natsu pov.
I see bernadetta and petra talking. Whatever they're talking about is making bernie nervous. But then again. What doesn't?
"Oh. big brother!" bernadetta yelled.
"You are still calling him that?" petra asked.
"I don't mind. What are you two talking about?" i asked.
"My grandfather is in trouble." petra said.
"Yeah. her grandfather has been trying to send us brighid troops. But the church has been sending messengers." bernadetta said.
"You say messengers. But the truth is that they are a threat. Brigid is having no power to refuse. I do not understand why though. We are not at war with them this time." petra said. After sothis was separated from byleth. She told everyone else about the other timelines.
"Remember about what i said about those snakes? About how they take control of powerful positions?" i asked.
"Yeah. you said that they kill powerful people and then one of them disguises themself as that person. What does that have to do with…oh." bernadetta said. As it clicked in her head.
"So it's not the church. But those snakes. The agarthans." petra said with a look of anger in her eyes. "Your majesty. Bernadetta. I requiring your aid in dealing with these deceivers." petra said.
"Say no more. Anytime i can crush those snakes' plans. I will gladly do it. Plus. i never leave a friend hanging." i said with a smile.
"Do i have to?" bernadetta said. Clearly against going.
"Come on bernie. Help your big brother out." i said with a charming smile.
'Oh! Alright. But I'm staying behind you the whole time." bernadetta said with that all too cute pout.
"That's where archers are supposed to be. Let's go!"
Timeskip to when hubert/catherine show up to the fight.
"Halt devil! My name is anaximandros! You've slaughtered many of my brothers and sisters! In the name of the agarthans! I will send you to the dark!" anaximandros yelled. As he pointed an sword at me.
"He looks dangerous." petra said.
"Eep!" bernadetta yelled.
"You two go on ahead…i'll handle this." i said. Bernadetta and petra nodded and when off. "Come and get me viper!" i yelled as i charged at anaximandros.
After the battle.
"The vegetation around here is pretty different the kinds we usually see. It maybe not good for a recluse but the forest does have it's own charm doesn't it?" bernadetta said.
"I'm still surprised that of all of the hobbies of a shut in. it's plants." i said. Bernadetta giggled.
"Yep. i like plants. Especially the carnivorous ones. They just sit there. And there dinner comes to them." bernadetta said. I chuckled when i remembered a certain time in the greenhouse.
"I remember when you did just that in the greenhouse. And I put a scone in your mouth. Your reaction when you opened your eyes was so adorable." i said. Bernadetta's face went red.
"Stop teasing me!" bernadetta yelled. Petra soon came back.
"Sorry to making you wait. I have spoken with him." petra said.
"So how it go?" i asked.
"He's well and strong. He also believing me when i told him about those snakes ruse. The empire will be getting help from brighid." petra said.
"And that's another one of those snakes plans crushed to a pulp. Let's get back. Anyone else want some food on the way?" i asked.
"Sure!" bernadetta yelled.
"That would be lovely….by the way. Isn't that the sword wielded by the enemy general." petra said as she pointed at the sword I took from the cold dead hands of anaximandros.
"Yeah. i may hate those snakes with a burning passion. But i can't deny they make some pretty sharp and durable blades…which is why i'm keeping it. Nothing more ironic for a weapon maker then to die to one of their own creations." i said with a grin.
Natsu has obtained ridill.
Retribution.
"This tea is fantastic ferdinand. How are things going between you and dorothea?" i asked with a grin.
"They're going great. There's no more animosity between us. Thank you for helping that day. Natsu." ferdinand said with a smile.
"Natsu tachinowarui. The black eagles wingman." i said as i sipped my tea.
"Don't pretend you expected this. You just helped with the animosity. Love blossoming was because of them and them alone." lysithea said as she sipped tea. "This tea is good. But it would be better with sweets." lysithea said as she sat next to shujinko. Hard to believe they both came over to the empire just for tea. But shujinko laughed at his wife's sweet tooth.
"That sweet tooth of yours hasn't changed. Luckily i made some." shujinko said as he brought a plate of brownies. Lysitheas eyes had stars in them.
"Your so thoughtful my love!" lysithea said with no ounce of shame. All of us laughed. But a soldier soon ran into the room.
"Lord ferdinand! Pardon the interruption. Our scouts happened upon the information you were looking for. I thought it would be best to let you know as soon as possible." the soldier said.
