Diablo Desert/Fry Pan Community
It is early in the morning as Lisa is looking around at the decently sized community that gathered soon after the magical fire of Fry Pan Mountain had been extinguished as Ox explained that these are the villagers of Fry Pan who had to scatter from the flames and with the help from the villagers they managed to recreate a impressive community and Yamcha even started visiting this place to hang out since he said that Fry Pan is a pretty nice village.
Right now, Lisa is just walking around while dressed in a blue short sleeved shirt and blue jean shorts with sneakers on her feet as she looked on at the people helping each other or repairing still damaged buildings and she couldn't help but smile in response.
"Lisa wait up." A familiar voice said from behind Lisa as she turned around and saw Chi-Chi running up to her as she is now dressed in a blue Cheongsam with red pants and black slip-on shoes.
"Hey Chi-Chi. What's up?" Lisa asked as Chi-Chi seemed pretty happy right now.
"The martial arts teacher asked me to find the person who is supposed to be trained by Muten Roshi and he wants to talk with you at the dojo." Chi-Chi said with cheer as she and Lisa sparred a few times, but Ox King managed to put Chi-Chi in proper classes after a martial artist joined the village and created his own dojo with a lot of the students being children like Chi-Chi while some of the older folks stuck to rebuilding and transforming the former ruins of Fry Pan.
"Really? Well, I'm not doing anything right now so show me the way." Lisa told her before Chi-Chi took Lisa to the dojo as it wasn't a large building or anything, but it had decent space as Lisa saw a few young kids siting down on the padded ground of the building with a guy in a black martial arts gi with short sleeves and matching black pants with a black belt around his waist.

Tarn has tanned skin with curly brown hair on his head with brown eyes and a athletic frame as Lisa couldn't help but notice the titles under his name and was very impressed by this guy and didn't bother trying to read him with Observe since he could most likely deflect it and since the skill had recently gotten maxed out and still wasn't terribly great it showed that Lisa still had a long way to go in trying to get a read on people.
"Welcome. You must be the one that Chi-Chi has been talking about during class." Tarn said as Lisa glanced over at Chi-Chi who looked away with a bit of a nervous blush.
"I don't know what Chi-Chi has told you, but I didn't do much." Lisa replied with a casual shrug.
"Nonsense. You helped put out the great fire and made Fry Pan livable again as well as being able to retrieve training from the legendary Muten Roshi himself. So, if you don't mind, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping out with teaching the class for a bit?" Tarn asked as that prompted a familiar screen.

After seeing no real downside Lisa mentally accepted the quest.
"Sure." Lisa said as she more or less helped with Tarn's demonstrations on strikes, and holds and whatnot against someone who isn't trained in the same discipline as yourself and during the demonstrations Lisa got a wild idea on how she could use Observe as she used it on everyone in class when they practiced what was called Taijutsu and sure enough during that experiment and with Tarn demonstrating several moves Lisa got a brand new message.

"Nice." Lisa said to herself as she ignored the game screens and looked on at the kids and thought about her short but memorable time at Ken's orphanage and couldn't help but smile.
"Thanks for the help, Lisa." Tarn said as he walked up to her as the class was coming to an end as Lisa managed to successfully pick up some new Taijutsu techniques from helping teach the class and closely scanning the students as they practiced the techniques.
"It wasn't a big deal. Besides the kids seemed to love it." Lisa said back as Tarn nodded his head.
"They have and I have to say that you might be the first martial arts prodigy I have ever seen with how quickly you can adapt and learn in combat. So, with that in mind I might know something you might be interested in." Tarn said as Lisa raised an eyebrow at that.
"What do you mean?" Lisa asked with a bit of confusion.
"Well in the world there are many magical and unexplainable things which are just waiting to be unearthed and I know that nearby there is an abandoned ninja temple that probably houses a bunch of secrets and I think you could go there and unearth those secrets or at least learn a thing or two." Tarn said before familiar messages appeared in front of her.

