Dan woke up completely draped over Yuya. He looked up at the sleeping blonde, tempted to give him a kiss to wake him up from his eternal slumber. But it would be kind of weird to wake up to your friend kissing you claiming they were just copying a Disney movie.
He clicked on his phone and saw that it was five. They were meeting everyone else at twelve that afternoon, so he really didn't have to get up that early. Instead, he laid his head back down on Yuya's chest and fell asleep again.
Well, he would have fallen asleep if his door hadn't opened. "Hey, can you make-" his little sister stopped talking upon seeing the two boys in bed. She just stepped out of the room again.
Dan sighed and snuggled more into Yuya. Dan then realized he was cuddling with Yuya and turned to face the wall. His face burned with embarrassment, he had to have fallen asleep like that to wake up in the position. And Yuya had to deal with Dan's tiredness. Dan had stayed over at Yuya's house before, did he do it that time too? He groaned into his hands and started to fall asleep again.
Yuya had woken up to the pleasant sight of not being on the floor. He sat up in the bed and saw that Dan was curled up into a ball against the wall. How Dan had gotten there was a mystery to Yuya but he didn't question it too much. He looked at his phone and saw that it was nine.
He got out of bed and got his clothes, he would have to take a shower that morning too. He really didn't want to wake Dan up, but he also didn't want to struggle with the foreign shower. In order to not take an hour in the shower, he woke Dan up.
Dan woke up easily with only his name being called and he sat straight up. He looked at Yuya with eyes that made it look like he had been up for hours.
"Hey, could you show me how to use your shower?" Yuya asked. Dan squinted at Yuya and then nodded his head. But he didn't move from his spot on the bed.
"Dan?" Yuya asked. Dan finally got what Yuya was asking for and he got up out of bed with a yawn. He went through his drawers and pulled out his own clothes for the day, along with a two in one shampoo. Yuya looked at him confused as to why he needed to take his own shampoo to the bathroom. Dan just walked passed him out the door. Yuya followed as Dan led him to the bathroom without saying a word.
When Dan got there, he seemed to have fully woken up. He showed Yuya how to use the shower and gave him the shampoo.
"I have to keep my shampoo in my room if I don't want them to waste it." Dan said. Yuya nodded his head and Dan walked out of the bathroom closing the door behind him. Yuya stared at the door for a few more seconds before beginning to actually shower and get ready.
When they were all done it was already eleven, they got all the stuff that they would need: skates, bag, money, ect. Then they headed out to where they were going to meet up with everyone else. Alice was already there with Shun and Julie trailing behind him.
"Do you recon there's going to be any women here, Alice?" Julie asked.
"None that would be interested in children, like you." Alice replied. Julie sped to walk backwards in front of Alice.
"NOW LISTEN HERE BIG MAN, I AM NOT A CHILD, LOOK!" Julie yelled as he pulled up his sleeve and flexed his muscle.
"Would a child have muscles like this?" Julie asked.
Alice laughed, "Julie, there is no 'muscle' there." Julie looked to his arm and sighed. He looked to Shun.
"Well, we all technically have muscle even if it isn't showing." Shun said in what Yuya thought was an attempt to make Julie feel better.
"Shun. You're not helping." Julie said, defeated. Julie was still backing up and Yuya grabbed his shoulders so that he wouldn't back up into him. This caused Julie to shriek and turn around to face Yuya.
"Big D, warning next time. You almost got stabbed." Julie said. Yuya really didn't want to be called 'Big D' by a child but he's tried to get him to stop multiple times to no avail. Julie then looked over to Dan.
"Oh ho ho, I don't want to interrupt your date, gentlemen. Please continue." Julie teased. Shun went over to Alice, whispering something in his ear. He only got a shrug in response but shook his head in some sort of understanding. Yuya and Dan just shook Julie's comment off.
Julie, Shun and Alice started talking to each other again so Yuya and Dan decided to converse on their own. In the middle of their conversation he noticed that Dan had been looking past him in shock before looking back at Yuya pretending nothing had happened.
