"Margo wait!" Ashley called after me as I ran.
Behind her the bathroom door slammed against the wall.
"Margo! I - oh," she said as she fell.
I ran down the hall stairs through the living room and out the front door. The morning was dark cold and quiet. Once out there I frantically looked around trying to decide where to go. I felt a hand touch my arm and jumped.
"Margo," Ashley said softly, "I cant very well let you alone out here by yourself."
"get away from me," I said.
"no."
"oh and you're so much more better equipped to handle a said dangerous situation if it comes along then I am?" I said annoyed taking her arm off me.
"why yes in fact I am."
"oh and what makes you so?"'
"well for one thing I weigh more than you."
"don't bring my weight into this."
"fine then. But I wont leave you alone out here. Im going to text Haley or Kerry."
"no."
"do you want to be alone? Do you want to end up like me?"
