After loving his life for so long in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario suddenly comes across a rainbow warp pipe and gets transported into Equestria. There he will meet the Mane 6 as together they will be in big adventures all about the Magic of Friendship. This is a Mario x MLP Harem story.

49. The Harem - Part 1

Mario P.O.V.

Well. . . looks like we've-a finally reached to where I hook up with the girls. As I stated in the beginning, I never thought that my fate would be to go to Equestria and protect the ones that I love dearly. But like I said, I always keep my promises to all of my friends no matter what happens. However, this story that I'm-a about to show you, is different. This is where I nearly lost my life in order to protect the six mares that I love the most. As you all know, the weird voice in my dreams stated that I have some kind of dark power in me. You may think that this all started when I yelled at my friends for shunning somepony else. . . but you thought wrong. Every hero out there has an origin, including me. I'm about to tell another time I had in The Mushroom Kingdom. Let's-a go

In The Mushroom Kingdom

It was a day of celebration in Peach's Castle, for the Mushroom Kingdom's neighbor, the Beanbean Kingdom, has sent over its goodwill ambassador in hopes to improve the peace and ties between the two kingdoms.

Princess Peach herself was currently in her throne room, with several Toad guards in attendance for the occasion, as they waited for their special guest to arrive.

Just then, one of the Toad guards entered the room and stood beside the doors.

Toad Guard: Your highness, announcing the arrival of the Goodwill Ambassador of the Beanbean Kingdom. May I present to you, Lady Lima.

The Toad bowed as an elderly, bean-like woman in a yellow robe entered the room, accompanied by what appeared to be her servant, who was also dressed in yellow, and was carrying a small, red chest into the room.

Peach: Lady Lima.

Lima: Your Highness. I wish to improve my kingdom's ties with the Mushroom Kingdom. I bring a gift, from Queen Bean.

Peach: We are thankful, Lady Lima, and we accept your gift.

Lima motioned to her servant, who stepped forward and presented the red chest to the princess. Peach stepped forward and opened it, curious to see its contents.

Suddenly, a small head, not unlike the ones seen in a jack-in-the-box, popped out of the chest and spat out a sickly green gas that engulfed that of Peach's!

In a puff of smoke, Lima was gone, and in her place was a beanish-looking witch in purple garb, who raised her arms and summoned lightning bolts that struck all over the place, forcing the panicking Toad guards to flee the area as the witch was cackling with laughter.

'Lima's' servant was also gone, replace by a short beanish person wearing a red cloak, swirly glasses, and an odd-looking helmet with small rockets on both sides, and a glass container and vacuum at on the top.

The witch's minion activated the vacuum, and sucked in all the green gas, leaving Peach, who was coughing and gasping for air, to collapse on the floor.

The Witch: Yesss….Princess Peach's voice…is MINE!"

She snapped her fingers, and immediately a pink hovering chair burst into the throne room. She sat on it and flew out the window, followed by her minion, who was flying using the mini-rockets on his helmet.

The two villains escaped to the skies, their mission accomplished, and their evil plan ready to unfold.

The sun shone down brightly on the house of the Mario Bros., professional plumbers and famous heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom. On the house's front lawn, Luigi, the green-clad Mario Bro. was doing the laundry, hanging up his and his brother's clothes.

In the distance, a panicking Toad ran up to the house and approached Luigi and screamed.

Toad: E-E-E-Emergency situation!

Luigi: Eh?

Toad: Did you see the Kingdom Courier?

Luigi: Uh…what?

Toad: Oh, I don't have time for this!

Toad dashed past Luigi, sending him tumbling to the ground with a "Hey!" and into the house.

Toad: MARIOOOOOO!

The Toad called out his name, but no one was answering. However, the Toad could hear a faint humming sound. He followed the noise as it grew louder and he stopped in front of an open door. Without thinking, he walked right in…

Toad: EEEK!

…and promptly walked back out, face blushing a deep red. Apparently, he had accidentally gone into the bathroom, and walked in on something he shouldn't have seen.

The Toad ran around in circles until he rammed right into the wall and collapsed on the ground.

Mario, who was wearing nothing except the towel on his waist, walked out of the bathroom, and approached the Toad, confused.

Mario: Hey, what's-a wrong?

Toad: Princess Peach…Princess Peach…"

That was all the Toad could groan.

Without another word, Mario immediately rushed out the door and straight to the clothesline.

Luigi: Hey bro, what's-a up-

Mario: No time to waste, brother! Let's-a go!

And with that, Mario immediately snatched his clothes and put them on, before making a beeline for Peach's Castle. However, he didn't notice that the clothesline was still attached to his foot, and poor Luigi was tangled up in it.

Luigi: Waaaah!

Luigi had cried out as he was literally dragged off.

Back at Peach's Castle, someone else had beaten the Mario Bros. to the princess. But this creature had less than noble intentions for her. He resembled a monstrous turtle, with a yellow body, horns on the sides of his head, and a large, green, spiked shell.

In other words, he was Bowser, the Koopa King, archenemy of Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom. And he was here to (once again) kidnap the princess.

Bowser: Grr, why won't you give her up already?!

Bowser growled at the two cowering Toads flanking the princess.

Just then, the doors to the castle burst open as Mario rushed in unexpectedly, though halted at the sight of his worst enemy. However, this caused Luigi (who was still tangled up in the clothesline) to be sent flying right into Bowser's back, knocking the Koopa King over.

Bowser roared and turned around to face the brothers; Luigi pretty much scurried and hid behind Mario's back.

Bowser: Attacking me when my back is turned, huh?! Well, that's typical! C'mere, Super Coward Bros.!

The legendary battle begun once again as Mario stepped forward in confrontation. He started off with a jump to Bowser's head that seemed to deal a good amount of damage. Bowser responded by breathing his signature flame, though Mario dodged that easily with a jump.

Bowser: ROOOAAARRR!

One of the panicking Toad pleaded to Mario.

Toad: Mario, please, defeat Bowser, just like you always do!

Mario didn't need to be told twice. He landed another jump on Bowser and dodged more of the monster turtle's flame. This went on for a while, with Mario landing more hits on Bowser while dodging his attacks. At the same time, Luigi, who was initially panicking, was slowly cheering on his brother when it was clear he was winning.

Mario: Take this!

Mario landed a rather nasty stomp on Bowser's head. The Koopa King seemed to be really faltering from all the damage he was taking.

The Toads cheered for Mario's heroism.

Toads: Wahoo! That's our hero! Just as expected!

Bowser: Urk…Arrgh…

Bowser groaned. Then he collapsed to the floor.

Bowser laid on the ground for a few moments, before he jumped back up, having suddenly realized something.

Bowser: Uh… W-wait a second! Listen…this is no time for fighting! Even though I would've won!

Mario: *mumbles* Yeah right.

Toad: Listen to me, everyone! Something terrible has happened!

Mario finally noticed the situation, from the panicking Toads to the crying princess.

Mario: Wait, what's-a going on? What happened here?

Toad: The Goodwill Ambassador from our neighbor, the Beanbean Kingdom, just paid a visit!

Mario: Lady Lima? What's-a she got to do with this?

Toad: It was no friendly visit! It was an impostor, and she stole Princess Peach's voice!

Peach tried to say something, but all that came out of her mouth was purple smoke, that caused small explosions after a few seconds.

Toad: …and replaced it with this explosive vocabulary!

Mario, Luigi, and Bowser dived out of the way as the princess coughed out more explosive smoke.

Bowser: Gah! If I kidnap Princess Peach in this state, she'll wreck my castle! Mario! Do something super!

Mario: Well, what do you expect me to do?!

Toad: Mario! Please! Go and retrieve Princess Peach's beautiful voice! Only you can do it!

Another Toad: The perpetrator came from the Beanbean Kingdom! If you head over there, you should be able to learn more!

Bowser: Bwa ha ha ha! Yes! Go, capture that fiend, and get back Peach's voice! And then I can kidnap her!

Mario: …Alright, I'll-a do it.

Bowser informed Mario on what to do next.

Bowser: We'll take my Koopa Cruiser and reach the Beanbean Kingdom in no time! Mario! We leave immediately!

Peach tried to say something, but instead coughed out a much larger cloud of smoke than usual.

Bowser: Hit the deck!

BOOM!

Toad: So, off on an adventure again, eh, Mario?

A Toad asked Mario, who was now in Toad Town Square. This was the location that Mario had agreed to meet Bowser on, as he waited for the Koopa Cruiser to arrive.

Mario: That's-a right.

Toad: I just hope your long vacation hasn't left you out of shape.

Mario patted his belly. Even though he was a little on the chubby side, that didn't stop him one bit from every time he's rescued Peach from Bowser's clutches.

Toad: You can stretch out and warm up here in this plaza. Oh, and I'd talk to everyone around here. Who knows what you might learn?

Mario decided to walk around the plaza for a bit, but other than helping out a few Toads (and getting a few Mushrooms as a reward) and pointing a Koopa Troopa in the right direction, most everyone in the plaza didn't seem to have anything too interesting to say or do, so Mario instead headed north, where he briefly met up with his brother.

???: Master Mario!

Mario and around and saw an elderly Toad approach them, while rolling around on a brown suitcase.

Mario: Hm? How can I help you, Toadsworth?

Toadsworth: It would appear that I'm just in time! I have prepared a suitcase for you to take with you on your long journey! I'm quite sure it will prove useful, as it holds many items and outfits. Please take it!

Mario: Okie.

Mario relieved Toadsworth of the suitcase.

Toadsworth: As you know, Master Mario, you can store any items you've found on your journey in here, and you can also change your clothes later on. You could even store something that could help with any status you may have. Once you board the Koopa Cruiser you can take your time and look through the many things packed in there."

Mario nodded as he took a brief look inside the suitcase.

ToadsNow then, I have one more parting gift, as it were: some funds for your trip! Here you go…"

Toadsworth handed over a small brown pouch to Mario.

Toadsworth: 100 coins! That should be enough.

Toadsworth then noticed Luigi behind Mario.

Toadsworth: Oh, gracious! Master Luigi! Are you going to the Beanbean Kingdom as well?

Luigi: Oh n-no, I'm-a staying behind.

Toadsworth: Ah, you're just seeing Master Mario off? A capital idea! I believe I'll join you.

He turned to Mario.

Toadsworth: Master Mario! I'm going on ahead. I shall be waiting for you in front of the Koopa Cruiser.

With that, he went off.

Bowser: MARIO!

Bowser bellowed Mario's name as he arrived at the departure point. The Koopa King was standing on a large, teal airship that bore his likeness on its front.

