Sup everyone. So glad that I had the chance to get back to writing and stuff over my vacation. The good news is that I'm pretty much back. Bad news is that I'm going back to work next week. The vacation is up. Time to get back to the grindstone.

Some females yes, I can agree, but at what point can someone live their life OUTSIDE of expectations!? Hinata became a Genin at 12/13, fought no less than 2 wars within the span of 10-11 years, currently in a third war and acting as a diplomat to another country. What makes you think that she wasn't either A betrothed as part of a political move -at which point YES, she would have remained a virgin until she was married- but that wasn't the case or B hasn't just had sex to relieve stress from the MULTIPLE life or death fights she's been in! It's unrealistic to expect that. Besides she slept with ONE GUY ONE! Rant over. If Hinata not being a virgin is your hill to die when it comes to stories go right ahead. Chapter 4: Devil in the Detail
Location: Of the Shores of Port City
Place: Naruto's Temporary Flag Ship
Time: Late Morning
The Delegation from Konoha and the Land of Fire was escorted up the plank to the Ship that had come out to the bay. It was slightly larger than the ship that had been their 'guard' or the other two patrolling ships. Hinata wasn't an idiot. She knew that when the ships were around them they were effectively prisoners. Sasuke was going to be joining her as well as an advisor from the Daimyo's court.
As they arrived on the ship Hinata looked at the duo who stood alone before them. A Blue haired woman and a blond-haired man. The man was wearing a white uniform that was similar to the woman with a kimono over his shoulder. Hinata would admit that the man was handsome. In fact, she would say that his looks were downright exotic. Aside from Tsunade, the fourth Hokage, members of the Yamanaka clan, and the people of Kumo, blonde hair was somewhat rare in the Elemental Nations. It was also in Hinata's opinion sexy as hell. Although it was not but a flight of fancy.
"Welcome to my Ship. I am The Fleet Lord of the Empire and Head of the Uzumaki Family and representing the Empire in our talks, Uzumaki Naruto," said Naruto.
"I will be Fleet Lord Uzumaki's Second. Northern Front General Esdeath Partas," said Esdeath.
Hinata nodded. "If we are going with full titles. Medical Division Jonin Under Commander, Heiress to the Hyuuga Clan, Hyugga Hinata," said Hinata
"Jonin of Konoha, Special Investigation Unit Commander, and head of Security for this mission, Heir to the Uchiha Clan Uchiha Sasuke," said Sasuke.
The Totte cleared his throat. " I have been assigned to act as Hyuuga-sama's council. Advisor to the Daimyo's Court. Suzuhara Yosuke," said Yosuke.
"Now that the introductions are out of the way please follow us to the conference room of the ship Lady Hyuuga, Lord Uchiha, Advisor Suzuhara," said Naruto.
"Of course, please lead the way Uzumaki-sama, Partas-sama," said Hinata.
"Sama? That word. Does it have any special meaning?" asked Esdeath.
"It is the equivalent of Lord and Lady in the Elemental Nations. It also conveys a sense of respect someone has for someone else," said Naruto as the door to the lower deck was opened.
"You know about it?" asked Sasuke raising an eyebrow.
"My clan hails from the Elemental Nations as do our two vessel clans. Of course, this was well before I was born, so I don't know anything about the elemental nations that I didn't hear from my Family. Once we arrived in the Empire, the Uzumaki clan quickly established itself as a fierce clan that specialized in water warfare and even earned the favor of the emperor of the time. The majority of my clan including my mother died when I was 18 in an invasion from the eastern seas now there are barely any of us left. Though being the sole male who can reproduce has its perks," said Naruto.
"Hentai," said Hinata making Naruto chuckle.
"Did you say Uzumaki Hyuuga-sama?" asked Suzuhara with a frown.
"She did. If you had been paying attention instead of writing in your notes," said Naruto.
"I thought it was a mere coincidence until you said that you hailed from the Elemental Nation," said Suzuhara.
"Suzuhara-san, now is not the time," said Sasuke as he looked at Naruto.
As a native user and Master of fire chakra Sasuke could feel when the fire was being gathered or focused. Sasuke saw two major sources of flames at the moment. Fire gathered around Naruto's sword, but an even stronger flame gathered in Naruto's body. The Fleet Lord was angry but was keeping his anger with his flames hidden well.
