Coco sighed, rubbing her temples with a groan. "It's always one generation away from destroying everything and making humanity go extinct… oi…"
"It's always the young and stupid ones." Sun said.
"Um… aren't we young and stupid?" Neptune pointed out.
"Not stupid enough to destroy humanity."
"...Fair point!"
"You going to be okay?" Velvet asked gently.
"Yeah… I just needed a moment." Coco mumbled as Velvet softly smiled and kissed her on the cheek.
"You know… I just realized something." Junko said. "We heard a great deal about Ikura, but… what about Ribbon? All we got from her was that she used to work for Octavio."
"Ah, right… well, ever since we heard Calamari Inkantation, we defected to the new world and my folks became scrap workers, finding whatever we could salvage in the deserts from the old human world and sold them for high amounts of Cash. Unfortunately, I never made a lot of friends growing up… apparently my personality kept scaring everyone away. Like, what's so wrong about being charismatic?"
I think there's more to that… Ikura thought.
"Like, seriously, I couldn't even have a full team in Turf Wars, like… sometimes my teammates defected to the other side in a Turf War just so they could gang up on me just because I couldn't "shut up" and "I'm too eccentric"."
"Friendly fire? Is that even legal here?" Sayaka wondered.
"Duuuuude, that's just bad sportsmanship…" Coral shook her head.
"I've never seen that before… I've seen sandbagging and squid bagging, but nothing like that…" Marie said.
"So yeah, it was a seven on one where the opposing side didn't care about more allies and were like "Let's smoke this squid kid!" However, there were times where the opposing team wondered what the kelp they were smoking and defected to my side because they hated the idea of ganging up on one squid kid… then it was a five on three."
"Ah good, I was hoping some of them felt bad." Azure said.
"That shouldn't even be legal… I mean, I know Splatsville is all about anarchy compared to Inkopolis but that's just wrong." Ikura mumbled.
"Yeah… tell me about it…" Ribbon mumbled. "But hey, I still have fun regardless… mostly. Depending on the map rotation… U'Mami Ruins and Eeltail Alley can take a hike for all I care."
She then forced a smile. "But enough about that! Let's go and take care of the rest of that Fuzzy Ooze!" She said.
"You guys go on ahead! I need to talk to Marie about something." Callie said, pulling Marie away.
"Whoa!" Marie yelped as everyone walked off.
"Soooooo, I'm curious about something."
"What's up?"
"Are you interested in anyone at the moment?"
"Huh? No, of course not…. Well, actually, maybe…"
"Hmm, you interested in that Sniper guy?"
"No. He's just a good friend and fellow sniper. …Although his Jarate is a bit… interesting, to say the least."
"Okaaaay… how about that Leon guy?"
"Not my type."
"Mondo?"
"Nope."
Callie pulled down her shades with a glimmer in her eyes and a smirk. "Azure~?"
Marie blushed immediately after Azure was mentioned. "Um… n-no! I don't like him… h-he's just a friend and… and uh… he's younger than I am and-"
"You do know it's been years since you saved me from Octavio, right? He's legal now~"
Marie's face turned redder. "We-well… uh… th-that doesn't change anything!"
"So, you don't like him?"
"Of course I like-" She paused, realizing that Callie set her up. "...Not in that context."
"Too laaaaate~!" Callie walked off with a spring in her step. "You like him!"
"Do not!" Marie sighed. "This is just like that time I had a crush on Crusty Sean when we were kids!"
"Yeah, but you got older and your tastes changed. You like someone else~!"
…Oh, she is impossible sometimes… Marie thought with a groan.

"Huh, this seems a bit… narrow-ish." Coco said.
"Well, like that's ever stopped us before." Scout said as they walked through it while Callie and Marie arrived.
"Ooooh, nice!" Callie smiled.
"A bit narrow for my tastes, but… I've seen worse." Marie said as they went off.

World 5-1: Trouble Round Every Corner - Mukuro, Soldier, Demoman
"Three lives activated."
BGM: Underwater Neon (Splatoon 3)
"Alright…" Mukuro had her Dualies out. "Let's see what we got here." She said. "You boys ready?"
"Aye!" Demoman nodded.
"Yes!"
"Follow my lead." She ordered as she ran off as the two of them went after her as they saw a Twintacle Octotrooper ahead. "Split up!" She said as she quickly hid behind a pillar as Demoman and Soldier did the same. The Octotrooper glared at their hiding spots, wondering who will come out first.
Mukuro looked at Demoman and immediately did some hand signals at him. With a nod, Demoman quickly fired some sticky grenades that caught the Octotrooper's attention while Mukuro did different hand signals with Soldier, where he immediately rocket jumped onto a pillar to grab his attention.
"Yaaaaaah!" Soldier beat his chest wildly right as Mukuro climbed up the pillar and shot him a few times with her Dualies to splat him.
"Good. Let's roll." Mukuro hopped off as the two ran off after her, all three launching off of a Launchpad and landing, Mukuro immediately rolling behind a wall as Demoman and Soldier landed and got behind another wall. "Think you two can aim high?"
"Lass, ye dunnae wot yer dealin' with 'ere!" Demoman chuckled, immediately getting out of cover and together with Soldier, the two of them bombarded the Octotroopers with their explosives while Mukuro quickly took cover and shot the occasional Octotrooper that attempted to ambush her by hiding behind walls.
"I had a feeling you'd be hiding behind there." Mukuro said, aiming a Dualie behind her and shot an Octotrooper without even looking.
"...I was about to say "behind you", but I don't think that'd be necessary anymore." Marina said.
Mukuro chuckled. "I've had some people do that to me before when I was out on the field. Didn't exactly work out in their favor."
Once they regrouped, they launched away from a launchpad and landed on the ground as Demoman and Mukuro took out the Octotroopers while Soldier shot an Inkfurler to give them access as they ran in and took out those who tried to ambush them from corners, then saw a Shielded Twintacle Octotrooper shooting them from up high.
"Hey. Mind if I borrow that for a second?"
"Sure." Soldier gave the Liberty Launcher to Mukuro as she ran up and rocket jumped into the air, and when she was above the shocked Octotrooper, she threw the Liberty Launcher into the Octotrooper, which bumped him off the tower and fell to the ground, his own shield crushing him as Mukuro landed on a higher platform.
"What are you boys standing around for? Come on!" Mukuro said as she walked off.
"...I'm gonnae admit. She kinda scares me." Demoman said.
"There are three things that scare me." Soldier said. "God when you piss him off, Jesus when you piss him off, Teddy Roosevelt if you piss him off…" He looked at Mukuro. "She might have kicked God off of his throne because I think even God would be scared of her!"
Demoman sweatdropped. "Sometimes, I wonder what goes on in that tiny brain of yers…"
Mukuro overheard this as she was climbing the platforms. "I'm scarier than a deity? …That doesn't even make sense." She said as she walked onto a platform where she was immediately ambushed by three Rocket Twintacle Octotroopers as she immediately got into a fighting stance and quickly started shooting them while dodging the ink that was heading her way.
Click! Click! Click!
Shit! Not now! Mukuro thought, when suddenly rockets and grenades hit the unsuspecting Octotroopers and splatted them with ink.
"Yer welcome!" Demoman said.
"Heh… nice one." Mukuro nodded at the two of them as they walked off and reached the goal.

