"Hmm, last time let's see…" Edwards tapped his chin as he recalled what happened last time for the camera, despite the camera still being turned off, "We had a fairly short challenge between our final four prisoners, a simple game of See and Speak-no-evil. George and Davy were picked as Speak-No-Evil and immediately ended up fighting each other instead of immediately looking for their teammates like they were supposed to, while Deena and Jade were See-No-Evil and had to find their respective partners before the others could. Davy managed to claim the advantage over George by beating him during their brawl, but him and Jade going in opposite directions led to the two being split up long enough for George to get back up just as the four all met up at the prison yard, and George just happened to be the faster prisoner and caught up to Deena before Davy could reach Jade." Edwards coughed and covered his mouth as the black 'ink' leaked out a bit, "Jade decided to make a sacrificial play and quit the competition to keep Davy safe, something George really… appreciated. Well, I wonder if George can take the advantage now that he's in danger of being eliminated by the combined efforts of Deena and Davy? Who knows? I'm sure we'll find out today…"
Intro Start
The intro started off with a shot of the prison, but instead of cameras popping out, the shot just went to static and cut over to the prison library.
"..." Inside the prison library, Aztaroth was reading a book but was interrupted when a loud crash came from behind him.
"..." The crash was revealed to have come from Romeo, who accidentally knocked over a bookshelf with his strength.
"..." After another static cut, Jade was seen picking up bits of litter in the courtyard, with a guard threatening to hit her if she didn't.
"..." Off in the distance, Picollo was washing off his makeup, suggesting that he didn't wanna wear it here.
"..." With the screen again turning to static, the shot was now of inside the cafeteria where Deena was eating breakfast for the day.
"..." Also in the cafeteria was Edna, who was eating god knows what.
"..." The shot stayed on Deena and Edna for a bit, before suddenly jumping to George who was looking outside from an old watchtower.
"..." George turned around, to see that a grinning Clover was behind him, causing the athlete to jump in surprise.
"..." With yet another static cut, we now got a shot of Relinda desperately trying to call someone on the prison phone, to no avail.
"..." Also in the phone room was Quinn, who had a chart of all the other contestants in her hand.
"..." Suddenly, the screen changed over to Davy and Rival, who were trying to avoid Edwards in the main cell block.
"..." Off to the left side of the cellblock, Jacque and Monica were trying to talk, but for some reason couldn't remember their conversation.
"..." Finally, on the right side of the cellblock was Salem, with the demon's eyes glowing with evil as he tapped his fingers together.
"...There is no escape…" Instead of the final shot of the intro being of the campers around some sort of campfire, it was of Abigor grinning manically, while holding the same blade he used to end Chris.
"...Indeed..." The camera zoomed in and pulled back to reveal Truthteller and Lyre, with the latter putting his hands in his face while the former was going over the plan to bomb the prison.
Intro End
A few people were gathered around in Hope's Lament's cellblock to watch a few members test out their powers, "Well…" Eadbhert was standing still as someone in robes hit him with a blacksmith hammer, only for the hammer to break upon contact with his body. The man looked at his hands while Abigor was completely lifeless in the background, "This power does seem to be useful, especially with mine." Eadbhert then fell to the ground as Abigor shot up, "Impressive, Mr. Beckwith, you have more use for this operation than I first thought…" Abigor looked down at the unconscious Eadbhert, "Someone take him to a bed… I forgot how long it takes to physically recover from my ability."
After Eadbhert had recovered from his blackout, the man followed Abigor into the room with the book as Abigor picked it up and flipped through the pages, "You know, it's unfortunate that this book offers so much from the demonic world to use… yet none of it solves the issue of this prison's range." Abigor set the book down, "All those demons and sins, yet none of them allow us to keep these abilities outside of two miles from here."
Eadbhert crossed his arms and sat back, "There's gotta be another way to get this though, right? Our recent slayings have definitely turned the eyes of the police and it can't be long until they track us back to this place, so we need to hurry up with this soon.
"That's why I think we may have to start abducting people we plan on getting rid of," Abigor fixed his glasses and glared at Eadbhert, "My latest scheme has use for them, too, as I'd like to see if any of them can give us the power of wisdom and intelligence."