Bowser: You're late! What were you doing? We're leaving! Right now! So get on board, and make it snappy!

Mario: Yes, I'm-a coming…

Mario jumped up to the deck of the ship.

Bowser: Gwa ha ha ha! Well? So? What do you think? Incredible, isn't it? This is my newest weapon: the Koopa Cruiser!

Mario: It's-a. . .nice."

Mario said that for a lack of better words.

Bowser took a quick inspection of the cruiser.

Bowser: Hmm. . . yes, very good. . . Now all I need are my Baddies…

Bowser turned to the side and yelled.

Bowser: Bowser Baddies!"

However, no one was there (besides Toadsworth, a Toad, and a Koopa Troopa) except a waving Luigi.

Bowser: GAAH! Where are they?!

He then noticed Luigi.

Bowser: Huh? What in green blazes…? Hey! You! Are you signing up to join my crew of Bowser Baddies?

Luigi was still hopping in place, apparently not paying attention.

Bowser: I see! I see! You want me to bring you along that badly, huh?

Luigi: What?

Luigi was then snapped to attention.

Bowser: Yes, you!

Luigi: N-no!

Bowser: Bwa ha ha har! That's rich! Don't be modest, Mr. Green! I mean, you look like a real pain, but I'll take you anyway!

Mario: His name is Luigi.

Mario crossed his arms. But Bowser wasn't listening.

Luigi slowly backed away and tried to make a break for it.

Bowser: Hey you! Stop!

Just then, a Koopa Troopa rushed into the scene, knocking Luigi back several steps.

Koopa: Your Gnarliness! The Baddies have just arrived!

He then turned behind.

Koopa: Hey! The assembly area is over here, you blithering idiots!

At that, several more of Bowser's minions, such as Goombas and more Koopa Troopas arrived at the area.

Koopa: Baddies! Faaaaaall in!

The entire squadron got in formation.

Koopa: Now, mooove out!

The Baddies marched forward, inadvertently knocking Luigi back even more and nearer to the Koopa Cruiser.

Koopa: All Baddies have assembled! We shall now begin boarding the Koopa Cruiser!

While the Baddies were boarding the cruiser, Luigi quietly tried to sneak away from the cruiser while Bowser was laughing to himself.

Bowser: War har har! Good! Now we can depart! And with an increased head count, too! Excellent!

Koopa: Your Filthiness, boarding is now complete! Except for one deserter. . .

Bowser: WHAAAAT?! Move it, you idiots! Initiate Cruiser pursuit!

The Koopa Cruiser suddenly rose up in the air, and Mario was panicking, not because of the sudden takeoff, but rather because of the Cruiser's apparent target: Luigi.

Mario: No, wait-

"Bah, you just stay in the cargo hold for now." Bowser interrupted before he pushed a button, causing a trapdoor to open where Mario stood, dropping him down to the bottom of the ship.

Mario: That's-a my brotherrrrrrrrrrr!"

Mario screamed as he fell.

Meanwhile, Luigi was running for his life from the Koopa Cruiser, which now had a claw extending from its 'mouth'. However, the cruiser was simply too fast, and managed to nab him.

Luigi: Mamma Mia…"

Luigi was then dragged inside the ship.

Needless to say, it wasn't a good day for the Mario Bros.

After this moment, Mario and Luigi went on a grand adventure to save Peach and The Mushroom Kingdom once again. And Mario would never be alone as long as his friends were by his side.

But now . . . how is he doing in Equestria?

Equestria, Present Day Ponyville

Down below, in Ponyville it was just another normal day like usual where ponies walk around, go and shop, eat some food at restaurants, and hang out with their friends in general.

There was one man that was feeling the best time of his life right now in Equestria as he was giving some foals some free and fast rides around the town as he decided to do something new that he hasn't done in Equestria yet. Race around in his Kart from Mariokart.

And it's-a me, Mario!

(Play favorite Mario Kart Music)

Mario was carrying a tiny little earth pony filly on his back while driving fast in his Standard Kart and she was screaming loud like she was having the time of her life right now.

Filly: I'M. . . ACTUALLY RACING WITH THE HERO OF EQUESTRIA RIGHT NOW! WOO-HOO!

Mario: Hahaha! Glad your enjoying it, kid! Ever driven in a kart before.

Filly: Nuh-uh! I'M HAVING SUCH A BLAST RIGHT NOW!

Mario then drifted in one place as sparks became to form under my tire, turning them into hello as he ended the drift and got a little boost from it, me and the filly exclaiming in happiness.

Mario: Wanna do something cool?!

Filly: DO I?!

Mario then sees item block in front of him. He manages to get one as it slots to get an item for Mario. It landed on a Super Mushroom as Mario held it in one hand and drove with the other hand. Mario then drifted again as this time he only got blue sparks, but once he let go, he used his Super Mushroom, getting a huge boost as he also came off of a ramp, making him and the filly preform a trick in the air.

Filly: YEAH! THAT WAS AMAZING!

Mario: YEAH HAHA!

Mario and the filly then pump one fist/hoof in the air to exclaim at once.

Mario & Filly: WAHOO!

Mario then sees that they're about to drive on walls around town as he sees Antigravity panels on them. Mario and the Filly look at each other and nodded to each other in agreement as Mario pushed down on his pedal to drive at a faster speed as he pay by the panel, activating his Antigravity wheel as the two now drove on walls. Mario then tossed the filly up in the air to catch her once again.

Mario then drive over to where a really large group of foals were as they looked to be all waiting for him to him to be finished with giving this filly a ride. He places her down to join the little group as he smiles down at the them.

(End Music)

Colt: Me next! Me next!

Filly 2: Prince Mario! Pick me! Pick me!

Colt 2: I want a turn!

Colt 3: Me! Me! Me!

Mario: Sorry guys, apparently that will the last ride I give for awhile now.

The foals all moaned in disappointment from that as they were probably dying to have a ride with Mario.

Foals: Awww!

Mario: But don't-a worry kids, as long as I'm-a alive, I'll-a be to make sure that you all get a turn! Oh yeah!

The foals instantly cheered up from that and cheered for Mario as it made hum feel very proud that he inspires a lot of little ones.

Mario: But let's-a keep this our little secret okay?

The foals all nod and agreed to my plea.

Mario: Buh bye!

Mario then drives off at a fast speed leaving the foals with happy expressions.

Filly: Prince Mario is so awesome!

Colt: I know, I wish I could be just like him someday! A hero!

(Play favorite Super Mario Theme)

Mario was driving through Ponyville at a fast speed heading towards his house.

Once he arrived, he parked his Kart right next to his house as he went into his house and went into his training room and immediately set up a Mario close and became platforming on it.

Mario: Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Wahoo!

Mario does a plethora of things while in the course, from stomping on enemies, to jumping and and preforming insane tricks, getting Power Ups and fining the secret Star Coins.

Mario then sees the flagpole at the end of the course as he preformed one high jump and lands right on the top and slides down, cueing the Course Clear fanfare.

Mario: Oh yeah! Mario time!

Mario then tips his hat the the camera.

Mario: Come on! I'll-a show you guys what else I do here.

Mario then gives off a tour of his house to show all that he does.

First there is the library where he reads many different types of books. His favorite books were from the Daring Do series.

Mario: Wow! I love this series so much.

Mario then shows off his kitchen where he is seen cooking a meal that was made from Super Nintendo World, the Mario Burger. Mario eats the Mario style burger and fries and he exclaimed happily for how good it came out.

Mario: Yes! Haha! That's-a pretty good.

Next, Mario then shows his training room where he was recently, but now he has his test dummy in front of him and wanted to practice a Power Up. Mario makes a question block appear above him as he jumps up and smashes it. Out came a Super Mushroom Power Up as he ate it and increase his size. Now Giant Mario then attacked the test dummy as he jump punches it into the air and jumps right at it and slams it back into the ground with a ground pound. Mari then jumped backwards and reduced back to his regular size.

Mario: Yippee!

Mario then shows the audience his game room where he has a Mario themed game room, with a large flatscreen TV with his Nintendo Switch and the many games he has such as Super Mario Odyssey, Mariokart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario Party, Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Super Mario 3d World Bowser's Fury and so much more. Mario decided to play Smash Bros. as he played a match against him and Sonic. Mario was able to win the fight as the Smash Announcer declared him as the winner.

Smash Announcer: Mario wins!

Mario: Yeah! Mario win! Wahoo!

Mario then walks into his bedroom as he then sees a photo on his nightstand. This photo contains probably the greatest thing that he's ever got in Equestria.

The photo is revealed to be me around six mares in a group hug which he smiles and give a dreamy sigh too. These were his best friends in all of Equestria. That's right, six mares and they were all probably the best thing that he could ask for in this world. Their names were Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. They were known to all of Equestria as the Elements of Harmony.

Mario: I know what you're-a thinking? Elements of Harmony? What exactly is my special relationship with these mares? Well, you're-a about to find out. Let's-a go.

Mario gets an idea to see how my friends were doing as he makes a warp pipe appear in front of him as he jumps into it and warps out of his house.

Mario now seen running as he jumps on top of a hill to gaze out on the entire town of Ponyville. Ponyville to him is the greatest place on Equestria. The ponies all around town are super nice and peaceful.

Mario jumps down at high speed into Ponyville as he lands on top of a roof to take a look at all of the ponies walking about in the area of Ponyville. These ponies are Mario's new subjects and dare he say, he just loves them all with a passion and they really look up to me as he became the Hero of Equestria and also their new prince.

However, let's stop talking about Mario and start talking about these six mares that he fell in love with after a little while. Come on!

Mario see Sugarcube Corner in the distance and ran down to gaze inside the window to see the very first candidate of being my potential girlfriend. Pinkie Pie.

She was inside of Sugarcube Corner helping out some customers with her same normal and happy-go-lucky self. She was serving a unicorn mare with a frizzy mane.

Pinkie Pie: What? I thought you said that you wanted your cupcakes "to go?!"

Frizzy-Maned Mare: I. . . did.

Pinkie Pie: Well, congratulations!

Pinkie then pulls out a box of a baker dozen cupcakes and attaches them all to a helicopter-like device which activates and starts to hover up into the air.

Pinkie Pie: 'Cuz there it goes!

The mare raised an eyebrow at her order being in the air like that before she just chuckles and takes the box with her magic.

Frizzy-Maned Mare: *chuckles* That's kind of funny, Pinkie. Thank you.

Pinkie Pie: But remember you always to leave Sugarcube Corner with both your sweets. . .

She then shoves a cupcake into the mares mouth surprising her as she just ate it instantly.

Pinkie Pie: . . .And a smile!

