Chapter 57 Kyoto
Ichika's POV
We had arrived at our first tour stop, which was Kyoto.
While we were here, we would be staying in a Kyo Machiya; which was an old, traditional Japanese house that could be found in Kyoto.
"Alright", Hiroshi started after we settled in. "Rehearsals only start tomorrow, so you girls have the rest of the afternoon to do what ever you want. However, tonight I will be treating you girls to a Kappo style dinner, so make sure you're back in time for that."
"Really", I asked in shock.
"But of course", Hiroshi replied. "After all, you girls have worked hard to get here, and you still have a lot of hard work ahead of you. You deserve a reward for all of that."
"Thank you so much, Hiroshi-San", Honami said.
"Well then", Saki started. "If we have to be back in time for dinner, then we have no time to waste! Let's go explore Kyoto!"
…
One of the biggest attractions in Kyoto was the Fushimi Inari shrine, so that's where we decided to go.
"Wow", Saki said in awe. "This place is so cool!"
"Yes", Honami agreed. "This place has a very peaceful atmosphere."
"Well", Saki started. "What are we waiting for? Let's start making our way to the peak!"
"Are you sure that you'll be to handle that, Saki", I asked in concern. "I mean, it's a pretty long walk to get to the peak."
"It'll be okay", Saki reassured. "As long as I make sure to pace myself, I'm sure that I'll be able to handle it!"
"Okay", Shiho said. "But if you begin feeling unwell, you let us know the second it happens."
"Aye aye, Shiho-Chan", Saki said. "Now then, let's get going!"
…
Since we had to pace ourselves to ensure that Saki didn't overexert herself, the walk up the mountain took us some time.
But after a while…we had finally reached the peak.
"Wow", Saki said in awe. "Look at this view!"
With that, we did as Saki asked.
From the peak of the mountain, we could see as the sun set over Kyoto.
"Amazing", Saki said in awe. "You can see the whole of Kyoto from here!"
"Indeed", Honami said. "This view is very beautiful."
"Lets take a picture", Saki said.
Then, we took a photo with Kyoto and the sunset behind us.
"Alright then", Honami started. "We'd better start making our way back."
"Honami's right", Shiho said. "It's going to take a while to make our way back down the mountain, and we don't want to miss the Kappo dinner Hiroshi-Ojisan has organized for us."
…
We were now all sitting in a private room at the Kappo dinner with Hiroshi.
"Wow", Saki said in awe. "All this food looks so yummy!"
"Thank you so much for this, Hiroshi-San", Honami said.
"You're very welcome", Hiroshi said.
Then, he held up his glass.
"I give a toast to Leo/need", he said. "May your first tour be a success!"