"Well how can I possibly pass up the chance to learn some awesome Ninja secrets?" Lisa asked with a smile on her face as she accepted the quest as Tarn also smiled in response.
"Well, I'm glad to see that you are excited but be careful since Ninja's are well known for creating traps and what not. So, you might want to ask Ox King for help." Tarn said in a serious tone despite the smile on his face.
"Got it but if you know about this than why don't you want to check the place out?" Lisa asked as Tarn chuckled.
"These old bones won't be much good in a temple anymore I'm afraid. My skills in combat are still good but in a real fight I'm mighty rusty and I have a few more responsibilities here that take up much of my time." Tarn explained as Lisa looked at him and saw that he did seem a bit up in age.
"I understand. I'll make sure I bring you something back from the temple though." Lisa said as she left the dojo and when she did, she saw a familiar face wandering around the village. "Yamcha." Lisa said as she ran up to him as he turned around and saw her.
"Hey Lisa, what's up?" Yamcha as Puar floated next to him.
"Nothing much. I just helped teach some kids a bit of martial arts and now I'm heading over to an abandoned ninja temple to explore it. Do you want to come with?" Lisa asked bluntly as that took Yamcha off guard a bit before he smiled.
"You're a strange girl Lisa. You're always going off on some sort of mission." Yamcha said as he and Puar exchanged a look before he spoke up again. "You helped us get our home back so whatever help you need we will gladly lend a hand."
"Thanks. If your car is still running, I can give you the directions to the temple." Lisa said and sure enough Lisa had once again teamed up with Yamcha and Puar as they got into Yamcha's car and started heading towards the directions of the temple thanks to Lisa's mini map giving her directions to her objective and after a decently long drive they came up to the building in the desert after evading a few deadly predators.
The temple seemed to made from wood and stone like materials instead of any kind of metal as the group got out of the car and walked into the courtyard of the place as they saw the massive temple in front of them and realized that this place was going to take a while to search but before they could walk any further they saw people rush out of the temple entrance as these people where ninjas without question as they are dressed in ninja themed attire with weapons as well but something seemed off so when Lisa got into a ready stance she used Observe on one of the four ninjas that charged at them.

"Yamcha these aren't people. Their demons so don't hold back." Lisa quickly said as she dived into her Inventory and took out two Tanto blades so she could use one in each hand as she leaped to the side to give Yamcha and herself some space to fight as two of the ninjas went for her while the other two tried to attack Yamcha.
The first ninja has a katana while the second is using nun-chucks as they tried to attack her at the same time as Lisa activated Focused Reinforcement and was able to use her Tanto blades to block the attacks form both ninja but was knocked down when the katana wielding demon hit her with a kick to the stomach that had no doubt been enhanced with Ki as Lisa quickly got up to see that the nun-chuck wielding ninja has thrown throwing stars at her.
"Mana Shield." Lisa said as she summoned up her shield which stopped the metal throwing stars from hitting her as the ninja with the katana had focused Ki into his sword and when he got close he slashed at the shield and shattered it as Lisa quickly responded by reading both her swords as she closed the distance between herself and the katana demon as she enhanced both swords with her Power Strike skill and viscously slashed him across his chest as he erupted with a spray of black blood as Lisa quickly dropped both her Tanto blades into her Inventory and instead took out her ogre mallet and swung at the ninja when he had foolishly gotten close to her as she once again used Power Strike and heard a wet crunch like sound from the ninja with the nun-chucks as he fell lifelessly on the floor.

Lisa ignored the experience point alerts as she rushed to help Yamcha who was struggling a bit but thanks to Sneak and re-equipping her Tanto blades in each hand instead of her club she managed to sneak up on one of the demon ninja's and kill him with a critical strike through the heart thanks to her blade which wasn't large enough to come out through the chest but it still got the job done as Yamcha was able to finish off the last one with a powerful slash of his sword.

The skills of mace using and wielding two weapons at once were simple enough for Lisa to understand but what she didn't understand was the last skill she seemed to have created as she pulled up the skill and got a clearer understanding of what the skill can do.

"My swordsmanship is sloppy, but it won't get any stronger, so I guess I need to find a teacher to actually give me proper instructions on how to use a sword." Lisa said to herself before she grabbed the weapons and loot from the fallen ninjas as they had some decent weapons. Two katanas and two nun-chucks plus a max of fifteen throwing stars for Lisa to use.
"Lisa how did you know they were demons?" Yamcha asked with some concern as he looked at the black blood on his sword with a grimace of disgust.
"I used a magic spell on them. I'm a practicing magic user in addition to being a martial artist but right now that isn't important. What is important is that we are going to be facing some more ninjas and it is going to be dangerous. If you want out, you can go but I need to clear this place out before the demons become a problem for the village." Lisa said with a serious tone of voice as Yamcha looked down at the corpses for a moment before shaking his head.
"I'm going with you. Puar, you stay out here with the car." Yamcha said to Puar who was looking horrified at what had just happened.
"But-" Puar was saying before he got interrupted.
"No buts. Just wait out here until we come back." Yamcha said sternly as Yamcha flew away towards the car as Lisa made their way into the temple as Yamcha held his sword in hand while Lisa had two Tanto's at the ready as they started walking the halls of this large temple.
The temple is fashioned in a traditional fashion instead of what was now a modern sense of fashion as the doors moved seamlessly and were almost see through and made out of some thin material as ninja's occasionally got the jump on them but Yamcha and Lisa were able to quickly adapt and prevail with little issue as Yamcha and Lisa where a bit beaten up before they made their way to the first study hall of the temple that had several books, scrolls and tomes that where destroyed by fire but as luck would have it. Lisa managed to find a few undestroyed books.