The mare does so and smiles at Pinkie's antics as her laughter is able to make anypony.

Mario was still outside gazing in the window looking at Pinkie as he lets out a dreamy sigh with a lovesick expression. Pinkie Pie was the mare that he could smile at by just looking at her. How could he not say she wasn't adorable? She's funny, bubbly, hyperactive, and she literally just wants to make everypony in Ponyville smile. Sure, some ponies find her personality to be a bit overwhelming or annoying, but not Mario. She was just a cute pink mare that he loves.

However. . . she wasn't the only one.

Mario runs off to go and see the next candidate of being his potential girlfriend.

Mario jumps down over at Carousel Boutique where the next mare that could become my potential girlfriend is. Mario peeked inside of a window to see none other than the beautiful fashionista herself Rarity as she was trying to help out a Pegasus stallion with picking out some new clothes. Rarity was running back and forth through her shop picking out some cloth that she should use while the stallion just stares at her in confusion.

Pegasus Stallion: Miss Rarity, I assure you. I'm just going on a simple outing with a friend. You really don't need to make such a big deal out of this.

Rarity: Excuse me darling, but over here at Carousel Boutique, there is no such thing as too little or too much. I always want to ensure that you will impress any type of mare out there with style.

Pegasus Stallion: Well. . . if you insist.

Rarity: Trust me, I do.

Rarity then runs on over to a basket where she had an assorted amount of gems.

Rarity: Rubies?! No! That would look dreadful on your suit! Hmm, sapphire? Not a bad decision, but not good enough!

Rarity keeps running through her gems before she gasps and comes across the exact one that she was looking for.

Rarity: Ah yes! If there is anything that would look more dapper for you, darling, it would be gold!

Pegasus Stallion: Gold?

Rarity then grabs the stallion and pushes him behind a wardrobe screen and starts to go to work with giving this stallion the brand new and improved suit that he asked for.

Pegasus Stallion: Ah! Miss Rarity, what are you! Ow! Okay, thank you, but. . . Ack! A little tight there!

Soon enough, Rarity removes the wardrobe screen to reveal that the stallion was now dressed in a very formal suit wearing a teal suit with some silver linings. The gold that Rarity used to help make the stallions suit was organized on both his chest and his hooves forming them into somewhat of a line.

Pegasus Stallion: Whoa!

Rarity: Darling, you look smashing.

Pegasus Stallion: Thank you very much, Miss Rarity you didn't have to do this.

Rarity: Oh no, darling. This is something that I had to do entirely. Please, I would never let anypony go out with another pony looking so. . . simple.

Mario looks at Rarity with her pleased customer and was just astonished that she gave this guy more than he asked for. That's the thing he loved about Rarity. She may look very beautiful, elegant, high class, and sophisticated like many ponies in Canterlot, but the one thing that makes her different than some of those uptight and snobby ponies, is that she loves to give more than what you ask for. She's so generous and beautiful that many stallions out there are just captivated by her looks in general. However, Mario sees way past her beauty. She been one of his best friends that he fell in love with for awhile now that Mario just wonders what it would be like if we got together.

Mario then leaves Carousel Boutique to run on over and see his next potential girlfriend.

Mario runs on over to the farm of Sweet Apple Acres and jumps on the roof of the barn. Mario looked around for the exact of who he was looking for and sure enough he sees her down in the apple orchard bucking some trees to knock some apples down into buckets.

This was another mare that Mario loved very much and she was the more country type mare around Ponyville who works at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack.

She was currently bucking some trees down in the apple orchard just like she does on most of her days at the farm along with her family. She bucks down to knock some more apples in the buckets as notices a few different ones which gave her a determined smile.

Applejack: Hey, Apple Bloom! We got some bruised apples down here!

Her little sister Apple Bloom then approaches with a basket on her head.

Apple Bloom: On it, sis!

Applejack then bucks some the head bruised apples into the air so that Apple Bloom can catch them. They are really good sisters if you asked Mario. In fact, the entire Apple family is a good family. They're relationship with on another makes Mario wish that I was still with his friends back in The Mushroom Kingdom.

Once Applejack finished bucking some the dirty apples into the bucket that Apple Bloom was carrying, she wipes some sweat off of her forehead.

Applejack: Good work there sugarcube. Why don't take those out to the pig pen so we can feed those rotten apples to 'em.

Apple Bloom: No problem, Applejack. I've got it covered.

Apple Bloom then tries to walk normally with the basket on her head, but it was a little difficult as she tries to balance the slightly heavy bucket on her head. Mario was watching the entire scene as he chuckles at the two before looking back at Applejack with a look of being in love.

That's the thing about Applejack, she's so hard working and dependable. In fact, she's probably one of the most honest ponies that Mario's ever met. They hanged out all of the time too. Sometimes he would come to help her out with her chores, drink apple cider, eat apple pie together, and even more. Sure, Mario hated it when she get's incredibly stubborn at times, but she knows better that her friends will always be there to help her out when needed. And honestly, she would the perfect mare for him to hook up with.

Mario then jumps up in the clouds to go and find the next candidate of being my potential girlfriend.

Mario was up in the clouds searching for a Pegasus mare that does a lot of weather jobs in Ponyville and sure enough, he sees her blaze past him in the air in a rainbow streak. That was Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash flies around through the air before going to get a bunch of clouds that were just laying in the air all by themselves and gathered them up.

Rainbow Dash: Ponyville in the East is going to need some rain, so it's time to Dash!

Once Rainbow Dash finishes gathering up all of the rain clouds that she needs to water Ponyville with. She looks at all of them before getting an idea in her head.

Rainbow Dash: Hmm, maybe I have a little for just one little gag.

Rainbow then takes one the clouds and lowers it down till its just slightly above a nearby roof in Ponyville. Mario wanted to take a closer look to see how this will go as it will probably be a funny prank. Rainbow Dash is well known for doing a lot of pranks in Ponyville, however sometimes she takes them too far and we have to ridicule her about it.

Rainbow Dash then sees a mare walking right beside a hay bale and she get's a mischievous smirk on her face. She then turns to get ready and buck the cloud.

Rainbow Dash: Steady. . . steady. . .

Once the mare got in range of where Rainbow Dash wanted her to be, she bucks the cloud hard causing a loud thunder and some lightning produced a little as well. The prank was successful as the mare jumped and yelped.

Mare: GAHH!!

She instantly hides behind a hay bale shaking a little in fear before she hears some laughter and she peeks out to see Rainbow Dash laughing her flank off. The mare just gives Rainbow Dash a playful smirk.

Mare: You just don't know when to stop do you, Rainbow Dash?

Rainbow Dash: *laughs* What can I say? I can't turn down a good prank when I have the opportunity.

Mario was just above Rainbow Dash in a cloud and he laughed a little as well at seeing the whole prank happen.

Rainbow Dash was indeed another candidate for being Mario's potential girlfriend. She's an amazing flyer, better than me. Mario has seen her perform a sonic rainboom many times. She's very athletic, confident, and she'll always stick up for her friends because she's more loyal than anypony out in Ponyville. Dash and Mario have raced lots of times together and played some innocent pranks on some ponies in Ponyville. Her only flaws to me though is that she can a bit egotistical and reckless when comes to being competitive, but other than that whenever he's with her, his times aren't boring at all.

Mario go to then jump and see his next potential girlfriend.

Near the Everfree Forest, Mario runs towards a lonely little and cute cottage that belonged to another one of the sweetest mares that he's ever known. Mario hears some commotion going on behind the cottage and he jumps up onto the roof and look into the backyard and see the next mare that he indeed loved as well. Fluttershy. Can there not be an even more adorable creature in this world than her?

Fluttershy was currently feeding some of the animals in her backyard as she was humming to herself beautifully while doing it. She pours a little bit of birdfeed on a birdhouse.

Fluttershy: La la la la la There you go mister blue jay.

The said bird comes out of it's birdhouse and chirps happily before it starts to eat it's lunch.

Fluttershy: Look at you all nice and cozy in your little home.

She then hears what sounds to be some noises of distress and looks behind her to gasp and see a little brown rabbit has broken it's foot and it was crying while it's other friends were worried for it.

Fluttershy: Oh, my goodness!

Fluttershy then instantly runs inside of her cottage and then after about a minute she came back out with a first aid kit that looked to be for animals. She pulls out a white cast and instantly wraps it around the rabbit's foot as tightly as she could. Once she was finished, she picks up the rabbit and places down on a tiny little hammock.

Fluttershy: Don't worry, you'll be just fine.

The rabbit smiles as it wipes it's tears seeing how much Fluttershy cares for it. Some more birds come to Fluttershy and chirp some things to her which sounds like chirps of gratitude which she smiles and blushes from.

Fluttershy: Thank you, little friends. I just love to see you all safe and sound.

Mario looks down and let out a dreamy sigh at seeing how Fluttershy was able to handle that situation. Fluttershy was another potential girlfriend for him. She's super kind to not only ponies, but animals as well and that's something that makes her so sweet. Most of the time Mario sees her with her animals since she's not really much of a social type pony. When they first met, she was awfully shy around Mario, but soon she loved it when he came over to her cottage as he sometimes comes to see the animals or have some tea with her. Sometimes Mario even helped Fluttershy to get better with her social skills or being a bit more brave, but he never forced her to do something that she doesn't want to do. What kind of friend would he be if he did that?

As Mario kept looking down at Fluttershy, he felt a tap on his shoulder as he looked to his left and see Fluttershy's pet bunny Angel playfully smirking at him. Mario went wide-eyed and blushed knowing what he was implying.

Mario: . . .P-Please don't-a tell her you saw me.

Angel motions his paw across his mouth to say that his lips were sealed, but he was still smirking at me. Mario could only sheepishly smile as Mario slowly run away to go back to where Ponyville was.

Back in Ponyville, Mario was platforming around the town at high speed over the town hall as Mayor Mare saw me and waved to me and he waved back. Mario was actually heading towards the final candidate of becoming his potential girlfriend and fun fact, she and him live pretty close together.

Mario jumps on over to where the Golden Oak Library was and he take a peek inside of the window to see not only his closest friend, but also somepony who he loved just as much as the other mares. She was busy reorganizing the books in the library along with her tiny assistant who was a dragon, his name was Spike. The last mare who was in there however was not only reorganizing, but also taking a look at some other book as well. This was Twilight Sparkle or should Mario say, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle: Spike, I need you to put all of these books over at that shelf in the corner.

Spike who was already struggling to carry about a dozen books nods as he walks slowly to go and place them where Twilight wanted them.

Spike: *grunts* Twilight, why do we have to reshelf the library every month? I don't get it.

