So many reviews! I might end up splitting it into two sections, some before, some after if I keep getting this many!

ArguableReader: Hey! Welcome back, I like the Nagant idea, I just have different plans for her right now, hopefully, you'll like how her story turns out. And yeah, Self Restoration is currently a bit of a bitch, but he'll get over it.

P34644563: Ha ha... I didn't really think of that. Thanks for pointing it out though.

fidogadalla: I'm glad you like my story! Thank you for the advice on the system, thing is, quirks are meant to have their oddities, and in this case, the extremely weird numbers are a part of it.

Also, I get why it would make sense for a good game system to indicate the loss of stamina by applying a negative modifier to his stamina, thing is, that's not what it's doing. It isn't directly making his endurance less, it's using his stamina, his quirk's not smart enough to factor that into the equation. It's the same reason it doesn't factor in Quick Tempo when calculating his Dexterity, as the enhanced perception might artificially inflate his reaction time and control over his body, due to him having more time to react from his perspective, but his quirk doesn't know how to calculate that.

His quirk isn't omnipotent like other gamer systems, because it isn't actually a gamer system, it's a quirk that imitates a gamer system.

Also, 299 is much higher than the average seven-year-old, the side effects of Self Recovery are causing him to appear to have less stamina than the rest of his class, but he's got around two to three times as much in reality. Remember, I said his Strength and Speed are above average, and they're still below 150, he's just weaker than kids that actually have super strength-related quirks.

Bainas: Hi, I'm sorry that you're disappointed, but I disagree that he should be op. I'm not writing a power fantasy. Yes, his quirk did evaluate itself to be the strongest, but that's because of the potential it has. He's going to accumulate power over time, and have hiccups along the way. He is seven years old so of course he isn't very strong yet, the quirks he's buying are also starting out weaker and are going to get stronger. At seven years old, Bakugo is currently only capable of explosions capable of launching empty tin cans around, and Todoroki can't even freeze a bathtub yet. You'll have to wait for a little for the power spike.

To answer your question regarding intelligence, his true intelligence is actually around the 1400 mark, so it won't take him too long to surpass it.

Point generation is also intentionally slow, I wouldn't have much of a story if he could buy S++ quirks before he even went to school. Just be patient, things are falling into place.

Also, I haven't nerfed him, his endurance might be shit right now as a side effect of Self Recovery, but remember that whenever someone's body heals from exercise, it heals back stronger, the positive side effect of the increased physical training is going to show soon enough.

Neon dagger: Unfortunately, he can only purchase a quirk one time, it get's removed from the system once he buys it.

THE-Twighlight-BlazeKnight: Wow, okay, that's a lot XD. I don't really feel comfortable writing smut, but I agree that he is currently taking forever to accumulate quirk points, that's kinda on purpose, because his quirk is meant to be weaker now because of his age. I like your quirk ideas though, I had actually forgotten about that energy siphon one. Oh, and I have been thinking a bit more about his power-set. He's definitely going to be a brawler, but I don't know how hard I'm going to go on pure strength, vs utility. Personally I'm thinking of a kind of mix between a Baldur-like powerset and a Loki trickster-like set.

I'm lying on my bed having just arrived home after the end of the I-expo.

It was...awkward to say the least. I hadn't expected Melissa Shield to be there, since young kids were supposed to be a rarity at such events, which is the same reason I hadn't expected Saiko Intelli.

We had been escorted to the children's table, where all the other young people were to be seated, and it was a mess. I hadn't really understood how separate I am from most children my age until this event, the conversation was fittingly childish, and Ms Intelli seemed to agree, but she was giving me the silent treatment because I was one-upping her in the language department.

She was able to converse in English, but she had a thick accent that was apparently funny for some of the American kids. I on the other hand had attracted some positive attention for my 'English English' as Melissa put it. Mom taught me British English, as it was spoken more widely than American English on the international stage.

As I reflect on the rest of the unexpectedly dull evening, I receive a text message from Uncle.

Come to my office, I want updates on your progress.

Odd, considering our usual update meeting is not for another week, but I'm not going to disobey the big guy.

Exiting the apartment, I take the VIP elevator up to Uncle's office. Dad and I moved into the Detnerat building halfway through last year. The layout of this massive skyscraper is actually rather interesting.

The bottom 30 floors are a mixture of office workers and labs, and the next 20 are office workers and lower management. Then there are 10 floors of apartments for important employees, where my Dad and I stay, followed by 10 floors of middle management, there are four floors that only MLA members have access to, one of which is the training facility floor Geten and I train on most of the time, and the last of 75 floors is my Uncle's office and residence.

Getting out of the elevator, it leads straight into his reception, which is currently manned by a man with a mouse mutation quirk, his face vaguely mouse like and his ears round and on top of his head similar to Mickey Mouse.