"They know where my father is!?" Ferdinand yelled.
"Yes sir." the soldier said.
"Tell me. Now." ferdinand said.
"After losing his position as prime minister. Your father was held in enbarr for a very long time. He escaped and no one knew where he was. But recently. He was seen in hrym territory. Most likely heading for alliance territory." the soldier said.
"That's not good. There's been a massive insurrection in hyrm territory. The people there have been put through hell because of how duke aegir ruled the place. If they find him. He'll be ripped to shreds." shujinko said.
"We need to move. Now!" ferdinand yelled. I may hate the fat prick. But he's still ferdinand's father. So maybe he did something right.
After the battle.
After dealing with the bandits trying to take advantage of a bad situation. We saw duke aegir…going with an agarthan.
"Father!? What are you doing!?" ferdinand yelled.
"I'm sorry my son. But i refuse to stay in the empire run by a street rat that the princess took in!" duke aegir yelled. As he looked at me with disdain. Before the agarthan warped away with him.
Timeskip/aegir estate.
"So much for that." shujinko said.
"Father? Why?" ferdinand questioned. Clearly shocked about this.
"He said it himself ferdinand. He couldn't stand the fact that a commoner was now an emperor. All that talk about nobility you constantly spouted back at the academy. Clearly your father didn't have the same values. He sided with those snakes because some nobody without a drop of noble blood was now standing above him." i said.
"Yeah. you told us about how the nobles of the empire couldn't stand the fact that a street rat was standing by the princess of the empire. So they did everything to make your life here hell. But you persevered. And now you're above all of them. The nobles may not like you. But i've heard nothing but praise from the common folk. And that's all you need. Right natsu." shujinko said.
"Yep. i leave the nobles to my wife. The common folk are where my priorities lie." i said with a smile.
"Natsu…i never really apologize to you. Did i?" ferdinand asked.
"For what?" i asked.
"For all the trouble my father and the other nobles caused you…edelgard told me everything. And i just couldn't believe that nobles did that to you. As a noble. I believe it's our duty to help the common folk. But you received nothing but abuse from nobles. And for that. I truly apologize." ferdinand said.
"Idiot…you have nothing to apologize for. Those douchebags let their all so great crests and their position of power go to their head and got egotistical and arrogant. But you never let your genes or your new position as prime minister go to your head. You still held on to your belief that nobility should look for the little guy. Instead of pushing them down further. Even though your mentioning of nobility could kill even jeralt if it was made into a drinking game. But your still one of the good ones. Hell! If dorothea. A woman that has a burning hatred for nobles. Is now your wife. Then you have to be doing something right." i said with a smile.
"Natsu…thank you." ferdinand said with appreciation.
"Shujinko…you sound like you knew what was going on in hyrm that lead to an uprising. Care to give us the story?" i asked.
"I don't really know. I saw it first hand. But everyone was too riled up to tell me why they were rioting." shujinko said.
"It goes back to the insurrection of the seven. After it was quelled. Hyrm territory was under the control of duke aegir." lysithea said.
"I'm guessing he ruled like a tyrant?" i asked. Lysithea nodded.
"He imposed harsh taxes. Much harsher then on his own. Making their lives very difficult. People came to ordelia territory to escape from that. But they were sent back as ordelia territory was occupied by the empire. It only got worse when duke aegir lost his position. as his replacement was lord arundel." lysithea said.
"Lord arundel…thales!" i yelled. Shocking everyone. "I'm not sure when. But arundel has been dead for a good long while. He was one of the first to be killed and have his identity stolen by those snakes. And i'm guessing things only got worse when that viper took control?" i asked. Lysithea nodded.
"The taxes got even worse. Squeezing the people painfully dry. They were also conscripted for duty. Anyone who opposed were killed on the spot. Lord arundel or rather. Thales did this in the name of duke aegir." lysithea said.
"What!?" ferdinand yelled. I scoffed.
"That's what i would expect from that bastard. After all. Snakes like him and the rest of his kind see's people like you and lysithea as nothing more then beasts. Then animals. So of course he's gonna put the down the animals who would dare bite back at a higher being such as him." i said with utter disgust and sarcasm in my voice. Making my disdain for the bastard clear. "And of course he lets someone else suffer the consequences of his actions. What else would you expect from a viper?" I asked.
"Natsu. Shujinko. House aegir will aid both of you in the agarthans destruction. You have my word." ferdinand said. The fire burning in his eyes.