Twilight Sparkle: It's always boring just staring the same old thing everyday, Spike. Sometimes, I want to organize them alphabetically, by color, series, genre, you name it. That's why every month is re-shelfing day. And it's not like these books are going anywhere, I even hid some important ones all over the library in case of an emergency.

Spike: *grunts* I'm guessing that's how you found the book that had the Legend of. . . *grunts* the Mirror Pond in it?

Twilight Sparkle: You bet. I mean that's exactly how I'm able to memorize exactly every book in this library. It's piece of cake. You've got the-

Spike: Please don't! You've already what every book in the library is four times. I'm sure I get it now.

Twilight Sparkle: Eh, if you insist.

Spike grunts once more as he was still struggling to carry all of the books he had in his claws. Twilight however, continues to both read and reorganize the library at the same time. Mario has no idea how she does it. He simply looked inside and chuckle a little from seeing how much Twilight likes to be organized.

Twilight and Mario have several things in common. We both wanted to learn what friendship was more like ever since we stopped Nightmare Moon, we both have Princess Celestia as our mentor and guide for anything, and. . . we both have deep feelings for one another. Twilight is the smartest mare that Mario's ever met in my life. If you need something to be well organized somewhere then she's the right girl to call. Sure, she may overreact and get stressed out when she's on a schedule or sometimes she get's a little too organized, but Twilight and Mario have done so much together that even he's surprised that they're not even a couple yet.

So yeah, those are the six mares that Mario loves and he mean that he LOVES them. . . but there is just one problem.

Mario teleport down onto the ground and looks at the ground solemnly.

Mario: I. . . just. . . can't-a choose between one of them?

Mario looks back up at the Golden Oak Library and hear a tiny crash coming from inside.

Twilight Sparkle: *muffled* Ack! Spike!

Spike: *muffled* I couldn't help it! You made me carry so many books!

Mario smiled and thought of Twilight once again before his smile fades thinking of the other girls as well. The thought came to him once again as he turned to walk back home with a depressed expression on my face. There is one thing that he's afraid of. . .

Mario loves his friends, but. . . if he chooses one over the other. . . he'll make them upset. And then. . . he could possibly become all alone. . . and he doesn't want that.

It was now the evening as inside of the Golden Oak Library, Twilight and Spike were just finishing up reorganizing the library. Twilight levitates the last book that she found and puts in on an empty spot on the shelf.

Twilight Sparkle: *sighs* Finally, after a long day and a slightly huge mess, we're finally done reorganizing the library.

Spike: Great, cause now I feel like I have to either take another seven hour bubble bath or go to sleep for like 15 hours.

Twilight gives a judgmental look at Spike.

Twilight Sparkle: Spike, now that I'm a princess you know for a fact that I won't be able to allow that as much. Princess Celestia made Mario and I part of their royalty, and I was paired with Mario. It's like a dream come true.

Twilight let's out a dreamy sigh from that which makes Spike roll his eyes before he asks Twilight another question.

Spike: Why haven't you even asked him out, yet? You two have been in love for each other for. . . well, the last time I can remember.

Twilight Sparkle: Trust me, Spike. I do want to ask him out, I really do. I want to be his girlfriend so bad, but. . . not while our friends have the same feelings for him as well.

Spike goes wide-eyed from that in surprise.

Spike: Really? I know for a fact that Rarity and Pinkie Pie are also really into him, but Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy are into him as well.

Twilight Sparkle: We all found this out after Hearts and Hooves Day remember?

Spike: Oh. . . right.

Twilight then walks on over to her desk and just rests a hoof on her cheek.

Twilight Sparkle: Still, it bothers me everyday. I'm sure our friends are the same way as well. Mario has been my best friend ever since I moved into Ponyville and. . . I just know for a fact that he's the one for me.

Spike: You also did say that in your diary.

Twilight Sparkle: I know I did. Thanks, captain obvious.

Spike: Says the same pony who doesn't even try or even just fails to hide her own feelings for somepony she likes let alone loves.

Twilight get's slightly annoyed from that.

Twilight Sparkle: Ugh! Touche.

Spike then starts get ready to walk back upstairs, but he wasn't looking where he was going.

Spike: Look Twilight, this is just my opinion, but you need let go of those feelings some-

Spike then clumsily slips on book that he most likely left out lifting both himself and the book in the air.

Spike: DAAAAAAAY!

Twilight looks back at Spike and sees the book flying through the air towards her and she caught it just in time with her magic. Spike just lands flat on his back.

Twilight Sparkle: Spike, I told you to check, double check, and triple check that we had every book in the library in the shelves.

Spike looks back at Twilight with a sheepish smile while holding up a finger.

Spike: *nervous chuckle* I double checked. . . but didn't triple check.

Twilight Sparkle: Glad your learning "something" about being neat and tidy.

Spike just deadpans at Twilight patronizing him. Twilight then looks at the cover of the book that she was currently holding.

Twilight Sparkle: Huh. "Ancient Equestrian History." I used to be into these kinds of books back when we lived in Canterlot.

Spike walks up right next to Twilight to also take a look at the book.

Spike: Huh. What exactly did ancient Equestria have back in the day?

Twilight Sparkle: It was way before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, so most likely had to do with Gusty the Great and Peach. I'm surprised that I didn't even recognized Peach's name when it was first mentioned by Princess Celestia when we stopped Nightmare Moon.

Twilight blows on the book to knock some dust off before she opens to take a read in it.

Twilight Sparkle: Ancient Equestria Artifacts, Ancient Equestria Heroes. . . wow, heh, there's even Ancient Equestria Laws.

Spike: Laws? Like what?

Twilight then turns to the page that Spike wanted her to turn to so that she could read what laws Equestria had back in ancient times.

Twilight Sparkle: There's the "Neutral Magic" law where it states that anypony is free to use any kinds of magic that they desire, let it be good or dark magic. Reminds me of the time we had to use that spell to change the castle in the Crystal Empire.

Spike: Is there more?

Twilight Sparkle: There's also a "Pony Bias" law, where your not allowed to say that one gender or type of pony like a Pegasus or Unicorn is better than the other.

Spike: Like on Hearth's Warming Eve?

Twilight Sparkle: Pretty much, yeah. Guess this was made to try and prevent the Windigos from ever setting a hoof in Equestria again.

Spike: Anything else?

Twilight Sparkle: Huh. There's even a "Herding Law."

Spike: Herding Law? That sounds kind of weird, what is it?

Twilight Sparkle: It's says here that it allows one stallion to be engaged with multiple mares at once.

Spike got a very bewildered look from that.

Spike: That's. . . kind of. . . how do I say it. . .? Mystifying?

Twilight Sparkle: Well, Spike, it says here that if this law wasn't made then Equestria would've gone extinct.

Spike was surprised from that as he continues to read alongside Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: During the early days of Equestria, an accident happened to where many mares who gave birth to fillies outnumbered the mares who gave birth to colts. This resulted in Equestria's gender ratio to become seventy five to twenty five with the majority being mares in Equestria. This was without doubt a near crisis in Equestria at the time as if this kept on going, then we would not have any more ponies in Equestria.

Spike: So what was done to prevent to it?

Twilight Sparkle: I'm getting to that. Unicorns tried to find many alternatives into using their magic to fix this gender ratio, but sadly there was no known spell at the time that could fix the problem. So apparently thanks to Peach,who was not just the ruler of The Mushroom Kingdom, but also the ruler of Equestria before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna made law that stallions are allowed to have a herd or harem with many mares so that they could produce more children. And once that was passed, all of Equestria was in balance with gender once again.

Spike: How come we don't see any of that today?

Twilight Sparkle: Because listen to this, this law would be effective for if the mares love the same stallion so that they can form their herd. If a stallion tries to force multiple marriages on with multiple mares, they shall either be imprisoned for a thousand moons or have one of their legs cut off.

Spike cringes from that.

Spike: Ouch!

Twilight Sparkle: This went all the back to where Equestria was just developing, Spike. It shouldn't be too surprising that ponies would forget about this kind of law.

Twilight smiles before she then closes the book and places it back on an empty hole on the shelf.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, thank goodness that we don't have to worry about that anymore. We have plenty of each gender so that they both stay equal.

However, just as Twilight said that, she got a perplexed expression as she thought about what she just read for a moment. She knows for a fact that she loves Mario and that her friends do too.

Twilight Sparkle: Unless. . .

She takes a look at the book that she just read before back to the ground in confusion before it slowly turns to realization as her eyes slowly widen in astonishment.

Twilight Sparkle: One human. .? Multiple Mares. . .?!

It was now that was able to piece everything together of what she just read to herself. . .

Mario could have a harem as well.

Twilight then gives a huge smile on her face and gasps with enormous delight.

Twilight Sparkle: *gasps* THAT'S IT!

Spike was surprised at Twilight's sudden outburst.

Spike: Whoa! What's it, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: Spike, don't you see?! I've finally figured it all out! I don't have to have Mario as my boyfriend alone!

Spike: Wait, really?

Twilight Sparkle: Go get our friends! I have a feeling that this will make them just as surprised as I am!

Later on, Spike did what he said and was able to get the rest of the mares to come to the library. They were a little confused to why Twilight called a meeting for them so suddenly, but knew that it had to have been important if she called all of them there.

Applejack: Alright, princess. We're here. What was it that ya needed to call all of us here for anyways?

Rainbow Dash: Yeah, Spike told us that this seemed exciting to you.

Twilight Sparkle: I'm going to get right on that, girls.

Rarity: Where is Mario? Shouldn't he be here as well?

Twilight Sparkle: No. What I'm about to tell you all is something that Mario cannot know yet. If he knew what we were talking about, it would probably be a little awkward.

The other mares looked at each other confused from that.

Fluttershy: So what does it involve, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: It's. . . actually about Mario, himself.

Pinkie Pie: Ohh! That makes sense why he can't know! However, my Pinkie Sense is tingling that says what your about to tell us next is going to be confusing for us as well.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, I can't say that won't be entirely be true. Spike, can you fetch the book right quick?

Spike: Sure thing.

Spike runs up on ladder to go and retrieve the book that Twilight had just a few minutes while Twilight continues to talk among her friends.

Twilight Sparkle: As you girls, we all got into a huge fight that one time on Hearts and Hooves Day.

Fluttershy: *shudders* It still makes me feel bad just thinking about it.

Twilight Sparkle: Me too, Fluttershy, but the thing is that you won't feel as bad for what I'm about to ask next.

Applejack: What's that?

Twilight Sparkle: Girls. . . you all. . . love Mario, right?