"Why that?" Eadbhert questioned as Abigor walked by him and looked over to other people in the prison.
Abigor dryly chuckled as he began to explain, "I figure with how potent certain abilities are in this prison, someone will eventually have to gain knowledge that is far greater than anything we could ever comprehend… knowledge that will reveal to us how to expand the 'invisible field' that surrounds this place… the only issue is how long it would take to obtain said knowledge… it could take a millennium before the odds fall in our favor… but I believe we've found a way to survive said millennium."
Eadbhert followed Abigor as they walked through the halls of the prison, "How? Is there some sort of black magic in the book that allows for immortality?"
"There is, but you'd have to sell your soul to demons and face a fate far worse than just hell itself," Abigor shook his head before slightly grinning, "But… you should do just nicely." Eadbhert was going to say something in response as Abigor cut in again, "Our abilities can work perfectly together, and given your immortality in this prison, you could safely wait out the time while I use my own ability to stay inside your mind during it… so if things ever go wrong, we have a backup."
"But when you used your ability on me I blacked out completely, if that happens I fear over time I will disappear into nothingness, and you'll be alone again." Eadbhert retorted, "Can't we just summon the forces of hell to bring this world crashing to the ground?"
"No." Abigor bluntly replied, "I want to personally destroy everyone and everything, a demon could never understand the lust for revenge I currently have for the world… and I will get my revenge, one day or another…"
"Well Hawkeye," Lyre walked into a holding cell where Hawkeye was waiting and unlocked the door, "We've gotten some confirmation of your innocence in the massacre of your squad, and we'll be releasing you for now." Lyre walked Hawkeye out of the cell and took him outside, where he then unlocked his handcuffs, "We should also find a way to get your voice back for you, I hope for your sake doctors can give it back to you."
Hawkeye nodded as he and Lyre made their way to a car was blackened windows. The soldier opened the door and sat in the car, before it began to drive away as Lyre waved him off. The detective sighed before turning back to the building, "I would've much preferred Hawkeye just being a traitor this whole time… at least that's something that I can easily comprehend. At least this discovery of the supernatural has gotten Ryo interested in investigating again… not that he'll be able to find anything that can save the people in there." Lyre opened the door to the agency and sat down in his office chair. The detective rubbed his face while groaning as Truthteller walked in.
"Well, I just got off the phone with some higher-ups and they've declared that after the prison is bombed for the area to be monitored until we can confirm whoever's hiding out there is indeed deceased or gone." Truthteller explained, "I don't think anything will come of it, to be frank, but gotta listen to them I suppose."
Lyre groaned and pushed his chair back, "Come on, doing this is definitely going to result in something bad happening, we're at a lose-lose situation no matter what happens."
"Well, if the demon turns out to be real, then at least we tried to kill it before it could destroy everybody, there's always that." Truthteller laughed and shrugged before turning to the door of the room, "But I'll say Lyre, if you really are worried about the people in there you could always just find a way to do something about it yourself…" Truthteller walked out of the room while Lyre raised an eyebrow.
"Do something about…" Lyre grabbed a nearby phone and dialed one of the many assistants at the agency, "Hello? It's me Lyre, I need you to get me near Hope's Lament by tomorrow and I also need you to get me another drone… I wanna get footage of this demon in case he does actually end up dead or if he survives but doesn't immediately attack…"
Davy slammed his fists together and cracked his knuckles with a wide grin on his face as he and Deena ate breakfast together in the cafeteria, while George sat as far away from the two as he could, "Ha! Yeah, Deena, we're gonna completely destroy George in this finale challenge, he stands no chance against the both of us!" Davy shouted out loud, not even caring that George could hear him, after all, why should he? In Davy's mind, he and Deena are going to have a quick challenge where they gang up on George and then eliminate him after one of them wins, so there was nothing to be worried about yet.