"Now you feel our hatred. Good. you'll need it when we find their nest. Those snakes will never pull a stunt like that ever again! Not when we're done with them!" I yelled. Everyone nodded. You better hope your hiding spot is invisible thales. Because when we find it. You and your kind will face retribution…for all your sins against the people of fodlan! Don't bother surrendering. There's no mercy in my heart for you.
Shujinko pov.
Forgotten hero.
"Wh-what are you talking about? Marianne asked in a panic. As some guy is pestering her.
"Just come here!" the man yelled. I decided to intervene.
"Shujinko! Help!" marianne yelled.
"Don't interfere. Just hand the girl over to me." the man said.
"This girl is my wife. So back off!" i yelled.
"What? Do you realize the danger you put yourself in by associating with her? Do you know of the wondering beast in the edmund territory? It is said that it attacks people every night and drags them away. To feast. And the true identity of this beast is that girl behind you!" the man yelled.
"No! I would never." marianne said. scared.
"And what gave you that insane idea? The whole thing about her "cursed" crest right? I've been with her for five years. And nothing's happened yet. Even if it did. I think it would still be worth it to stay with a kind and beautiful girl like her. Now get out of here. Before I show you what a real beast looks like." i threatened.
"N-no matter. I'll get the evidence i need." the man said. As he bolted from the room. I turned around to see marianne blushing. Most likely from when I called her kind and beautiful.
"I-i'm sorry i got you involved in that." marianne said.
"I told you at the altar i would always protect you. Who was that clown anyway?" i asked.
"He's a crest scholar. He's been following me ever since my father disappeared." marianne said.
"Hmm. you did say your crest was cursed. But what about it makes it so cursed?" i asked.
"The crest i inherited from my father. Maurice's crest….It's known as the crest of the beast. It was said that they were twelve heroes who saved fodlan." marianne said. I tried to hold back my desire to call out this story. Because i know that those twelve we're not heroes but lowly bandits that were made heroes by rhea rewriting history. But it sounds like what happened to miklan also happened to maurice. But hearing this story. I now know why marianne think she's cursed.
"Maurice's crest is a symbol of disaster. Anyone who comes into contact with it is met with great misfortune. Those who carry the crest become beasts at night and slaughter innocent people." marianne said with great sadness.
"Marianne…i don't believe that for a second. Meeting you has been one of my greatest fortunes. And if you do become a beast a night. I'll find a way to save you. Losing you truly would be a great misfortune to me." i said.
"Shujinko…" marianne said. As she covered her mouth with her hands and blushed.
"I take it that monster wondering the woods looks like what maurice turned into?" i asked. Marianne nodded. "So the rumors of your crest will go down if that monster is dead?" i asked.
"That may by true. But i can't do it on my own." marianne said.
"Luckily you're not. I'm going with you. Whatever makes things even a bit easier for you. I'll do it. Anything for the woman i love." i said with a smile. Marianne blushed more.
"Shujinko…you really make my heart melt. You know that. Let's go…but don't tell anyone about my crest. Okay?" Marianne asked. And I shrugged.
"I've been doing it for four years now. I could do it for even longer." i said with a smile. Marianne smiled back. Seeing her smile is always something i love seeing.
Battle dialogue.
"I can feel your desire to kill me…a deep hatred runs through you." the wondering beast. Or rather Maurice said. I know who this monster is thanks to sothis.
"The girl with blue hair who came here with me. Her life has been total hell because of your damn crest! If putting you down can ease her suffering then so be it. I'll rip you apart with my bare hands if necessary!" i yelled as i charged with two wo daos in each hand.
After the battle.
"I still can't believe what we saw in that forest. The wandering beast's eviscerated body…only human bones and this sword remains…" marianne said as she showed me blutgang. "Surely. The creature's true identity is.." marianne tried to say only for that crest scholar to show up again.
"I heard rumors that the wondering beast was slain. Do you really believe that frees you of suspicion?" the crest scholar said. I had enough of this douchebag harassing my mari. So i took the sword from her hands. Luckily i still had the dragon sign that sothis gave me before the battle of garreg mach. So i didn't have to worry about becoming another wandering beast.
"Listen buddy. When we killed that monster. This was what was left of it. Alongside some human bones. If you're a crest scholar worth your salt. Then you should know what this sword is." i said. Just wanting this clown to go away and quit harassing marianne.