World 5-2: The Upside to Enemy Backsides - Callie, MNBL, Cordelia
"Three Lives, activated."
BGM: Flop To It (Splatoon 3)
"Sooooo, Cordy… I've been wondering…" Callie said.
"Yeah?"
"Are you actually that strong? Because I've heard you were able to hold a Cohozuna with just your hands, same with a Slammin' Lid. And from what Leon described, an Octoballer."
"Well… I did design armor for those who wanted to step up their training game. I even tested it out myself and, well, I did get a bit more toned than I thought I would." She giggled. "Although, it comes with a disclaimer not to use it as actual protective gear in the field."
MNBL and Callie looked at her, waiting for more.
"...Yes. At least one person didn't heed the warning."
"Aaaand there it is." Callie grimaced.
"No offense, but you seriously have bad luck." Magnolia said.
"Nah, I wouldn't call it bad luck… I'd say it's more that she's unable to invent a cure for stupidity." Callie said.
Cordelia failed to hold back a snicker. "Okay, I feel bad for laughing at that." She said, hearing some giggling from Becky and Logue.
"You're welcome~!" Callie grinned as they walked off and casually avoided some Octostamps that jumped at them, only to either get destroyed by them or they just walked off to ignore them. One Octostamp overshot and landed in the water, causing a few other Octostamps to grimace at it.
They climbed up where Cordelia picked up a box and threw it at a shielded Octotrooper, knocking it unconscious where Magnolia swung her weapon down to destroy it and then kept going up, taking down a few more Octotroopers as they climbed up as a few Octostamps rushed over and leapt into the air… and missed them entirely as the group ignored them and climbed up where they saw an Amped Octostamp charging at them.
"Can't ignore that one! It's got shockwaves!" Callie said.
"Well… crud." Nick grimaced as the Amped Octostamp jumped into the air… and then to its surprise, Cordelia caught it and threw it back, sending it crashing into a fellow Amped Octostamp that pushed them off the platform and into the water below.
"That'll do it." Cordelia dusted her hands off and then they walked toward the goal, all the while MNBL were admiring Cordelia's strength.

World 5-3: Uh Oh! Too Many Snipers! - Chihiro, Mondo, Ikura, Spy
"Three Lives, activated."
Chihiro scanned the tower. "There's way too many Octosnipers up there. I've a feeling we're going to get overwhelmed pretty quickly."
"Oooh… I don't think my Tenta Brella is gonna do us any good…" Ikura said.
"Hmm!" Spy rubbed his chin, smirking sadistically at the thought. "You three distract those snipers."
"What?!" Mondo looked at him like he lost his mind.
"Trust me. I have an idea." Spy said, immediately cloaking.
BGM: Playing With Danger (Team Fortress 2)
Spy immediately got behind some boxes while the other three were getting into position, Ikura using her Tenta Brella to cover for them.
If I can't kill them immediately by backstabbing them, then I need to get creative.
Spy immediately pushed a box forward, catching the Octosniper on the ground's attention as it turned toward the box, but saw no one there as it went back to aiming at the trio… right as Spy put his sapper on the machine, causing it to malfunction as the Octosniper tilted its body, and then Spy brought out Your Eternal Reward and immediately backstabbed him to instantly cloak into Octosniper.
He then turned toward a fellow Octosniper and shot him, knocking him out immediately as a few other Octosnipers turned toward the sudden "traitor" and shot at him, but Spy immediately took cover and climbed up, cloaking himself to confuse the snipers, while the trio were close behind.
Spy pushed a box down off a level, causing the box to shatter and alerted the nearest Octosniper as Spy smirked behind him and pushed the Octosniper off the ledge, immediately killing him as he went back to cloaking, backstabbing an Octotrooper to become said Octotrooper and rolled to the other side.
With a smirk, Spy let out a small whistle behind the Octosniper as it alerted him and turned around to see nothing, then Spy quickly pushed him from behind as he fell into the water below.
Once Spy climbed up the pillars with his knives, he looked at the final Octosniper who was aiming at the trio as he rubbed his chin in thought and pounded his fist into his palm. He immediately brought out his disguise kit… and proceeded to Spy Crab his way through, casually kicking a can down as the Octotroopers turned to see him, only to be met with perplexity as they stared at the Spy Crab.
Ikura picked up the can and opened it up, revealing Tenta Missiles as she looked over at Chihiro. "I wonder what it'd look like on a robot." She mused.
"Hmm?" Chihiro wondered as Ikura gave it to him as Chihiro felt himself absorb it. "Whoa!" He said, his eyes turning red.
"Attack mode: Activated!" He said as his feet turned into rocket boots as he flew up into the air as missile launchers appeared out of his shoulders and fired missile hell on the Octarians, destroying them as they were distracted by the Spy Crab.
"Woo! You go, girl!" Ikura cheered.
"Boy." Mondo said.
"That's a dude? …That's the cutest boy I've ever seen." Ikura said as the missile launchers fell off of Chihiro's shoulders as his eyes turned back to normal.
"Ooof… I think I just experienced something that was out of character for someone like me…" He shuddered at the thought as Spy chuckled, putting his disguise kit away.
"Still got it even if ORCA destroyed my weapons." Spy said.
"I wouldn't say destroyed, more like… upgraded." ORCA said, causing Spy to roll his eyes as the four of them went to the goal, Mondo immediately giving a side hug to Chihiro with a grin on his face.

World 5-4: Barriers! They've Got You Covered - Ink Fresh, Engi
BGM: Nine Out of Tension (Splatoon 3)
"Three Lives, Activated."
"Alright, let's see what we got here." Engi said as they walked up ahead, only to be met with a few Octotroopers, which was guarded by an Octodisco.
"Ooooh, protection." Titania groaned. "Lovely!"
"We got this!" Sayaka smirked.
"We sure do!" Fugu nodded as Titania got into position and inkjumped high into the air, immediately swinging her TriSlosher down and painting the heck out of the Octodisco to destroy it, then Star proceeded to obliterate the Octarians with her Ballpoint Splatling as they went ahead and took off on a platform propelled by a fan as they made their way to some stairs where an Amped Octostamp waited for them, slamming into the ground only for them to jump over the barrier as Engi shot it with his Widowmaker to destroy it, then they headed off where four Octotroopers were guarded by an Octodisco, where Titania did the same thing again as Sayaka and Coral ran up and splatted them with their Inkbrush and Carbon Roller, both of them fist bumping.
They then went up a platform as another Amped Octostamp awaited them with an Octodisco as it charged right at them and launched into the air… and overshot and fell into the water below, causing the Octodisco to sweatdrop as it got destroyed by Engi right after.
"Guess it got overexcited." Engi chuckled as they walked off and went through some propeller platforms as one rose up, where Fugu aimed her Splatterscope and took out a Twintacle Octotrooper as they then made their way over and were met with several Octarians with Octodiscos, one of which was an Octocommando.
"Well, carp… this is gonna get annoying." Coral said.
"Not for long." Engi smirked, putting a level three Sentry down as it fired several Tentamissiles, obliterating the Octodiscos and the enemies before them, while Fugu sniped the Octocommando for good measure.
"There we go. Much better." Fugu smiled as they walked off and went straight for the goal.

