"I have to keep going...Maine is not that far...have to keep going."

Dboys mantras kept repeating in his head as the group continued to travel. Even as the camp was set up and dboy isolated himself away from the fire as he sat down, knees tucked under his chin and arms wrapped around himself. He had been toyed with too long with the hope he would be done for time and time again. The voice of Misery was going insane, and wished with repeated manifestations, that whatever was in Maine, would be his end.

"Just have to play the game a little longer..."

The 4 other members sat around conversing with Shmee. It was a known fact at this point there were more questions than answers.

Eff held the sides of his head in his hands, stressed at the open-ended "answers", "Reverend. This shit still isn't clear to me, while dboy and I were unconscious how did nny boy acquire you, meat man? Devi? What girl have you been talking about?"

"No wasn't Devi, To be honest, the memory sometimes gets dim. I don't like how this was all extended by my existence alone. Shmee has stated already his theories aren't certain. When Nny became conscious again after a time of being alone I was born." Reverend responded agitated as he threw pinecones into the fire.

Shmee laid his head down as the campfire illuminated the pages of the book he took from Cassie's desk. Smiling, he said out loud, "Funny you haven't figured it out. An even exchange of energy woke him up. The easiest way of doing that was to have sex with somebody for his baseline mentality to come back thus birthing Reverend. Pretty amazing love child you are, Haw!"

Sickness rolled her eyes at Shmee, "I guess but he did end up murdering her anyways. Sounds a little too easy."

"Ding ding ding ding! Such events were exactly what he needed as an awakening! Oh, the horror! Though I wonder how things would've changed had it been Devi. The emotions and tighter connection he had for her...would've been very powerful." Shmee said as he turned the page of his book. Sickness brow furrowed as she stared into the fire.

"She was stronger than him. Simple as that. Stronger than me." She said reminiscing the pain of Devi plucking her eyes out.

Shmee poked at Sickness's ankle playfully, receiving a hiss of annoyance in return, "It's okay amor," Shmee teased, "You're powerful enough and that's coming from me.

"Patronizing Prick!" Sickness growled before getting up and storming off into the forest. Shmee shrugged before saying out loud, "I'm over the questions now, no more fun. This book has my attention."

Eff chuckled seeing the book cover of a man and woman embracing each over in a field, "A romance novel has your attention? Please I love delusions as much as the next being but that garbage?"

Laughing in response Shmee looked up towards a sitting Eff and Reverend, "It's intriguing to learn what goes through humans' imagination. Very never-ending. Listen to this!" Shmee turned to the next page as he began his narration.

"Conversations between Blue and Flora only led to trouble. Flora was weak against his charming advances and always seemed to know what to say to her. It was like he could read her mind and flutter her heart and stomach with butterflies.

"Flora" he whispered in a voice that dripped like honey, "Is it alright if I kiss you?"

She nodded in response unable to resist him any longer. Her muscles relaxed as soon as her lips melted into his. Her palms sweated as her jaw slacked and moved while her tongue caressed his. It was a powerful feeling unlike any other. Flora and Blue were ready to give in to each other their very all.

He started to kiss her down softly from her lips to her chin, jawline, and the sides of her neck she tilted back to Blue as he reached for the buttons of her blouse. Exposing her round and soft breast as her skin reacted in goosebumps and a shiver went down her spine.

His mouth and tongue went to work. Swishing her perky round nipple side to side with his lips. Sucking lightly while twirling his tongue all around. She moaned as her brain exploded in ecstasy. Drool spilled down Blue's chin as his mouth then traveled down below her navel. His lips made their way to the beauty between her legs. Probing his tongue in her warm and wet slit, wagging it up, down, and in circles keeping it in rhythm with how well Flora would respond. Going back and forth sucking lightly on her pearl to her delicious cavern of pleasure had her begging for more and more."

Just when Dboy thought sitting this far away from the group would prevent an additional headache, Shmee kept going with the sick torture, "Stop reading that filth out loud, this forest is quiet enough" Dboy groaned as he got up to walk away further from camp.

Shmee smirked at Dboys constant annoyance. he thought how easy it was to get a rise out of the voice of Misery and realized why Eff enjoyed doing so for so long.

"This is quite a short book, I'm just getting to the middle end of it!" Shmee grinned as Reverend and Eff laughed.

Sickness sat on top of a cliff, looking over below and far out wide into the wooded ravine and mountains. She could sense delicately clearer than ever the life of the world before her breathing. Sickness figured because she was around the noise of the other beings, it was hard to hear the world clearly. In fact, Sickness realized ever since she materialized into the world after Reverend found her, she had never been totally alone. It felt foreign to her, the little voice of chaos. How the silence made her feel almost ill.

"oh, it's you."

Sickness whipped her head around startled by the sneakiness Dboy had, "Make yourself known next time! you're quieter than the rest of them!"

"Whatever." Dboy replied as he stood next to Sickness. He remembered the look on Johnny's face happy to be with Devi that night many years ago, every time he interacted with Sickness. It was always this weird association that was in the back of dboys mind. The woman who ruined things for him by giving Johnny - no - Eff hope. That life was somehow still worth living. Dboy knew Sickness wasn't to blame, still, dboy saw her as a symbolic reminder of the many things he couldn't control. And after hearing about how she and Reverend truly played a part in everything from Shmee, he really wanted to end them both.

Hey, why haven't I done that already?

Dboy sat next to Sickness, grabbing her by the shoulders as he forced her to face him. Angry now, Sickness yelled, "What the hell?!" as she tried to push Dboy away from her. Unfortunately, Dboy was stronger.

"Look at me bitch." Dboy commanded telepathically to a struggling Sickness. Locking eyes now, both lost beings only show glints of rage at each other. Just as Dboy was going to start his rampage of destroying Sickness, time suddenly stood still.

The moon was bright now, right above the both of them the light shone upon Sickness button eyes, doll-like lips, and round face. Dboy felt himself freeze up as the familiar feeling of a tremor started. Similar to when he faced off with Shmee, he suddenly had no control over himself.

"You're not going to do that. Not to her."

The mysterious voice said. In a flash, the image of the woman he met at the riverbed appeared and just as fast the image of Devi sitting across from him on the couch from his point of view appeared. Before trying to make sense of what was happening, Dboy felt his true form, involuntarily, unravel.
