Hello everyone, it's been a very long time since I last updated. As you saw previously these years, I had not put a hiatus tag on this story like I did for my others which I abandoned. This is because I had intended to continue at some point.
But 3-4 years is a long time. I have read so many more fanfics, stories and I have written a few things myself. So re-reading this story again, I find it extremely badly written. Not only that, the plot is just completely fucked since I wrote with no semblance of a plan whatsoever, simply writing whatever came to my mind.
Naturally, this story turned into a dumpster fire. You all are actually incredibly polite for NOT saying that in the comments. But now as I am older and more experienced in writing, the flaws are too glaring to ignore.
I thought at first I could simply pick up where I left off, but I find it impossible. My original vision of the story was simply to make yet another ancient!Percy story. After a few chapters, that went straight out of the window, and from there I just began adding plot elements left, right and centre without any proper planning. This has led to a totally fucked power scaling, glaring plot holes, plot induced stupidity in some characters, and more.
Hence I've decided that I am going to rewrite this story from scratch. Hopefully because of me being older and more experienced in writing, I can write it much better this time.
P.S - Holy fuck my previous self was insanely cringe and fucking insanely entitled for demanding reviews like that. Really want to go back in time and slap me for that nonsense I put in the A/N in chapter 22.
