"Don't touch me you pervert…"
Maguro, and kind of Kujira, were in the middle of saying goodbye to Medaka Kurokami, who was wearing normal cute outdoor clothing and was packed up for a vacation, she was beyond excited and happy
"I promise to be safe while I'm away~"
Medaka hugs the two, a real and feel good hug, she was so eager and exhilarated that she ignored Naze's annoyance and only broke three of maguro ribs instead of all of them when he tried to be perverted, the hug only ended when a certain RV pulled up and a certain Zenkichi hitoyoshi waved at them
"Are you ready, Medaka-chan?"
Zenkichi wanted to make sure that his childhood friend was ready and prepared for the trip and summer vacation he had planned for them
"Coming!~"
Medaka gave one last quick hug to her siblings before rushing towards the RV, and said siblings could only watch with a sigh
"Are you really OK with letting the beast out of the cage and roam free?"
Naze disliked the idea of letting someone like the beautiful monster out and about in the real world outdoor
"It should be fine, Zenkichi is with her, and he has definitely earned my trust enough to do this."
Maguro shrugged carelessly, before suddenly hugging Youka from behind and squeezing her boobs in such a loving brother manner
"Now then, let's do some catching up, my dear sis-"
Kujira responded to Maguro's advancement by giving him the same injection that knocked him out when at the flask plan secret location, she then cleaned the needle after using it and walked back inside
"I wonder if my old research is still here."
Medaka walked up to the driver's window, which Zenkichi was sitting at, and just showed off her bright wide smile that she had on her face, which was enough to outshine the sun and moon
"I recognize this vehicle, I'm guessing Hitomi Hitoyoshi let you borrow it for the entirety of summer break?~"
Hitoyoshi couldn't help but chuckle when he saw Medaka could barely contain her overjoyed feeling for the trip
"Mhm, though Mom expects souvenirs and postcards as payment for borrowing this RV."
Zenkichi scratches his cheeks sheepishly as he remembers the conversation and convincing he had to do to get the vehicle
"Then we better get started if that's the case!~"
Medaka had a very happy bounce in her steps as she ran around the RV and was about to open the door to the passenger seat, however was suddenly stopped when the window was rolled down and revealed the face of a very smug Hansode Shirauni
"Get in the back Miss President, I already called shotgun~"
Hansode arrogantly giggled as she took a big bite of a donut she had, Kurokami was honestly surprised to see her here
"Oh, I hope you don't mind me inviting Shiranui with us, since she's my friend, I thought it would be rude of me to not include her in our trip."
Zenkichi quickly explained and cleared up any misunderstanding about why the hungry loli was here
"And what about Akune and Kikaijima? Aren't they also our friends?"
Medaka tilted her head in slight confusion, if the cute hunger was here because she was a friend, she didn't see why he didn't invite the others from the student council
"Well I tried to, but Akune already had plans on what he wanted to do in his summer break, and Kikaijima wanted to spend more time with Yakushima and Tanegashima, and hopefully make lots of money together."
Zenkichi did considered the idea of inviting more people, though it seemed others had different plans on what they wanted to do for summer break
"I see… Well I guess that's fine, I hope we have fun together, Shiranui?"
Medaka couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed that it wasn't just her and her childhood friend, but she wasn't selfish enough to not include more friends in this trip, besides she was still excited about what they all could do together on this vacation
"Yeah yeah, get in the back Heyday~"
Hansode had an air of superiority, just because she was sitting in shotgun, which made the beautiful monster pout, but said nothing as she slowly walked into the RV from the side and sat in the back, which was quite far away from the front seat people
"Well, where should our first stop be today?~"
Zenkichi started to drive off, though he asked the two girls where to go, which definitely uplifts the mood of the lovely abnormal and quickly pulls out a bunch of maps, lists and pictures of random locations
"OH! I actually did some research and asked my siblings where we should visit first, they gave a lot of helpful suggestions and great ideas, well kind of, but, they shared this one location that I think would be great to-"
"Let's go to the 'Food Festival', I heard that it just opened downtown today!~"
Before Medaka could give any answer after such a long explanation, Hansode quickly interrupted her by shouting her own idea of destination, this sudden interruption was enough to make Kurokami's eyes twitch in slight annoyance and was about to say something about it
"Sounds like fun Shiranui."
However with Zenkichi agreeing to such an idea and immediately started to drive off in the direction of what the hungry loli suggested, Miss Heyday couldn't help but stay silent and say nothing about her objections to the idea
'Well… I guess it's not a bad start to our vacation, as long as we have fun together, that's all that matters in the end I suppose.'
