Same Day: Earth London, England

Inside: Restaurant

Jackie's still on a date with Chloe. Marco and Brittney just left the restaurant after showing Jackie something on their scientific equipment, making her distracted and thinking about it.

Jackie tells Chloe, referring to Brittney, "She needs help." She and Chloe return to staring at their menus.

As she reads the menu, Chloe tells Jackie, "I think I'm gonna have sea bass."

Jackie agrees distractedly, "Sea bass, yeah. Sea bass is good." She repeats the words, distracted, "Sea bass, sea bass, sea bass, sea bass, sea bass, sea bass. Sea bass..." Chloe looks at her, "Sea bass."

Chloe grabs Jackie's attention, "Jackie?" She closes her menu and looks at her knowingly, "Maybe you should stop saying 'sea bass' and go after your friends."

Jackie closes and puts down her menu, looking at Chloe apologetically, "This was so fun."

Chloe looks down, "I'll just stay here and say 'sea bass' alone."

Outside: Street

Jackie adjusts her coat as she leaves the restaurant. She walks over to her car at the curb.

Inside: Jackie's Car

Jackie gets in the passenger seat and finds Brittney in the driver's seat on her right, with Marco in the backseat, both waiting for her.

Jackie tells Brittney, "And I hate you."

Brittney defends, "What? I said she was cute."

Marco, unamused, tells Brittney, "Just shut up and drive." Brittney smiles and switches gears with her left hand before driving.

Outside: City of London

Jackie's car is driving on a bridge.

Inside: Jackie's Car

As Brittney drives, Jackie looks out the window, the silence interrupted by a man's voice, "You need to take the next left."

Jackie gasps and sits back in her seat, frightened as she sees a guy pop up from the backseat beside Marco on his right. Jackie asks Brittney, "Who's he?"

Brittney answers casually, "He's my intern."

Jackie looks at Brittney confused, "You have an intern?"

Brittney glances at Jackie, "Oh, yeah."

Jackie turns in her seat to look at Marco behind her, "Did you know about this?"

Marco shrugs, telling Jackie honestly, "I only found out today." He met him before Jackie got in the car.

The intern smiles at Jackie, "Hello, Doctor Lynn Thomas. It's a... It's a great honor to be working with ya."

Jackie nods, "Right. I have to call Mr. Candle." She takes out her phone from her pocket.

The intern looks down at his GPS unit, "Oh, take a right." The tires screech as Brittney makes a sharp turn to the right, everyone holding onto something.

Outside: Street

Brittney takes a right turn, almost bumping into traffic. The intern's voice says, "And a left." Brittney then turns left into the next street.

Brittney's voice, saying confidently, "I have totally mastered driving in London."

Inside: Jackie's Car

With her phone to her ear, Jackie reaches Mr. Candle's voicemail. She leaves a message, "Hi, Mr. Candle, it's me. Again. Where are you? I came here because you said you were onto something, and then you vanished."

Outside: Stonehenge

A crowd stands aimlessly behind a male news reporter reporting for 'ITV NEWS'.

The male reporter says professionally to the camera, "I'm here at Stonehenge for what has been an interesting unfolding of events today." He gestures behind him with his hand, "The police were called to the scene-" Mr. Candle stands naked, holding a device before he runs around, trying to get away from the police, "-shortly after 11:am this morning after a seemingly harmless rambler approached the area then decided to strip naked and effectively terrorize tourists there with scientific equipment,-" After catching Mr. Candle, two police officers escort him to the police car while holding a police officer's jacket over his area, "-while shouting that he was trying to save them. The man, later identified as noted astrophysicist Mr. Candle, has been called in for questioning by police." The police officers try to keep his area covered by the crowd and cameras before they eventually get him in the backseat of a police car.

Deserted Factory

Brittney, Marco, Jackie, and the Intern arrive at an industrial area. They get out of the car.

As they close the car doors, Brittney tells Jackie and Marco, "Come on, this is exciting. Look!" She points to the intern beside her, "The Intern is excited."

The intern looks at Brittney, "Justin."

Brittney points at both Jackie and Marco, "Do you want the phase meter?"

Jackie shakes her head, "No."

Brittney demands Justin, "Bring the phase meter." She turns around and throws him the car keys before walking away, "The toaster-looking thing." Jackie and Marco walk around the car, walking away, with Brittney following.

Justin catches the keys, muttering, "Yeah. I know what a phase meter is." He leans inside the car to get the phase matter.

As Jackie and Marco walk around, they notice they are in a deserted factory area. They walk past a cement truck that is lying on its side. Suddenly, Jackie's cell phone rings.

Jackie asks out loud, "How do I change the ringtone on this thing?" She answers her phone as Marco looks around the area.

Brittney's voice answers Jackie as she speaks from her own cell phone, "An astrophysicist with three degrees should be able to change her own ringtone." Jackie turns around to face Brittney and Justin, walking their way.

Jackie looks at Brittney, annoyed, "Why are you calling me?"

Brittney tells Jackie, "I didn't want to shout. Intern says it's this way." She nods to the left and walks in that direction.

Justin tells Brittney, "Justin. My name's Justin."

Brittney shushes Justin, barely caring, "Shh."

Inside: Deserted Factory

They look around as they enter the factory. They gasp, disturbed by a sudden movement, and they turn their heads as a couple of pigeons fly by. The sound of footsteps is heard, with a shadow quickly running by.