Lisa didn't waste her time in learning the three skills as each skill book burst into golden flower pedals that flowed into her body much to Yamcha's shock.

"Okay Lisa you seriously need to start explaining some things." Yamcha said in a serious and confused tone of voice as Lisa looked back at him and wondered if she should tell Yamcha about her abilities.
"I'll explain more when we are clear of danger but right now, we should focus on clearing this place out. So, please just be a bit more patient." Lisa said back as Yamcha looked back at her for a moment before sighing.
"Fine but I want a legit explanation." Yamcha said before they continued on and found a few more rooms with nothing interesting in them except for a few sculptures and what not that Lisa placed in her Inventory to sell and to give to Tarn and the very last room in this section of the building seemed to be some kind of armory of ninja equipment as Lisa thought about taking a lot more things but figured that she had enough weapons as is and instead she and Yamcha decided to head out to another section of the building.
"This place is massive." Yamcha said as they traveled another hallway after killing one last batch of ninjas as Lisa was walking in front and leading them to their goal.

"Yeah, back in its hey day I'm willing to bet that the ninjas were crazy cool instead of the demons they are now." Lisa said as she looked at her two Tanto blades stained with black blood before a new alert appeared.

Lisa looked on at the screen for a moment before she kept walking and soon enough after barely avoiding a few wall traps of spikes and a few floor traps meant to remove some feet both Lisa and Yamcha managed to reach the main chamber of the temple by going past two large wooden doors and seeing the boss of them temple inside of what looks to be a massive training room for the ninjas as the floor was stained with black blood.
The figure in the center of this large room is clearly not human despite its humanoid shape as this being has unnaturally long arms as the tips of its fingers reaches its knees as the knees where also long which made the figure tower at roughly nine feet tall as its body was muscular in shape while it has the head of a tiger skull with eerie blue flames coming out of its eye sockets as it is dressed in what looks like monk robes with a large necklace of beads around its neck as Lisa immediately scanned it.
The spell [Observe] has been deflected!
"Yamcha get ready." Lisa said quicky as she got into a ready stance with her Tanto swords in both hands as Yamcha also got ready but was more exhausted since he didn't have Lisa's regenerative abilities.
"Interesting. Fresh humans coming the home given to my by the demon lord Verda. You'll make wonderful bones for my stew." The demonic being said as it reached behind its back and took out a sword that didn't look like a conventional one as it was a short sword for sure, but its blade looked like a large slice of blue ice from Yunzabit Heights icy waters cut into the shape of a blade.
Lisa and Yamcha didn't waste time as they both charged at the demon with Lisa being a tiny bit faster thanks to using Ki Sprint as she closed the distance and attacked with both swords but was blocked with the strange ice one that the demon wielded as Yamcha tried flanking from behind before the demon knocked Lisa backwards with a powerful knee as the demon quickly turned around and slashed at Yamcha with its sword as his ice blade met with Yamcha's bandit sword with a cling sound as Lisa was slow to get back to her feet.

Lisa brute forced her way to her feet as the Dazed effect quickly wore off as she stashed away the Tanto in her right hand and aimed her hand at the demon.
"Sizzle." Lisa said, casting her fireball spell at the monster before it knocked Yamcha back and turned towards her and her attack as it raised its sword into the air before thrusting it forward in a downward slash while casting his own spell.
"Icy Burst." The monster cast as a gust of icy fog erupted around the monster which quickly covered the battle field and not only destroyed Lisa's fireball but it also hit Yamcha and Lisa and was dealing a lot of cold damage to them as Lisa found that the temperature just dropped massively. However, due to recent activities and a higher INT stat Lisa was able to come up with quick solutions under pressure and remember that while cold can put out a fire. A fire can still warm up the cold air so she focused again and once again activated the Sizzle spell but this time instead of firing it she held it in her hand as she felt her mana connected to the fire ball and focused on making the ball hotter to combat the cold and sure enough she felt a drain as her fireball grew hotter as she felt it crackle and wash over her body like she planned and instead of harm she felt warm and comfortable as if she was wrapped in a heated blanket which was her desired result.

