Meanwhile with eri
Eri made it home with a large sigh after another horrible day in school. With mínoka still being suspended and her other two friends getting sick she was left to fend for herself against the multiple attacks of borderline harassment. Most of the day she had to deal with the whispers, the laughs, the words. calling her Eri someone who is a villain survivor that she's harvering a villain. Eri was so tired of it all and she was just glad to be home*
Eri:some home this is..
Eri sneered and instantly felt horrible for saying that*
Eri:no...no, it's not mom's fault she has to work so much i shouldn't think like that... But it's just...i don't know it feels different, dad's home is more warm, more inviting, less...lonely...and here i am talking to myself...
Eri mumbled to herself as she walked to the kitchen she opened the fridge to find anything to eat not feeling like cooking that's when she noticed something at the back of the fridge, she moved some things aside and grabbed the cold can she took it out to get a better view of it*
Eri:it's a case of aunty kyoka's beers i thought she took them all to her apartment
Eri mumbled then shrugged just as she was about to throw them all in to the trash a memory popped in to her mind*
Flashback few years back
We see Eri being watched over by her aunty kyoka, they were in kyoka's apartment as kyoka drank another beer*
Eri:aunty why do you drink so much?
Kyoka:because I'm thirsty?
Eri:mommy said that drink can hurt the liver
Kyoka:honey how do I explain this... This...drink helps me relax it's a drink that you have when you are stressed out of your mind
Eri:so this stuff takes away stress?
Kyoka:for a few hours if I didn't have this, you and momo i would've killed you're uncle Denki a long time ago
Kyoka giggled eri making her laugh putting the fact about beer at the back of her head almost forgetting about completely over the years
Present
Eri:it helps people relax...
Eri mumbled to herself as she looked at the can, the sun coming from the window illuminating it making tsuyu gulp. She knows she was alone in the house for hours, she knows momo would be too tired from work to check on her, she knows this drink will fix her problems aunty kyoka said so. With a deep breath she took one and cracked it open, her heart started to beat faster and faster as she puts the can on her lip. She trembled a bit at the coldness of the aluminum can on her lips as she takes a drink and...spits it all out in disgust, she coughs heavily letting the can fall from her mouth"
Eri:oh God that's disgusting!! Why the hell does aunty drink this stuff? It's fucking burns!!
Eri fell on the floor in a coughing fit. When she heard the door opening*
Momo:Eri I'm home early ...Eri?!
Hearing her daughter coughing she went running to see her in the kitchen with a beer can next to her on the ground*
Momo:what the fuck?! Wait.no you're safety first, punishment later!
Momo poured eri a glass of milk to take the taste of alcohol out of her mouth, Eri takes it and drinks it as momo rubs her back*
Momo:better?
Eri:a...a little...
Momo;ok good...now what in the hell were you thinking?! Beer?! You drank beer?! Eri you're 14!!
Eri:i...i...i didn't drink it! I took one swing and i spat it all out i swear!!
Momo:what were you even thinking doing something so stupid?!
Eri flinched as her eyes started to get watery as she looked on the ground as negative emotions starts to take over of her mental state*
Eri:i...i...I'm sorry...
Momo:eri do you have any idea the damaged you could've caused you're brain? , It's not fully developed yet my god in heaven i can't believe you would do something like this I'm so disappointed in you
Flashes of anger flew inside her as she glared at her mother*
Eri:i...i said i was sorry!!
Eri screams with tears falling from her face but momo remains stern. Yes she loves her daughter and yes she knows this was a mistake but she's a parent not a friend*
Momo:Eri i understand that you're sorry but you still did it. You are grounded for a week no phone. No friends. No electronic go to your room until dinner
Eri doesn't say anything as she got up hugging herself and leaves sobbing quietly, once the door of eri's room was closed momo let her mask fall as she holds her mouth and quietly cries, as this was the first time she ever punished Eri, ever had to be stern with her and act the part of being a parent she hates, punishment, memories of her "punishments" starts flooding her mind but she shakes her head*
Momo;no...no, now is not the time for that. Leave those memories for you're therapist on sunday
Momo mumbled to herself as she started to cook, making eri's favorite meal*
Meanwhile with eri
We see her trashing her room, she wasn't angry no far from it. She was desperate*
Eri:where is it...where the fuck is it?!
She throws book after book trying to find the fake book when a horrible memory flashes in her mind. She left it under the bed at her father's place*
Eri:no...nononono i... I need it why.. why... Why?!
Eri screamed feeling restless, scratching her arms as if bugs were crawling inside her skin and she needed the box cutter to release them. as she threw a book on the tv breaking it. Eri seeing this as her salvation she almost fell as she ran to the spot grabbing on of the shards she quickly went to work putting the shard on her arm she took a breath and started cutting*
Eri: stupid! Stupid!! You are so fucking stupid!! You've caused you're mother more stress what the fuck is wrong you with you?! No wonder you're a disappointment you can't do anything right!!
Slash after slash Eri kept screaming to herself self loathing words she didn't stop until her hands couldn't hold the shard anymore, her arms blood red with blood as she cut herself deeper and deeper to the point she could even see her muscles moving. Until the pain was all she could feel. As she was about to rewind everything and fix her body she froze*
Eri:no...this is my punishment i deserve this pain for what i did to mother...
Eri rewinded enough to not die of blood loss sadly not because she valued her own life but because in her mind death is too good for someone as awful as her. She looked down as her wounded trembling arms as a smile appeared on her face*
Eri:i did good, I'm a good person, a good daughter, they would be proud of me in doing what i deserve...
Eri said as her sick mind warped this as a good thing. A good action on her part she stayed like for hours not moving a muscle breathing shallow breaths as she just stares at her handy work with some sick satisfaction until she heard the soft knocking of the door quickly she rewind everything in her room and body making it all seem as if nothing was wrong, the door slowly opened and in walked momo with a small soft smile*
Momo:eri...honey foods ready i...i made you're favorite
Eri: thank you mother I'll be down in a moment
Momo got closer to her daughter and kissed her forehead before leaving. Eri took a few breath before she walked out, on her way down. She made her way to the bathroom to wash her hands, her eyes started to play trick on her as she looked down and her cuts returned for a moment*
she looked herself in the mirror she rubbed her own cheek as a small smile grew on her face*
Eri:i haven't finished punishing you...
Eri said to herself in the mirror as her metal state took one step in the wrong direction, getting closer to the time she was under overhaul's thumb*
