A week passed, and the girls began work on their battle robot. After some debating, they decided on an Aerialbot.

"Pretty cool, we taught a monkey how to use power tools," stated Sonata as she twisted a wrench.

"It saves us both time and effort," stated Pinkie.

As they finished the body, Pinkie Pie looked at it. It looked like a robot, but not the one they wanted.

"I think we messed up. This looks more like an Animated Starscream," said the pink-haired girl as she scratched her head with a screwdriver.

The robot did resemble the infamous Decepticon minus the logo and paintwork.

"It looks like we followed all of the instructions correctly," the former siren said while looking at the book they had.

Phil dropped the blowtorch and climbed onto Pinkie's shoulder. He then pointed to the chapter titled 'Chapter 7: Decepticon Airforce'.

"That explains the gasoline we siphoned from the wrecks," said Sonata as she looked where the monkey was pointing.

"Wanna just paint him the color of one of his clones?" asked Pinkie.

"Sunstorm works for me."

The two girls then left to grab some paint. They returned and began to give their new robot a makeover.

"Hope this can give us the edge against the Hunters."

"Maybe. Hope we can teach him how to be a friend," said Pinkie.

No one noticed Pinkie's geode leaking Equestrian magic into Sunstorm's systems. Phil then came with an empty water bottle.

"Looks like we need to restock our water supply," said Sonata as she looked at the bottle.

"Then looks like we better get started," said Pinkie as she tossed Sonata her sword.

The girls left, unaware that the robot they made had come online. As the girls walked to the watering hole, they stayed alert for Crosshair and his associates.

"I think we can relax. I don't think anyone can be sneaky in this jungle," said the pink-haired teen.

"With all the dense shrubbery, it would be near impossible not to make a sound," stated Sonata.

Phil chattered in agreement. The group refilled their water bottles when they arrived at the watering hole. Then Sonata saw something reflecting off the water.

"AMBUSH!"

The girls moved and were barely able to get out of the way.

"I knew you girls would need to come back here for water," said Crosshair as he made his presence known.

"But you don't know where their campsite is," said Buckshot.

Crosshair glared in annoyance but knew he needed to lie about that.

"Last warning, girls. Give up, and I'll take you home," said the hunter.

Everyone heard the sound of swords being drawn from the girls.

"Good, I could use the exercise," said Hatchet, drawing their weapon.

Crosshair and the others drew machetes, knives, and hatchets.

"Your funeral, girls. Dispose of them," said Crosshair, giving instructions to his comrades.

The girls charged and fought better than last time.

"So you ladies have been practicing your techniques?" said Crosshair as he dodged and moved out of their attacks.

"Yup. And this time, we're prepared!" stated Pinkie, attempting to hit the man.

"Even so, you're still weak compared to me," said Crosshair. The hunter spun and had the back of his elbow making contact with the side of Pinkie's mouth.

While the struggle was going on, back at the girl's yacht, Sunstorm sensed the girls.

"Friends in danger," said the robot as he grabbed a sword.

Sunstorm transformed and took off. Back with the girls, the hunters gained the upper hand with Pinkie and Sonata.

"I said next time it would be different," stated Crosshair. The hunter delivered another elbow strike to Pinkie as she stumbled back from his counter.

"Pinkie!"

Bolt whacked Sonata next to her as she fell to the ground.

"You should worry about yourself, girl." The hunter chuckled as he threw the former siren hard to the ground as she crashed.

"No escape now. Any last words?" asked Sidearm as they threw Phil next to them.

"Yeah... IS THAT GUY CRAZY OR SUICIDAL?!" shouted Sonata.

"You heard them. Let's end their misery," stated Crosshair.

"I meant him!" said the former siren as she pointed to the air.

Everyone saw a fighter jet speeding straight toward them. Pinkie pulled her friends away as the jet fired BB gun pellets at the hunters.

"MOVE!" shouted Crosshair as they all moved out from the barrage of pellets.

The fighter jet transformed, grabbed Sidearm and threw him into Fur Coat.

"Fight my friends. You fight," said the robot to the girls.

"Sunstorm?" said Pinkie.

"We didn't plug him into an electrical system before we left," said Sonata.

Sunstorm attacked Bolt with Yubashiri while firing his rocket fist at Hatchet. Pinkie then noticed her geode glowing.

My geode must have had an effect on it.

Sonata saw Crosshair loading his rifle as Sunstorm fought Hatchet, then noticed a hornet's nest.

"Pinkie, Phil... I got an idea!"

"I'm all ears."

Sunstorm threw Buckshot as Crosshair nailed his leg.

"Time to send this junk pile to the scrapyard."

"Hey, Crosshair, think fast!" shouted Pinkie.

The hunter turned in the direction that the girl shouted from. Pinkie and Sonata fired a hornet's nest using the branch it was on as a slingshot and nailed Crosshair. The hunter let out a painful cry as the stings from the hornets began to pierce his face. In a panic, Crosshair ran towards his associates. Which, they fled from the watering hole.

"Friends?" asked the robot.

"Friends," responded Pinkie.

"Thanks for the save, Sunstorm," said Sonata.

"That's my name?"

"Yup," nodded the pink-haired girl.

Phil climbed onto Sunstorm's shoulder.

"Let's get the water and get out of here," suggested Sonata.

"Here's one of your swords back," said Sunstorm as he handed Pinkie her weapon.

"Thanks, Sunstorm."

"They're the bad guys?" asked the robot as the girls got fresh water.

"Yeah. They hunt animals for sports," said Sonata.

"And right now, we're the only ones who can stop them!" expressed Pinkie.

"Which means we should leave. We got our water," said the former siren.

The group headed back to the ship with the bottles of water.

"Hey, Pinkie, while we were scrounging for parts. I found a book on building gadgets out of junk," said Sonata as she handed the object to the energetic teen.

"Oh, nice. That could be useful," said Pinkie as she looked at it and got an idea. "But right now, we need to go to Crosshair's place tonight."

Sonata, Phil, and Sunstorm couldn't believe what the girl had just said.

"What?" shouted Sonata.

"I'll explain everything tonight," said Pinkie.