Lisa ignored the skill alert and felt her body start to warm up but she also knew that Yamcha didn't have magic and couldn't do what she just did so she once again pumped Ki into her legs and rushed towards the demon which actually caught him off guard as she made him raise his sword and block her attack with the Tanto she gripped with both hands while using Power Strike to try and deal more damage and that not only stopped the magical ice fog but it also made the demon stumble backwards a bit as the ice fog around them lifted as quickly as it appeared.
"How are you still standing? That ice wind should have frozen you stiff!" The demon shouted in rage as it noticed the flames around Lisa's body as they weren't so much of a raging inferno around her but instead it was more like a steady stream of fire washing over her body and clothes as if it was a new layer of skin as the flames didn't venture away from her body at all and acted similar to her Mana Shield when Lisa made it compact and smaller.
"Why the hell should I tell you anything?" Lisa asked in anger before she raised her right leg and hit the demon in the knee with a high kick applied with her Power Strike and thanks to the demon being caught off guard the kick brought it down to the ground as Lisa didn't hesitate to thrust her Tanto blade into the skull with all her might and heard the sound of bone shattering.

"Yamcha are you okay?" Lisa asked as she went over to Yamcha and saw that he was very cold but thankfully not hypothermic as he slowly got back up to his feet.
"Yeah, I was just taken off guard by that cold thing he did." Yamcha said as he tried to act tough, but Lisa knew that the pressure from that cold spell made Yamcha unable to move since it almost happened to her and if she didn't have magic they might not have fared so well against the demon.
"He won't be needing this anymore." Lisa said as she grabbed the demon's weapon and looked it over as the ice almost looked like a crystal as she used Observe on it and felt the warm flames over her finally die down which meant that this new spell had a time limit effect to it.

At a closer look Lisa saw that the grip of the sword was also made of ice but while she gripped it. The grip wasn't cold at all and the only thing that wasn't made of ice was the guard that looked like a large brass ring honestly.
"Can we leave now?" Yamcha asked as he was completely spent for the day and couldn't go on anymore.
"Yeah. Thanks for the help Yamcha and I'm sorry putting you through this kind of punishment." Lisa said as she helped Yamcha stay on his feet as they walked out of the temple and joined Puar in the car as Lisa offered to drive and after getting a few instructions from the former bandit Lisa managed to drive them home and develop a brand-new skill.
The skill [Automatic Style Driving] has levelled up! Level: 12-13!
The skill levels up surprisingly fast or at leas that is what Lisa thought as she drove through the sand as she also realized that the automatic part of her skill name referred to the type of car Yamcha was driving and in all likelihood she would need some training to drive other types of vehicles but right now she didn't complain and simply drove back to Fry Pan where she gave Tarn several items from the ninja temple that she stuffed into Yamcha's trunk so she wouldn't have to explain how she could pull items out of thin air and the man was very grateful. Lisa didn't tell him about what she found in the temple though because it was eating up at her as she sat on a nearby park bench alongside Yamcha after she had finished explaining her 'Gamer' powers to him.
"So, basically your life is like one of those RPG things?" Yamcha asked as Lisa nodded her head.
"Yeah." Lisa said but she was clearly lost in thought.
"What up?" Yamcha asked with some concern.
"That demon mentioned Verda and the last demon I fought said the same name and that this person is a demon lord and I don't think that demons appearing on earth from the same person is an accident." Lisa said as she activated a new quest without realizing it.

"Oh hell." Lisa said as a cold shiver washed over her, and it wasn't from Frost Pain which rested in her Inventory space unlike some of the weapons and items she sold to local shopkeepers for some Zeni.
"What's wrong?" Yamcha asked as Lisa turned to him.
"I need to get stronger Yamcha and I need to do it fast." Lisa said to herself unsure about if she could wait for Roshi to prepare his training much longer.