He stands up, "Mr Yotsubashi is expecting you, please follow me," he says with a polite smile on his face, which I return.

I know the way, but this guy is kinda new, so I guess I can't fault him for doing his job.

He leads me down the hallway to Uncle's office, coming to the massive dark wooden doors, he pokes his head in. "Mr Yotsubashi, Young Mr Hanbata has arrived."

"Ah, good, let him in."

The mouse man opens the door for me, closing it gently once I've entered the office.

"Hi, Uncle!" I greet the man, and he smiles at me from his desk, but the fact that it's not as wide as usual is slightly concerning.

"Hello, young man, please, take a seat," he says.

I take my seat at one of the chairs in front of his desk and prepare to answer his questions as he thrums his fingers on his desk.

"First things first, what's happening with your endurance? How much progress have you made?"

"With an extra two hours of sleep, a diet double the size of most of my classmates, and moving around as little as possible outside of training, I can last the entire day."

"And without those extra measures? Skeptic said he did endurance tests on you a while back, how long did you last?"

"I last 10 hours if I'm active the whole day with the extra sleep and food, 6 hours on a slacker day without the extra energy, and 2 hours on an active day without the extra measures."

"Not good." the man frowns "I take it you and Skeptic have been discussing remedies?"

"Yes sir, we have looked at a few meta-abilities, but haven't come to final decision yet."

"Give me three the three favourites, and give me your thoughts on them."

"An emitter that allows me to steal energy from those around me. Gives me an overwhelming advantage against higher numbers, but we tracked it down to a well-known criminal. It seems to have weak effects against single targets and is only really useful in combat, I would not get any advantage during downtime."

The man nods, "The fact that it belongs to a well known criminal means it'll probably be recognized when it's used, which gives the government a chance to figure out what your meta-ability does. I don't like this one, next."

"A solar powered emitter meta-ability. It would allow me to absorb energy from the sun. We tracked down the owner, he's a retired hero from Russia, from before they shut down their hero system. It seems that the meta-ability also gave him super strength and the ability to emit energy beams. The man has been largely forgotten, so the meta-ability being recognized shouldn't be an issue. Unlike other solar powered meta-abilities, he was able to stockpile the energy, so I could save up energy for night-time too."

"The catch?"

"It's an S grade meta-ability, so it'll take me a few years to save up for it."

"But in the meantime, you'll be stuck with your current stamina issue, keep it as an option for later, but we need a remedy for right now. Last one."

"Energy Saver, it's an emitter meta-ability, that massively reduces the energy the body consumes, the user went missing some 20 years ago and is presumed dead, but Meta-Gamer says that there have been three users for this meta-ability, the original is dead, but the second two are alive."

I see Uncle flinch a little at that. I guess he also thinks All for One got his hands on this one.

"Its effects aren't insanely powerful, since it's a C+ grade meta-ability, but it should be strong enough to counter the effects of Self Recovery. Plus it's probably subtle enough of an effect that no-one should notice."

He's a bit hesitant, but, "That one sounds the best, it's subtle, covers all your bases, and is cheap enough for you to buy before the year is out."

He coughs, "Now that's sorted, I want to discuss some things about the I-expo."

Oh? I guess it's time to see if I played the gentleman well enough.

"While I was less than optimistic, considering what Sactum was telling me about your attitude." he fixes me with a look, I sweat drop and respectfully avoid eye-contact, making him chuckle. "But, I was pleasantly surprised to see that you left your attitude in the car with Rampart, you behaved excellently, you were perhaps the most well-behaved child at the venue, and definitely better behaved than a few adults."

I don't know what poor unaware businessman that was a jab at, but I appreciate the compliment none-the-less.

"However." He pauses, his gaze locking onto mine, scanning me for any reaction. "You have a crush on Melissa Shield."

You know, once I had discovered Language Mastery extended to facial expressions, I had spent hours in my mirror practicing a poke-face that could fool a god. But the sheer out-of-nowhere-ness of that line broke my neutral face, and left what must have been the must befuddled, gobsmacked and ultimately confused and disinterested face I have ever had on my face.

It served to make the large man laugh, who guffawed so hard his table shook, causing a few pens to roll off it.

"Oh thank Destro!" He managed after he catched his breathe, still chuckling a little. "I had almost though you'd fallen in love with a Meta-Ability lacking nobody." He shrugs of his laugh. "In all seriousness, you should know that you won't be marrying any woman with a weak meta-ability, let alone someone without one."

This time, my poker face remained strong, even as it might have strained against my rage at what he just implied. The man was NOT going to be controlling my life like that, and Melissa Shield is perhaps the furthest thing from a nobody as well, is this man really that much of a quirk supremacist that he rejects any other strengths the person has?

