Chapter 55 You Still Came

Saki's POV

That Night

Tonight was the concert that would kick off Leo/need's first tour.

We were backstage getting ready, but my mind was on a certain someone.

"Saki-Chan", Honami started. "Are you okay?"

"Are you thinking about Aoyagi-San", Ichika asked.

"Yeah", I replied sadly. "Onii-Chan told me something earlier, and now I'm wondering if breaking up with Toya was the right thing to do."

"Look, Saki", Shiho started. "I know that you're upset, but we need you to focus right now."

After Shiho said this, I took a look at my band.

Then, I shook my head before shooting out of my seat

"You're right, Shiho-Chan", I exclaimed. "This is the concert that's going to kick off Leo/need's first tour! I can't afford to let anything distract me!"

"There's the Saki we know and love", Shiho said.

"Leo/need", a stage crew member called out. "You're on in five!"

With that, we all turned to look at each other.

"Alright girls", I started. "Are we ready for this?"

"I am", Shiho replied.

"So am I", Honami replied.

Then…we all formed our fingers into a star.

"Leo/need", Ichika started. "Lets do it!"

After the concert intro, the curtain fell…and our opening performance began.

"Saki", I heard Tsukasa exclaim from the crowd. "Ichika! Leo/need!"

Upon hearing this, Ichika and I looked at each other in amusement.

Then, I took a closer look at the VIP section…and was surprised at who I saw.

In the VIP section…was Toya.

Our eyes met, and then…he smiled at me.

Seeing this…I smiled back.

Even though I broke up with him…he still came.

After the concert, Tsukasa and I were outside the venue.

"Congratulations on the opening concert of your tour, Saki", he said before pulling me into a hug. "I'm so very proud of you!"

"Thank you, Onii-Chan", I said before pulling away from the hug. "Now then, we should be heading home."

"Not so fast, Saki", Tsukasa started, before grabbing onto my shoulders. "It seems that you have a fan waiting for you."

With that Tsukasa turned my body around, and when he did…I was surprised at who I saw.

"Toya-Kun", I said in shock.

"Hi, Saki", Toya greeted.

"I'll give you two a moment", Tsukasa said, before walking to the side.

Then, I turned back around to look at Toya.

"Your performance was amazing", he said. "I'm very proud of you, Saki."

"Thank you", I said.

Then…Toya and I just stood there awkwardly.

"Toya-Kun", I started. "I…"

"Saki", Toya started. "Before you say anything, there's something I need to tell you."

"Okay", I said.

Then…Toya grabbed onto my hands.

"Saki", he started. "Thank you very much for not wanting to come in between me and my friends. But I am capable of making my own decision, and you don't need to feel responsible for what I that decision is."

"And…", I started. "Have you made your decision?"

"I have", Toya replied. "Saki, I'm staying with you."

Hearing this made me so happy.

"Really", I asked in shock. "Are you sure?"

"Don't get me wrong", Toya started. "I will miss my friends dearly, but…being with you makes me happy."

After I heard this…A huge smile came to my face.

Then…Toya pulled me into a hug.

"I love you, Saki."

"I love you too, Toya-Kun!"