Diablo Desert/Fry Pan Community
Lisa spent several days training as she refined her martial arts skills and studied hard in the library for her INT and WIS stat gains due to her need to try and get stronger as fast as she could but she also realized that she can't run herself ragged or else the training would do more harm than good so right now in the early morning Lisa is standing a good space away from the Fry Pan community as she is training with her Ki itself.
Currently Lisa is dressed in a oversized shirt and jeans with sneakers on her feet as she is standing tall with her hands together as she generated a Ki Ball in her hands and experimented with it a bit as she made it larger and smaller to feel the drain and replenishment of her Ki based on how much Ki she pumped into the ball or how much Ki she reabsorbed from it as she also started rotating the Ki in various directions and felt that with everything she did it tested her control and just keeping the Ki Ball up was proving to be a constant drain itself as Lisa had more than worked up a sweat but she didn't stop training with her Ki.
The training was doing great for her Ki Manipulation skill but even with levelling up the skill it didn't make this little exercise any easier to do as she now tried tossing it back and forth between her hands as the Ki Ball felt like a strange mixture of heavy and light as closer inspection of her Ki gave Lisa a better understanding of it as Ki was physical, mental and spiritual as well as being a form of energy that seemed to be based on light similar to solar energy because when her Ki Ball got stronger it also got brighter and when it shrunk it got duller.
This information might be important, but it also might not be since Lisa didn't really have much information on Ki itself despite having some useful skills that use it as she also long since discovered that her Ki and stamina almost seemed to be one in the same. That little bit of information is what allowed Lisa to realize that her Ki drain was the reason why she had gotten so exhausted so quickly. She was basically draining herself with her higher Ki usage unless she managed to increase her reserves which she can do with her stats, but it was still a important piece of information to have.
"That's it." Lisa said as her Ki Ball faded out of existence as she collapsed to her knees while breathing heavily as her lungs felt heavy and her body struggled to remain upright.

"I'll live but damn that was tiring." Lisa said as she decided to bring up her skill and see how much it has improved.

"This skill has certainly improved since the last time I've seen it." Lisa said to herself with a small smile as she knew her buffs let her do more with Ki than the numbers would suggest but being able to see her progress cheered her up quite a bit. "Just because I exhausted my Ki doesn't mean that I can stop training yet." Lisa said as she wasn't planning on going overboard but she still wanted to put in some extra work so she quickly equipped Frost Pain and gave it a few good swings despite her exhaustion as she took a big breath before focusing her mana into the blade.
It was a strange sensation since her Ki management is better than her magic control but that didn't stop her as she focused more and felt a connection to the blade of magic ice as the connection had an obvious cold feeling to it but it was also somehow inviting in a way before she raised her sword up high and used the skill this weapon had.
"Icy Burst." Lisa said as she swung her sword downwards and focused on creating some kind of sword strike of ice instead of the mist and with the swing, she managed to magically create spike of ice that came out of the sandy ground a good foot or two in front of her before the ice shattered in front of her. "I held back a lot to not use a lot of magic and the sword didn't do exactly what I wanted but this is still progress. So, maybe I should practice more with my mana before I try using this swords skill." Lisa said before she stored Frost Pain away and went into a meditative stance and started meditating as she focused inward on her mana and just like her Ki she began experimenting with it and working on her control of mana.
Lisa had access to mana and Ki which is a impressive thing to her since her use of Observe told her that not everyone could do that despite having the potential to do so. So, with this in mind Lisa tried figuring out a way to use her mana in a similar fashion to her Ki before a wild idea came to mind as she waited for her Ki to refill a bit and after a long while of waiting her Debuff faded away and she felt good despite not being at one hundred percent as she stood proudly and looked around her.
"Skills can combine and evolve given time and circumstances so what if I can speed up the process and forcefully evolve a skill?" Lisa asked as the first skill that came to mind was Observe since it was proving to not be as useful as it used to be given the fact that she was facing stronger enemies than before and as a trail she looked down at a armored rat and cast Observe but this time instead of just feeling a drain of her MP she focused on the skill cost and tried adding in her MP and for a moment the skill didn't activate but Lisa still felt a skill drain until her eyes and mind seemed to have been forcefully opened for the first time as she felt the drain in both her Ki and MP as brand new information appeared before her.

"Okay I shouldn't make a habit of that unless I master a skill first." Lisa said as she now had a major headache from preforming that action, but she still couldn't help but smile as she was getting better and better at figuring out how to properly use her powers and how beneficial they could become before she went back to mediating and focusing on increasing her ability to properly manipulate her mana to try and get it on par with her ability to manipulate and use her Ki.

A/N: Okay that is a brand spanking new chapter completed and more plot has been introduced in the form of an overarching villain known as Verda aka a demon lord who is looking to attack earth. Our hero is looking to get stronger and prevent it, but she doesn't know how long she has or how strong she'll need to be but that sure isn't going to stop her from trying to defeat this demon.