The girls eyes widened and they all grew silent at that question being asked as it made them all flustered with blushes on their faces.

Fluttershy: Well. . . um. . .

Rarity: That. . .

Rainbow Dash: W-Why are you asking that?

Twilight Sparkle: Girls, I'm not going to get angry with you. I just want to know, do you all love Mario as much as I do?

The silence went on for a few more seconds before Applejack decides to break the silence.

Applejack: Oh, gosh darn it! I do!

Everypony turned to Applejack as she was the first blurt out that she loves Mario.

Applejack: Mario's such a strong and trustworthy guy and overtime I just couldn't help mahself, but just fall for 'em. I'm in love with Mario.

Twilight smiles that Applejack was able to be honest with her answer while the rest of the mares stared at her surprised, but not before Pinkie Pie spoke up.

Pinkie Pie: I love Mario too! He's a guy that can make me smile every time that I see him! He doesn't even mind that I give him tight hugs every time I just want to say hi!

Fluttershy: W-Well. . . I guess I may have fell for him awhile ago as well. He's just. . . so kind and caring towards other ponies and he loves to help a lot with them too. I love Mario.

Rarity: Oh, I can't take it either! Mario is just such a handsome prince that I love to gaze at. He also such a gentleman when it comes to treating a lady. He would rather give up his own life to save the safety of anypony out there. He's so chivalrous like a knight in shining armor.

With that being finished, those four including Twilight smile at being able to say how much they truly care about Mario. . . but there was still one mare missing who forgot to confess as everypony looks at Rainbow Dash. She simply looks at them with uncertainty.

Rainbow Dash: What? Why are you guys staring at me?

They all give a smug look to Rainbow Dash as it took her a second before she blushes and turns her back to them while crossing her forelegs.

Rainbow Dash: No way! There is no possible way that you can get me to say that I've caught feelings for Mario too!

Pinkie Pie: Aw, come on Dashie. No need to be a tsundere.

Rainbow Dash: I'm not a tsundere! I-I just. . . happen to. . . blush every time he's around. Yeah, that's it!

Applejack: Rainbow Dash. . .

Twilight Sparkle: Come on, you can say it.

Rarity: Darling, there is nopony around, but us. You can just admit it.

Rainbow Dash puffed her cheeks a little still blushing before she just sighs in defeat and turns to her friends.

Rainbow Dash: D-Don't. . . take this the wrong way, but. . . yeah. . . I love Mario. . . a lot.

Applejack gives her a smug look.

Applejack: Which way are we suppose to take that?

Rainbow Dash: Ugh! Fine! I really do love Mario a lot! But can you blame me?! He's just so. . . awesome! He's the right type of guy that anypony wants to hang around even me! Plus, he even likes to come and watch all of my flying stunts! It gives me more confidence!

She finished that sentence with her entire face being red and the rest of the mares giggle from that. Rarity then turns to Twilight.

Rarity: Darling, but why did you want us to answer that question?

Twilight Sparkle: *relieved sigh* Because girls. . . we all need to confess our feelings for him.

Applejack: Whoa nelly! Say what now?

Twilight Sparkle: You heard me. We ALL need to tell Mario just how much we love him.

Rainbow Dash: Twilight, I don't if you notice or if becoming a princess has twisted your brain a little. . .

Twilight deadpans at Rainbow when she said that.

Rainbow Dash: But only one of us can be paired with Mario. Isn't that why we never confessed to him on Hearts and Hooves Day?

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, but we no longer have to.

Pinkie Pie: What do you mean, Twilight?

Spike then joins the circle with the ancient Equestria history book. Twilight levitates it out of Spike's claws as she continues to explain.

Twilight Sparkle: This evening, I found this book in the library and apparently one of the pages that I found in here is an ancient Equestrian law to when Peach was in Equestria.

Fluttershy: A law? What is it?

Twilight Sparkle: It's called the Herding law. I already read it and explained it in detail to Spike so I'll make it brief here. A long time ago, this law allowed multiple mares to pair up with one stallion with as long as they all love one another. This called back in the day, a herd or a harem.

The mares were all shocked by this wacky sounding law.

Applejack: Wait, just a apple pickin' minute! You telling us that stallions were allowed to have more than one lover?!

Twilight Sparkle: Yes This happened back during the time when Equestria was just developing.

Rarity: But darling, what does this have to do with us and Mario?

Twilight Sparkle: *chuckles* Girls, I'm suggesting that we can all share Mario as our boyfriend.

The rest of the mares had their eyes so wide open that they could pop out at any second and let out a short pause of silence.

. . .

Mane 5: SHARE?!?!

Twilight Sparkle: Of course.

Applejack: Twilight, you're making less sense than a jackrabbit on roller skates!

Twilight Sparkle: But isn't this something that we all wanted? I mean come on, we've all had these feelings for Mario for way too long now. If one of us can't have him. . . then the next best thing that can happen is that we can share him.

Fluttershy: But how do you that Mario feels the same way for us?

Twilight Sparkle: Girls, I'm one hundred percent sure of it that Mario loves all of us. Maybe he's never confessed to us for the same reason.

Twilight's friends just look all at each other contemplating about this idea that she's suggesting.

Twilight Sparkle: *sighs* Listen, I know that this may seem kind of weird and. . . I would be lying if I said that I don't think the same way. However, I do think that it's for certain that if we want this whole conundrum to stop. . . then I think that this would be the best solution.

Spike: I know I may not seem that I should be involved in this, but I agree with Twilight. You girls having been fawning over Mario for such a long time now that it could start to make you go crazy if you don't do something about it.

Twilight Sparkle: Thanks, Spike. See? Doesn't this all sound like a logical thing to do?

This was really something that the girls wanted and after they heard what Twilight said, it could become true, but a harem isn't really something that anypony would see everyday. The girls all pondered about this on and on before eventually Pinkie hopped forward and vowed her choice.

Pinkie Pie: Aw, fudge cakes! I'll do it!

The rest of her friends who were thinking turned to her in shock.

Rarity: What?! Pinkie dear, you do realize what you are agreeing to right now, don't you?

Pinkie Pie: Of course I do! But I love Mario! And I mean reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreally, REALLY love Mario! He was there for me when I was babysitting the cake twins, he was there for me when we were solving the mystery on the Friendship Express, and he even helped me when I was depressed one time. It just shows how sweet he is.

Rainbow Dash: But Pinkie, what about your parents?! What will they have to say about this?!

Pinkie Pie: Don't worry about it, Dashie. My parents and my sisters want me to be happy, and I'm pretty sure that if they meet somepony like Mario, they will have no choice, but to say "Yes Pinkie Pie!"

She said this before smiling and squeeing. Fluttershy looked at her and down to the floor before she walks forward as well.

Fluttershy: I-I. . . I guess I wouldn't mind sharing, Mario either.

Applejack: What? You too, Fluttershy?

Fluttershy: Mario is just so sweet like Pinkie said. He's helped me many times as well. He helped me get over my fear of dragons, he taught me how to be assertive without being mean, and he even helped me with my stage fright for when we had to get water up to Cloudsdale.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, yeah. You were really awesome back then. Still, is this really what you want Fluttershy?

Fluttershy: Absolutely, I really want this. I really want to be with Mario too.

Applejack: Well, I guess y'all can count me in on this too.

Twilight Sparkle: Really, Applejack? You're in as well?

Applejack: Ya darn tootin'. Mario's not only someone who I think is very good lookin', but as I said you can count on him for just about anything. He helped me with Applebuck season to make sure that I didn't overwork mahself, he was able to help us run Flim and Flam out of Sweet Apple Acres, and he even doesn't mind of being part of the Apple family either. He came to our family reunion. I know for a fact that Big Mac and Granny Smith may go a little cuckoo, but I'm sure they'll be more than happy if I was able to share Mario with y'all.

Rarity then walks up with a smile and an agreeing nod.

Rarity: I wouldn't mind sharing Mario at all either, if that's all okay with the rest of you. I've been meaning to find who I truly love for a while now and it just so happens that he's a prince now. Mario's helpful nature as saved my career as a fashionista and even saved my reputation amongst all of the special friendships that I made in Canterlot. I would love to have Mario as not just my lovable prince.

Twilight Sparkle: Great, I guess that leaves you Rainbow. What do you say?

Rainbow Dash stares at her friends for a minute before she just smiles and nods.

Rainbow Dash: Well. . . I still do think that this is probably the weirdest thing that I'll ever do, but. . . I'm down to not only having Mario as my boyfriend, but also sharing him with you guys as well. He's shown that he can be just as awesome as me. He was able to motivate me into doing my sonic rainboom that took me a lot of moons to do once again. He didn't care if I liked to read Daring Do books and he supported me so well when we were at the Wonderbolts Academy. I'll tell you that he'll definitely be the best boyfriend ever!

Twilight Sparkle: So it's settled then, we all agree to have Mario as our boyfriend?

The rest of the girls nod from that before Applejack turns to Twilight.

Applejack: Say Twilight, why don't ya say how much you love Mario? We haven't heard your explanation on why ya love him so much.

Twilight Sparkle: Oh. . . well. . . I guess I should start by saying that Mario was the very first friend that I made when I first arrived here down in Ponyville. When he first gave me a tour around Ponvyille, I thought he would just be a nuisance. However. . . with how nice he acted towards me and when he told me that he'll help me stop Nightmare Moon, showed me how compassionate and determined he is. We both were even ones who were looking to find out what friendship was throughout the past adventures we've all been through together. He wanted to know more of what it was ever since he was first in Equestria after warping hereX while I at first thought it was a waste of time. When we worked together like during the time I overreacted with sending a letter to Princess Celestia for the week, or the time I was trying to figure out the time disaster that turned out, not to be a disaster. He helped me out when I grew suspicious of Chrysalis during the wedding in Canterlot, and even was willing to help me with fixing your Cutie Marks. Over those times, I couldn't help but fall for him, and him becoming a prince and me becoming a princess. . . I don't think I have to explain any further than that.

The rest of the Mane 6 and Spike smile at Twilight at just how much she cares about Mario just like them.

Applejack: How do ya think Mario will respond to all of this?

Twilight Sparkle: Eh, he may freak out a bit.

Pinkie Pie: Or get a massive nosebleed like some harem protagonist in an anime.

The rest of the mares deadpan at Pinkie when she said that.

Twilight Sparkle: Ani-what?

Pinkie Pie: Nothing! Forget I said anything!

Rarity: Pinkie darling, you say the strangest things.

Pinkie Pie: I know! I don't even know myself sometimes!

Pinkie then breaks herself into glass like pieces, surprising everypony before she was able to instantly put herself back together. Rainbow Dash just rolls her eyes.