World 5-5: A Compulsive Collector's Paradise - Leon, Scout
"Three Lives, Activated."
"Okay, so… what are we doin' here?" Scout wondered.
"Looks like some sort of maze… let me take a look here." Leon looked directly into the View Pad, where he would see four Flooders all colored differently. Red, light blue, pink and orange. "...Well, son of a bitch."
"What is it?"
"This isn't just any ol' maze… it's Pac-Man."
BGM: PAC-MAN [Club Mix] (Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS)
"That sounds video gamey… we probably should contact Chiaki."
Leon smirked. "Nah. We can do this without Nanami. …Besides, she has a fear of mazes for… some reason."
"Oooh, right. Good point." Scout nodded.
Leon readied his Inkbrush. "You ready?"
"Ready!" Scout nodded as the two of them took off, both of them collecting Power Eggs.
The Flooder that represented Blinky spotted Scout and chased after him, Scout immediately rounding the corner and turned around to see the Flooder chasing after him. He quickly made a break for it, only to find himself cornered by the Inky Flooder.
Scout immediately climbed over a wall as both Flooders smacked into each other. "Haha!" He smacked his butt at them as he jumped over.
Leon hid behind a corner as the Pinky Flooder went past him. "Yeah, that's right. Keep floodin', lady." He said and kept going, making sure the Clyde Flooder went past him.
Scout climbed up another wall and decided to hop on the Blinky Flooder, right as the Clyde Flooder spotted him and charged at him, colliding with the Blinky Flooder as it turned around to glare at him while Scout hopped off and collected a Power Egg.
"Too freakin' easy." He chuckled.
As for Leon, he collected the last Power Egg when he saw a beam of light appear from the sky. "What…?"
"Leon, grab the item from the beam of light! It might help you out!" Pearl said as Leon immediately made a run for it, climbing over a wall and then ran up a ramp where he saw a Pac-Man symbol in front of him.
"What…?" He wondered as he reached in and grabbed it.

BGM: PAC-MAN'S Park/Block Town (Super Smash Bros for Wii U)
Immediately after he touched it, he suddenly transformed as he let out a yelp before he was turned into a fully pixelated giant Pac-Man. Leon found himself inside of it, seeing a bunch of controls inside.
"Oh, a giant Pac-Man mech?" He asked as he smirked. "Alright, now it's my turn! As Nanami typically says… PLAY BALL!" He yelled, immediately moving forward as the Pac-Mech started chomping down as it moved.
"Holy mother of… that's a big violent ball of cheese!" Scout said as the Flooders tried to get away from Leon as the Pac-Mech chomped down on Pinky and Inky, slaughtering them with no remorse.
Leon smirked. "Yeah, that's right. I'm the cat around these parts now! And you guys are just colorful mice!" He exclaimed as he cornered Blinky and chomped him up until nothing but scrap metal remained.
Scout had an idea and hopped over the walls before jumping on the Clyde Flooder. "Alright, mush!" He said, managing to force its way toward the Pac-Mech, and right when Leon started chomping down, Scout jumped off and landed on the wall and watched as the Clyde Flooder became scrap metal.

"Grand Slam! That's how we do it!" Leon cheered as the Pac-Mech disappeared as Leon landed on his feet.
"Where the crap did that come from?"
"I don't know, but I ain't complainin'!"
World 5-6 - Zippin' Over the Neighborhood - Junko, Pyro
"Three Lives, Activated."
BGM: With Flying Colors (Splatoon 3)
The moment the duo walked out of the gate, both of them glowed. "Whoa! What the heck?"
"Mmmph mmmph!"
"Oh, so you're saying this is what SSSN went through, from what they told you?"
"Mmmph!"
Junko aimed her hand at the wall between two Octarians, her arm extending as it latched onto a wall and lunged, splashing on said wall and destroying the Octarians. "Ooooh, so they were Spider-Man for a time."
Her eyes sparkled with a smirk. "Ooooh, can't wait to tell Chiaki that I was Spider-Woman~!" She grinned as she extended her arms and zipped away. "WAHOOOOOOOOO!"
Pyro, meanwhile, use the flamethrower to launch himself away toward the Octarians that were distracted by Junko's Spider-Woman antics as she stalked toward the Octarians. "Hmhmhmhmhm~" Pyro hummed.
In Pyrovision, Pyro had a water gun and playfully sprayed them with water, happily giggling as the Octarians jumped about happily.
…In reality, however, the Octarians were screaming and running around in a panic as everything caught ablaze.
"Mmph!" Pyro climbed up and walked away and happily burned through everything, much to an Octocommander's horror as it realized it was stuck there and could only accept its death, no matter how much it screamed.
Junko climbed on top of a pillar, looking down at an Octosniper that was too busy being preoccupied staring at Pyro in horror. She smiled and casually zipped down with a hum while the tower she was on burst into flames.
She zipped past some Twintacle Octotroopers as they turned to shoot at her, until one of them turned around as its eyes widened and tried to get away, confusing its brethren as they turned… and screamed as they tried to get away.
Junko climbed on top of a tower and zipped through, snagging the Octodiscos that were protecting the Octocommanders as she swung her Octobrush to destroy them. The two Octocommanders turned toward her. She whistled and pointed up ahead as they turned to see the Twintacle Octotroopers rushing through and trying to bang their tentacles on the door.
They then looked up to see everything on fire and Pyro was right there. "Mmm mmm~!" Pyro waved before burning them alive while Junko casually backflipped and landed on the ground behind the door, then said doors opened as Pyro happily skipped out.
"Nice work, dude… er… girl? Whatever." Junko chuckled, both of them fist bumping as they walked toward the goal… before Junko stopped.
"Mmmph?"
"I… I don't know why, but for some reason, I can't shake the feeling that Chiaki's in trouble…"
"Mmmph mmph Mmmph!"
Junko smiled. "Yeah, you're right. She can handle anything that comes her way. I'm sure she's perfectly fine." She giggled as they both touched the goal.

