Epilogue: Countdown to Chaos

Avengers Mansion, New York City. Earth-616.

BGM-Street Fighter 5 OST-Ryu vs. Ken Final Battle

A whole day has gone by since the Wisps embraced freedom once again. This day would've been the grand opening of the Egg Planet Park, but that plan was consumed by a black hole caused by poor cleaning management. A lot of people were disappointed they didn't get the chance to have fun at the interstellar amusement park, with J Jonah Jameson pinning the disaster on Spider-Man. Nonetheless, everything is back to normal.

Yang has definitely learned a lot during her recent adventure and is demonstrating those lessons right now in the training room against Iron Fist. Having finally figured out the meaning of power, she fights with a clear state of mind and in workout clothing. Her arms block her mentor's jabs before delivering a strong hook kick that he blocks with equal strength. Iron Fist knocks her onto her knees with a swift whip-like punch powered by chi, but that doesn't keep her down for even a second. The Dragon Huntress rushes back into the fight, ducking under his attacks with a roundhouse kick to his shins that impresses the Dragon Warrior. Their sparring match is evenly-matched but with signs of Yang adapting and making good use of Resonance Blaze, throwing several jabs and a few kicks that were all blocked except for the surprise flaming uppercut. While she did not underestimate her friend's abilities, she was able to treat the fight as an enjoyable affair of self-discovery and purification. Because of this, Yang knocks Iron Fist to the ground.

"Now I get it…" Despite losing, Iron Fist understands how strong his student has become as he stands up with a proud smile on his face, "Your technique remains unrefined, but you're well on your way into becoming a true warrior."

"Thank you. I still have so much to learn. I realized that during this adventure. I will keep getting stronger…For everyone's sake." Yang vowed with a solemn smile, which is acknowledged by her master's nod before they share a fist bump.

BGM-Sonic and the Black Knight OST-Blacksmith

Done with training for today, Yang walks around the mansion until she notices someone amazing. It's simply Spider-Man walking out of his lab putting on his mask, stopping upon hearing Yang ask, "Out to patrol?"

Spidey turns to her replying, "Yup. Want to test out some new gadgets Tails and I have been working on."

"Cool. Mind if I join and Blake after I take a shower?" Yang requested.

"Actually, it's just me today. Blake's busy at FEAST." Spidey answered.

"Well, mind if I patrol with you?" Yang asked kindly.

"Thought you weren't interested." Peter recalled, slightly surprised by her request.

"A girl can change her mind. 'Sides, someone needs to bail you out of trouble when it inevitably happens." Yang teases her ex-boyfriend.

"Whenever we're together, trouble turns into disaster." Peter quipped.

"The fun kind to stop, you mean. Who better to teach you to have fun during crimefighting than yours truly." Yang smiled.

"Sonic."

"That was rhetorical."

"I know." Peter chuckled, before saying with a hidden smile, "You can tag along. Just remember to put on a mask."

"Do I have to? Everyone in this dimension knows I can kick butt." Yang whined.

"Nothing wrong lookin' stylish when beating on bad guys." Peter teased whilst walking away.

"Like you know fashion, Amazing Underoos." snarked Yang, with the two young heroes looking forward being partners-in-crime for today. Not as lovers. Perhaps at another time.

BGM-Mega Man X7 OST-Black Plotting

"Is this true, Nebula?"

Doctor Doom is in his throne room attending a meeting with his lieutenant Salem and another member of the Masters of Evil, the Cybernetic Assassin feared across space known as Nebula. And she has an urgent report for her master. "Yes. He has been using its power to destroy more dimensions than ones we've conquered. He plans to invade your world for the others by summer's end." Nebula informed, appearing in the room as a hologram.

"I appreciate the report. Continue reconnaissance." Doom ordered.

"At once." Nebula nodded, acknowledging her orders before disconnecting from the meeting.

"This Mad Titan sounds like he will be more than a nuisance." Salem commented, now aware of the ultimate menace that threatens their plans for multiversal domination.

"It surprise me not that he too would be interested in the Stones and has been waiting for the pieces to come together. With Eggman and Octavius missing, we are at a disadvantage." Upon pondering his next action that may turn the tide in this Multiversal War, Doom stands up from his throne stating, "…There is little time. We must commence with Project X Zone."