Rainbow Dash: Yeah. . . I think we see what you mean.

Fluttershy: There is still one problem though.

Applejack: What's wrong, sugarcube?

Fluttershy: W-When should we tell Mario? When would it be the right time for us to confess our feelings for him?

The other girls looked at each other and knew that the timid Pegasus was right. They can't just go up to Mario and bluntly state that they want to set up a herd with him. It would be really awkward if that happens. Twilight even looks out of the window to see that the moon was rising into the air by Princess Luna, so right now would be too sudden to confess then. However, just as all of the thoughts were going on, strands of hair in Pinkie's mane all of a sudden dart around her making everypony look at her confused.

Applejack: What in tarnation?

Pinkie Pie: Oooh! This Pinkie Sense only happens when there is a special day for somepony that is close to me.

Twilight Sparkle: Special day? Like what?

Pinkie Pie: Birthdays, silly. Those kinds of special days.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, it's not my birthday anytime soon.

Applejack: Me neither.

Rainbow Dash: Nah, it's not me.

Rarity: I don't believe mine is coming either.

Fluttershy: It's not me either. Who's birthday could it be that soon?

Pinkie's mane then returns back to it's normal state.

Pinkie Pie: Hmm, well it's happening in two days. Whose birthday could it be that's close to us if it's not any of us?

The mares all looked at one another with raised eyebrows before they all gasped in realization of who could obviously be.

Twilight Sparkle: You don't think. . . Mario's birthday is in just a couple of days, is it?

Rainbow Dash: Don't ask me.

Pinkie Pie: Let me see.

Pinkie reaches inside of her mane to pull out what looks to be an awful long list and rolls it down all over the library which nearly covered the entire place.

Spike: *sarcastically* Well, we don't just have Twilight who's got enormous lists now.

Pinkie continues to look on the list that she was holding as she was looking thoroughly the list. She went on with this for about a minute before she eventually comes up to a name and when she read the date of birth for this pony, she let's out a prolonged gasp.

Pinkie Pie: *huge gasp* Guess who's birthday is in just two days~?

The rest of the mares of the Mane 6 perked up from that as Pinkie jumps high into the air.

Pinkie Pie: MARIO'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Pinkie then reaches out of nowhere to pull out her party cannon and blasts it twice nearly flooding the entire library with a bunch of confetti. Twilight glares at Pinkie at seeing this whole mess happen.

Twilight Sparkle: Pinkie! I just cleaned up in here!

Pinkie Pie: Oh, sorry!

Twilight Sparkle: Ugh! But your still right that we should all be excited right now. Mario's birthday is just two days away. Girls, this will be the perfect opportunity to confess to him.

The rest of the mares had huge smiles on their faces from that.

Rainbow Dash: Aw yeah! This'll be like his best gift ever!

Rarity: I take it we'll have his party at his house in just two days?

Pinkie Pie: Oh ho! I'll be ready to make an excellent surprise party for my new cutie pie!

Applejack: Pinkie. . . you're not really his girlfriend yet, ya know.

Pinkie Pie: I know, I just always wanted to call him that.

Applejack: *sighs* Well, he'll be really excited then. I suppose I'll bring the food for the party as well.

Twilight Sparkle: Hold on, girls!

Fluttershy: What's wrong, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: I don't think we should have his party at his house. We need something "bigger."

Applejack was bewildered by Twilight's suggestion.

Applejack: Ya want his party somewhere different?

Twilight Sparkle: My definition of "different?" Why don't we add a little bit of royalty to it?

The mares then went wide-eyed from hearing that.

Rainbow Dash: Twilight. . . are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?

Twilight Sparkle: That's right girls. . . we're going to have his party. . . at the Canterlot royal palace.

Rarity gasps with an excited look on her face.

Rarity: *gasps* Darling, you cannot ask him for anything better!

Fluttershy: Um, will Princess Celestia and Princess Luna be okay with that?

Twilight Sparkle: Fluttershy, if I know both Mario and the princesses well then I know for a fact that they knew Peach well. I think they'll be more than glad for us to hold his birthday party there. Besides girls, Mario has done so many things for us, I think it's time that we return the favor for him. And something as big as having a birthday party in Canterlot and also giving him a herd is exactly how I believe we should do all of this to thank him for everything he's done for us.

The Mane 6 all look at each other before letting out happy smiles that said that they'll be more than happy to give Mario a big surprise party in Canterlot.

Rarity: Well in that case darling, how should we prepare to make this party for our new boyfriend?

Twilight Sparkle: Leave the planning to both Pinkie and I. Applejack, you'll be in charge of the food.

Applejack: Yee-haw! Can't wait!

Twilight Sparkle: Rarity, do you think you can spice up some of the decorations?

Rarity: You're asking me? Please darling, if it's for Mario, it'll be better than you shall be expecting.

Twilight Sparkle: Rainbow Dash, I need you to pass out all of the invites to the rest of Mario's friends. Including The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Mayor Mare, Lyra Heartstrings, Bon Bon, Vinyl Scratch, Derpy, and Octavia Melody.

Rainbow Dash salutes to that request.

Rainbow Dash: I'm on it, boss!

Twilight Sparkle: And Fluttershy, I'll need you to get some of your animal friends too. They will be needed to lighten up the party as well.

Fluttershy got very excited from that.

Fluttershy: Oh my, Mario will be very delighted to see the animals. Some of them like Angel will be more than happy to come to.

Twilight Sparkle: I'll not only be organizing the party, but also I'll be sure to get Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, and Shining Armor involved with this too. Spike, do you think you can send a message to the Crystal Empire?

Spike: I'm on it, Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: And Pinkie. . .

Pinkie Pie: Yeah, Twilight?

Twilight gives Pinkie a mischievous smirk.

Twilight Sparkle: . . . . . .Go crazy with this party.

Pinkie jumps up in the air and let's out a deep gasp from that.

Pinkie Pie: Y-Y-Y-You really mean it?!?!

Twilight simply gives a nod at that and Pinkie smile grows so wide that it was nearly hard for her to go any further than her head.

Pinkie Pie: TIME TO MAKE A PARTY FOR MARIO! AND AS HE WOULD SAY IT, LET'S-A GO!!!

Pinkie instantly rushes out of the library in a pink streak creating a small gust of wind that knocks several books off of their shelves which makes Twilight give a sigh and a wry smile.

Twilight Sparkle: Maybe I should've said, not too crazy. . .

Applejack: Well, we'll get all of our preparations prepared. Good night, Twilight.

The other mares waved to her as they exit the library to not only end the night, but also get their things prepared for Mario's birthday party. Twilight smiles before she hears Spike gagging and she turns around to see him burp out his signature green magic flame.

Spike: It's from Princess Cadance and Shining Armor.

Twilight Sparkle: That was awfully fast. What does it say?

Spike uncurls the scroll to read what the brother and sister-in-law sent and when he does, he looks up at Twilight with a smile.

Spike: They said that they'll be more than happy to attend Mario's party in Canterlot.

Twilight Sparkle: Great! Now, come on Spike, we've got some of our preparations to make for Mario's party.

Spike nods as they both go to get Mario's best birthday party ready.

Two days later. . .

It was now noon at Mario's house as he was just laying down on his couch reading a Daring Do book out of boredom. He was apparently still thinking about the Mane 6 as the thoughts have been coming to him ever since a month ago when he and Twilight became the new prince and princess of Equestria.

Mario: Mamma Mia. I've-a been at this for awhile now, but. . . I just can't-a help, but still have these feelings inside of my mind. It really is driving me crazy.

He then decides to place the book down on a coffee table and let's out a sad sigh.

Mario: Well, at least today I'll-a be able to relax. Everything all around Equestria seems fine at the moment.

However, just as Mario says that, a scroll then materializes above him and dropped on his head before it lands on the ground.

Mario: Huh? A letter? Now? This is awfully sudden.

Mario picks the scroll and opens it up to read it.

Mario: "Mario, you and your friends are needed here in Canterlot for an urgent meeting. . . NOW?!, From Princess Celestia?"

Mario was surprised at this message as it made him a little worried for what the princess could want at a time like this.

Mario: Ahyahyahyah! This can't-a be good!

Mario places down the scroll and instantly bursts of a window in his house on his way to Canterlot.

As he is running at high speeds on his way to the royal palace, Mario kept contemplating about what Princess Celestia could want from him and the the Mane 6.

Mario: I know that letter lacked details, but. . . what exactly is needed at Canterlot at a time like this? What the problem? Friendship problem? Changeling infestation? Magic test? I don't-a know, but this seems like a huge emergency.

Eventually, Mario entered Canterlot and runs in the royal city in which many of it's citizens down in the streets noticed him above and smiled to see the new prince just passing by. He goes all the way up to where the royal palace is and instantly jumps inside to where you enter the palace and immediately darts into the throne room.

Mario: Celestia! Luna! I got your message and came as fast as I could what's-a. . .

However, no one was around in the throne room. Not even guards or servants.

Mario: Huh. That's-a weird, she usually calls us here in the throne room or meets us at the corridor to where the throne room.

Mario raises an eyebrow and thinks for a second before shrugging his shoulders.

Mario: Eh, maybe their down in the hall somewhere where the Canterlot tower is.

He then runs out of the throne room and goes down to where the entrance of the Canterlot tower is and also to his surprise, he finds out that nopony was around in the tower either.

Mario: They're-a not in the tower either? That's-a weird. . . eh, I guess it's-a my own fault, you snooze, you lose. Maybe this urgent thing is where the wedding hall is.

Mario runs out of Canterlot tower to go on his way to where the wedding hall where both the wedding and his coronation was held.

Once he arrives and heads inside, he also sees that nopony was in the room let alone standing on the dais in the center of the wedding hall. Seeing that not even anypony was there either baffled Mario.

Mario: Nopony in the hall either?! Okay, now this is just weird. Why would the princess call me over to Canterlot, then suddenly nopony and not even my friends show up? That doesn't-a make a lick of sense!

Mario ran out once again to go and search in more locations in Canterlot to where the royal sisters or his friends may be. He searched the royal garden, the Canterlot theater, the Canterlot library of magic, he even revisited the Canterlot archives where Twilight and him found the time travel spell by Star Swirl.

Mario has been searching for nearly an hour now for his friends and they were nowhere to be found. He even asked some ponies all across Canterlot if they knew where Princess Celestia was and all that they could say to him was that they don't know since she's always known to be in her throne room. Eventually, the mustachioed human had to give up as he jumped on top of a roof out of breath with a worried look on his face.