"It's unmistakable! This is maurice's crest carved into this sword's crest stone. But then how did the lost magic blade end up with the wandering beast? According to the story. Maurice didn't let go of the sword until the very end. That must mean…i see. So that's what happened. My apologies. It seems i was mistaken. I must be going." the crest scholar said. As he bowed and walked away.
"So the wandering beast was…" marianne said.
"It was Maurice himself. It truly is like what happened to miklan. Except there was no one to put him out of his misery. No one did until now. He spent a thousand years. Trapped in that mutated husk of a body. Until we put an end to his suffering." i said.
"True…and because of that...i feel my curse has been lifted. The blood of a beast no longer flows through me. I finally feel human. Thank you shujinko. You said meeting me was one of your greatest fortunes…well. That's how i feel about you." marianne said with a smile. And to my surprise. She actually took the lead for once. And kissed me on the lips. I was shocked. But happy. "Can i…stay with you tonight?" she asked. I was surprise to hear that. Usually she rushed room before it got dark. Now i know why. She was afraid is she stayed. She would turn into a monster and devour me. Even though that was a load of crap from the get go. She finally feels like she doesn't have to worry about it. But i'm glad i get to finally hold this kind and beautiful girl in my arms as i sleep.
"I thought you'd never ask…of course you can." i said with a smile. Marianne walked back to her room with blutgang on one hand. Her other wrapped around mine as she leaned her head on my shoulder. It was nice.

Atonement.
Athro pov.
"Pardon me your highness." dedue said.
"What can i do for you?" i asked.
"I've received word that some people of duscur are being hunted by cultists." dedue said.
"Cultists? What are they worshipping?" i asked.
"The flame emperor." dedue said with disdain. I saw carmen approaching.
"I…want to help...this is my fault…all of this is my fault…i know i have no right to ask. But please let me help." carmen said. dedue was silent for a good long bit.
"Alright. If allowing you to atone for your past as the flame emperor makes things go more smoothly. Then i'm all for it." dedue said. I smiled.
After the battle.
"Thank you for helping us! Those cultists would have killed us if not for your help." a duscurin soldier said.
"Don't thank me…it's my fault this happened in the first place…i was know none of you will forgive me. But i wanted to try to redeem myself at least a little." carmen said. The soldier looked her in shock.
"Your the one who destroyed duscur?...no. i don't believe it." one of the duscurin soldiers said.
"What?" carmen said in surprise.
"That monster laughed as the monkies of duscur burned. She was a terrible monster. But you. You seem like a nice girl atoning for a terrible mistake. Keep at it. Redemption is never out of reach." the soldier said as they all left.
"That's…not the reaction i was expecting." carmen said confused.
"Can't i'm surprised though. The way you were. And the way you are now are so different from each other it is kind of hard to believe that you were the flame emperor." dedue said.
"Redemption is never out of reach…is that…true?" carmen asked.
"I won't deny that there a lot of sins you've committed…but your trying to redeem yourself instead of believing that it's too late and you must continue down that path….and that's gotta count for something. I'll never forgive the monster who destroyed my home and took the people i cared about. But that monster isn't who you are. Not anymore. You slayed that monster yourself after all." dedue said. Carmen chuckled sadly.
"Never thought i would get comfort from one of my victims…dedue…thanks." carmen said with a sad smile.
The sister.
"Shujinko! I got a message from my brother. There's a slave auction being run by bandits nearby." hilda said.
"Seriously? Well let's go put a stop to it. We don't need that happening in goneril territory!" i yelled. Hilda grabbed her wyvern. And I hopped along board. We were over the auction and i was shocked to see who the girl being sold was…it was shiva!
"That's…my sister." i said. Hilda looked at me surprised.
"Seriously? Want to leave that selfish brat behind?" hilda asked.
"No…she may have left me out to dry. But she doesn't deserve that. Let's go hilda!" i yelled. Hilda nodded. And we went in to crash the party.
After the battle.
"Thanks for the save!...wow shujinko. You got ripped!" shiva yelled.
"What are you doing in fodlan. Shiva?" i asked in a cold tone.
"...i wanted to apologize for what happened…i didn't want to get involved in that stupid drama…i only thought of myself….i was nothing short of selfish. And I'm sorry for that." shiva said. I wasn't convinced.
"Is this a legitimate apology? Or do you just want something from me. And you think an empty apology is all you need to get it from me?" I asked. Shiva looked to the ground sad.
