Chapter 10

When Grayfia Lucifuge woke up that morning and was asked by the Lord and Lady of the Gremory devil household, as well as their son and her master the current Lucifer Maou of the devil faction, to come to the human world and act as the peacekeeper between Raiser Phenex and Rias Gremory, she had no idea that she later on that day she would meet the Creator, the mysterious creator of the YoRHa androids and CEO of the Maelstrom Automata, in person.

As someone who accepted and welcomed the usages of the YoRHa in the daily activities and jobs, being colleagues and even good friend with several android maids who worked for the Gremory devil household, like most people around the world Grayfia had always wanted to meet the man who was behind their creations, the androids with thoughts and feelings of their own as if they themselves were an independent species. She did not need to constantly listen to Ajuka Beelzebub and his praises for the Creator, or know a lot about AI technology, which was actually had very little knowledge about, to know that he had done the unthinkable, and shifted the whole world, every world, in the direction of advanced technology in just a few short years with his androids and company.

Grayfia had had a couple of theories about him herself, which she mostly shared with her android friends who she enjoyed hanging out with and talking to whenever they had something to work together on her day-offs. At one point, the silver haired maid believed that the Creator was a single person, an old and wise man who had spent decades studying AI to have the knowledge to bring to life the YoRHa.

But at another, she had taken the wild guess that the Creator was a title shared by a group of people, because there was no way that a single man could have done it all by himself, creating the YoRHa androids and building an empire of advanced technology in the form of the multinational industrial company, Maelstrom Automata, the largest tech conglomerate in the world.

Yet, there she was, serving a cup of tea to him and trying to be polite by not openly staring at him, who called himself Naruto Uzumaki, the Creator, as he sat on the couch in the clubroom of Rias Gremory at Kuoh academy, having arrived a moment earlier via teleportation magic circle after he had revealed his identity to them all.

Sitting beside him was one of his androids, who had arrived with him earlier and called herself White. She had yet to speak a word to anyone but her master since the moment she got there with him, but Grayfia could vaguely guess that White was a unique assistant model.

Meanwhile, 2B, the female android with white hair, was standing behind her creator. It was quite clear to Grayfia that she was a brand new combat model android, one that the world had never seen or heard of before.

"You know. You can stare if you want, Grayfia-san. I don't mind being gazed at by a woman as stunning as you are."

Naruto suddenly spoke up with a charming smile that he directed at Grayfia, but the silver haired maid only responded to him with a blank stare, despite inwardly feeling surprised by the fact that he had noticed her sneaking curious glances at him from the start even though she had actively tried to hide it out of politeness.

Shrugging his shoulders, the blond then added with a casual air about him while continuing to pleasantly enjoy the cup of tea that she had brewed for him and everyone in the clubroom, "Plus, I know that I am also quite handsome and…"

"I do not think now is the time, master." White spoke up nonchalantly, stopping Naruto from finishing his speech.

"Right. By the way, Grayfia, are you single?"

"…?"
"I will take that as a yes then."

"Master."

The blond chuckled in amusement at White's second warning before turning his attention over to Rias and Raiser, both of whom were sitting across from him on the Victorian styled couch on the other side of the table. Even someone who had no idea what was going on like him could tell that his devil contractor did not like the one sitting next to her one bit, as she was trying to sit as far away from him as possible.

"So anyway, allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I am the creator of the YoRHa androids and founder of Maelstrom Automata Corporation." The blond then reintroduced himself with a smile after he had put his tea cup down the table before him "And in case any of you here are wondering, yes. I am older than I look. The secret to my youthfulness is my diet and a healthy lifestyle."

"It is an honor, Naruto-sama." Raiser spoke up before Rias could say anything, lowering his head formally and respectfully to the man sitting in front of him "My name is Raiser Phenex, the third son of the Phenex pureblood devil household, and Rias Gremory's fiancé."

The statement caused Naruto to raise an eyebrow in surprise and looked over to Rias, trying his best to hold in his laughter when he saw her face morphing into a look of barely containing displeasure.

"Well, I will be damned. The lad here is your fiancé, Rias? Why did you not tell me that you have a fiancé?"

Naruto asked in surprise before turning his attention over to Rias, who gave him a forced smile as she answered his question for her.

"You never ask, Naruto-san."

Naruto nodded with a small grin, although he could not help but feel that she had wanted to give him a different answer, but did not because of the firm look Grayfia had given her while standing on the side, something that Naruto had noticed.

"I guess you do have a point there." Naruto said before uncrossing his legs and reaching his hand out to offer his hand to Raiser "Well, nice to meet you then, Rias' fiancé. I hope that my sudden, unannounced arrival did not interfere with any important business of yours."