Medaka will admit that things weren't going exactly as she had in mind, but it didn't bother her too much, putting her happy smile back on again and she was very excited to spend a lot of time with her childhood friend during this entire trip… Unfortunately, as soon as they arrived at the so called 'Food Festival' destination, all of the Abnormal President hopes and dreams were quickly forgotten and ignored by a certain little cute hunger
"Hey Zenkichi-Kun, I actually did research of this place and I think we should go to-"
"Let's Visit The Eating Contest Zenkichi!~"
"Um, so Zenkichi-Kun, do you think we can do a-"
"Look Zenkichi! A All You Can Eat Food Court!~"
"Zenkichi-Kun, I, well, maybe we-"
"Oh Wow! A Food Plushie That You Can Actually Eat Zenkichi, Buy It For Me!~"
"... Zen-"
"ZENKICHI!~"
No matter how hard Medaka tried in even offering an idea of what they could do together, she was always immediately interrupted and overshadowed by Hansode once again, who not only wanted to do things that she personally wanted, which will always involve food, but was also stealing Hitoyoshi away from her, resulting in making him unintentionally ignore her and only focus on Shiranui, usually Kurokami wouldn't have mind it, as she always values the needs of others before her own, but, that didn't mean she also doesn't have any needs to begin with, and sadly, such needs were never met, and all she could do was remain as the third wheel for the two that she called friends, or at least one of them, who also seemed to barely even notice how upset she was about this whole thing
"Wow Zenkichi, I Had So Much Fun With You!~"
"Heh, I'm glad you did, now let's go back to the RV to sleep, it's already getting late."
Zenkichi just smiled very kindly at Hansode, who was carrying a bunch of boxes and bags of food, drinks and plushies that looked like foods and drinks, to which she did not hesitate to take a big bite out of either one of them, the two seemed to have had a very good time together, both were glad to have spent such a wonderful time together, and did so much fun things that made each other happy in the process, it was a nice night for everyone
'He didn't even realize that I had stopped following…'
Well, not everyone, as Medaka could be seen standing alone on top of a random roof, looking down at Hitoyoshi and Shiranui, who didn't notice her while walking away from the area, she was wearing an uncharacteristically neutral expression as she watched them leave, once they were out of sight, she simply jumped off and landed gracefully back on the ground, before walking in the opposite direction of her friends and the RV
'Is this what it feels like when friends move on from one another?...'
Medaka then clenched her chest, as tears threatened to leave her eyes and fall down her cheeks
'It hurts, it hurts very badly…'
Medaka then opened her eyes wide as she suddenly remembered something

"Hell No! I'm done letting her boss me around!"
"I am never joining the student council!"
"But that doesn't mean you can make me help you!"
"You always do that... When something goes wrong, you take me down with you."
"You never stop to consider how much trouble you make for me."
"Honestly, I've had enough…"

'I guess he was serious when he said he wanted nothing to do with me anymore…'
Medaka soon found herself near a bridge, leaning and gripping onto the metal railing, which bent and broke due to her immense strength, she was trying her very best not to break down into full on sobbing
'B-But why?...'
Medaka shut her eyes tightly, but no matter how hard she tried, the tears just flowed out of the corner of her eyes and fell down her cheeks
'We've been through so much together, why suddenly abandon me now?...'
Medaka whimperd as she felt her heart started to break, and her emotions were stirring up so wildly that her hair threatened to turn into a specific shade of red
"I-I just don't understand…"
Before Medaka could fully shatter emotionally, and probably physically, her saddened thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of cars and talking, she opened her tear filled eyes and looked down below at the bridge, as she saw two vehicles pulling up to one another, one being a large 8 wheeler truck that seemed to be containing and releasing a whole bunch of unusual brain like creatures, and the 2nd being a green like car, which had a trailer behind the vehicle that seemed to be carrying a large cargo behind it, and said driver that was pulling the package was seemingly a normal looking human, who might be even around Kurokami age, and when he got out of the car, he was shown to be wearing a black shirt with gray sleeves, blue jeans, black hair and had a expression that lets everyone knows that he wasn't your average normal man and knew a lot that others don't
"You got the money?"
The young man asked the group of brain creatures, to which they made weird squirmy sounds in response as one of them walked up to him and opened a suitcase and revealed very precious and no doubt very valuable items that seemed to be worth a lot, at least judging by the man's expression
"Now you speak my language~"
The man smirks as he turns around and starts to unload everything in the trailer and pull the cargo to the group, once he places it before them, he opens one of them up and pulls out some kind of unknown piece of technology that was even unfamiliar to Kurokami
"As promised, four dozen factory-new laser lances, ether-point energy module, antenna-focus emitter, it's good for 35 minutes of continuous fire at .06 terawatts."
