Author's Note: Watching and Dreaming was fantastic. I prefer the Amphibia and Gravity Falls endings a bit more, but now, I can safely say that the Owl House is my favourite show. Hope you enjoyed it as much as me

Luz was in the hallway, and couldn't find Amity. It was weird. Despite not knowing all of what all of Amity's life is, she knows that her mom doesn't allow her to skip school.

"Hey, Skara," Luz said, as she entered school.

Thankfully, Skara was alone, and Boscha and her friends were not at school yet.

"Do you know where Amity is," she asked.

"No," Skara answered, "Sorry."

Luz was worried. She felt like something happened to her friend, and she needed to help. She just…

"Oof,"

Luz accidentally bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry," Luz said.

"No don't be," the other girl said, "It happens to me a lot."

Luz looked up to see… a girl that looked extremely similar to her. She had the same skin type, similar face shape, similar… everything. Though, she wore a brown jacket, jeans, and boots. Another difference is that she lacked the scar on her left eyebrow, something Luz had. Finally, she had round ears, indicating she was human.

"Hi, you must be new here," the girl said, "My name is Luz, Luz Noceda."

"Well, my name is Luzura, but you can call me Luz too," Luz introduced.

"Wowzers, two Luzes," Luz N. said, "Well, I guess you'll have to call me by a different name then. Gasp, what about Luz N. ?"

"Sure, sounds cool," Luz agreed.

"Cool, and we can have you with your last name," Luz N. replied, "What's your last name?"

Luz froze for a moment. "I…" she wanted to say something, but she actually doesn't know her parents' last names.

"Oh, shy about that," Luz asked, "It's okay, I can just call you Luz, now that I have a nickname."

The two then heard the bells ring.

"Oops, welp, off to class, before the teacher yells at me for being late," Luz N. said as she went to class.

"Yeah, me too," Luz replied.

(Later)

Luz was still in shock of their being a person, in the human realm, that looked almost like her. She definitely was more chipper and happier than her, but she kept wanting to know more about her.

During lunch, Luz sat down with Gus to ask some questions.

"Hey, Gus," Luz called.

"Hey Luz," Gus replied.

"Remember how you said that their was another person named Luz in your class," Luz asked.

"Yeah," Gus replied.

"Well, I think I met her," Luz said, pointing to Luz N.

"Oh, her," Gus asked, "Yeah, she's the one I talked about, although her name is not a nickname. She moved here a while to heal her sick dad, but ended up failing. She's seen as the schools weirdo, but is also the best writer in the school, and also has a pretty supporting mother and friend group."

As Gus said those last words, Luz N. sat with a group of other teens. One of them seemed like a goth, another having his hair cover his eyes, and another was wearing glasses.

"What happened to her dad," Luz asked.

"She doesn't really talk about it to anyone but her mom," Gus said, "And I think it's better off we just leave it be."

"Oh, ok," Luz said.

(After school)

Luz was heading back to the shack, reflecting on the fact that there was a human with the same name as hers in the human realm. And how actually tragic the loss of her father was for her. Luz never met her father, and she only has vague memories of her mother. She couldn't help but feel sorry for Luz N. for losing her father.

Luz eventually got to the shack, but heard something.

"All right, if the reports are right, that beast should still be here."

Luz heard a familiar voice in the woods. She decided to follow it.

Luz then saw Luz N., as well as the others in her friend group, with tools like flashlights, ropes, and one of them wearing a backpack.

"Are you sure that thing was seen here," one of them asked.

"Yes," Luz N. replied, "Those people said that something came out here. We have to find it."

"Are you sure," the one with glasses said.

"Don't worry Dana," the goth girl said, "We'll be fine, there's nothing to worry about."

Suddenly, a giant, six legged wolf tackled the girl.

"Masha," all three of them screamed.

Luz, without thinking twice, jumps in there, and attacks the beast with a fire blast.

"Who," Luz N. asked.

"Get everyone out of here," Luz ordered.

"O…ok," Luz N. said.

Luz N., the girl called Dana, and the other kid dragged the girl named Masha (who has been knocked unconscious) away. Meanwhile, Luz shot it point blank with a water blast. It seemed to burn it, causing the beast to run away.

Luz then sent an illusion of herself, and caught Luz N. and her friends off guard.

"Shh," the illusion said.

"Oh, Luz," Luz N. replied, "You scared us."

"Oh, sorry," the Luz illusion said, "I just heard you guys, and thought I would see what that was about."

"Luz, you know this girl," the one with his hair covering his eyes asked.

"Yeah, it's the new kid," Luz N. said, "Her name's Luzura, but it's Luz for short."

"Wow, two Luz," the guy said, "Hello, my name is Alex."

"I'm Dana," Dana introduced, "And this girl is Masha."

Masha was conscious, but her arm was scarred.

"Oh my titan," Luz said, "Here, let me help."

"No," Masha said, "It's okay. It doesn't hurt that much."

"Are you sure," Luz asked.

"Yeah," Masha said, "Plus, it makes for a pretty good scar."

"Yeah girlfriend," Luz N. said (Note: no, Luz N. and Masha are not a couple. This is like those people who say the same thing to their best friend), "Still, we should get back before anyone questions where we were."

But as they were about to leave, Luz asked, "Wait, why did you search for that thing."

"Oh, we were trying to find more of these demons," Luz N. explained.

"Truth is, we don't really fit in with anyone," Masha continued.

"We were even all sent to a reformation camp due to this," Alex continued on.

"That's when we found each other," Dana finished, "And made this friend group."

"After all, us weirdo's have to stick together," Luz N. replied.

Luz was kinda touched by this, and it kinda reminded her of her relationship with King, Raine, and Hooty.

"Exactly," Luz said, "But that doesn't really answer my question."

"Oh, we heard of this thing on the news, and we wanted to get a closer look," Luz N. said.

"The news," Luz asked, nervously.

"Yeah," Mashe said, "Attacks that have unknown effects on others. Like that giant owl beast thing."

"Yeah, we just wanted to see it," Luz N. said, "We like these types of things, and wanted to see more of them."

Luz then looked nervous. Their adventures are becoming more well known, and more people are finding out about it. It would only be a matter of time before…

"Mija, dinner," a voice said.

"Coming mami," Luz N. replied, "Sorry we have to go. You can find your way home here right?"

Luz nodded.

"Ok, see ya," Luz N. farewelled.

"Bye," Luz said, as she returned to the shack.

(Meanwhile)

Masha had decided to return home when they were going home, instead of going to Luz N.'s house. Then, she heard someone crying in the distance.

"Is someone there," Masha asked.

"Agh,"

Masha could see a thing moving in the darkness. Masha ran to the alleyway.

"Hey, wait up," Masha screeched.

Eventually, after one chase sequence, Masha cornered them into a corner.

"What are you," Masha asked.

Note: And that's it. Yep, big cliffhanger. Also, I have to admit, splitting the Luz's is a very intriguing idea that I hope I get to play with more in the future. Also, the Luz we're following is more attuned to her original design personality, with some of the newer ones attribute, like her being a nerd on Azura, and her being somewhat socially awkward, while the new one is the new Luz we get in the show, just without not knowing about the Boiling Isle. So yeah, I hoped you enjoyed it.