"Ah, of course, sir." Raiser nodded his head before quickly reaching his own hand out to shake hand with Naruto. "And please, you do not have to worry about anything. Rias and I were just discussing our future together, that is all."

"I see. Is it unreasonable for me to hope for an invitation letter though?"

"Definitely not, sir. It would be my honor to have you attend…"

"Stop trying to take advantage of the situation, Raiser." Rias snapped in frustration, seemingly having enough of the situation as she interrupted her fiancé and stopped him from finishing his answer.

Grayfia immediately stepped forward to stop Rias before she could start another argument and make herself look bad in front of their guests, but Naruto had already raised his hand and made a signal for her to stop with an amused smile on his face, making the silver haired maid look at him in surprise.

"I have told you before and I am not going to say it again. I am not going to marry you."

"Rias, now is not the time and place to be unreasonable and…"

"No. My apology, Naruto-san." Rias quickly apologized to Naruto, not waiting for him to give any form of response to turn her head back to look at Raiser, who was giving her a warning look. "But I will not just sit still while 'my fiancé' says whatever he wants, acting like I am going to marry him tomorrow when everything I have been trying to do since the moment he stepped foot here in my clubroom is calling off this engagement. I will marry whoever I want, and not the person that my family chose for me."

"Not to mention that you have threatened to harm my servants, Raiser, and as I have told you, I will not allow it to go unpunished."

Rias finished angrily before taking a deep breath, leaving the entire clubroom in silence as they all looked at her. Raiser looked quite worried as he sat there and looked up at Rias while gritting his teeth silently in frustration.

"Well, that was really something."

Finally, after a long moment of uncomfortable silence, Naruto broke it by speaking up with a light, amused chuckle, reaching his hand out to pick up his cup as Rias and everyone else in the room but his androids turned their heads to look at him.

"It seems leaving my house to come here has been the best decision that I have made yet these past few days." The blond praised himself before looking over to Raiser, who was trying his best to not show how angry he was with his face and speaking to him "And before you start overthinking it, I am not mad or thinking badly of you or your race just because of a reasonable outburst of a teenage girl, young man. Everyone has their moments, even I cannot hold myself back from acting on emotions when I am stressed sometimes."

"And I take that you guys were not having a meeting to discuss your future together and prepare for the wedding, but a conflict resolution to decide if Rias is gonna have to marry Raiser or not, am I correct?" Naruto asked, looking over to Grayfia and expecting from her a simple answer. When the maid nodded her head to him, the blond let out another amused chuckle as he said "Sorry for my bluntness but wow, we are in the 21st century where the whole world is pursuing artificial intelligences and advanced technology because of my androids and you guys are still deciding the future of your children and your households through planned marriages like the old time? But hey, I am not judging. You do yours and I think I am smart enough to know that it's not my place to try to interfere with your private affairs."

"It is for the best of our future, Naruto-sama."

"Your future, Raiser. You care for no one but yourself." Rias snorted mockingly at Raiser with a roll of her eyes, making the blond Phenex scoff quietly under his breath.

"Rias-sama, may I suggest you and Raiser-sama settle your dispute with a Rating Game match?" Grayfia suddenly asked, making Raiser and Rias look at her in surprise "This is a solution your brother and the representatives of both families have agreed upon should you still insist on canceling your engagement with Raiser-sama. If you win, then the engagement between the two will be nullified, but if Raiser-sama defeat you in battle, then the wedding will proceed as planned"

Rias' eyes narrowed in displeasure before stating confidently while looking at Raiser "To even resort to such an alternative… But this is my chance to regain my freedom. I as well will take the pleasure to blow you away, Raiser!"

"Confident, aren't you my dear Rias?" Raiser smirked, "Sure then, this is a good opportunity to show you that there is nothing you can do but comply to be my wife, Rias… so I'll take the pleasure to show you and your servants your place." The Phenex finished with a voice with full confidence.

"Wow, you sure are looking forward to beating up the girl who might be your future wife and those she treasures as her own family, aren't you?" Naruto asked with a snort, making Raiser widen his eyes in surprise "I might not be in a stable relationship for a long time now, but I know that it's not how you are supposed to talk to your fiancé. Will the two families continue to support this marriage if they know you are saying that?"

"It seems you have misunderstood the words I said, Naruto-sama, I only…"

"And also, correct me if I am wrong, but those girls are your peerage, right?" Naruto interrupted him with a small smile, gesturing his head to the group of girls standing behind their master "Rias told me about your Rating Game. She's quite passionate about it… but anyway, if this decision goes through then it will be a match of 15 against 6, two of whom are recently reincarnated devils. I find that hardly a fair fight when the objective is to eliminate the Kings."