Yuya was confused so he turned around to try and see what Dan was looking at only to be greeted by the face of Zuzu. He flinched because of how close he was, causing Zuzu to laugh.
"Zuzu? What are you doing here?" Dan asked. Zuzu put his arm on Dan's shoulder, leaning on him.
"Well, a little birdie told me about your idea to skate around town and I wanted to see what was going on." Zuzu said. Dan looked at Yuya with a confused face but Yuya only looked at him with the same expression.
"Sorry guys, I'm very easy to peer pressure." Aura Sentia said from behind Yuya and Dan, shocking them both.
"How long have you been there?" Yuya asked.
"I just got here." Aura Sentia said, trying not to laugh at the two boys' reactions.
"Since you're here, you want to come with us, Zuzu?" Dan asked.
Zuzu lit up, "hell yeah!" It really wasn't a problem to have one more person, right?
"There are a lot of people here." Yuya said as everyone had arrived.
Sora Perse had come with her friends. One with Tate hair and a pirate-esque outfit and sunglasses, Tate was her name. Then a girl with died purple-ish, pink hair and a thick eyeliner, Frederick. With all of the people there, it made a total of ten people.
They decided that they couldn't easily move around town with all ten of them in a group together and they split up into two. Julie and Alice were the leaders of each group since they knew each corner and crevice of the town like the back of their hand.
In Julie's group he had Shun, Aura Sentia, Yuya, Dan, and Zuzu.
In Alice's group, he had Frederick, Tate, and Sora.
Once the groups had been decided, they went to go eat lunch. Yuya ended up paying for his entire group because Dan and Zuzu begging him and the kids lacking money. Yuya sighed, now not only did he have to deal with Zuzu's pleads, but he had to deal with Dan's as well. He would go broke at some point.
Alice took his group over to an abandoned school for their first skating destination.
"I swear to God Alice, if we get arrested I'm going to kill you." Frederick said as she hopped over the gate.
"That actually might be kind of fun." Tate replied.
"How the fuck is getting arrested fun?" Frederick asked.
"Well think about it, we'd all be in prison together. Doesn't that seem like fun?" Tate asked.
"I think you might have a twisted version of what fun is." Alice said, chuckling slightly.
"I don't think we'd get arrested for this. But we would probably have to pay a lot of money." Sora Perse said.
"Alice, you better be paying the fuckin' fine." Frederick said. Alice just laughed and they all went looking for somewhere that they could skate at.
Julie had taken his group to a part of the town without the paved sidewalks. This made the two that were roller skating struggle a bit more on the road than the people that could easily just carry their wheels.
"Are we there yet?" Shun asked.
"I actually don't know how far away this place is." Julie admitted, shrugging it off like it wasn't a big deal. With that, Dan and Yuya stopped to put their regular shoes on, not wanting to struggle for an undetermined amount of time.
But it turned out they were only minutes away from their destination and they really didn't have to take their skates off in the first place.
"I'm not sure that being with Julie is such a good idea anymore." Yuya said to Dan.
Dan nodded, "I think he's purposely trying to make us suffer."
They ended up at a place with the smooth sidewalk that they had missed. A skatepark that people most likely forgot about because of how far it was away from everything. And maybe because you would have to go down a sketchy path to get to it. It was a simple park, ramps and ledges, stairs. The basics.
Zuzu had challenged the kids to a game of skate, so Yuya had the bright idea to challenge Dan as well. Dan laughed at the challenge.
"You want to challenge me to a game of skate?" Dan asked. Yuya nodded.
"Yuya, no. That would be completely unfair." Dan responded.
"But Dan, I want to play skate with you." Yuya whined.
"No. We can't do that." Dan said.
"Well, we could dance together instead." Yuya said. Dan frowned at that.
Yuya leaned into his ear, "or I could make it a command. If you would prefer."
Dan sighed, "okay, we'll play skate." Yuya smiled, knowing he had won and dragged Dan over to the ramp.