Deena crossed her arms and sat back, "You know with how bad this prison has been for my whole stay here, I gotta say, I'm glad there's someone actually fun like you who made it bearable here. Especially after-"
"Nope! Davy says we're not gonna bring that guy up ever again!" Deena was cut off by Davy as he took a big bite out of the slop he had for his breakfast, "Davy wants us to focus on how we're gonna go to the finale and how one of us is gonna win a whole lot of cash… and maybe even kill a bad guy with it…" Davy thought the last part to himself, "Of course Davy's confident in his victory but he won't be too upset if a lucky fluke allows Deena to win." Davy joked around.
"Oh please, I'm gonna kick your sorry ass in the finale!" Deena grinned and crossed her arms, "Might as well start packing your bags Davy, because if anyone's gonna win this season it's gonna be the girl who was in prison for so much longer!"
Davy tossed his lunch tray away and looked back to Deena, "That just means Davy is better at getting away with crimes, seeing as he's done tons of things and managed to get away from the cops before they could catch up to him!" Davy bragged about his criminal record.
"Please, I could've gotten away with a ton of things, but then I'd have to leave some of my favorite prisoners behind, like how where would I be in life if I couldn't see Spine Crusher again?" Deena laughed before sitting back, "Besides Davy, you afraid to go back to prison or something like that? Everyone knows that the best part is showing up the prisoners who think they can do whatever they want."
Davy growled, "Davy is anything but afraid of a little prison! Davy could survive in any prison no matter what the circumstances are, whether it be freezing cold or in the middle of some random ass desert! Because Davy ain't no loser, he can handle anything!"
"Sure you can Dav," Deena cracked her knuckles and set her arm out, "I bet you couldn't even beat me in a simple arm wrestling match."
"Yes, he could!" Davy slammed his arm on the table and gripped Deena's hand while glaring at her, "One two three go!" Davy yelled as the two immediately began their arm wrestling match, the two groaned as their arms before stayed in the same position, neither of them being able to overcome the other's strength.
The two looked at each other's hands, then at each other, before both of them raised their free fists and punched each other in the face, causing them to knock themselves both to the floor. "Ow! That was Davy's plan, you cheater!" Davy rubbed his face while Deena got back up.
"No, that was my plan, you copied me!" Deena watched Davy get up off the floor before sitting down at the table.
"Well, whatever, Davy wants a rematch! No punching this time because he doesn't even need to cheat to beat you at arm wrestling!" Davy held his arm out as Deena grabbed his hand.
Deena rolled her eyes and sat down as the two immediately went back to arm wrestling, "Maybe don't try punching me this time then!" The two glared at each other as they stayed locked in an arm wrestling match, both of them being too prideful to let the other win.
Confessional: Davy
"Davy has the strength of a greek god, and nobody can't outgun him!" Davy flexed his muscles, "Maybe on a good day Davy would let Deena win, but he refuses to lose to her so close to the finale!"
Confessional Over
Confessional: Deena
"Davy might be the slightest bit stronger than me, but I'm used to dealing with guys who think they're hot shit at every little thing… you just gotta find a workaround."
Confessional Over
Deena fixed her position before pulling Davy's arm slightly forward and pinning him to the table, "Got ya!" Deena grinned as Davy pulled his arm away and frowned, "Mad you lost?"
Davy blushed at his loss and turned his head away, "Only a little… Davy doesn't lose when it really counts… he'll get you back in the finale, that's for certain!"
"Well, I guess I'll see you there and we'll find out who's really the better player, won't we?" Deena grinned and held out her hand for Davy to shake.
The rocker grinned back and shook her hand while nodding, "Yeah, we will!" The two shook hands while George just groaned while watching them from off in the distance.
Confessional: George
"Damn, having to deal with both Deena and Davy is one hell of an issue, how am I gonna win the prize money if I have to deal with those two assholes being all buddy-rival-buddy…" George suddenly sighed, "Rival… damn I miss fucking with that guy, he was more fun than these two assholes ever were."
Confessional Over
George got up from his table and dumped his breakfast into the trash bin, "Alright George Jackson, you just gotta think of something to get rid of the idiot or his lackey before they can get rid of you… what's a good plan?" George thought to himself before sitting back down at his table "Hmm… maybe I could use my powers to keep Davy trapped so he can't show up for a challenge, which would probably get him disqualified… not a bad idea…" George chuckled before face-palming, "No wait, I'd have to separate the two and there's no way I could manage something like that, those two are practically inseparable now that it's the final three and they're certain they're going to the finale together."