Mario: How is this possible? Even if anything, that scroll sounded so urgent and the princess never joked about anything like that before. Just. . . what happened?

Mario then got a sad frown worried of what may have happened to his friends, but not until a couple of royal guards who were Pegasi flew down right in front of him which got his attention.

Royal Guard 1: Prince Mario, I believe something may have happened that you need to see.

Mario was confused at hearing that as his tone sounded quite serious.

Mario: What are you talking about? Where's-a Princess Celesita? Where are my friends? I was called here by them an hour ago. Where are they?

Both of the royal guards looked at each other and nodded.

Royal Guard 2: It appears that you don't understand why you're here. That's why we came to you.

Mario: You're-a right, I don't-a understand! Where are my friends?!

Royal Guard 2: Have you checked the palace by any chance?

Mario: Yes! I looked all over the place! Nopony was there!

Royal Guard 1: You're right, nopony was there. That's because Princess Celestia has gone somewhere else.

Mario: Gone?! Wha- Then what was the reason of calling me here?! Listen, I really need a clear explanation of what's-a going here right now!

Royal Guard 2: It appears you don't understand after all. Did you really check the entire palace?

Royal Guard 1: Anywhere that appeared to be. . . normal for a day, except for one night?

Mario was very serious about this, but thought about what the guards said. What was a place in the palace that seemed normal for the day and not the night? It took Mario a few seconds before his eyes widened at that there was still one place in the palace that he hasn't tried yet.

The palace ballroom where the Grand Galloping Gala was held.

Mario runs down and enters the palace once more to go through the hall and the corridor before he lands over to where the walkway was that was the entrance to the castle's ballroom.

Mario: This is the only place I haven't-a really checked out yet, but if they really are here, why didn't-a she specify that this could be for a formal invitation or something. Also, the Grand Galloping Gala was just five months ago, so what sense would it make to be called here?

Mario opens the doors to the ballroom and when he goes inside, all of the lights were off which made it hard for him to see clearly. He walks forward inside and looks around to see if anypony was around.

Mario: Hello? Anypony here?

As Mario kept walking forward, little did he know that the shadow of somepony that had a certain poofy mane peeked out from somewhere, but a hoof grabs her and pulls her down.

Mario: Twilight. . .? Celestia. . .? Luna. . .? Anypony. . .?

Mario looked all around the dark ballroom as it didn't sound like anypony even made a peep to even want to say hi to him.

Mario: Anypony?

It was still just the same amount of quiet with that question as Mario looked down to the ground with a sad frown as it felt just like the same time that he felt loneliness. He was just on the verge of tears as his eyes started to water, until suddenly. . .

The doors that he entered into the ballroom slam shut behind him which startled him as he turned around instantly towards them and what happened next brought a huge shock to him.

The lights came on as party confetti was launched everywhere across the room and a huge banner that had Mario's Cutie Mark symbol came down that said "Happy Birthday" came down hanging. Then behind him once more, a ton of ponies jumped out from their hiding spots to just scream out a few words to Mario.

Everypony: SURPRISE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARIO!!!

Mario turns around to see that the Mane 6 were in right in front of him including Spike as well. However, that wasn't all as Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, and Shining Armor was there too. Even some of the friends that he made from Ponyville are here such as Lyra Heartstrings, Sweetie Drops (Bon Bon), Derpy, Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch who were right near a turn table, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were here as well, Mayor Mare could even be seen among the crowd of ponies too, and there was even so many more guests here as well.

Tables were around the ballroom set up that had some sections to sit, a food table where there was a ton of pastries with the majority being cupcakes, some games like Mario liked were set up for entertainment, and who can't forget that presents were set up in the corner of the room.

Mario was just speechless of what he was looking at right now.

Mario: M-Mamma Mia! W-W-What. . . What's all of this?!?!

Pinkie then instantly rushes up to him to bring Mario in a tight hug.

Pinkie Pie: It's your birthday party, silly! Why else did we all scream, "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARIO!"

Mario was confused by that for a second before realization struck him that he did indeed forget that his birthday was indeed today.

Mario: This. . . I can't-a. . .

Applejack: Aw, look at him y'all. He's so speechless and excited that he can't even speak properly.

Mario: H-How. . . when did you all even get the time to pull this off?!

Rainbow Dash: Don't ask us that question, ask Twilight.

Mario looked at Twilight with a shocked expression.

Mario: T-Twilight?! You planned all of this?!

Twilight Sparkle: Uh-huh! You would be surprised to how well coordinated that everypony had with there tasks.

Mario: B-But I thought that we were supposed to come here for something urgent. L-Like a problem was occurring.

Twilight Sparkle: That was all to stage it as well. We needed you to not suspect this in the least way possible, so I had Princess Celestia send you a letter that something important was going on in Canterlot.

Princess Celestia: *giggles* And must I say that it was definitely worth it.

Mario's jaw dropped to the floor in complete shock as Pinkie had to bring it back up for him.

Mario: B-But why go through this much to make this giant party just for me?

Fluttershy: Well. . . you have done quite a lot for all of us Mario. We thought that it would be right to return the favor with this.

Mario: This is just. . . I mean. . . you all did-

Pinkie quickly puts her hoof over his mouth to shut him for what he was about to say next.

Pinkie Pie: Bup-bup-bup! Not another word! We DID need to do this for you, Mario!

Rarity: You've done such amazing feats for all of Equestria that I do also believe that this party for you should be delightful. Especially since I had to use nearly my whole supply of fabric and ribbons to make the decorations look captivating.

Twilight Sparkle: So Mario. . . what do you think?

Mario looks at his friends before looking all around the place in the ballroom with such astonishment and shock before that shock slowly turned into a huge smile on his face.

Mario: Yahohoho! Are you kidding?! I couldn't-a ask for anything better than this! Wahoo!

Mario pulls the Mane 6 towards him and he gives them all a group hug which makes them blush before they return the hug which lasted for a few seconds before they broke it.

Mario: I guess there is only thing left for me to say. . . LET'S-A PARTY!

The music starts to play thanks to Vinyl Scratch who was on a turn table in the distance along with her partner Octavia Melody who was helping out with the music as well. With all of that being said, the party just got started as everypony around start to either mingle, play games, or eat delicious food that was laid out.

Mario first went on over to the food table where there was some cupcakes that looked very delicious and ran over to it. He takes one off of the table with his hand and was just about to eat it before Pinkie suddenly jumps onto the table and rushes up to him.

Pinkie Pie: You gonna eat that?!

Pinkie then instantly chomps on the cupcake that Mario was just holding in his hand. He was surprised as he looks back and forth between Pinkie and his hand before he just gives a smirk to Pinkie at her laughable antics.

Mario: Whoa, Pinkie, I would love to live in your world for just one day.

Pinkie Pie: *giggles* Yep! I have a great time!

Mario: I can see that. Seriously Pinkie, don't-a ever change.

Pinkie smiles with a squee from that before she tackles Mario down on the ground sending both of them tumbling across the ballroom.

When Mario was done hanging out with Pinkie, he went to go and play some games with Rainbow Dash. They were both playing with some darts and trying to throw them at a dartboard that was in the distance of both of them. Mario grand one dart and throws it at the board and get's a bullseye. He gives Rainbow Dash an arrogant smirk.

Mario: Haha! Try and top that Dash!

Rainbow Dash smirks back at him.

Rainbow Dash: Heh, why go for the bullseye when you can try to hit all of them at one time?

Mario: Wait, what?

Rainbow Dash picks a dart up with her wing and throws the dart and the board, but soon after that she kept throwing the darts that were laying in a cup at fast speeds and sure enough, she was able to hit all of the sections that was on the dartboard, shocking Mario. Rainbow gives Mario her signature smirk once more.

Rainbow Dash: Ha! Beat that Mario!

Mario looks at Rainbow in the corner of his eye and just gives her a smug look at how competitive she likes to be.

Mario: You just try and find all ways you can to win, don't-a you?

Rainbow Dash: Well duh! I hate losing.

Mario: I know, reminds me of that time you lost against me when you were trying to outsmart me that one time. You literally fell asleep.

Rainbow Dash: Oh ha ha. . . laugh that up. You lost the bet in the end, remember?

Mario: *sighs* You got me.

Both of them let out a laugh as they both trade a fist/hoof bump with one another.

After playing some games with Rainbow Dash, Mario went to go and hang out with Applejack as they were both across from one another with a water bucket holding some apples inside. They were both going to bob for some apples. They both give each other determined looks.

Applejack: All right, Mario, next one to find the green apple hidden inside has to make an apple pie for the other one, got it?

Mario: Let's-a go!

Both of them dipped their heads inside of the bucket trying to search for the said green apple that was inside. It took them a few seconds before both of their heads came back out at the same time and they were both holding a green apple in their teeth. . . at the same time. Both Applejack and Mario look at each other with blushes on their faces as their lips were also nearly touching. They both let go of the apple dropping it back into the water bucket before giving one another sheepish smiles.

Mario: S-So uh. . . we split it?

Applejack: N-No. . . *chuckles nervously* T-That's alright. W-We'll just call it a tie.

Both of them looked at one another with smiles on their faces and chuckled after that little accidental display.

After bobbing for apples with Applejack, Mario went to go and see Fluttershy along with her animal friends that were able to join the party with her. Some of them include Angel, some birds, Fluttershy's bear, two squirrels, and a beaver. Angel hops on top of Mario's hat which makes him chuckle.

Mario: *chuckles* It's-a good to see you too, Angel. As for the rest of you animals. I'm-a just happy that even you were able to do something like this for me, Fluttershy.

Fluttershy hides behind her mane while giggling and blushing in embarrassment. A bird then chirps at her which got her attention. She let's out a hoof for it to land on and the bird continues to chirp something to Fluttershy which she was able to understand.

Fluttershy: Oh, really? It's for Mario?

The bird chirps in a way that sounded like a yes. Fluttershy then turns to Mario who was currently being hugged by her bear.

Fluttershy: Mario, one of my bird friends said that they along with the beaver has made something special for you.

Mario was curious when he heard that.

Mario: Oh. Really? What is it?

Both of them turned to a nearby table where the beaver looking to be chewing on some wood and some birds were pecking on it as well. Once they were finished, they all moved out of the way to show that the animals had made a wooden sculpture of Mario's head and it was very detailed and precise too.

Fluttershy: Oh my, that looks wonderful.

Mario: Aw, you critters. Thanks, I'll-a definitely cherish this.

The animals all chirped, squeaked, or chittered happy from that.

After the animals made a sculpture for Mario, he went to go and hang out with Rarity and they were talking with some high nobles that look up to Mario as a prince such as Fancy Pants, Hoity Toity, and Prince Blueblood.