World 5-7: One-Way Ride Through Target Town (Ugh…) - Coco, Ribbon, Heavy
"Five lives, activated."
BGM: Ride or Fry (Splatoon 3)
"Oh, one of these again?" Coco asked.
Ribbon readied her Tri-Stringer. "This doesn't look so tough!"
She immediately destroyed the boxes as she hopped on the rails. "Wahooooo!"
Coco immediately hopped on, only she was rejected immediately after. "Ack! What the heck?!"
"One at a time." ORCA said.
"One at a time? What the splat does that mean?!" Pearl demanded.
Ribbon immediately shot at the boxes nearby as she grinded away, hopping on another grind rail as she turned and aimed at some larger boxes before hopping over on another rail, spotting a wall dead ahead with four boxes stacked on top. She destroyed them as the wall opened up as she jumped down and landed on another grind rail.
She spotted some platforms with boxes on them as she immediately fired arrows at them, destroying them easily as she hopped on another rail and kept going, turning into her squid form when she went past a gate as she came back up and saw more boxes at some angled platforms.
She fired her arrows, only an arrow missed and left only one box. "Carp, missed one!" She turned around and fired, hitting it… and then she passed another platform as she gasped and then aimed her Tri-Stringer… and her back smacked right into a gate. "Mmmph!" She grunted as she fell into the water.
Cari immediately got out of the backpack and immediately tugged at Ribbon's arm, dragging her to the surface and pushed her up into a platform. She coughed out water and looked at Cari. "Thanks, Bro…"
"Four lives remaining: Ribbon."
A bright light enveloped Ribbon as she was brought back to the start.
"Wait… what?! No checkpoints?!" Ribbon said as the boxes materialized again.
"NO CHECKPOINTS?! What is this seahorse carp?!" Pearl yelled.
"Goodness, I thought there was something off about this place…" Marina said.
"Alright. So, you or me next, big guy?"
"Ladies first." Heavy said.
"Ah, tha-"
"No! I'm gonna try it again." Ribbon said, shaking off the water from her tentacles. "I'm going to make sure I do it right this time!"
She immediately jumped into action… and fell into the water since she didn't destroy the boxes. "Waaaaah!"
Splash!
"Three lives left: Ribbon."
Ribbon was brought back as she spat out water. "...Right after I destroy these boxes." She said, firing arrows at them as she hopped on and went off.
"...You think we might be here for a while?"
"Da."
"I was afraid of that."

Meanwhile….
World 5-8: Making Waves With Splashdowns - Namine, Nagisa, Jataro
"Three Lives, Activated."
BGM: With Flying Colors
"Why am I glowing?" Nagisa wondered.
"Hmm…" Namine wondered as she decided to punch the ground out of curiosity, creating an explosion of ink as she did. "Oooooh yeah, Splashdown!"
She turned to Nagisa and Jataro. "Ready to have some fun?"
Nagisa readied his Ancient Spear. "I'm ready." He said as Jataro readied his weapons as well.
Namine ran off a gate. "Then let's get going!" She said, using a Splashdown to destroy the boxes below her as Jataro and Nagisa followed her as Nagisa spotted two Octarians below them as he threw his Ancient Spear on the ground, where once it stabbed said ground, it created an explosion of ink followed and destroyed them.
"Nice one, dude!" Namine high fived him as Jataro jumped off of a dash track and threw his hammer down, the ground exploding with ink and destroying the Octarians as Jataro picked it up.
"Well, that was fun!" Jataro said.
"Alright, let's go!" Namine smiled as they ran off, as Nagisa threw his spear into a propellervator as Namine jumped on and then came back down on top of some Shielded Octotroopers, destroying them easily as Nagisa hopped off as they went ahead and went through some Propellervators, jumping over some ink sticks and waiting for one to pass as they dropped down and kept going as they hit the Dash Track on the wall and sprang up as both Jataro and Namine both used their own Splashdowns on some Octodivers.
They walked forward and saw rotating platforms with some Octosnipers, Jataro raised his Ancient Spear up and threw it at the ground at the right moment, splatting all four as they dropped down and ran off, jumping on a bounce pad as they spotted some Octocommanders and Octosnipers.
Jataro pulled out some stakes and swung his hammer into them, sending them flying into the platform and creating colorful ink-explosions that destroyed them. "Nailed it." Jataro said as they went toward the platform and then they launched off of some Dash Tracks as all three used their Splashdowns on top of the goal, finishing in style.

World 5-9: Low Viz, High Risk - Komaru, Toko
"Three Lives, Activated."
BGM: Smoke and Mirrors (Splatoon 3)
"Blah! What's with all the fog?!" Komaru wondered.
"Ah g-great… that's lovely." Toko groaned. "Next thing you know, we-we're gonna be victims of The Mist!"
"...No, I'm pretty sure this is fog. I'm not feeling any moisture on me." Komaru said, immediately sniping an Octosniper from behind with her Luna Blaster.
Toko groaned. "Alright, I guess we're watching that movie when we get back home…" She mumbled to herself as they walked through the thick fog, knocking out enemies that appeared up in their face while stumbling across debris.
"Ugh, I'm just glad we don't have Salmonids to deal with…" Komaru said as they climbed up a wall and kept going, soon finding a can and opening it up to reveal Tenta Missiles that Komaru fired blindly.
"Did you just… blindly fire into the fog?!"
"Do you want to deal with monsters that pop up in your face?"
"...Good point." Toko nodded as they continued walking while the missiles bombarded and destroyed a few Octobombers and Octocopters as they came to another wall and climbed up, destroying more Octarians that appeared as they hopped down and turned to the right.
"W-wait a moment!" Toko said. "Did we just go in a circle?"
"No, I don't think we did." Komaru said, picking up another can that had the Triple Inkstrike as she threw it blindly into the fog, destroying more Octobombers along the way.
"I'm pretty sure this looks familiar." Toko said, slashing through an Octarian as they found themselves having an Oversized Octopod charging at them, both of them hiding in the fog as it exploded on them, then they went through a gate. "H-hey! This open gate looks familiar!"
"I'm pretty sure it's another gate!"
"You sure about that?" Toko asked as they walked ahead and were met with an Octosniper, both of them dodging the fire and destroying it. "I'm pretty sure this guy revived!"
"Toki… let's be real." Komaru pointed toward the goal. "If we did go in a circle, the goal wouldn't be there."
"I still think we did…" Toko mumbled as they went toward the goal, both of them sighing in relief that they don't have to worry about the fog anymore.

World 5-10: Shooter on Rails - Velvet, Oobleck
"Three lives, activated."
BGM: Ride or Fry
Velvet materialized a Jet Squelcher in her hands as she fired at the target with Oobleck, then the walls opened up. "Ready, Ms. Scarlatina?"
"Ready!" Velvet nodded as they both hopped down on the Ride Rails and went off, shooting target switches to open up more ride rails as they hopped over on each one. They hit one on the wall as a ride rail went backwards as they jumped on the side to avoid landing in the water and they went around the area.
"This is actually not that bad. It's rather nice."
"Yeah. I wonder how Coco's holding up…"
Meanwhile…
Heavy ate his Sandvich while Coco cleaned her minigun while Ribbon's eye twitched, angrily shooting at the boxes at the start and hopped on.
"...How many times has she paid for lives again?" Coco wondered.
"Heavy lost count…"
"Ooof…"
"Graaaagh!" Ribbon cried out in annoyance.
Back with the duo…
"I'm sure she's doing well!" Oobleck said as they continued on, jumping on another rail that made them go around a few towers as Velvet spotted a balloon and shot it as Power Eggs came straight for her, then they grinded around a tower, shooting at targets on pillars as they climbed up, then some gates opened up as Oobleck turned his head and spotted a switch where he immediately shot it to activate it.
"Well, I suppose that could be considered a happy accident!"
"What?" Velvet wondered before she spotted switches as she shot them up as another ride rail appeared in front of them, where they hopped up and went their way toward the goal, both of them smirking.