"Shujinko! You don't have to burn all the bridges you know!? That apology was nothing but legitimate. I get that your family has done but betray you. But someone deserves a second chance. Don't you think?" hilda argued.
"Miss? What is you name?" shiva asked.
"It's hilda. Hilda von goneril. And don't call me miss. Makes me feel old." hilda said.
"Thank you for trying. But I understand. All of us turned our back on him for doing the right thing. And I just decided not to say anything. Doing nothing is sometimes worse than doing something. If that bridge is truly gone. I just wanted to apologize. I'll go back to the sanctuary now." shiva said. As she walked back and began to open the portal.
"FINE!" i yelled. "I'll give you one more chance shiva! But if you betray me like that again! I'll kill you like i did shin. We understand each other?" i asked.
"Shujinko!" hilda yelled.
"It's fine hilda. It sounds fair. I'll try not to betray him like that again…and if i do…he has every right to take my life." shiva said. After that. I brought her to everyone. Everyone was shocked that i was actually willing to give someone from my backstabbing family another chance. It seemed like shiva wanted to atone for her selfishness. I'm still skeptical. But when you completely shatter trust. It takes a lot to get it back. But maybe hilda was right. Maybe i don't have to destroy that bridge completely.
reunion.
Natsu pov.
I noticed slayer holding a red and black stone. I walked up to her.
"What is that slayer?" i asked.
"How can…oh right. No memory of your past as natsu summer. To answer your question this is a gate stone. A stone that will open a gate to another world. This one will open a gate to a world called berseria. I…think that's where mu is." slayer said.
"So what's stopping you?" i asked.
"I'm scared…what if he doesn't remember me…what if…when i get him to remember. I make him remember everything. All the awfulness he went through…i don't want to do that to him." slayer said. I put a hand on her shoulder.
"This is clearly eating away at you. Just go and apologize even if he doesn't understand who or why you're apologizing. At least you did. But if you don't feel comfortable going alone. I'll go with you. Would like to see another world." i said.
"So would i. Be a nice change of pace from traveling through time." shez said as he appeared.
"Can i come too. I may still have some tasks to do for edelgard. But seeing another world is too interesting to pass up on." monica said as she walked in as well.
"Guess it's now a four man team. So. you want to do this now slayer?" i asked slayer looked to the floor and then stood up.
"Let's do this." slayer said with that all too familiar smile. The lifted the stone up it gave some sort of magic. And soon a huge light appeared. Guess that's the gate. We all went through. And found ourselves in a small village. I noticed the stone slayer had was now bright green.
"What's up with the stone? It changed color." i asked.
"This is the color representing fodlan. Meaning it'll open a gate back whenever we want." slayer replied.
"You know. I was expecting going to another world. We'd see something new. But this looks like any hamlet you'd see anywhere else." shez said. As if the world was answering that question in the form of a middle finger. The village was stormed by beasts we've never seen. Bipedal wolves. And bipedal lizards armed to the teeth. Being lead by a creature that looked like it was half woman half snake.
"There you go shez." i said like a complete smartass.
"We can't let those monsters harm the people of this village. We have to stop them!" monica yelled.
"Yeah. your right. Let's show these monster the might of the empire!" i yelled.
After the battle.
"Those monsters were tough." monica said utterly exhausted.
"Yeah…phew those monster were an new challenge…kind of want to fight a few more." shez said. One of the wolf monsters got behind shez and was about to rip open his back only for it be cut down by someone else. After the monster faded away. I saw that it was a woman with long black hair. And yellow eyes. But what was most shocking was her arm. It was…like a demon's i notice the wolf she cut down with that arm turned into a human…but not an alive one. The arm disappeared and became a normal human one.
"Is everyone alright?" the woman asked.
"Yes. these four strangers fought back those brigands." a villager said.
"Brigands?" monica asked.
"I've dealt with plenty of bandits…none of them were wolves or lizards though." shez said. The woman looked at us with surprise.
"So you can see them…my name is velvet crowe. If you would follow me. I can answer your questions. When we entered. We saw girl around 5 years old with the same hair color as velvet. But with red eyes.
"Who are they mommy?" the girl asked.
"Just some visitors to aball. Nothing to worry about umbra sweetie." velvet said.
"Hmm. okay." umbra said. Only for to start sniffing slayer. "You smell like…daddy." umbra said.
