A/N: I haven't forgotten this little collection of letters from a one-season wonder of show. I imagine the story will end when Michelle and David are reunited once more. I have greatly appreciate the readership over the years.

Dear David,

I've decided to continue my health care reform initiatives while I am in lockdown at Altar Palace. The initial plans that I drafted with Paul Lash were nowhere near perfect, solving old problems while creating a whole slew of new ones. Right now, I am reading up on other nation's health care packages, finding what I like and do not like, what may work in Gilboa. Studying is a good distraction.

My body continues to change in the most unusual of ways. The doctor says that I am in the middle of my second trimester, nearly five months along. It's been five months since our night together, after you retrieved the Charter of Gilboa. Our reunion was short but very sweet. I cannot help but think of all of our wasted time together; time battling over who was petitioning to Father on Judgement Day, or what the tabloids were printing about us. None of that matters any more, and it all seems like silly reasons to stay apart.

The doctor says that I am doing well in my pregnancy, which is a blessing after all of my health troubles. There's so much that I glossed over with you, never telling you the whole story. The number of times that I was on death's door – it was in desperation that I made my vow to God, with my father to vouch for me. The God that we follow, he knows what is in my heart, he knows that we belong together, and we are not in the wrong.

Stay well and safe, until we can see each other again,

Your Michelle