"Ideally, I want to introduce you to the young heiress of Yaoyorozu Materials, not only is she set up for success with her parent's company, but the meta-ability that would result from your marriage would be absolutely divine! Imagine, meta-ability creation? Or item purchasing? Even if the children get a mutated meta-ability, having two parents with strong meta-abilities would at least guarantee it's power."

His smile and my disgust grew the more he talked.

"If that didn't work out, I was planning on having you marry Saiko Intelli, the potential of that meta-ability marriage is also high, not to mention her own inheritance."

His face darkened.

"But she's off the table now, I had initially wanted you to get close to her, swoon her, so that she could see the marriage as one of love and not one of means, but not anymore." He paused, his face turning dangerous. "She's been snooping around your meta-ability, normally not an issue for a civilian, but she has an intelligence enhancing meta-ability."

He leans forward, looking me in the eyes.

"If she ever gets too close, she's dead. You understand?"

I'm trying my absolute hardest not to break my neutral face, the rage, disgust and contempt at the monster of a man in front of me barely constrained.

"DO. YOU. UN-DER-STAND?"

Keep it in...

"Yes. Sir." I growl. Fuck!

Even with my enhanced perception, I can barely notice the massive dark hand slam into my right side, I can feel my ribs snap, as I'm launched into the left wall of the office. My mind is dominated with pain, the only other sensation is the my energy draining rapidly as Self Recovery pulls my mangled body together.

My eardrums might have burst from the impact, because I realize I can't hear anything but ringing. Self Recovery fixes them just as I feel a hand grab my face, twisting it to look up at the man who just swatted my like a fly.

"You know I don't tolerate that tone from you, boy. Rampart will fetch you now, and you'll have some time to reflect in the medic bay before you apologize to me."

Just as he lets me go, my reconstructing body drains me of the energy I need to stay awake.

Rampart's knuckles were white from the pressure of his clenched fists, as he sat across from his young charge's medical bed.

This hadn't been the first time this had happened. In the two years since the death of Takako Hanabata, Re-Destro has effectively taken full custody of the young man.

Trumpet hadn't even tried to fight it, believing sacrifice was necessary for the cause, even if the man seemed to weep about it, he did nothing.

It hadn't taken Re-Destro long to implement the corporal punishment. It had been light, at first, but now that the kid was growing older and had a regeneration quirk, he had begun taking full on swings at the child.

Rampart bit his lip in frustration. His anger was largely directed at Young Hanabata's abuser, but an undeniable amount was targeted at himself. Tatsuyuki Tokoname has failed in his mission to maintain his mentor's legacy.

He tried, but without Seer's natural leadership charisma, he couldn't rally up more than a small percentage of her most devoted allies. The number of restorationists in the MLA were dwindling every day.

Not only that, but he has been standing at a distance, doing nothing but superficial body-guarding for this young man as he suffers at the hands of the villain who calls himself Re-Destro.

That day, Rampart resolves to tell the young man about his support, and be there for him no-matter what. Even if he might drop the restorationists, he has to atleast fullfill this one promise.

A seven year old boy with green hair bawls his eyes out, his mother holding him tightly in comfort, as they sit in the back seat of a black car.

They drive away from their old home, their old neighborhood and community. They're moving to the Chiba district. Why?

Because the man driving the car decided their current home was unhealthy for his son. Sure, his new job is going to earn less money, but anything to get away from this shithole.

Two years, two whole years of begging. BEGGING the schools to do something about the bullying, and nothing. He had already considered packing things up, but what had been the final straw was hearing what Mitsuki's child called Izuku.

Deku. Useless. USELESS! The child Izuku looked up to like he was almost as amazing as All Might, got off on calling Izuku useless.

Hisashi Midoriya had grown a lot in the past two years, and now, he had an unshakeable resolve to the best for his son.

A fourteen year old boy with red wings stands at attention in front of a small committee inside one of the many secret rooms in the HPSC.

"Unfortunately it seems that Lady Nagant is no longer fit to operate as a hero, while she has been deemed "not a threat", she will still be monitored." says one of the suits.

"What this means for you Hawks," a woman pipes up, "is that we will have to increase the intensity of your training, so that you are field ready the moment you turn legal. Losing Nagant is a big blow to us, so while we might reach out to various other heroes to try and pick up the slack, you will have to be working double-time to make sure you're as good as you can be when we send you out."

"Yes, Ma'am!"

Author's Note

Butterfly Effect! Hawks story might not be changing much, but it is changing a little.

Hisashi can't stand the bullying so moves his family to another district. I'm thinking that Inko would have done it too, but she didn't have the resources because of Hisashi's absence.

Rampart is finally making a move! Also ya'll finally get to see more of the monster that is Re-Destro, even if it ain't a pretty sight.

Btw, the Solar Power quirk is a reference to one of my favorite fanfics, My Hero Academia:Son of Justice by Jayme F. Midorikawa go check it out!