"I must admit, you are not wrong there, Naruto-sama." Raiser nodded his head and answered him "Rias has no chance to win against me, a genius in the Rating Game, with only this many servants. Only her Queen can stand a chance against my cute servants, and that is not even counting Xuelan, my android!"

"Ah yes. I take that she's a combat model?" Naruto asked, and Raiser nodded his head in confirmation while glancing proudly over to Xuelan as Naruto looked over to 2B and asked her "2B, how about you give Xuelan a scan and tell me your analyst based on your own experiences with Rias and her peerage? Crane up the strength they have shown while sparring with you like three times and tell me how much chance do they have against her alone now?"

"Understood, master."

Nodding her head, 2B did just that with both eyes emitting a faint glow as she looked at Xuelan and scanned her while her system did the calculation. Around the room, everyone looked at 2B and waited patiently for the android to give her Creator her answer, with the only exception being Rias, who knew that deep down her servants barely had a chance against Raiser's devil servants, let alone the combat android whose strength had been proven in the matches that Raiser had had in the past.

"Xuelan, fifth generation combat YoRHa android, Model type – X31211. Chance to defeat Kiba Yuuto in a fight, 47.3%; Chance to defeat Koneko Toujou, 58.2%, Asia Argento and Issei Hyoudou, 99.2%; and chance to defeat Akeno Himejima is 32.5%." 2B finished, causing a heavy atmosphere to fall upon Rias and her servants as their shoulders dropped while Raiser smirked triumphantly. It was just as he had stated earlier. Only Akeno really stood a chance against his servants, but there was no way that she could have defeated them all by herself.

"So not 100%? I like those odds, considering that 2B knows very little about you guys save for what you have shown her." Naruto chuckled as he turned back to Rias and looked at her in encouragement, which the crimson haired heiress could only response with a forced smile on her own before looking over to Grayfia to tell her "I take that your master will give Rias some time to prepare to make up for the handicap, am I right?"

"Yes, since this is Rias-sama's first Rating Game, she will be given some time to prepare for the match." Grayfia nodded her head and answered him, making Naruto look at Raiser in expectant.

"I believe 2 weeks should be reasonable enough." Raiser stated confidently "10 days should be more than enough time for Rias to get her servants ready for the match."

Rias's eyes widened and narrowed in anger. "You say that I and my peerage are too weak?"

"You know well that I am an expert in Rating Games, my dear Rias… And let me tell you, Rating Game is not something that can be won with your feelings alone." Raiser spoke to her, before looking over to Naruto, asking him after having the idea come to him "Naruto-sama, it would be my greatest honor if you come and watch our match with your androids?"

"Huh? Can I really?" Naruto asked in mild surprise, having an amused smile on his face as he looked between Rias and Raiser "I mean… I would be lying if I say that I am not interested in this Rating Game thing you guys are playing, but shouldn't yours be a private affair? As I said earlier, I am merely an outsider."

"Yes, but even if it is merely an unofficial match, there won't be any greater honor for us than to be the ones who introduced you to Rating Game and show you how it is played. I am sure that you would like to see the games that your androids have been playing with their devil masters and fellow members of their peerages." Raiser reasoned before continuing with a confident smile "Even if it will be a one sided match."

"You sure are confident, Raiser." Rias scoffed while narrowing her eyes at the Phenex "Fine. In 10 days, we will have that match, and I am gonna show you our powers."

Grayfia took a moment to glance at both Rias and Raiser, then she announced, "I see, very well. I have confirmed that you both have agreed to this alternative, thus I shall inform lord Lucifer and both of your respective households about it."

"And you, Naruto-sama?"

"I mean… my schedule is wide open. But sure, I will be there to watch your game."

Naruto answered with a grin, making the smile on Raiser's face spread out in satisfaction. Even Rias had a similar smile of her own, knowing deep down that it would be good for the relationship between them, the Devil Faction and the Creator himself.

With that, Naruto then turned to look at Rias and asked her with a curious look, "So Rias, I take that you won't be able to come over to my house to hang out with my androids for a few more days? They kinda miss you and your servants already, you know?"

"I am very sorry for not coming the past few days, Naruto-san." Rias answered apologetically with a bow of her head, her eyes widening slightly when an idea came to her mind "And yes, I don't think I will be able to… unless of course…"

Naruto looked at the crimson haired girl in expectant, knowing exactly what she was able to ask him.

It looked like Kuroka was going to have to return to her old cell in his basement and stay there for a few days… unless of course, she wanted to meet her sister again.