Brittney says, frightened but in a semi-serious tone, "I am not getting stabbed in the name of science." She raises her hands up in surrender, shouting, "It's okay. We're Americans!"

Marco glances at Brittney in disbelief from beside Jackie on his left, "Is that supposed to make them like us?"

A girl whispers, "Shhh!" Three children step out of hiding; 2 boys and 1 girl.

Jackie mutters in relief, "Oh, they're kids."

The young girl steps up and asks, "Are you the police?"

Marco answers gently, "No, we're scientists. Well, we are." She points to Jackie on his right.

Brittney rolls her eyes, telling Marco sarcastically, "Thanks."

The boy on the young girl's left tells them, "We just found it."

Jackie steps closer, "Will you show us?" The young girl looks at the boy on her left.

The 3 kids lead them to a current truck in another room. The second boy touches his fingertips to it and raises his hand. The truck lifts into the air. The kid lets go and steps back as the truck starts slowly rotating. Jackie and Marco gasp in awe.

Brittney says the obvious as the truck goes upside down in the air, "That doesn't seem right."

Stairwell

They ascend up a stairwell and stop halfway up. The girl and second boy stand across from Marco and the others as the first boy walks farther up. They watch as he picks up an old bottle and drops it over the edge. The bottle falls but then disappears into thin air.

Jackie asks the kids, "Where'd it go?" The young girl points upwards. They all look up, and the bottle appears from above them, falls, and disappears into the same invisible field. They watch it go around a few times until the second boy catches it. Jackie smiles, "That's... That's incredible." Jackie turns around, picks up a can, and drops it over the edge. It disappears. The four look up, waiting, but don't return.

Marco narrows his eyes, "What happened?"

The young girl answers, "Sometimes they come back." The girl shrugs, "Sometimes they don't." Marco, confused, looks over at the device.

Brittney exclaims, "I wanna throw something! Jackie, give me your shoe." Jackie ignores her and watches as Marco walks around Brittney and grabs the device; Brittney had shown him at the restaurant from the phase meter. The readings on the device are going crazy. Jackie looks over Marco's shoulder.

Jackie says in disbelief, "I haven't seen readings like this since... since..." She doesn't want to say it as she glances at Marco.

Brittney, oblivious, finishes, "New Mexico?"

Jackie and Marco look up and give Brittney a disbelieving look at the same time. Marco then runs towards the next flight of stairs, with Jackie following. Marco demands, "Don't touch anything!"

Brittney smiles and leans on the railing. She looks down at the edge before telling Justin, "Give me your shoe."

Room Off The Stairwell

Further up the stairs, Jackie and Marco look around. Before hearing the kids laughing, they both look over the edge and see Brittney throwing things off the stairwell, looking up as the thing drops back down a couple of times.

Brittney excited, "Oh!" A kid throws another thing off the edge.

The device in Marco's hands starts beeping rapidly as the wind picks up, Jackie's hair blowing back. Marco is reading the screen. He shares a look with Jackie before he walks away, with Jackie following.

Stairwell

Justin then throws in the car keys. They all look up, and the keys don't return.

Brittney frowns as she stares up, asking, "Were those the... car keys?"

Hallway

The device in Marco's hands continues to beep rapidly. Marco and Jackie follow the signal tracking. Suddenly, they hear a whooshing sound. They look down a dark, narrow hallway.

Marco slowly starts walking down. Jackie looks at him in disbelief before following. Marco stops walking when he sees nothing, making Jackie stop as well.

The device beeps even more rapidly as the wind picks up. They look behind them, seeing nothing before looking back, and suddenly they are lifted and pulled. Marco's eyes widened, "Whoa."

Jackie shouts, "Ah!" They are pulled towards doors and disappear into thin air.

Dark Cavern

Jackie and Marco get transported to a strange dark place that is no longer a room within the building but a huge dark cavern. They are lightly placed on their feet on the edge of a steep drop into nothingness. They gasp as they step back from the ledge.

Jackie shouts, "Brittney!"

Marco snaps quietly, "Shh, Jackie." Jackie looks at him, "We have no idea where we are and no idea what could be out here. So stay quiet." Jackie nods and follows Marco as she turns and sees that they are on a great stone platform.

In the middle is a large towering column with a red glow inside. Marco and Jackie walk towards it. Stumbling over the rocks, they reach the column. They lean down a bit to look inside where the red glow is.

They walk around the column to get a better view. Stamped into the ground around it is a Bifrost marking, and inside, revealed to be the Aether, it screeches as it shifts around.

Jackie and Marco are amazed, their hands on the edge of the small opening. Suddenly the Aether sharply goes and flows into their hands, making them gasp and quickly step back as they take their hands out, "Oh!"

The Aether then shoots at them, and the column shuts, making them scream and stumble back. Jackie turns away and shakes her right hand as she sees the red flow around it disappear.

Marco breathing heavily in fright, looks down at his hand, "What the-" He cuts himself off and tries to rapidly wipe off the red flow around his hand with the other. Slowly, they both get dizzy and lose consciousness. They fall unconscious on the ground.

Space

In deep space, the Dark Lizard Mothership, the Ark, floats in an asteroid field. Suddenly, the ship turns on.

Inside: The Ark

The whole ship turns on and opens a status pod, revealing Toffee. He awakens with a gasp. Toffee steps out and walks onto a balcony/bridge overlooking a huge amphitheater, where the remainders of his army are awakening from within their pods.

Toffee speaks, "The Aether awakens us. The Convergence returns."