George snarled as he sunk down into his chair in an attempt to stay out of sight from the duo, "What else can I do… hmm… maybe I could trick one of them into hitting Salem or Edwards… then they get removed from the competition by default… but how would I get that to happen? Nobody would fall for that trick, not even Davy."
George rubbed his chin before snapping his fingers, "You know what, my power is definitely better than both of theirs combined, so I'll just take them both out, and then I'll go about my day completing the challenge! I won't even bother wasting my time trying to fight up close either, I'll just do that tsunami thing I did to Relinda way back and I'll bury them both before winning the challenge! Yeah, that's it! I'm gonna kick their asses!"
George slammed his hands down on his table and glared at the pair that was far away from him, "Alright listen up fuckers, I hope you both enjoyed your stay here, because one of you is gonna be sent home packing when I whoop both of your guys' ass in the challenge today so hard you'll be crying to mommy like a little baby!"
The two just looked at George in pure silence before they both suddenly burst out laughing at his claim, "Yeah ok, George!" Deena keeled over laughing while Davy was hitting the table with his fist while hollering.
George clenched his fist and groaned, "I'm serious! I can beat you both easily, I don't need a damn alliance to be competent, just watch me!" George claimed while the two just continued to laugh at him, "You'll see! You're both gonna see, and then when one of you gets eliminated you'll realize how wrong you were to underestimate me! I'll show you!" George shook his fist at the two before sitting back in his seat.
"Fucking idiots not taking me seriously… who do they think they are? I'm THE George Jackson, the greatest football player of all time, I can beat them with a little bit of playing dirty, just wait and see!" George promised himself while he watched the two joke about his threat to them, "Look at them… so confident in their safety… I refuse to let them come out on top over me… I'm gonna win this challenge no matter what it takes to win against them both!" George slammed his fist down on the table in anger, making a noise loud enough to be heard throughout the entire room.
George sighed as he calmed down and looked down at the floor, "At least I've got an idea if I lose the challenge… hopefully those two didn't do anything to fuck with it." George gave a slight grin as Davy and Deena finally went back to talking about who's gonna win between the two of them in the finale, "But I should be fine… as long as this challenge is easy, and I can keep a low profile while the two are trying to win… I should be able to handily take this victory…"
While George was thinking about how he was gonna try to beat Deena and Davy, and Davy and Deena were talking about whatever it is they talk about, Edwards walked into the room with a big grin on his face and a mace in his hands, "Oh hello there prisoners, also known as the final three… I hope you're all proud of yourselves for making it so far all on your own, whether it be from cunning plays, doing great in challenges, or brute force, you've all cemented yourselves a spot in the final three for a reason. But, only two of you can move on to the finale, and the person who's going back to jail for the penultimate round will be decided today… in a sort of callback to our first challenge."
"A mini tournament?" Deena crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, "Sounds pretty easy to win this time, especially against George of all people."
"Close, but the challenge is for you all to hunt each other down, and to… neutralize each other in whatever way you see fit, to put it in simple terms for you, find each other in the prison and knock the other two out before they can knock you out and you'll have earned yourselves a very safe victory." Edwards coughed as a small bit of the black liquid came out, "Anyone have any questions?"
George raised his hands, "Yeah, do we get a head start or something like that?"
Edwards chuckled a bit, "Of course not, there wouldn't be any fun in letting you all start off without knowing where each other are, the fun is in watching you all run around chasing each other until you lose someone. But don't worry George, I brought you a weapon of sorts since you'll most likely be dealing with a two-on-one situation." Edwards chucked the mace over to George, who just looked down at it.
George took a deep breath before looking back up at Edwards, "DAMN EDWARDS! A MACE IS SO HELPFUL AGAINST A GUY WHO CAN BREATHE FIRE AND A GIRL WHO CAN EAT ANYTHING! THANKS FOR THAT!" George yelled at the host, who just laughed at his little temper tantrum.