The bureaucrat ignored the younger man in favor of fixing a glare on Naruto. "Then you are subject to the Land of Fire's laws. The Land of Edding Tides was annexed into the Land of Fire after the Second Shinobi War and the subsequent disappearance of the people who lived there. The Daimyo at the time decreed that any surviving Uzumaki are subjects of the Land of Fire and are to report to Konoha or the Land of Fire Capital for processing and registration. As such you are a prisoner Under this law and must return to the Land of Fire with any living family left here," said the advisor.
Naruto raised a brow at this. "No. I'm an official of the Empire. Besides that, decree has no say over me," said Naruto.
"You insolent boy!" yelled Suzuhara.
"Suzuhara-san!" chastened Hinata.
Esdeath frowned. "Little man you have no power here, especially to order around a Lord of Naruto's stature. Power rules all in the Empire and you have none," said Esdeath
Naruto chuckled. "It's alright Esdeath. Suzuhara-san, My Great-Grandfather made the choice for the Uzumaki Clan to leave the Elemental Nations before this law was put into place. As we abandoned the Land of Edding Tides since the Land of Fire and the Shinobi of Konoha abandoned us first," said Naruto.
"That is a falsehood Uzumaki-sama. Konoha would never abandon its allies!" said Hinata.
Naruto chuckled. "I cannot confirm or deny that Lady Hinata as I am not from Konoha nor am I aware of its history. I can only go off of what was written in Uzumaki Arashi's Clan head journal,"
"Regardless of what is written, you are a citizen of the Land of Fire under the previous Daimyo of Fire's decree,"
"Before the law was put into place there isn't anything that would hold up in an international court that would make what is left of my family return to the Elemental Nations. You are here to talk about something other than my Status though," said Naruto.
"Still, you have to admit that your roots are based in the Elemental Nations. You are even a cousin clan of the Senju. And with only Senju Tsunade left for heart and being close to her, your blood could help revive the Senju Clan as a whole," said Sasuke.
"The Senju Clan may be our cousins, but my family has no desire to return to the Elemental Nation. With only four of us left I must think of their safety above all else," said Naruto.
Suzuhara growled before he put his hand on Naruto's shoulder, trying to spin him around and DEMAND he returns to breed with Senju Tsunade, only for him to jerk his hand back holding his blackened burned hand.
The Hyuuga Heiress's eyes widened as she looked at Naruto. "Fire chakra manipulation!? But I thought that people couldn't use Chakra outside of the Elemental Nation!"
Sasuke's hand went to his sword and Hinata was about to slide into the Swift Gentle fist. Saeko and Rangiku went to their own swords preparing to fight as well. Tension was building before Esdeath walked over to Suzuhara and iced over his hand. Hinata moved over and used her eyes to look at his hand.
She put her hands up focusing healing chakra into the man's hand. While it wouldn't be an instant fix, it would take some time to fully heal, but at least the pain would be relieved.
"You attacked a dignitary of another country! This is an act of war!" yelled the man.
"And you put your hand on a representative of the Empire unprompted! For that alone I could cut you down!" yelled Rangiku.
"Then we welcome the fight if you wish it," said Esdeath smirking.
"Lord Naruto is a warrior first and foremost. When someone acts as a threat to him, he will act in self-defense," said Saeko ready to cut down this man for touching her master.
Naruto grinned and rubbed the back of his head. "Let's all calm down. There's no need for us to get off on a bad foot,"
Hinata looked at Sasuke and nodded to the Uchiha. Sasuke dropped their stances. Sasuke's hand left his Ninjato and settled for crossing his arms over his chest. Naruto nodded to his own comrades who dropped their stances.
"You are of course correct Uzumaki-sama. I apologize on behalf of my advisor," said Hinata bowing to Naruto
"I too apologize. I dislike when people touch my shoulder. You could say that since I've learned to utilize fire the way I have it's become a bit too simple and easy for me to react," said Naruto as He looked (1)
"Please let us retreat to the meeting room. Nothing will get done if we stand out here all day. Oh, and you're invited to dine with us in two days... A Friday if I'm not mistaken. Your People are also allowed off the ship under supervision of course for a banquet in your honor. Proper dress attire," said Esdeath.
Hinata smiled. "That sounds lovely, but that is for the future. Today is about business," said Hinata.
