Chapter 2
I do NOT OWN Naruto, how I wish I could own it. I also do NOT OWN the fan art, or the pictures used here so full credits would go to the original owner unless I say so myself which will be unlikely to happen. I create these stories how I want. If you kept reading despite knowing that, just to talk trash about it, then that's on your own conscience. On a side note, I will not delete the negative comments unless they contain death threats or shame someone for their opinion. TL;DR: Don't be a note: this is my first ever fanfic I made so expect it to be very bad + grammar errors since English is not my first language, but that's a bad excuse so I am going to try and make it less noticeable or remove it. (Editor's note: fixing any English errors. Let us know if I missed anything, it will help in the futurre) beta Credits: AnonymousPerson93 (wattpad account), Anonymous_Person_93 (ao3 account)

*TIME SKIP 30 years*
Humanity has bloomed since the creation of the new solar system and under the guidance of Hagoromo. And with time they began to worship him as a god and decided to create a new time era called AS, short for After Sage. It was trial and error to decide on a good system to make humanity thrive but after a while they succeeded with Hagoromo's went well until 17 years later. The large town they had built went up in white flames, while everybody was trying to put out the flames, one person was running away with a determined face. After a few seconds of running, he was on an empty plain of grass and shouted his brother's name: "INDRAAA!" After a few seconds a purple mass fell down from the sky, and the purple flames went away to reveal the so-called Indra. After a few minutes of arguing, the battle started. The landscape was destroyed, and the unnamed brother decided to take it to a place where damage could be done without worrying about collateral damage. When he sensed his wife and children he gave them an apologetic look, and turned his attention back to his brother and ran towards him and launched into space far away from the solar system that their father created.
Their battle continued, and stars flickered and started exploding due to the damage they had taken. But the brothers didn't mind and weren't affected by the exploding stars and the cold vacuum of space. The two brothers stared at each other. The battle lasted for days that slowly turned into months and that into two years, none of the two brothers wanted to give up. After 2 years of battles and thousands of stars destroyed they were running on fumes and were covered in wounds and scars that healed in the middle of battle. The brother called Indra decided to speak for the first time in 2 years. "Ashura, why do you keep getting in my way over and over. Just die! It would be a lot easier to get world peace through power and power alone. Your ideal won't work, bonds and friendship will never evolve towards peace. Like the way tou-san named you the successor to ninshu, while it was my own birthright, you took it away with a smile!" The now named Ashura looked down with sadness in his face as this was the way how his elder brother felt after he got chosen as successor and not him. After what he felt like an eternity Ashura spoke to. "Indra I get it, you're angry. But tou-san chose me because of how I returned from the mission he had sent us on. The point was to make comrades and learn morals, life lessons. Since you started alone and came back alone, you did not learn what was needed to be a leader of the people. I came back with comrades and a wife with a child. While you went on a dark path, I went into the light path and that's why tou-san chose me, not you Indra." After Ashura said this, Indra went silent and looked down and gripped his fist tightly. Before he could react Indra went for the killing blow and pushed his hand through his brother's chest. While Ashura coughed blood out, he raised his arm and broke his brother's neck. But it seemed as if Indra suspected this and began to say his last words. "I will destroy ninshu even if it takes decades upon decades. I will destroy it, mark my words Ashura." While he said the last word the light faded out of his eyes. Suddenly, it became too hard for Ashura to breathe, and he knew his time was limited. So in all his strength that he had left he went back to the planet and wished to see his wife one last time.
After a few minutes he crashed into the market in the middle of town. While the civilians were scared at first, they then realized who it was. They cheered that the son of their god had returned from his battle, but then they saw his grief. They looked at his wounds, and even the civilians there who didn't study the art of medicine knew he didn't have much longer. While Ashura was looking for his wife and children, he was suddenly assaulted by four hugs from his youngest children. Then his three oldest children hugged him. When they stopped he was barely alive just holding on with sheer willpower. He saw his wife and hugged and kissed her, before he died in her arms while having a peaceful smile on his face. But before his light faded, he promised in every life he would stop his brother, and thus a cycle was created, between the two ideals of peace through power and peace through bonds.
*Location Change*
There is a plane that was completely black on all sides, with the one exception being the gray stone floor with an inch and a half layer of water on it. Suddenly a man looked up to a random location and frowned heavily. "So their wills and chakra are so strong that they ascend the cycle of death, and constantly come back from the dead to settle their grudge. They return with a new body, but same characteristics. While each reincarnation is getting closer and closer to their original power, it still has a long way to go." He watched every reincarnation fight over their ideals of peace, and each battle becoming more and more destructive. He could only watch with sadness and a lone tear fell from his eye. He could remember clearly that when the first of their reincarnations battled, it would hardly destroy a house. But now the latest one could destroy entire city blocks with ease, just by flaring their chakra. He could only hope that with each reincarnation, they would settle their grudges and break their cycle of endless hate and violence. He knew he made a foolish mistake when he gave all his power to only one of the sons and cut the other out of his birthright. He wished he had intervened earlier to stop this, but now it's too late, their hatred for each other seeped into their descendants, bringing the two clans in an endless war.
A war that would only stop if one of the two clans was extinct. He watched for five thousand years before he finally hoped their cycle was broken by the current reincarnations. He watched as they set aside their clans' grudges and built a village with the goal that children don't have to experience growing up in war like they did. It worked, but then Uchiha man of the duo - Indra latest reincarnation Madara - read the stone tablet Hagoromo had left for the Uchiha clan on how to use their sharingan properly and about the eye of the moon genjutsu. The man didn't notice how the tablet was altered, as he was busy watching over his son's reincarnations and descendants. Another thing he didn't notice was the black humanoid blob that altered the tablet to his content, in order to further manipulate the Uchiha's.