After only a couple of rounds, Dan had won without a single letter. Yuya lied on the ground in front of the ramp.
"I told you. You shouldn't have challenged me." Dan said, squatting beside Yuya. Yuya just groaned and Zuzu laughed at him.
The game of skate begun with Yuya going first.
Yuya had failed his trick on the second turn and it had been Dan's turn. Dan went up the ramp, jumped and went back down the ramp backwards. Yuya attempted to do the same but landed wrong and ended up sliding down the ramp, chest to the floor.
This peaked Zuzu's interest as he started watching them. This made his game of skate stop as the rest of them watched as well.
Dan had gone back up the ramp, this time jumping onto his stoppers before going backwards down again. Yuya had tried and landed on one of his stoppers, the other foot had landed on his toes and he tripped, hitting his head on the ramp on his way down.
"He really sucks at this, doesn't he?" Julie whispered.
"I kinda feel bad for him." Aura Sentia replied. Zuzu just laughed at Yuya.
Dan helped him back up and decided to tone it down for a second and do a simple soul grind. Yuya was surprisingly able to do it as well. Dan decided that this meant he didn't have a serious injury and went back to the ramp.
He went up, jumped on the top and then jumped back to roll back down. Yuya looked at Dan's smile on his way back down and thought about how safe it would be. He attempted it anyways and ended up on the floor on his stomach.
Dan thought that he should've stopped then with the ramp but Zuzu seemed to be amused by it so he continued. That's how Yuya ended up on the ground.
"Boys, as much as I'd like to stay, it's going to be getting dark soon and me and Shun have plans with Aura Sentia." Julie said.
They all agreed that it was a good idea to call it a day after Zuzu's game of skate. Aura Sentia actually won that one and Julie had a great time making fun of him for it on the way back.
"I'm not sure that that rail is meant to be skated on." Tate stated. Frederick was at the top of the stairs, ready to grind on the handrail. It would have been fine to skate if not for the straightened end of it.
"I won't let some straight fucking thing stop me." Frederick said as she got ready to ride it. Tate looked over to Sora and Sora just smiled, seeming to say that it would be fine.
"Frederick, I really don't think you should do that." Alice advised.
"You aren't the one paying the hospital bill so don't fookin' worry about it." Frederick said, getting annoyed by their protest. She sighed and started towards the rail. She jumped and landed on it.
It was smooth enough to make her forget about the sudden change from angled to flat. Her left skate went straight, and she lost her balance and fell backwards onto the pavement.
"Fucking cunt. That hurt." Frederick groaned. The other three ran over to her.
"Frederick, what were you thinking was going to happen?" Alice asked.
"Oh shut up, Alice." Right then Alice's phone started ringing. He picked it up and was informed about the others leaving. He decide that they should probably leave too, since Frederick was already back on her feet.
"I'm sorry that I didn't get to skate with you guys, we'll have to plan for some other time." Dan said.
"Oh, it's fine. I'm down to skate with you later." Tate said, hand held out to Dan. Dan took it and shook her hand.
"Yeah, that sounds like fun!" Sora Perse replied.
"Are you good?" Frederick asked looking at the boy up and down.
"Uh, I guess." Dan said, slightly intimidated by the taller woman.
"You can bring your boyfriend there too." She said looking at Yuya. Yuya started laughing.
"He's not my boyfriend." Dan said.
They said their goodbyes and they were off their separate ways.
"Hey, what do you say we hang out at Yuya's house?" Zuzu asked. Yuya rolled his eyes.
"Yuya?" Dan said, asking for permission.
"If you're planning on staying over, we have to get Dan some clothes." Yuya said.
"Why not let him use some of mine. I have extra at your house anyways." Zuzu suggested. Yuya looked at the two boys, they were relatively the same size.
"Sure, if you don't mind, Dan." Yuya said. Dan shook his head.
Zuzu yelled, "WOOO SLEEPOVER AT YUYA'S HOUSE!"