Location: Offshore of Port City
Place: Loand of Fire Ship, Hinata's office
Time: Late evening
Hinata sat in her cabin aboard the ship with Sasuke standing on the far wall with his girlfriend, Haruno Sakura next to him. Also, in the room with them was Chunin Nara Shikamaru. The smartest person in their generation. He wasn't particularly built. In fact, Shikamaru could be considered skinny, with narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder-length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. a short goatee-beard combo reminiscent of his late Sensei, wearing a cream-colored coat under which are a green-lined mesh armor T-shirt, black cargo pants, and shinobi sandals.
The Nara clan were regarded as some of the smartest people in Konoha, their strategies had seen Konoha through several battles. Shikamaru was no exception. Always calm and a step ahead he was reliable to a fault Even if he was the embodiment of sloth itself.
"And that's everything that was talked about?" asked Shikamaru.
"Yes before during and after the meeting," said Hinata.
The meeting itself hadn't been anything too spectacular. Only hashing out a basic outline for an alliance. Of course, the alliance favored the Land of Fire, but the Fleet Lord and Northern General quickly saw through that and changed several terms. Or at least tried to. It was the typical back and forth of politics between the Court Scribe present and an adjudicator from the land of fire, both keeping the records for their respective homeland. All the details were not hashed out, but that was normally the case.
After the meeting nothing of significance happened except that Naruto had asked Hinata to accompany him for a drink which she declined, stating that she needed to speak with her people.
Shikamaru sighed in annoyance. "You should have accepted the drink,"
"I beg your pardon Nara-san?" said Hinata.
"Troublesome woman. Espionage 101 pretty women get things out of powerful men. If he asked you for a drink, then he's interested in more than-," started Shikamaru.
"Shika-kun that's not funny!" yelled Sakura.
"Who said I was joking?" asked Shikamaru.
Hinata glared. "I have no interest in laying on my back and acting like a whore!"
"You play the cards you're dealt. If the Fleet Lord wants to get into your pants let him. Aside from the fact that he might be a bad lay he's a wealth of information and I'm sure that you can drag it out of him," said Shikamaru.
"It's not that simple," said Sasuke catching their attention.
"Uchiha-san?" asked Hinata.
"He didn't ask you because he wanted to get into your panties. He asked you out of curiosity. Aside from that, I think he's also the most deadly person here. You remember the fire a few days ago?" asked Sasuke.
"How could we forget? It was unnatural. Something right out of the stories of old," said Sakura.
"The Fire lasted for 43 seconds, and was out in only 2 seconds," said Sasuke.
"Are you saying our new friend the Fleet Lord created that massive fire?" asked Hinata.
"Yes he created it, but I'm not 100 percent sure if that was the extent of his power. I didn't feel the flames until they were already in the process of being made. That means either he used all of his power to create and then put out the fire or he's so strong that just he's basically fire incarnate," said Sasuke.
"Let us hope for the former. What about the other one? Patras-sama?" asked Hinata.
"Ice user if I ever saw one. She's probably as strong as Naruto is. Those two are not paper generals, they are warriors and have no problem showing their might if need be," said Sasuke.
"Then we'd best keep their interest in us as allies and not enemies. Any word on the other teams?" asked Hinata.
Shikamaru nodded and pulled out a sheet of paper. "According to Anko-senpai they've already managed to establish contact with the Revolutionary Army, but that group is standoffish as hell. Her words, not mine. They're also only meeting on the shore for brief periods and only exchanging messages. Anko has even supplied them with Kunai launchers and our reversed-engineered Chakra armor... for a price. We've even managed to get our hands on one of those Tengu. All we know is that it's some type of belt that creates personal barriers. They called it worthless," said Shikamaru.
Hinata put a hand on her chin. "To give up something that could be considered a national treasure for weapons," said Hinata.
"We're playing a deadly game as it is. If the Empire ever caught wind of what we're doing started Sakura.
"This is why Anko-senpai and her group are in captured boats from Lighting country but wearing headbands from Stone. This is a high-level double cross we're playing and can't afford to be found out. Intercepting that boat as they were heading that way was pure luck. Now we have to make it count and get everything we can for it," said Shikamaru.
"That also means that we have to do things we may not want to," said Sasuke looking at Hinata.
Hinata got up from her seat and walked around the table. "Nara-san, Haruno-san leave us," said Hinata.
The duo looked at Sasuke and Hinata before doing as told. Once Alone Hinata lashed out and creaked Sasuke across the face with a harsh slap. Of course Sasuke saw it, but didn't bother to defend himself.
