"You almost died Rylie, how could you do that?" Sesshomaru asked as he reached up and softly stroke my cheek.
"When I looked outside, I realized that if I didn't do something, everyone would die and I was not going to let that happen." I said as everyone hugged me. "By the way what happened to Kikyo?" I asked everyone stared at me.
"When you threw your energy blast you killed everyone around you, even Kikyo. Your dad yelled for us to get down and we did so we were safe." Sesshomaru said he stared at me for a while.
"I knew dad would take care and keep everyone safe" I said and smiled. It took two days to fully regain my strength and another two days to convince everyone that I was alright. Sesshomaru followed me everywhere and watched everything I did. I never thought he loved me that much.
"Rylie the dance is Saturday night, would you like to go with me? Since we missed our first date." Sesshomaru asked as he drove me home Monday afternoon.
"I would love to; I'm going shopping this Thursday for a dress. I'm asking Sango to go with me" I said as he walked me to my bedroom door.
"I guess I can't go, can I?" he said when we walked into my room and sat down on my bed.
"Not this time, I don't want you to see the dress before you pick me up the night of the dance" I said as I sat down on his lap and kissed him on the lips, my fingers played in his hair, and he groaned softly.
"Alright, I will let you go this time, but if you don't stop messing with me I will take you now" he said and I giggled as I kissed along his jaw to his mouth and back again. Suddenly Sesshomaru flipped and I was under him, still giggling. Sesshomaru started to kiss my throat to my ear. I caught my breath when he started to kiss my shoulder to my collar bone; he kept going lower until there was a knock on my door. His head jerked up and growled I couldn't help but giggle at him.
"Come in" I said laughing as Koga walked through the door and his face was red.
"Shippou asked me to tell you guys to take it somewhere else, he is going crazy in the bedroom and it is making the rest of us nuts. You know his powers are expanding and he can read our emotions now." Koga said as he huffed and strolled out of the door. I laughed even harder at Sesshomaru's expression.
"Wait, you knew his powers were expanding" Sesshomaru said as he stared at me, I couldn't stop laughing.
"Yes, I knew" I said as he knocked me over again.
"You are a bad little girl" he said and I smiled wickedly at him.
"I guess you'll have to punish me then, but not here. Shippou will go crazier then he already is." I said I watched Sesshomaru's face as he thought about my meaning in the words, slowly he started to smile, he grabbed my hand and we headed out the front door, to his truck. I looked out the window when we drove up to Sesshomaru's home, I couldn't believe my eyes, he lived in a mansion.
"You never told me you lived in a mansion." I said as I looked at the tall building.
"I guess I wanted to make sure you would fall in love with me not my money." He said as I smiled at him. "I wanted to keep it a secret until I was sure about your feelings, but when you almost killed yourself to protect me and your family I knew… Now there is a question I want you to answer, but you don't have to answer now. Will you and your family move in with me?" he said and I stared at him not believing what he said. He stopped the truck and I could see people everywhere in the yard, fixing and playing with their vehicles.
"Do you have the room?" I asked, when I opened the door there was a woman standing there, before I knew it I was in her arms, she hugged me tightly.
"I have plenty of room, these people do not stay here, they are friends of mine, and my kind. Plus there are 23 rooms, only Shori and I live here. She is my oldest friend and she lives on the far side of the house and my room is on the other side." He said as I looked up at the woman who was smiling at a man walking by.
"Oh I'm sorry, I'm Shori Smithers, I do live here with Sesshomaru but we only see each other on occasion." She said as she stared at me.
"I'm Rylie Tanaka" I said as I smiled and shook her hand.
"Alright girls, I will let you talk and get to know each other. I will ask for your answer tonight after you talk to your family." Sesshomaru said as he walked into the house.
"So what exactly are you?" I asked as we started walking around the yard looking at the cars and bikes.
"I am a bat demon and a witch" she said as I giggled at someone who fell over from drinking too much.
