Hi there, it's been a while.
I hope this message finds you all in good health. I've been going through some ups and downs lately, and it's kind of contributed to writing the fanfic in general. I haven't deleted my draft for Chapter 2; it's got about 6K words right now, but I'm trying to find motivation to finish it anyway. The reason I started this fic in the first place was because of my interest/hatred for Volumes 7 and 8 with how they ended. So, since Volume 9 is about to end (I'm barely keeping up with it right now) I'm thinking of getting back to writing.
This fic was originally going to run alongside the canon show, with having some slight differences (Alt. Canon AU I think it's called); but with the way the show is going as of now, I'm having thoughts of this being turned into a complete AU fic instead. So, I'll see what I can come up with and try to remain respectful to the characters.
Also, allow my to clarify something: I don't hate RWBY anymore. As a matter of fact, I'm sort of apathetic to it in general, with a bit of annoyance thrown into the mix. However, I'm still interested in the world of Remnant, so I will be focusing on making the fic slightly grim dark in the future once I find the time.