"Are you making fun of me Sasuke, because if you are," said Hinata leaving the thrat hanging?
Sasuke chukled. "For a minute I was scard that you were about to ask me for sex. Glad to see you still have fight in you Hyuuga," said Sasuke.
"As if I would consider sleeping with you. I'd sleep with old drunken bitch Tsunade before you ever crossed on my list,"
"Understood, but as I said before your going to have to do things you don't want to do. If that means spreading your legs and getting knocked up you'd better be ready to do it," said Sasuke.
Hinata bit her lip. "And betray my love for Shino-san," said Hinata.
"It's not betrayal. He did his duty, now you must do yours," said Sasuke.
Location: Port City
Place: Naruto's Hotel Room
Time: Late evening
Naruto sat at his desk doing some paperwork and writing a letter to Minato, Budo, and Honest. As much as he didn't want to to had to make sure that everyone was on the same page. Putting his official seal on it. Putting the letters in the envelopes he sighed as he leaned back, before turning in his chair and looking out of the window.
Grand Elemental War and a Delegation from the West? Revolutionary Army and their subjugation of the Southern parts of the Empire. The Subjugation of the Nothern Tribes. And the Eastern front was slowly but surely devolving into its own economic problems. All were because of Honest. Were he not Minato's greatest ally and confidence, Naruto would have killed him already. Not to mention that he couldn't get a beat on Hinata. He offered her a drink to see if she would take the obvious bait as him being another official who looked, a pretty woman. Well, he did like a pretty woman and had more than a few notches to his belt, but that wasn't the time or place. She was hiding a lot of information. It wasn't obvious at first but Naruto found her to do things like bite her lower lip or press her fingers together during clear signs of distress. Particularly when it came to the Revolutionary Army.
A person landing was only just audible to his ears. Were he anyone else this person would have been detected at all.
"Your late," said Naruto.
The figure chuckled before standing from her kneeling position. She was small and could easily go unnoticed if she wanted but her presence once you realized she was there was massive... Smaller than most of the females in the empire at 5'2", a slender and well-endowed woman, with long slender legs She has dark skin, golden irises, purple hair waist-length and kept in a ponytail with chin-length bangs framing the sides of her face, and a cat-like grin on her face. she wore a black, backless, sleeveless undershirt, an orange over-shirt with two white straps on each shoulder, a large beige sash around her waist, and black stretch pants with a pair of lightweight brown shoes and a sleeveless captain's haori.
The woman stretched her arms over her head before she took a seat on the edge of the desk. "Sorry I'm late Master, but moving around with those... what did they call themselves? Shinobi and Kunoichi? It was harder than you think. I think that Sasuke guy could keep up with me using just his eyes," said the woman.
Naruto sighed. "Your commander of the experimental Stealth Force. Only I'm aware of your existence and that could be considered treason if Esdeath, Budo, or Honest ever find out. I won't let a year of experimentation go to waste. Countess Shihoin," said Naruto.
The woman sighed. "Just because I'm the new head of the Shihoin family and the person in charge of the stealth force doesn't mean you can act informal with me. We're childhood friends after all Naruto. And my name is Yoruichi. We've known each other long enough to at least be on a first-name basis," said the Yoruichi.
Naruto sighed. As one of his family's oldest allies, the Shihoin Clan was one of the two subservient clan's that served the Uzumaki Clan and had left the Elemental Nations with them. They were famous in the Elemental Nation for creating the Flash Step. A move that allowed them to move at such a speed that, it changed combat in the Elemental Nations for Generations. However like most clans they kept their technqie and training a secret. Members of the Uzumaki could use the False Flash Step, but never to the extent or skill that the Shihoin clan could.
"What did you discover Yourichi-chan?" asked Naruto.
The young woman frowned. "It's not good. It seems that they might try to play both sides,"
Yourichi reached into her hoari and pull out a scroll and placed it on his desk. Naruto picked up the scroll and began to read it. Naruto read it over a few times before he closed it and handed it back to Yoruichi.
"Is this accurate?" asked Naruto.
"I verified it myself," said Yoruichi.
"Put a team together to monitor the situation. Make sure to put Soifon on it as commander. This mission time will have a five-week span on it," said Naruto.
"Won't that look strange? A Commander from the Western Army vanishing for a few weeks at a time?" asked Yoruichi.
"Not if she's on assignment, as a request from the Fleet Lord and her Clan's benefactor," said Naruto with a smile.