"Three lives, activated."

"Heeeey, we're ninjas again!" Neptune said.
Sun looked up at the tower way into the distance and looked at his team. "Race you to the top!"
"You're on!" Sage said.
"Meet you there!" Scarlet said as they all Zipcasted their way to the tower, zipping around speedily as a few Octotroopers tried to fire at them, but they were long gone, causing them to sweatdrop as they continued to climb up, using the Dash Tracks to boost them forward as they would then get to the floating platforms and zipped up while disorienting an Octosniper as they made their way to the top, all four of them jumping up at once as they went straight into the goal at the same time.
"...Soooo… who won?" Pearl wondered.
"I… think that's a four way tie." Marina said.
"Yeah, that sounds about right."

World 5-12: You'll Go Far If You Shoot Far - Marie, Sniper, Medic, Yatsuhashi, Fox

"This layout looks familiar…" Marie said.
"It does?" Yatsuhashi asked.
"Yeah… not sure why."
"Maybe zhis is based on your memories?" Medic wondered.
"Who knows." Marie shrugged as they walked ahead and sniped a few Octarians with Sniper as they climbed up a wall where Yatsuhashi and Fox destroyed a few Octotroopers in their path as Medic fired his Blutsauger in a Balloon Fish, destroying other Octotroopers as they went inside of a building, taking care of some Octotroopers that were on the ceiling, then they went inside where an Octosniper was waiting for them… and then Sniper shot him in the face to kill it.
"Bagged ya!" Sniper chuckled as they climbed up as they saw a switch on the other side of some glass, where Marie casually tossed a Splat Bomb over it, triggering the switch as they walked ahead… and would see a tower up ahead.
"Ooooh, it's a replica of half of Moray Towers. I get it now." Marie said as they went up ahead, taking care of the Octotroopers while Sniper aimed at the top and shot the Octosniper before it could do anything to them.
"Nice shot, comrade!" Medic praised.
"Thanks, mate." Sniper chuckled as Yatsuhashi and Fox stormed the Moray Tower as they cut and punched through the troops until they reached the top.
"That wasn't so bad… it could've been worse." Marie said as they reached the goal.

World 5-13: Learn to Reflect, and This One Is In the Bank - Azure
"Three Lives, activ-... wait…"
"What's wrong?" Azure asked.
"Something feels different about this test… I swear it got rearranged when I wasn't looking."
"Oh, I'm sure it's not that bad." Azure said as he found a Launch Pad and launched high into the air, where he would see an arena of some kind surrounded by water. "Wait… a triangular arena?" He wondered as he got a better look on the way down. "...Wait, that's the Triforce!" He said as he landed on the ground.
"What's this doing he-"
"So, someone did come." A voice said as he turned to see a certain Loss Leader approaching.
"Whoa… who the squid are you?"
"I am known by many names, but I go by… Damian."
"...You don't look like a Damian. You look more like a… oh… Squid-gog or something. Also, is that a bow in your hands? You don't look like an archer to me."
"Hmph, my weapon was stolen by the hands of that wretched girl… Marnie." He growled. "However, after she had defeated me with my own weapon, I came to realize that hunting her down just to collect her head wasn't worth it anymore. The reason I lost to her was because I was focused only on her… or as that wretched Nevermind girl calls it… "Tunneling"."
He smirked. "So now I'm going after other people to collect for The Dark One. Marnie was a thorn on my side, but I don't really care for her anymore. She can have my weapon as a trophy… I got something better."
"...You done monologuing? I've got other things to do and honestly, you don't look threatening."
"Don't look threaten-..." Damian snarled. "I have had it with this constant disrespect! Last time, I wasn't even ACKNOWLEDGED. I was run over by a damnable pink semi truck! I've had it with this insane cycle of me dying over and OVER again! This time, I've set my foot down."
"...Ooookay. So are we fighting?"
"Listen well, Squid Kid." Damian aimed the Darkness Bow at him. "This will be your last day alive as a living, breathing cephalopod!"
"Wow… and I thought some Squid Kids on Splatnet were edgelords." Azure rolled his eyes. "Alright, let's see how we do here."

Back with a Vengeance - Damian
Damian aimed and fired arrows at Azure, who quickly rolled out of the way as he splatted the ground with his ink as he swam around in it. Damian aimed and fired at the ink to try and get around him, only to backhand him the moment he got out of the ink.
Azure shook it off and then shot him in the face as Damian slashed Azure's Splattershot Nova off of him and kicked him into a rock. "Nnngh!" He grunted as he shook it off, grabbing his Splattershot Nova as he threw an Ink Bomb at Damian, but he grabbed it with his hand and crushed it with his hand.
Azure quickly swam back into the ink. Okay, I gotta get that bow away from him! He thought as arrows were flying everywhere until he split the bow apart. That can be split apart?! …Okay, I got an idea!
Azure squid jumped into the air, quickly landing on top of a tower as he shot at Damian, where he fired arrows but Azure jumped down and swam slowly in the ink as Damian continued to fire arrows, unaware of where he was.
He appeared behind Damian, grabbing a rock and went back into the ink as he appeared a good distance from him. "Bet you're too slow with how big you are!"
"Taunting will get you nowhere." Damian said as he ran at him.
Got ya! Azure smirked as he did the same thing as he threw the rock at his head right as Damian swung his blade, the rock hitting him.
"Gah!" He growled, missing his swing as Azure grabbed one end of the bow and kicked him away, pulling one blade away from him.
One down… Azure thought as he confidently aimed the blade at him as Damian snarled, both of them lunging as they clashed, sparks flying as they did so as Damian tried to push him back, but then Azure flip kicked him to knock the other half of the bow out of his hand and grabbed it, reforming it as one.
"Where's your beloved weapon now!" Azure taunted as he started shooting dark arrows at him as Damian blocked with his hand and ran at him. Azure Squid Jumped, pulling the bow apart and swinging the blades at him.
Damian ducked and then smirked, suddenly summoning an End All Arm and shoved it harshly into Azure's gut, forcing him to spit out some saliva as he went crashing into a tower. He also let go of the bow as Damian grabbed it.
"Uuungh…" Azure groaned, staggering to his feet as his vision was already blurry when Damian approached him. He growled, aiming his weapon at him but Damian backhanded it off of him and grabbed him by the throat.
"You mildly amused me, so I'm not going to cut off your head… yet. Instead, I'll have some fun with you."
He tossed Azure in the air as he jumped up and heel kicked to the ground, and then slammed down onto his spine. "AAAAAAGH!" He cried, blacking out from the agonizing pain he was in for a few moments as Damian grabbed his ankle and slammed him into the ground behind him.
Azure coughed out some blue ink, glaring at Damian as he tried to reach for his other weapons but Damian stomped on his stomach and proceeded to pummel him with the End All Arm and his free fist, blue ink splattering everywhere with each punch.
"Hmm? What the… this is not authorized!" ORCA blurted out.
"Yeah, no shit, genius!" Pearl yelled.
Damian soccer kicked Azure away. He weakly got up but crawled back in fear as he pulled out his earpiece. "PEARL, HELP ME!"
"Leave him alone, you brute! BOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Damian stepped out of the way to avoid Pearl's scream, grabbing the ear piece and turning it around as Azure got hit by Pearl. "AAAAAAAAAAGH!"
"Oh snap!" Pearl exclaimed.
"Okay, I think this would be a VERY good time to get Agent Eight in the scene! Girl, get ready!" Marina exclaimed.
"I don't normally do this, but I'm going to break my own rule because this is an unauthorized massacre!" ORCA said, when suddenly alarms blared throughout Alterna.
"ATTENTION SQUIDBEAK SPLATOON. RED ALERT. RED ALERT. AGENT FOUR IS GETTING SLAUGHTERED BY AN UNAUTHORIZED DEMON. BACKUP IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED." ORCA yelled.
"No amount of backup will save you!" Damian said, grabbing Azure by the throat and throwing him to the ground. He pulled out his bow. "And now… for the finale!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"
"Hmm?" Damian wondered as a silver torpedo slammed into him, knocking him away from Azure as Big Man landed on the ground in front of Azure.

