tai Lung will return from the Spirit Realm or something else... I hope you find out in the upcoming chapter. :)