Fancy Pants: And you say that you were able to face this despicable changeling on your own?

Mario: Well, not entirely my own. I did have a tiny bit of help from Princess Celestia, but yes, before Queen Chrysalis could harm anypony out of the wedding it will ultimately me who was able to stand against her.

Rarity: He was so brave and daring while fighting her. I could nearly faint at just the sight of all of that happened.

Prince Blueblood: How close are you with Miss Rarity here, Prince Mario?

Mario: Quite close actually, Rarity here is probably the best fashionista that you can ever see. She was able to make dresses for not only her friends, but me as well. To be honest, if you need any clothing that needs to be done, I would ask her.

Rarity blushes a bit from the praise that Mario.

Rarity: Oh Mario darling, you are way too kind.

Hoity Toity: I have also heard that you, along with Prince Shining Armor fought against the former king of the Crystal Empire.

Mario: That's-a right, King Sombra. How should I start to explain how that battle went?

After speaking with some more nobles that were of Canterlot royalty, Mario decides to go and see Twilight.

They were both dancing with one another as Mario twirls Twilight around and tips her over before having her stand back up.

Twilight Sparkle: You know, I didn't think really think that it would be so easy to surprise you.

Mario: You girls actually got me. I one hundred percent had no idea at all. Still, I have to thank you the most for giving me this birthday party Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: *giggles* It wasn't a problem at all. Happy Birthday, Mario. I glad that you like this.

Mario: Like it? I LOVE it! WAAHAA!

Both of them smile at each other before giving each other a hug. They broke the hug as soon as a voice spoke up.

Princess Celestia: Well, if it isn't our new young prince.

Both Mario and Twilight turned to see Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Shining Armor, and Princess Cadance approach them.

Mario: Shining Armor?! Princess Cadance?! You two are here as well?

Shining Armor: Heh, yep. We wouldn't want to miss a party like this.

Princess Cadance: It was a huge opportunity, especially since Twilight told us that she was the one who planned all of it. So we were more than happy to take it for you, Mario.

Princess Luna: And that goes for us as well, Mario. For all you have done for us, we say that Mario is to have an excellent party here in Equestria.

Mario: Thank you all. I mean. . . this is all just happening so fast.

Twilight then wraps a foreleg around Mario which get's his attention.

Twilight Sparkle: Why don't we go and see how the rest of our friends are doing as well? Celebrate this a little more together?

Mario: Sure, why not? We haven't-a hung out as a group this entire party as a matter of fact.

Both of them walk off to go and hang out with the rest of the Mane 6 to continue with the birthday party.

The party went on for a few more hours as Mario was able to even talk with Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Mayor Mare, Lyra Heartstrings, and Sweetie Drops (Bon Bon). When it was time to open presents, each one of the Mane 6 got Mario different gifts. Twilight gave Mario a journal that she customized herself, Rainbow Dash gave Mario a new pair of goggles in case they were up for anymore flying sessions, Pinkie gave Mario a cupcake recipe that was by her, Rarity gave Mario a warm lavender scarf that she made, Applejack gave Mario a red Stetson hat with his M logo that she along with her family made for him, and finally Fluttershy gave Mario some flower seeds in case he wants to spice up his garden. They all even got to eat cake and sing Happy Birthday to Mario which he indeed loved very much.

It was now sunset as the ballroom wasn't as filled up as it was earlier. However, the party was still going on as the Mane 6 were currently conversing with one another.

Pinkie Pie: . . .And then Swoosh! When Discord threw a shark-looking tree at Mario, he smashed it down with his stomp! Bam! One giant tree into pieces!

The rest of the mares chuckle from that.

Twilight Sparkle: Yes, we know Pinkie. We were all there watching the whole thing.

Pinkie Pie: I know, but I can't help, but just want to say all of the coolest things that Mario has done! He's the best!

Rainbow Dash: Eh, I would say the best is kind of an overstatement if your referring to his skills. I mean I'M clearly the fastest and most athletic out of all of us.

Applejack glares at Rainbow Dash.

Applejack: Watch that ego, Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow Dash: What? I'm just stating the facts that's all. Mario would be the best boyfriend that we can all have! Come on, you have to agree with that right?

Fluttershy: I suppose so.

Applejack: Where is Mario anyway?

Rarity: I saw him speaking with Sweetie Belle and her friends the last time I saw him.

Pinkie Pie: Oh, there he is.

Pinkie points over to an area where Mario was all alone looking out of the window at the beautiful sunset. The Mane 6 grew concerned at seeing Mario like this.

Fluttershy: Is there something wrong with him?

Rainbow Dash: After this awesome party that he's having?! Of course not!

Twilight Sparkle: Girls. . .

All of the mares look at Twilight as she had a determined look on her face.

Twilight Sparkle: I believe it's time. Mario is over there giving himself some alone time for the moment, but I do believe that this is the perfect opportunity for us to finally tell him about the herd that we want to give him.

The Mane 6 give agreeing nods to that.

Twilight Sparkle: Alright. . . let's do it.

The Mane 6 walk on over to Mario who was still staring out at the sunset with a calm expression on his face.

Twilight Sparkle: Mario?

Mario turns to see the mares behind him and he gives them a small smile before turning back to the sunset.

Mario: Hey girls. . .

Rarity: Is something wrong, darling?

Mario: No. . . nothings wrong. . . honest.

Applejack: Ya sure? You seem a bit. . . down over here?

Mario: No, really. I am fine. It's-a just that. . . do you girls. . . believe in fate?

The Mane 6 were all confused at hearing that question as Mario continues to speak.

Mario: Let me tell you that. . . when I first came to Equestria, I didn't-a believe that I would be able to make any friends at all that fast. I didn't-a believe that I would be able to understand friendship without my friends back in The Mushroom Kingdom since I had them as my only friends and family. We would play together, eat together, laugh together, bicker with one another and go on many adventures. It was something that I didn't know could come for me in this world. This. . . big. . . extraordinary world.

Mario puts one of his hands on the glass as he continues to speak.

Mario: I still think about them everyday and. . . I'm-a sure that they do too. I'm-a sure that they are looking at me from The Mushroom Kingdom proud that I have officially made the best friends that they knew I could make. I didn't have to be alone here.

Mario then turns back to the Mane 6 with a smile on his face and his eyes were watering a bit.

Mario: I guess what I'm-a trying to say is. . . thank you so much. All six of you.

The Mane 6 were surprised from Mario's gratitude towards them.

Mario: I want you girls to know that. . . not only have you became the greatest friends that I've-a asked for in Equestria, but you gave me the life that I always wanted too have here. And today, thanks to you, this day is probably. . . the BEST day of my life.

The Mane 6 all blush with smiles on their faces and looked at one another before nodding in agreement for what they are about to say next.

Twilight Sparkle: Mario, there's something we need to tell you. . .

Mario grew curious from that as he was listening.

Twilight Sparkle: You've also been such a great friend to me. . . to us. . .

Rainbow Dash: You've stuck by our side no matter how bad of flaws that we made. . .

Applejack: You've helped us out so much that we can't describe how thankful we are. . .

Rarity: You're always sticking to the positive for when you meet just about anypony. . .

Fluttershy: You've also have to be the most kind man that we've ever met. . .

Pinkie Pie: We even think you're funny, strong, and even handsome as well. . .!

Mario starts to smile and blush from all of those compliments as Twilight continues.

Twilight Sparkle: So. . . we all just discussed this very thoroughly and Mario. . . we want to be more than your best friends.

Mario grew surprised from hearing that.

Mario: Huh? More than best friends? What do you mean?

Twilight Sparkle: We've all just wanted to say these words to you ever since you became close to us. . .

Mario: Okie dokie. I'm-a all ears.

Twilight and the rest of her friends take a deep breath to relieve some anxiety that they were feeling.

Twilight Sparkle: You see Mario we. . . we. . . we. . .

However, suddenly. . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

. . .

BOOM*

Explosions started to crowd all over the ballroom startling the Mane 6 and Mario and even the ponies inside were all letting out screams of worry.

Mario: O. . .kay! Pinkie, please tell that you sometimes have dramatic explosions that crowd places on your list!

Pinkie reaches into her mane and quickly pulls out a list and quickly reads it before shaking her head vigourously.

Pinkie Pie: Nope! I don't even think this was even planned for today!

Applejack: What in tarnation is happening?!?!

The ground then started to shake surprising everypony that was currently in the ballroom.

Twilight Sparkle: What's going on?!

The Mane 6 and Mario all looked around to find anything abnormal that was happening and when Rainbow Dash looks outside, the next thing that she saw gave her a shocked look.

Rainbow Dash: Um. . . you guys?

Mario: What is it, Dash?!

Rainbow Dash: Look outside!

The Mane 6 and Mario all looked outside and got the same shocked expression that Rainbow Dash had. . .

The entire Canterlot palace was rising out of the ground high up into the air.

Ponies down in the Canterlot city also saw the palace high up in the air surprising them as well.

Everypony in the ballroom was panicking at this point as none of this was even supposed to go like this at Mario's birthday party. To make matters even more ominous, the sky started to turn all dark and stormy up to where the entire palace was as it eventually stops moving and was high in the clouds just like Cloudsdale.

Fluttershy was very afraid as she hides behind Mario out of fear of what was currently happening. Mario got a serious look on his face as someone had to have crashed the party. Him along with the Mane 6 run up to the center of the ballroom.

Mario: Alright, who's-a responsible for all of this?!

???: *chuckles evilly*

Rarity: What was that?

The chuckle became even louder as everypony around in the ballroom was looking for the culprit. However, their search was interrupted as portals started to open up at the ceiling of the balcony and out came crashing to the ground some monsters that could only be seen from the Everfree Forest like timberwolves and manticores. They all instantly eye the Mane 6 and Mario as they all approach them in a circle-like formation backing them up into the center of the ballroom all together.

???: We meet at last, Mario.

A couple of the monsters back up as a smoke slowly forms in front of the Mane 6 and Mario and gradually rises until eventually two eyes could be seen inside of it. Mario takes a closer look inside of the smoke as who he's sees come out of the smoke made his eyes pop wide open.

Mario: Y-You're-a. . .

???: You may call me. . .

The figure then reveals it's true self to everypony around. The creature had a light cobalt bluish gray mane and tail, a moderate cornflower blue coat, it's eyes were pale apple green with moderate red pupils, and it had two horns that were dark azure. It was even wearing a harness around it's chest.

???: Grogar!

The Mane 6 and Mario were all in shock especially Mario at seeing this new villain just suddenly appear as they don't for what is to come next for them.