"Ay!" (Leave. Him. Alone.)
"Pah. A Manta Ray?" Damian chuckled in amusement as he saw backup coming in behind them.
"Azure…?" Marie saw him in his state as her eyes widened in horror. "AZURE!" She yelled as she immediately ran to his aid, quickly cradling him.
"Muh…" Azure coughed out ink. "Marie…"
"I got you… don't worry…" Marie turned around. "I NEED A DOCTOR OVER HERE, NOW!" She yelled in a mixture of urgency and panic, her voice almost breaking as Medic swiftly came running in to heal him up.
Callie let out a low growl, her hands shaking with anger as she scowled at Damian. "You… you nearly made my cousin, MY BEST FRIEND cry… that's UNFORGIVABLE!"
"Ay!" (No! Leave him to me.)
Big Man approached him, pulling out two Splatana Stampers as he approached him.
How on earth am I going to cut off the head of a manta ray? …Well, I suppose I'll learn from experience when I attempt to cut his face off.
Damian swiftly split apart the Darkness Bow and slashed at Big Man, but he crossed the Stampers into an X and parried him as he swung the Stampers into him, knocking Damian back as he swiftly parried Damian's attack again, one half of the bow went flying as it landed between Azure's legs.
Damian growled as Big Man belly flopped into the ground, creating an illusory ghostly manta ray as it swam around in familiar light green goop as Big Man got up and smirked at him as Damian smirked back. "You think this will be enough to stop-"
Said goop happened to be electrified.
"BZZZZT HGRRKGRRKGRRRRK."
"Ay…" (I should've brought marshmallows…)
Damian shook it off and growled. "Fine… I know when I'm defeated, but let this be a warning to you that I'm back!" He declared, opening up a portal and walking in.

"Ay!" (Hmph!) Big Man nodded as he turned around and walked over to Azure as he was slowly coming around, but was also exhausted from the fight with Damian and passed out in Marie's arms.
"Oh… Azure…" Marie whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Ay…" (Come on… let's get him out of here.)
With a nod, ORCA pulled them in blue light and pulled them out of the area… and once they were out, ORCA planted a sign next to the kettle.
"Out of Order"
Meanwhile, with Ribbon and the other two…
"GAAAAAAH! WHAT IS WITH THIS MOTHERFLARKIN' STAGE! I HATE IT!" Ribbon yelled.
"Alright, alright, let me have a go." Coco said. "It might do you some good."
"Ugh… fine…" Ribbon grumbled as Coco hopped on and went off, quickly destroying all the boxes along the way.
When she got to the tilted platforms, she destroyed said boxes with ease as she then backhanded a cage with her weapon to make her go through and shot more individual boxes, where she then hopped to the right and saw a tower of boxes that she immediately destroyed.
Once she rounded the corner, she hopped on another ride rail and made her way through, tearing through a gate as she saw some boxes on tall towers, quickly shooting at them and then destroyed at an angled tower of boxes before jumping on another ride rail until she saw a red box with a smaller box as she quickly fired at it to destroy it, then when she got to the end, she jumped into the air and destroyed the last six boxes as she gracefully landed on the rails and toward the goal.
"Got it!"
They were all taken back to Eco-Forest Treehills as a result.
"Very good! Very VERY good!" Heavy praised, high fiving Coco.
"Show off…" Ribbon grumbled as they gave Cari the Power Eggs as he went all over the island to devour the Fuzzy Ooze.
Meanwhile…
"You again…" Tsunam-Ink said to Damian. "Why are you back here? You are an embarrassment to Calasmos."
"If it's all the same to you, I'm smarter than I used to be."
"I do not care. You go back to your home and suffer for the rest of eternity. In fact, I'll take you there myself!" He swung a tentacle down, but Damian caught it.
"If it's all the same to you…" He wrapped his arms around his tentacle and ripped it off.
"ARGH!"
"I've suffered enough."
"...Go back and harass that Marnie girl then!"
"She no longer interests me."
"Liar!"
"...Do you wish to lose another tentacle?"
Tsunam-Ink hesitated, looking away nervously. "No…"
"Good. You'll be needing them. Hope I didn't tear off an important tentacle." Damian walked off.
"And where are you going? Aren't you going to help me out?"
"Why would I help those who mocked me for my failures? You're on your own."
Back with the heroes…
"Yikes! Damian's back?!" Tech asked. "...Goodness gracious, I thought he was no longer an issue."
"Apparently not… you think we have to worry about him? Warn Marnie?" Velvet asked.
"Apparently, he's no longer interested in this Marnie…" ORCA mentioned.
"Interesting… we best keep an eye on him, just in case."
"I'm gonna need a full rundown on this Damian guy. Who is he?" Cordelia asked while Cari arrived with Sunken Scrolls that he found.