"Umbra! Please don't sniff strangers." velvet said with a sweatdrop.
"She has the scent as daddy. Are you here to meet daddy?" umbra asked.
"Is your dad mu?" slayer asked. Umbra nodded. "I see. This may come as surprise. But i'm his sister. Slayer nashi." slayer said. Velvet looked at her in shock.
"Umbra. Could you wait outside. I need to talk to aunt slayer alone." velvet said.
"Okay. i wonder if guy and karol want to play today." umbra said as she went outside.
"I came here to apologize to him. Even if he doesn't know why. For not taking control of the nashi clan when he fell to that bastard bokun." slayer said.
"I don't think he'd be mad you for that. Considering what he went through as nashi. Do you really want to take his place. When his place but him nothing but suffering?" velvet asked.
"How do you know that?" slayer asked.
"His memories as nashi…they've been back for a while. He remembers everything. But he still tried his hardest to move on and try to find a light at the end of a long and dark tunnel…he even convinced me to do the same." velvet said as she looked to the ground sad.
"Sounds like you and him have been through alot…i know you probably don't want to tell this to three strangers…so i'll respect that. And not push." i said.
"No…you all came here to see mu. It's gonna be a while for him to get back. So i might as well tell you our story. after all. You came here to apologize and to see your brother again. So it's only right you hear what he's been through here. What we've all been through." velvet said. She then sighed. "I was hoping that i would never have to think about the past again…but maybe the people from your world can learn a lesson from this." velvet said. She then told her story. The story of a brutal betrayal that lead to a brutal rampage for revenge. It was a hard to stomach story. Velvet and mu went through such hell. Despite all the pain and misery. They still stood up and fought against the man who betrayed them. Even if that meant going through a god. They still reached the end of that long dark and painful tunnel. And they still found a happy ending at the end of it…and if that isn't inspiring…then i don't know what is.
"Do you think of me and mu as a monster?" velvet asked.
"No…I don't." i said. Surprising everyone. "Most people would think your actions are inhuman. And to kill a man everyone believed in. but they fail to realize that the power he gained to save the world came from a vile betrayal to the three people who trusted him the most. And of course. They did not realize that his plan to save the world was to turn into a land of emptiness. Artorius wasn't a hero. The people just wanted to believe that. That a solution for the terror haunting this world was found. Failing to realize that solution would turn the world into a land of emptiness. Artorius was no great man. He had the best interests sure. But you know the saying. "The world to hell is paved with good intentions." he was no savior. He was a man who chose to handle his grief by turning it into emptiness. And that is the most unhealthy and self destructive way possible to handle grief. And i get why you mu and laphicet was so angry at him. The more you trust someone. The more their betrayal hurts. If you team up with a thief who at the end tried to run away with everything. He won't get far. Because you saw the betrayal coming a mile a way. But you laphicet. You've known him for years. He was someone your sister loved. You trusted him so much. And he threw that away and betrayed all of you. And threw you into a hell. So i don't think of you as the demon king and lord of calamity. I see you both as a boy and girl who was wronged by someone who chose to throw away his emotions to avoid the pain of grief…and became empty…utterly empty." I said.
"Couldn't have said it better myself." shez said.
"Indeed. I got the fact that scary and pretty hard to kill monsters lurk around everywhere. But what would be the point of living if you can't feel happy. Sad or angry. All of those emotions are what make us human. If you throw those away. How are you any different from a doll?" monica asked.
"Yeah. and despite your quest for revenge. You were still human velvet. The only real time i would say that you took things too far was when mu killed those two praetor siblings. But then again. Those who you killed you only did because they got in your way. Now if you want to see a true heartless monster that will stop at nothing to get revenge. Because of that. They do all the awful stuff they've done without any guilt or regret. You and mu obviously regret your past actions. And wouldn't do them ever again if you can help it. But the agarthans? They're pure evil. They did all of these atrocites without a hint of guilt shame or regret! And to people who had nothing to do with the the nabateans!" i yelled. "It really is you?" slayer said as she hugged him. Tears came down her eyes. "I'm sorry! I was too much of a coward to take up the nashi clan! It fell apart because i was a coward and ran from my responsibility!" slayer sobbed.
"It's alright…i didn't want you too." mu said as slayer looked up to me. "Taking up the ethereal blade and the role of leader of the nashi clan….it brought me nothing but suffering.