Shocked by this mysterious proposal, Salem argues, "But we do not have all the Stones. Nor the means to harness their latent potential without failure.", while following her leader out of the throne room and through a hallway.

"A single Stone can be as dangerous as all of them combined when used wisely." Doom claimed. The twin sorcerers then enter a laboratory with an active Convergence Device displaying the view of another universe, "The dimension we discovered will support my claim."

"The last Exo Stone is concealed in this other universe, behind an impenetrable wall." stated Salem, staring at a futuristic city located in this parallel dimension.

"Impenetrable to us. Not to all…Not to Ultron." Doom claimed, planning to find the Avengers' Greatest Robot Nemesis that may, or may not, help him further his plans in conquering all of existence.

Planet Wisp, Sonic's Universe.

"So, Yacker. You were with the Dimensional Avengers the whole time, right?" A White Wisp asked, with it and several other Wisps talking to Yacker about his recent adventure with his new dimensional friends.

"Yup, the whole adventure." Yacker answered.

"What was it like? Was Spider-Man cool?" Another curious White Wisp asked.

"Ice cold!"

"Was Yang and Human Torch fiery like me?" A lively Red Wisp questioned.

"Hot as the sun!"

"Did any of them fly?" A delighted Orange Wisp inquired.

"Four of them. Tails, Ruby, Pit, and Palutena. They flew all over the place!"

"Were Sonic's spikes sharp?" A loving Yellow Wisp wondered.

"I was waiting for him to get stuck in something!"

"They sound like real stars! Did they shine like one?" A Cyan Wisp asked.

"You could just about go blind looking at them!"

"Wow…The Avengers are amazing!" All the impressed Wisps commented.

"There's a whole lot of space out there, but there's only one group of Dimensional Avengers!" Yacker then stares into space with a reminiscing look that is expressed by his thoughts, 'I've decided to tell everyone about you so I never forget, Avengers. Thanks for everything! I hope I get to see you again…'

Elsewhere…

BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Robot's Lost and Found

"Faster, you idiots! Faster! Put your backsides into it." Eggman yelled at his robot lackeys, with all of them including Doctor Octopus stranded in space after surviving the destruction of Egg Planet Park.

"Technically we don't have backsides, boss." sassed Orbot, pushing Ock's damaged hovercraft through floating debris while Cubot does the same to the Egg Mobile.

"I don't care! Just push. We have to hurry. I already have my revenge planned out, and next time we will not fail!" claimed by the expressive Eggman, while his science partner just sighs in both exhaustion and frustration.

"Of course you won't boss. Of course you won't." Orbot doubted, "On the bright side, a certain someone got their voice back.", whilst gesturing to his fellow lackey.

"I feel like my old self. All I want to do is talk talk talk. Hey, remember when we were chasing all the little alien guys? What's up with those guys anyway? They sure were funny looking. Hahaha. Smelled good, though." Cubot babbled, much to the endless annoyance of the doctors since they can't do anything in their current predicament to shut him up.

Eggman groans, "Ugh, what I wouldn't give for the maddening silence of space right about now."

"Let's just sleep this off until we are rescued." Otto hoped.

"That might take a while…" Eggman muttered gloomily, while Cubot continues to talk endlessly about a random number of subjects.

"Oh, I wish we had some of that sushi. Bummer we didn't bring any with us. Not that we could eat it since we're robots, but we could have looked at it. I love looking at stuff. I love stuff! The fireworks show at the end was great. Hey, how did you get all that stuff to blow up like that? Loved it! By the way, did we destroy the Avengers this time? Duh, sorry, dumb question. We never destroy the Avengers! Hey, where are we going... Ohhhhh look at that star... oh, and that one... and that one... and that one... that one's nice... oh look at that!" jabbered Cubot, causing both Eggman to cover his ears and Ock to hit his head on his controls as desperate attempts to endure this punishment that has no end in sight.

At least for now. Unbeknownst to the doctors, an ominous dark force is beginning to manifest in space out in the distance. A mysterious creature, with the equally strange power to eat time. If the doctors are to stumble upon this unique creation, they will no doubt start a war that will span across generations.
