"Rylie, do you mind if you walk to the parking lot alone? I have to do something." Sesshomaru said after our last class of the day.
"No, I don't mind at all. I will see you in a little bit" I said as I grabbed my bag and walked towards the stairs. I started down the stairs when I felt a high heeled shoe in my back, and I stumbled. I turned quickly, and I saw Kikyo standing there, her eyes grew wide with shock that I didn't fall.
"Next time, make sure you kick harder or it will come back and bite you in the ass" I said and walked away. As I walked towards the parking lot, I could hear Kikyo and her gang behind me laughing. I reached the spot where Sesshomaru's truck was.
"Is there something you want?" I asked as I stopped in front of Sesshomaru's truck.
"I want you to stay away from Sesshomaru and your brothers at school or you will not live to see another year" Kikyo said and I smiled as I watched my brothers and Sesshomaru walk closer.
"Let me get this straight you want me to stay away from my brothers and Sesshomaru at school, but who do you think gives me a ride to school and home?" I said and smiled bigger when Sesshomaru smiled at me.
"Sesshomaru would never let trash like you in his truck." Kikyo said not knowing Sesshomaru and my brothers were standing behind her.
"Rylie, can I give you a ride home?" Sesshomaru asked as I watched Kikyo's face turn sheet white.
"I would like that Sesshomaru, thank you" I said as Sesshomaru led me to his truck and drove me home.
"Well that was fun, what happened?" Sesshomaru asked as we were stopped in front of my house. I told him everything that happened, and he walked me to my front door.
"I will see you tomorrow" He said and he bent down and kissed me on the cheek.
"I will see you" I said and I walked into the house and went straight to my room, I finished my homework, I grabbed a book and sat in my window and read. I fell asleep in my window; I woke up when the alarm went off. I got up and got dressed in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with tennis shoes. I walked down the stairs and out the door and saw Sesshomaru's truck waiting outside again. We drove quietly to the high school and we parked next to my brother's car. Sesshomaru opened the door for me, and I sat on the hood of my brother's car, and talked with them. I stood up and bent down to grab my bag when the bell rang.
"You touch her and your dead" Sesshomaru said I straighten up and turned around and saw Sesshomaru holding a guys wrist which was out stretched toward my butt. I jumped back and Alan let go of his wrist.
"Who are you?" Sesshomaru asked as he moved closer to me.
"I am Manten, and my girl will not be happy that you are sticking up for trash." He said
"The only trash I see at this school is your girl. You leave our sister alone or you can deal with all of us." Shippou said as they stood up and walked next to us.
I looked up and saw Kikyo walking towards us but I saw a face I never wanted to see again. I grabbed Sesshomaru's hand and he looked down at me with a confused look on his face, then he looked at my brothers who moved in front of me in a protective way.
"Well it is nice to see you again Rylie" a voice said in front of me.
"Go to hell Naraku" I said and I squeezed Sesshomaru's hand. He looked like he finally understood what was going on and who this person was in front of him.
"Sesshomaru get Rylie out of here" Shippou said as Sesshomaru headed towards the school still holding my hand. My brothers finally joined us at lunch. My brothers sat around me and Sesshomaru protecting me as usual.
"Why is he here?" I finally asked
"He has joined our school, and it appears he still wants you. But we told him that he had a lot of people to go through to get to you." Shippou said as I watched Naraku sit next to Kikyo and her friends. Sesshomaru wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Well I hope you don't grow sick of me, because I will not leave your side" Sesshomaru whispered in my ear, and I couldn't help but giggle.
"I would love for you to stay by my side, forever" I whispered back to him. He loosened his grip on my waist and I leaned my head on his shoulder and smiled.
"Rylie, is it alright if Ginta takes you home, I need to take care of a few things before I stay with you permanently." Sesshomaru said and I giggled at his remark.
"No I don't mind, Ginta and Hakkaku were the first ones we met when we moved to Sunrise Valley, and we know who and what they are, so I'm alright with it." I said as they all looked at us. "Shippou and I can sense who people really are" I added.
"So you already knew what I was before I told you" Sesshomaru asked as I stared at him.
"Yes I did" I said as lunch ended. We walked towards Ginta's car and Sesshomaru helped me inside the car and told Ginta "Protect her until I get there."