"You have a podcast? …At midnight?" Sun asked. "Why…?"
Unfortunately, Marie didn't have an answer as she was too busy worriedly looking at Azure in her arms.
"I can answer that for ya! It's simple… some squid kids are nightfish, Marie saw an opportunity… you figure out the rest." Callie said and then giggled. "Of course, most squid kids also catch the replay when they wake up, but whatevs."
At that moment, their scrolls and phones went off as they went to see what new Alterna Log would come up.
Alterna Log 005: Fresh Intelligence Awakens
As the inner walls of Alterna collapsed, thousands of tons of rock and liquid crystal plunged into the waters below.
As these crystals washed to and fro among the flotsam and jetsam of humanity's former colony, they broke into microscopic fragments.
Because they had repeatedly absorbed and reflected humanity's wishes over so many years, the crystals retained those...feelings.
Little by little, the squids, octopuses, and assorted sea creatures that thrived in the waters of Alterna absorbed these crystals into their bodies.
This process continued until, one day, the marine organisms began to feel something. Something...fresh.
These fresh impulses bore a striking resemblance to humanity's passive desire to return to the Earth's surface
Spurred by these impulses-and whatever else may have been floating in the polluted waters-the sea creatures began to evolve rapidly.
Each species developed pulmonary respiration, mobility, and other traits consistent with land-dwelling creatures. They began to adapt.
Their intelligence grew at a remarkable pace across generations.
Some species even gained extraordinary camouflage capabilities.
A point of no return arrived. The sea creatures of Alterna set foot on dry land and never looked back. Like humans, they strove for the surface.
Of course, survival on land was harsh. But the creatures were persistent. Soon, they found the tunnels that humans had used to escape the apocalypse.
With their path forward now clear, these fresh, fledgling beings left the ruins of Alterna behind and set their sights on the surface world.
"Well… at least they're thriving. That's good." Coco said.
"Well, yeah, we're here!" Ribbon grinned.
Ikura chuckled. "Yeah."
"Hang on… I'm detecting something big showing up." Chihiro said as the ground rumbled, when suddenly, a boss kettle popped up nearby.
"I did not authorize that! …I advise extreme caution." ORCA warned as some of the heroes went inside.
"I'll go investigate this myself. Anyway, that's all you need to know about Damian!" Tech said and hopped in.
"...All of that for one goth girl? That poor girl needs a hug when I meet her." Cordelia said with concern.
World 5-14: TriColor Smackdown - SSSN, CFVY, Callie, Captain Three, Tech
The group found themselves on another Trifrorce stage, but this time, it was surrounded by two towers that looked strikingly similar to Moray Towers.
"Oh hey, it's like Moray Towers!" Callie smiled, and then Dark Gryphons showed up with E-Liters, Splatterscopes, a Z and F Splatterscope and a Bamboozler. "...Oh. It's exactly like Moray Towers…" She groaned.
"You had to say something." Captain Three said.
"Good! You're all here!" A voice said as a Squidzilla appeared before them. "I am Tsunam-Ink, and I will be your boss battle for the day!"
"Oh joy." Coco said.
"Are you familiar with Splatfests? They have a new theme this go around… Tri-Color!"
"Oh yeah, we've been hearing about that." Sun said. "Futaba and Chiaki go crazy for it when I'm at Sojiro's!"
"I find it cute, honestly." Coco chuckled.
"Well, I have a Splatfest theme of my own. The theme of this is what to do with your defeated bodies!"
One tentacle showed off red paint. "Destroying them to nothingness!"
He showed off neon green paint. "Let the body rot!"
And then he showed off gray paint. "Or crumple your body into pieces!"
"...HEY! This Splatfest is rigged in your favor!" Sun yelled.
"Hope you like water bullet bombardment from my squadron. Their washing and my endless flooding of different ink only makes it interesting to see the results! …And don't think I'm dumb enough to carry all these weapons. I still have free tentacles to smack you around!"
Right on cue, Abyssal Octopots, Grey Gordons and Mothertoads acted as ground enemies while Malicious Cheep Cheeps and Cheep Chomps were on standby to drench the ground with ink.
"Since I'm a fair host for this Splatfest, I'll give you a minute to let you decide your fates!"
All of them huddled around. "Okay, soooo… any ideas on how to turn this around in our favor? I'm open for suggestions." Coco said.
"Well, no matter what we do, we're screwed either way if either ink color wins." Sun said.
"Yeeeeah, I'm not seeing a viable option here…" Callie said.
"Or…" Captain Three smirked. "We use the ink in our favor."
"What do you mean?" Velvet asked.
"Okay, so I don't have a lot of time but… here's what I'm suggesting-"
"Time's up!"
Captain Three turned around. "Oh, squid off, you squidbag! That was only fifteen seconds, tentacle brain!" She turned around.
"...Was it really fifteen seconds? I thought it was longer." Tsunam-Ink whispered.
"It was." A Dark Gryphon responded.
"Blast it… why must I be bad with time…"
Velvet's ears twitched. "How long does a TriColor match typically last?"
"About three minutes, why?" Callie asked.
Velvet smiled happily. "I got an idea~!"
As they were discussing, Callie looked up. "We still have thirty seconds!"
"...Did anyone bring a watch?" A Dark Gryphon asked as everyone mumbled to themselves. "I… thought not."
"Wait, did I say thirty? I meant forty! It just slipped!" Callie grinned and then went back into the huddle. "I don't think they bought that one."
"Well, it gave us plenty of time." Captain Three smirked. "Alright, you ready?"
"My calculations pin point a forty percent chance of winning with this strategy."
"Good. The lower the chances, the better." Captain Three rolled her shoulders and put her hand out as everyone else did the same. "One two three, Squidbeak!"
"SQUIDBEAK!" They yelled as they turned to face Tsunam-Ink.
"Ah, good. Now… let's get this Tri-Color match STARTED!"

Tri-Color Typhoon - Tsunam-Ink
Tsunam-Ink proceeded to swing his tentacles down at the group as they dodged it while Captain Three put her finger on her ear piece while hiding behind cover. "Pearl. Marina. Agent Eight. This is Captain Three here… you think you can do me a favor?"
Tsunam-Ink shook his other tentacles and shot the three ink colors everywhere on the Triforce and Moray Towers as CFVY and Callie went up to the left and SSSN and Tech went to the right, all of them as Velvet looked through her camera and proceeded to lay waste into the Dark Gryphons with Tenta Missiles as CFY and Callie provided cover as Tenta Missiles came crashing down on them all.
"Good to go!" Velvet said as they ran up the slopes until they got to the top as Coco found an E-Liter up top as she aimed at the Malicious Cheep Cheeps and Cheep Chomps spat out water to do away with the gray ink and red ink.
Coco pulled the trigger, immediately KOing the Cheep Cheeps while on the other side, Scarlet held a Z and F Splatterscope and aimed, firing at the Cheep Chomps to knock them belly up.
"Hmm? He's missing a tentacle down there!" Scarlet said.
"Ah, I'm chalking that up to birth defect." Sage shrugged as Tech pulled out his bow and arrow, aiming at the red paint as he fired his arrow, shooting it dead center as the paint exploded, getting all over his eyes.
"Argh!" He grunted as red ink splattered on the ground while Captain Three wiped the floor with the ground forces, shooting them with ink.
"Alright. The first one is ready to go!" Marina said as a bright light appeared in the middle of the Triforce arena.
An Ultra Signal.
"Someone cover me!" Captain Three requested as she immediately went for it, shooting away Mother Toads and Grey Gordons who were also gunning for it as Callie squid jumped to her location and flattened the enemies.
"I got your back!" Callie gave her a thumbs up as Captain Three nodded, quickly grabbing the Ultra Signal, raising it high into the air as it then shot up into the sky, where a Sprinkler of Doom landed on top of the Triforce of Power, spreading red ink everywhere.
Tsunam-Ink wiped the ink out of his eyes, noticing the Sprinkler of Doom. "Ha! Looks like red is winning!"
"Guess again, squid brain!" Coco called out. "That there's our ink! The good Captain got to the Ultra Signal first!"
"What?! No! You can't use this against me!" He growled.
"Too late!" Callie grinned as Tsunam-Ink proceeded to shoot at them with his other barrels of ink as more ground forces appeared as did more Malicious Cheep Cheeps and Cheep Chomps, but they too were quickly defeated as Tsunam-Ink aimed a barrel of paint their way, blocking an arrow from Tech as he came down and landed in the middle of the arena as he used his laser vision to heap up the barrel, splattering gray ink all over.
"Gah!" He groaned.
"Um… this is Agent Eight… um… here's another Ultra Signal for you. Veemo!"
Another Ultra Signal appeared in the middle of the Triforce arena as Sun jumped down and grabbed a hold of it, using his tail to hold it up while using his weapon to shoot at enemy forces, and then the Ultra Signal shot up into the sky as a Sprinkler of Doom came flying down on the Triforce of Wisdom, splashing around blue ink instead, washing away the gray ink.
"Blargh!" Tsunam-Ink growled as he noticed two of them now. "Rrrgh! NOOOO!" He yelled as he tried to slam his tentacles on the heroes but they avoided the swinging tentacles as Coco and Scarlet shot him in the eyes. With a growl, he unleashed Kathwack on the both of them, but they were able to avoid it in time by hopping off the ledges as Yatsuhashi swung his sword down with Sage to cut off a few tentacles, and Coco and Scarlet shot him again in the eyes, freeing up his last can of paint as Tech used his Laser Vision to destroy it, sending neon green paint everywhere.
"I know TriColor typically uses two Ultra Signals, but I don't give a carp! HERE'S A THIRD ONE!" Pearl yelled as a third Ultra Signal appeared.
"Three Ultra Signals? That's a little OP if you ask me!" Callie said.
"You complaining?" Captain Three asked.
"Kelp no! This is AWESOME!" Callie grinned as she jumped in and eagerly grabbed the Ultra Signal, where it launched up into the air as a third Sprinkler of Doom came down and landed on the Triforce of Courage, sprinkling green ink on it.