The man then aimed the advanced technology at a random object in the area and shot at it with a very bright red laser, after a bit of continual fire, said item quickly exploded in a giant ball of fire, which made Kurokami flinch and grimace at such a sight
"So what do you think?"
The man looks back at the brain creature with a smug smirk, they squabble and screech at one another before giving him the briefcase, which made him smile even greater than he already had.
"Pleasure doing business with you~"
As the man and the squad of unknown organisms continue with their trade in weapons and payment, Kurokami couldn't help but watch the entire thing with an unsure expression
"Is this legal? I need to ask Unzen of the Public Morals Committee when I get back to school…"
Before Medaka could question the legal consequences of these kind of dealing situations that she was witnessing, she couldn't help but suddenly notice one of the brain creatures aiming their new weapons that they were given at the back of the head of the man that gave them such weapons, which made her go wide eyes in horror and wasted no time shouting out towards
"LOOK OUT!"
Luckily the worried shouts of Medaka was just enough to warn the man, who was able to turn around in confusion before narrowly dodging a red laser, unfortunately, even if he was completely unharmed from such a back stabbing sneak attack, the hood of his green car was completely blown off, turning the vehicle into a convertible, much to the dismay of the car owner
"MY CAR!"
The man angrily glares at the group of brain creatures, who all started to aim their weapons at him and were about to shoot him again, though before anyone could do anything, a certain Beautiful Monster, who was now full on 'War God Mode', jumped off the bridge and brutally slammed down on top of one of freaking life form, much to everyone's surprise, clearly no one expected to see someone like her to interrupt what they were doing, to which she used their confusion to her advantage and dashed towards them and knocking away those that were unfortunately in her way, once the brain creature saw that she was a threat to them, they wasted no shooting at her, with either their new laser weapons or some kind of sticky yellow brown sludge that came out of their tendril mouth, sadly for them however, she was able to automatically dodge and avoid every single shot they attempted to make on her, as she then quickly close the gap between her and them, she did not hesitate to absolutely beat down every single brain creature she was able to get hands on, and due to being in a mode that remove almost all reasoning, as well as feeling very stressed from the type of day she was having, she did not show any kind of mercy at all to any of them, harshly taking down every single gross organism in such cruel fashion, all of them until only one remains, to which Kurokami glares at with such a monstrous expression, which absolutely terrified the last brain creature and was about to run, but stopped when it noticed the man, that they try to kill, stand before them, a moment of confusion befall it before being punched hard in the face, knocking it down and out cold, after all that chaos was done and over with, silence was once again brought back as him and Miss Heyday looked at one another, saying nothing to each other of a bit at they just stare each other down for a few seconds or so
"... I had everything under control, I didn't need your help."
He huffs as he crosses his arms and narrows his gaze toward her, to which she lets out a small sigh and starts to calm down
"I apologize, I just didn't want to see you hurt, that's all…"
Once Medaka relaxed enough to let her hair return to normal, the young man couldn't help but suddenly realize the beauty that is Kurokami, not only that, hearing her worry for his safety, he couldn't help but feel his cheeks heat up slightly
"A-Ah, well, even if I didn't need it, I greatly appreciate it either way, heh…"
He quickly reassures her and show gratitude for having her save his life, though he was attempting to act cool and tough about it while embarrassingly avoiding eye contact, which made her smile and nod in response
"Well, I'm glad you're safe, now if you please excuse me, I must depart before it gets too late."
Medaka quickly bowed politely before turning around and starting to walk away, not wishing to cause him any more trouble, while also knowing that she needed to return to her friends
"W-Wait!"
However she was quickly stopped by the man she saved, turning back to look at him, watching him fluster a bit and trying to act cool and calm
"Can I get your name?"
After having his head back in the game, he decided to start off small when trying to talk to her, plus he was genuinely curious about who she was
"Medaka Kurokami, and you?"
Medaka kindly replied and answered his question, while also asking her own about his name, as if she were equally interested in knowing who he was
"I'm Kevin Ethan Levin."
The young man, now known as Kevin, steps aside and then open the passage door of his car and gestures for her to come in
"And, um, would you like me to drive you back to where you need to go?"
After Kevin made his offer, Medaka just stares at him for a bit longer, taking a moment to process what he said and debating whether what she was about to say or do was an appropriate idea or not
"... Ok."
Oh my, Kevin is definitely gonna be a bad influence for Medaka Kurokami, hehe~
