Spider wasn't sure what was wrong with the girl's hands which she kept in fists. She wouldn't purposely touch anything and would flinch if doing so, showing clear discomfort. He saw her palms were weirdly pinkish for a na'vi, but they didn't look burned. When asked, the odd na'vi would just nod that they were hurting and didn't let him examine them. She had trouble at picking up the pieces of fruit that he had cut, so Spider ended up helping. Stabbing the pieces with his knife and then offering them. At first hesitant, she carefully took them with her teeth and immediately put back the mask while chewing. The first bite she took made her brighten up with surprise, smiling.
"You like it? It's pxorna'."
She nodded eagerly while eating before taking the mask down for another mouthful.

It was a bit weird for Spider, who had to feed the child like she was a baby bird. It was cute though how her ears and tail kept kinda dancing from enjoyment. Seeing her calm and happy made him dare to find out what was going on

"What's your name? I'm Spider Miles... Socorro, but call me just Spider." She watched him while slowly eating, then after swallowing mumbled: "Don't know."
"Don't know your name?"
She didn't give anything to clear his amused confusion, her gaze wandering off to their surroundings. "What's this place?"
"It's a... Place."
She gave a look and giggled, Spider chuckling while picking up more fruit for her to eat. "This is Bridgehead City, humans live here... How did you end up here?"

"Woke up," was the only answer she could offer. "I'm... I'm looking for my sis."
"You have a sister?"
She nodded and took another bite of the soft and creamy fruit. The taste was nicely mellow, making her chew till it was creamy mush in her mouth.
"Zeezee," she muttered and swallowed: "She's my big sister. You know where I could find her?"
"No," he thought about it: "But I can help. My dad is coming, so after that, we can go looking."
"Your dad?" she was unsure.
"Yeah, don't worry, he's an okay guy," Spider shrugged and tried to be confident about it. But he could surely promise: "I'll help you find Zeezee, promise."
Instead of relief or thanking, she slightly tilted her chin and turned her head to look more around.

Spider was able to confirm that the girl didn't have kuru hanging from her head. This revelation horrified the young man who couldn't hide his expression when the na'vi looked back. His face made her echo his emotions: "What's wrong?"
"It's no- …Are you okay?"

It was a simple question, that caused a reaction. Thinking about that question made the child to realize how weird her situation was. Not knowing who you are, not even your name. Or where you are. Or why you look nothing like a human. Why you feel weird whenever you touch something, hands hurting. Or where was your sister. Or who even was this sister who you wanted to find with certainty that once you find her, things will be okay. And why it was hard to breath without the mask and why she had been stuck with a needle in a room where she woke up, alone. Nothing was making sense and it was scary!

"No," the girl whimpered, breaking into tears as the fear took hold. "I don't... I- I want my sister!"

"Shit, sorry," Spider was alarmed. He jumped next to her, placing hand on her back to comfort: "Hey, hey, it's okay. Everything's fine, we'll find Zeezee. Okay? We'll find her, don't worry." His words didn't help and she kept on crying.

Given the information of the clone's whereabouts, and aided by the sound of wailing, Mansk and Lopez hurried to the scene. The blood on the floor hadn't gone unnoticed and with their guns they assessed the unknown situation. They saw the suspected clone crying on the floor with a mask on and Spider sitting next to her. When seeing them, the kids were startled. Standing up the girl stared in fear while Spider placed himself in front of her with hands raised. "No! Don't shoot, don't shoot! She's okay!"
"Spidey, step aside niño," Lopez commanded while aiming downwards and trying to see the covering clone.

Mansk watched for a second, before putting his gun away. With his hand he gestured Lopez to do the same. "It's okay," he assured and approached alone the kids. While Spider trusted him and didn't protest, the girl was still scared. Looking at the tall, intimating man with sunglasses coming closer her body twitched in middle of fight-or-flight decision. Seeing that Mansk halted, and instead crouched down with arms resting on his knees. Trying to appear less threatening to the child.
Spider looked between them and slowly step aside. The anxious clone followed the boy, staying behind him while she peeked at the adults with big teary eyes.

She had red hair like Andíla, as also some other familiar features. Her frightened look was the same kind as the youngest Sully kid's, and it brought memories that Mansk was ashamed of. He never liked missions that included children, didn't mean he wouldn't do his job, and he disliked seeing them in distress.

"Mansk," Spider caught his attention: "What's going on?"
Tail quietly waving the man tried to find sufficient words. The situation was complicated, and he didn't know how much he should or could say. "She's not in danger," the recom decided to settle at: "She's gonna be given to the na'vi."
Though that should had been enough, the teenager wanted more: "What's done to her? She doesn't-"
"Spider," he stopped the boy: "She's going to be alright." After all, the clone was going to be given to Norm Spellman and the na'vi. They would take the girl in and help her. Mansk believed wholeheartedly it was after all better for the child to be outside of the Bridgehead and of RDA's grasp. Maybe that had been Zdinarsk's attempt after all: make sure the child would be with those who cared and could protected her from the organization.

"Spider," the clone quietly called and he turned towards her. Keeping eye on the armed adults she asked: "What's na'vi?"

Quaritch, Lyle and Z-Dog also arrived with their guns ready. Seeing them made the girl yelp and to try and hide behind Spider with her tail curled against her hip. Mansk stepped in front of the kids, doing same as Spider and raised his hands: "No danger, sir." The recom stood protectively until they put their guns into holsters, then he moved aside to let the colonel take charge of the situation. Z-Dog couldn't stop from staring at the little girl.