At that moment, the Triforce began to glow with all three colors.

"Hey guys? What the heck are those?" Neptune asked as they saw three items appearing in the middle of the Triforce.
One was a Splatana in the colors of the Master Sword.
One was a Tri-Stinger in the colors of the Light Arrow.
And one was a dark red Dynamo Roller.
BGM: The Knight Who Seals the Darkness - Phase 1 (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
Captain Three stared at the Master Splatana before her as she immediately gravitated toward it, taking the handle and bringing the blade close to her face.
Velvet looked at the Light Tri-Stinger and gently took it in her hands as a golden aura wrapped around her wrists.
Callie grabbed the Gerudo Roller for herself. "Aw yeah, I can FEEL the power!" She declared.
Tsunam-Ink shook off the ink and saw the weapons before him. "What?!" He yelled as the three ladies looked at each other and nodded as Captain Three quickly charged at Tsunam-Ink with Callie while Velvet aimed her Light Tri-Stinger at the Squidzilla, pulling back the string as an Arrow of Light appeared in the string as she let the Light Arrow fly and pierced through the Squidzilla.
"Graaaagh!" He cried as he swung his tentacles with a Kazammle shockwave, but Callie and Captain Three jumped, the latter swinging the Master Splatana at him, cutting through his tentacle as she then landed on the ground, raising the Master Splatana in the air and unleashed a powerful Skyward Ink-Strike at him.
Callie ran up his tentacle, laying red ink on him as she traveled up. And the more ink she laid, the darker the dark aura surrounding her became… and when she got close to his face, she raised the Gerudo Roller up high and slammed it down, creating a powerful dark shockwave.
"AAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Tsunam-Ink went crashing to the ground in defeat as Callie nearly fell into the water. Luckily, Sun came in and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up.
"Thanks!"

"Rrrgh… this… isn't… over…" Tsunam-Ink growled.
"You're right, this isn't over! We still have to finish your Turf War to decide your fate." Tech said.
"What?!" Tsunam-Ink exclaimed in surprise.
"According to my calculations, the majority of this area is red." He said. "Aaaand… what was it you said would happen if red won?"
"That was my reward on what to do with you! You can't just steal my Turf War!"
"Technically, we can… and we did." Captain Three casually said.
"Indeed. You dug your own grave when you announced your own sick twisted Turf War of yours. So, you will get your own just desserts for that." He said as he turned to Velvet. "May I?"
"Oh, sure." Velvet gave him the Light Tri-Stinger as he aimed a Light Arrow at him and together with Captain Three and Callie, they swung/shot their weapons at him simultaneously as they all connected at once, causing him to scream in agony as he faded away into darkness.
"Good riddance." Tech said, handing Velvet her weapon back.
"Awesome. Let's go back." Coco chuckled.
"Wait, I just realized we didn't fool him with the time limit… shoot!" Velvet groaned.
"Eh, we were all in the moment. Don't worry." Coco patted her on the shoulder.
Meanwhile…
"What?! Tsunam-ink got done in!? And by a Killing Machine that is not on our side?!" The Squidzilla Commander yelled in surprise.
"Yep, it appears so…" A Dark Gryphon mumbled.
"Rrrgh, that inferior Killing Machine... thinking he is more capable than our Malicious version to his species. Such insubordination from a normal Killing Machine, unlike our more superior and loyal A3G15 monsters to the Dark One. Alright, how many of our Squidzilla commanders do we have left for this operation?"
"Well, lets see... there's the Commander who relays the messages to the commanders of the sites, the one gathering Salmonids for our forces from the Salmon Runs, the Site One and Two commanders are still alive, and finally Site Six is still breathing."
"Ah good, then he will…"
"But we got bigger problems. Damian returned and took off a tentacle from Tsunam-ink. He may do something similar to Site Six's Squidzilla. Not only that, but he doesn't seem interested to go after Marnie any more."
"Mmmph…" The Commander groaned as he rubbed his temples. "Alright, let's think for a moment... we shall wait until they gather all the treasure from the sites. And using the full force of our squadron we strike them down and steal the treasures from their corpses. We will kill two birds with one stone."
"That's an excellent plan and all... but what about the Fuzzy Octarians and Damian?"
"They will be easy pickings, once we deal with those treasure seekers. And then Alterna will become ours. But for Damian... let see what more of his true motives are, considering what he might do."
He then let out an annoyed sigh. "But first, I need a drink…"
Maaaaan, we Zelda fans are eating GOOD. First that last Tears of the Kingdom trailer was awesome, including the return of Ganondorf. Then the next day, Splatoon throws in "Hey, by the way, we're doing a Zelda Splatfest and we have a Triforce stage in the middle of Scorch Gorge!" I... might have been inspired by that announcement. For those who play Splatoon 3, I have to ask... what team are you going for? I'm going with Team Courage!

Also, for those who played the Splatoon 3's Story Mode... how long did it take you to beat One Way Ride Through Target Town? It took me an hour and a half just to try and finish it with the Tri-Stringer before I finally gave up and one shot the whole damn thing with the Splatling...
