Part 2 - Telling Charlie
A/N: Should warn for details and some swearings in this chapter. Now onto the story, and again before I write onto the story; thank you all for your comments.
Bella took a deep breath, as the hands of her mates not that Charlie knew or would know a thing of this, but she then said
"Dad, I know you have been wondering about why I came here and why I have been on edge around you or any men in particular."
At that he nodded still narrowed eyes of the arms that was around her, and Sam and Jared both let go of her for now, and she sat back, and said
"I was working one night, at the diner where I had my job before I moved here, dad. And one night everything changed for me."
At that he looked confused but also worried of how pale she had grown, and she said now before he could ask or say anything else;
"I will spare you of the details, but a man came out of the shadows, and after some words of him to stop where he was, he proceeded to attack me. Rather visously, and very quick, but what he did, was enough for me to get to the hospital on my own, after he was done with me. At the hospital, they did the re-traumatising rape-kit and I also told the cops there, what had happened, what the man looked like and what he did to me. He stole my virginity and feeling safe for good while. One day, I had enough of men and boys getting to close to me, like they could do that with me. And so I told mom that she and Phil should get on the road like they had talked about, and I would go and stay here with you instead of going with them."
Charlie sat there very red, and very pissed off at what he was hearing from his daugther's mouth, while he thought it was something else than this, he was still rather pissed about it all. And he said
"And did they find that man who allegedly attacked you?" Bella gasped, then said harshly;
"They did, and they also found evidence in me, as in his semen. When they did, I was given anti-pill, and I took it, for unlike yourself and my mother I didn't want to be a teenage mother. I don't even wanted to be married before my 20's unless it is the real man and a man that I can trust with everything in me, dad. And the man persay, he is now in jail for not only my rape, but 10 more women and girls came forward with their own hell of story of how he would rape them and leave them brutalised with no care if we were dead or alive still after it. I had bruises all over my body for a month."
At that both he and the two boys with her gasped of her words, and how harsh she sounded like, toward being almost dead in her tone. Sam and Jared was on edge of wanting to touch her and hold her like before. She seemed to notice, and sat back, and her arms touching theirs, made them calm down for now.
Charlie said nothing at first, as he was still rather red and pissed off in his own stature. Bella kept an even eye on him, and then he said
"And why were you not with Jacob, as he called me to tell me if you were going to be there at the beach, he would hang out with you and those friends of yours?"
"First off, I am not friends with any of those from my school, not yet at least. I only came for I wanted stop both Mike and Tyler from getting on my nerves of being theirs or calling me baby. I am not theirs' and Jacob is too young for me to hang out with nowadays, dad. I might liked being friends and hang out with him back in the days, but time away and what has happened to me, has matured me and made me become more secure and know what I want from my own life and choices."
At that he just gapped, while Sam and Jared shared a look back behind her for now, and Charlie shook his head, said
"SO who are you two, and why are you with my daugther today?" In rather hard tone, and Bella sighed, as Sam said
"You should know by now, who I am, Chief, and you should know whoelse with me. But I am Sam Uley, son of Josh and Alison Uley, and this is my best friend; Jared Cameron, son of Amelia and Jeffrey Cameron. And we came, for after Bella came to the beach, she left them to go for a walk, and we just happened to come across onto her, while she sat crying on a log, and while we don't know each other, she still told us the same story as you have been, and when she talked about finally telling you this too, we both felt compelled to go with her, to see her be safe and well, to tell the truth, your temper is not fun to play with, Chief. As we all have heard your tone of anger before."
At that Charlie just narrowed his eyes, but said
"You told them before me, Bells?" Bella said with a sigh
"I didn't mean to, but since they sat down and comforted me the best they could, I just couldn't help to blurt it out to them. And unlike most would, they didn't shy away or look at me like I am a disease or something like it. Besides, dad, I am also 18 now, and can take care of myself very well. Not my issues if you or mom has problems to see that yourselves. I have worked in that same diner since I was 15, and I did love it until that fateful night of pain and terror happened to me. And if you don't want to believe me, then fine, but I should tell that my report of what happened, is in the files, just search my name, and you will find that in your computer system."
Charlie just sat there wide-eyed and then shook his head while muttering "will do that later." And Bella said
"And why was those Cullens here for? I am not friends with any of them."
At that he just gapped at her, and said
"You're not, I thought when Alice and her brother, Edward was it, came over to see you, that they were your friends."
"Nope, that is big lie of theirs, as I don't even know who the hell they are, but I also know I don't want to be friends with them either. They are weird for sure around me, especially Edward boy. Just like Jacob is still to this day around me for sure."
At that Charlie gapped, and said nothing and Sam and Jared both were incensed of what she had said so far, and were growling under their breaths, but her thighs now touching theirs' with more force, made them stop for now. Charlie said
"Why did you say that about Jacob, he is great boy?"
"He might be, but he is not my friend, dad and besides that silly crush he has on me, is just that silly and stupid, he should grow up and move on already, for I won't be with him in that way, as I am not even ready for such thing to happen, and if it was to be, I much rather be with a real man than a child."
Charlie just gapped like Sam and Jared did now with what she said, and he just shook his head and said
"Well if you just gave him a shot maybe-"
"No I won't date him or any of your other choices for me, for I can choose myself who I am going to date, and it won't be a child or whatever else. I want to find love on my own, and finally I won't become you and mother either. I don't want to be a teenage bride or mother, dad. And since the rape, I have been on the pill for I don't want to be a mother yet."
At that Charlie just gapped but kept quiet, and then Bella shook her head, and said
"Hey Sam, Jared, I thought you were going to show me around the reservation earlier before we came here."
And with that, the two mentioned nodded, and said that we did, and before Charlie could say another word or stop them, they were off back to La Push reservation. For not only were the two going to do that, but also let her meet the others of the Elders and let them know what happened today. Bella's story could be told if she wanted to let them know of course.
