Wednesday walked to Tyler's house, climbing up the drainpipe that led to his window. His window was open. "Hello, Tyler," said Wednesday softly.
She climbed into the bedroom, sitting down on his bed. She motioned to him to sit beside her.
The Hyde dipped his head, sitting beside Wednesday.
I never forgot you, Wednesday, telepathised Tyler. All I wanted was you. I couldn't let go of those feelings. I'm sorry, Wednesday.
Wednesday sighed. "I forgive you," she said quietly. "For everything. For all your crimes, for everything. Because I thought love was for the weak. But neither of us are weak, and I realised... I realised when you tried to attack me in the forest, you hesitated. You loved me. You saved me from Rowan, as well. And I can't thank you enough for saving me from that heartless bitch. Tyler, when I kissed you, I thought it was a moment of weakness. I looked back on it, and I thought, maybe we were meant to be. You're my type. I know it. I could feel it in my bones. Xavier's not the one. You are."
Wednesday, say it.
"Fine. I think I might be developing feelings for you, Tyler Galpin."
"Excellent," spoke an ethereal voice. They turned.
Mom, telepathised Tyler.
"You're one step closer to breaking the spell," spoke the ghost of Tyler's mother. "If you can both learn to love each other, then the spell will be broken. Good luck, Addams. May the odds be ever in your favour."
Wednesday looked at The Hyde. She then looked at her phone. "Xavier wants me. I'll be back, Tyler, I promise."
The Hyde let out a small whine. Wednesday patted him on his blue hair. "If anything happens to you, I'll protect you," she whispered.
She then stood up, walking over to the window and climbing down the pipe, she began her journey home.
