Xavier grinned at Wednesday, tying her up in her private torture chamber in her room. Wednesday looked at him, her face contorted into a snarl, clearly not happy with her former friend. "What are you going to do?" she asked.
"Get you out of the way and kill Tyler Galpin." snapped Xavier. "He did some unforgivable things I can't forgive him for and he also tried to kill you."
"Get over it, Thorpe!" cried Wednesday. "That was in the past. Tyler and I are starting to fall in love again. And I'll always escape. Tyler knew that. He said I was like a cockroach. You know me by now. We were friends. Best friends when we were kids."
"When we were kids." said Xavier. "Not now. I couldn't help but fall in love. But you fall in love with that dumb-ass monster. He's manipulative."
"He's changed!" cried Wednesday. "I swear! He's changed!"
"What do you see in Tyler? He's a nasty piece of work!"
"I see a scared boy in a Hyde's body who wants to be loved!"
"Shit, Wednesday," said Xavier. "He's the most manipulative bastard I've ever known."
Xavier walked out of her room. Wednesday looked longingly at him. Then, she reached down into her right shoe and pulled out her pocket knife. She freed herself from the binds.
Xavier walked to Tyler's house. The Hyde was looking longingly at the window, patiently waiting for Wednesday to arrive. But when Xavier came through the window, The Hyde leapt into action. He leapt onto Xavier, the 2 boys fighting. Xavier had the upper hand, stabbing the young Hyde in his abdomen. He roared, slashing Xavier across his chest shallowly. Xavier let out a cry of pain. He stood up, grabbing The Hyde and held a knife to his throat. Blood was already oozing from his wound.
"She'll never find us!" laughed Xavier. "I tied her up."
"Wrong!" cried a voice from behind. Xavier turned.
"Wednesday," said Xavier. "How wonderful to see you."
Wen! communicated Tyler to Wednesday. You came back!
Wednesday flashed a quick grin at him. "Let Tyler go." snarled Wednesday. "Now."
"Never!" cried Xavier. "You're mine, Addams."
Xavier wrenched the knife deep into The Hyde's abdomen. The Hyde let out a roar, slashing Xavier again across his chest. They began to fight, Wednesday watching from the sidelines.
The Hyde held Xavier by the throat, strangling him. As Xavier began to go purple, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a pistol. He shot The Hyde in his chest. The Hyde roared, letting go of Xavier, both boys falling backwards. Xavier was bleeding out, The Hyde was on the floor, bleeding out as well. Blood oozed from his heart. Wednesday walked over to Xavier. "Goodbye, Xavier," she said, snapping his neck. Xavier lay dead on the floor, his eyes staring into the ceiling for eternity. She then ran back to The Hyde, his bloodshot, yellow eyes looking into her brown eyes.
He lifted his claw weakly, stroking her face with elegance and grace. He was coughing up blood. Wednesday was sobbing, as the light faded from his eyes. He was still.
"NO!" cried Wednesday, her heart tearing into two. "Tyler, look at me! No, No, No! Not now!"
Blood continued to ooze from his wounds. She wiped her eyes, thinking back to when she was 10, and what happened with Nero. She saw the ghost of Tyler's mother floating around somewhere, but she wasn't doing anything. "Of course!" breathed Wednesday. "Love."
She pressed her lips against his forehead, a single teardrop splashing onto his cheek. "I love you, Tyler Galpin," she whispered.
As Tyler's mother flew into The Hyde, a soft white light wove around her and The Hyde, lifting the corpse into the air, changing The Hyde into a muscular, fair-skinned boy with golden brown hair and green eyes, bringing him back to life. Tyler lay on his side, his wounds closed up. She walked over, shaking him, feeling his pulse. He had a steady heartbeat. Tyler turned over, his eyes open, grinning up at her. She slapped him across the face. "Don't do that!" she snapped. "I knew you were alive, but you didn't even give me a sign."
Tyler sighed. "Sorry, Wen," he said.
He sat up, surging forward to kiss her. Wednesday recoiled a little, then kissed him gently. "I love you, Wednesday," he said softly, hugging her. Wednesday smiled, returning the hug.
"You never hug," said Tyler.
"I hug who I call 'Friends'," replied Wednesday monotonously. "Xavier betrayed me. What shall we do with the stupid git's body?"
"Burn it," said Tyler.
"I wonder if your Hyde is now under control?" asked Wednesday.
"It is," said Francoise. "Congratulations, Wednesday. I knew you could help my son."
Tyler smiled. He kissed Wednesday again, and holding hands, they walked downstairs.
Tyler raised his hand to the living room and knocked. "Come in!" called a weary voice. Tyler gently opened the door. "Dad, it's me," he said.
Sheriff Galpin looked at his son in shock. "But... but you were cursed!"
"Yes," said Tyler honestly. "I was. But Wednesday saved me. We may have accidentally-on-purpose killed my killer, Xavier Thorpe. His body is in my room. What do we do with it?"
"Give it to Vincent Thorpe," said Sheriff Galpin. "I'll email him and tell him that his son got what he deserved."
"As for us," said Tyler. "Wednesday and I will begin dating again."
Sheriff Galpin nodded. "And we are going out," continued Tyler.
"But first," said Wednesday. "We need to tell my parents."
