Here is chapter three, now this one was fun to write you will see what I mean. Ok enjoy the story.

Chapter 3

The big race

Grace you are not going to win. Draco said as he was pulling ahead of Grace, or so he thought.

Oh no, you are not. Grace said as she landed on top of him.

Hey that isn't fair. Draco said while struggling to get her off his back.

You didn't say I had to play nice. Grace said laughing at her prey. She grabbed a hold of him and then threw him down.

That is CHEATING Grace. Draco said as he pulled out of the dive and then try to run into her, but missed.

Ha you missed. Grace said when she jumped on him again, but this time she knocked him out of the sky.

You are in for it now. Draco said as he landed on a tree, this time he got the drop on her, but he didn't do much.

Nice try Draco, but you will have to better than that if you want to win. Grace said this as she grabbed his tail and used it to throw him again.

Hey I will get you for that. Draco said as he pulled out of dive Grace threw him in, he grabbed her tail and threw her, but this time he managed to pull it off this time.

Hey that hurt. Grace said as she hit a tree. Oh you are going to so pay for that.

Oh really catch me if you can. Draco said as he was now a couple 100 feet in front of her.

Oh I will, you can count on it. Grace said with a lot of excitement and joy, it has been a very long times sense their last race.

There is no way you are beating me, No! He said from 100 feet above her.

Where are you? Grace asked him.

HERE I AM. He yelled as landed on her, it was her turn to be thrown away now.

HEY THAT HURT. Grace said as she saw the ground coming closer due to Draco being on top of her.

This is where the race ends for you. Draco said as he nipped her neck which made her loss control and fall, but not from very high.

Hey don't make me start biting you too. Grace said as she landed hard onto the ground, with Draco still in the sky.

I don't think so I see at the end of our little race, and sorry it looks like I am going to win this time. Draco said proudly laughing at Grace for losing.

BOO! Grace said as she just hit him pretty hard, which him flying into the ground. Ha I WIN. Grace said as she landed on the plains to the north of the Spine.

Oh come ON I was SO CLOSE. Draco said walking to where Grace was laying down panting. I didn't expect that last attack. Draco said as he too lay down at her side, panting as well.

That was fun Draco, we have got to do that again. Grace said laughing at Draco.

I came so very close to beating you, and I thought that I had won. Draco said a little sad that he lost.

If I hadn't got up when I did you would have won, and if I had miss you again you would have won. Grace said proud that she beat him again.

But you never miss. Draco said

That is the point; you see when I said I would win. But you didn't listen to me. Grace said laughing again at Draco's shocked face.

I may be the strongest in our tribe, but you are the fastest. Draco said still a little mad that he lost again.

Thank you, but you came very close. Too close in fact. Grace said happy that he admits that she is better at races than he is.

Hey do you see those ruins over there. Draco said as he and Grace were getting up to fly over there.

They flew for a while before they saw the ruins of Carvahall.

What happened here? Grace asked him.

From the looks of it a very bloody fight happened here. Draco said with concern in his voice.

I thought that this land was free. Grace said very worried.

Well I guess we need to help the other dragon here make peace so she can help us save our land. Draco said with hope it would calm her down. Don't worry, I will protect you at all costs. Draco said with pride

Oh I am sure you will, but what we going to do. We don't what side to join; I don't want to be on the bad side. Grace said with a lot of worry in her voice.

Don't worry; let's go to The Great Forest. Maybe we will find answers to what is going on here. Draco said, after he said this Grace calmed down a little bit.

Ok, but can we rest a little before we go. Grace asked, already knew the answer

NO, if we stay here we could be attacked. We have to hurry and get to the Great Forest; we might find some Elves there. Draco said, but when he saw the sad look on her face he immediately said. I am sorry, I just don't want you hurt. I won't be able to stand to see you get tortured.

I know, let's hurry and get out of the open and into the Great Forest. Grace said.

WHAT, TWO MORE DRAGONS! Murtagh yelled at the scout. Are you sure?

Yes, the last time I saw them they were heading north along the Spine. The scout said hoping that Murtagh would spare his life.

I have got to tell the King. Murtagh said to Thorn.

Soldier, do you remember what color the dragons they were? Thorn asked him.

No sorry mighty Thorn. The soldier said.

We have to leave soon Murtagh, the King would loved to have two more dragons under his command. Thorn said to his rider.

Ok I want all you to stay here and finish working, so when I come back we can find these dragons and bring them to the King.

After Murtagh said that he got onto Thorn and they took off as fast as Thorn's wings could carry them to Uru'baen.

Just as Thorn got past the walls they felt Galbatorix reach into their minds.

WHAT ARE YOU DONING BACK HERE, YOU ARE NOT DONE WITH THE VARDEN. Galbatorix yelled at them.

Before you hurt us we have been told that there are two more dragons, At this Galbatorix was very shocked. Close to the Spine heading north to the Elves' Forest. Murtagh said hoping that he won't hurt them.

Very well come here we have much to talk about. Galbatorix said calmly.

Thank you master. Thorn and Murtagh said together.

Come on Draco we are almost there I see a small city in the forest. Grace said grateful that they can finally rest.

Ok, good I think we will be safe here. Draco said who was also grateful.

Just as they landed they were put to sleep by some sort of magic.