"You're very welcome Mr. Jackson." Edwards chuckled as George muttered something to himself and got up from his table, "What about you two, do you have any questions?" Edwards asked Davy and Deena.
"Yeah, actually," Deena looked around at all the unmanned cameras, "I thought the interns would return today, where'd they all go?"
Edwards put his arms behind his back and grinned, "We figured we no longer needed them after last challenge, so I had Salem take them all back home yesterday, any other questions from you two?" Edwards asked again, while the two just looked at each other before both of them shook their heads, "Good, with the explanation out of the way, I declare that this challenge has begun! Better go hide, right Geo-" Edwards looked over to where George was sitting to see the boy had already left his seat and was now who-knows-where, "Well, looks like he moves fast when he's worried… Let's hope you two can find him before he manages to ambush you…" Edwards laughed while he left the cafeteria.
"Please, Davy and Deena can handle this challenge with no problems!" Davy confidently stated as he and Deena got up to go look for wherever George ran off to.
Confessional: George
"Hell fucking no am I gonna stay close to those two in a challenge themed around hunting eachother down, I'm gonna hide out and then I'll wait for the perfect chance to strike and I'll take them both down together before they can do anything to get rid of me!" George pointed at himself with a cocky grin on his face, "Yeah… I'm gonna do just that…"
Confessional Over
"Fuck that, fuck that, fuck that!" George panted as he snuck his way into one of the prison's many vents and immediately began to crawl away from where he entered, "Just gotta sneak up on them when they don't see it coming, and then victory will be mine!" George crawled forward and looked through a grate to see Cellblock B, with nobody in there looking for him. The all-star decided to stick with the vents due to their much less obvious nature as a hiding spot and dragged the mace Edwards left him with him through the vents, making a slight screeching noise that echoed throughout where he was hiding, "Goddammit, why did I even bring this stupid fucking weapon along with me anyways? It's just gonna alert them to me!"
George stopped outside another grate as he heard the sound of someone running underneath him, he looked through the cover to see Cellblock C, with both Deena and Davy running past each of the cells while looking for him, "There they are… but this area isn't open enough for me to use my power's to their best extent… I should try going up to the chapel and setting a trap up there so I can get rid of them before they can catch up to me." George thought to himself and grinned as he kept navigating the maze that was the ventilation system of Hope's Lament, "Ok… here… I think…" George looked up to see a fan that happened to be blocking his path from going up.
George rolled his eyes and smirked before shooting a tendril at the fan, stopping it completely. After that was done, George used his ability to pull himself up to the second floor of the prison. George then opened a cover as silently as possible as to prevent Deena and Davy from hearing him and used a tendril as a rope to send himself down to the floor of the upstairs hallway. Luckily for him, nobody was there to throw a wrench into his plans yet so he wasted no time running off into the Chapel so he could set up a trap, "I think if I…" George shot a few tendrils onto the ground and wall to set up a makeshift snare trap, "Yeah… that should work." George sat back to the opposite wall of the chapel and readied his tendrils in case somebody decided to show up unannounced.
"I'll wait here for a bit… if they don't show up then I'll try ambushing them and leading them back to this trap… hopefully this works out because I'm betting everything on this trap just fucking working for me." George took a deep breath and kept his arm steady as he anxiously waited for the sounds of someone approaching to echo through his ears. The stress of being in a two-on-one was really getting to George and it showed, considering just how indecisive he was being during this challenge. "Just… work for me…" George took another breath as the camera switched over to show where his pursuers were looking.
"Alright, where do you think that guy went?" Deena asked Davy as the two of them finished searching through Cellbock C, finding nothing of interest in there, "I'd say he probably took to the sewers thinking he wouldn't find us or something, considering it's a pretty good hiding spot." Deena suggested as Davy took one final check through the cellblock to see that George was, indeed, not there, "He could also probably be hiding out in the basement somewhere, or maybe he scurried back to the cafeteria as a sort of mind game type thing." Deena shrugged as the two walked into the main hallway.
Davy looked over to the basement entrance, "Davy thinks we should go look in the sewers, George is definitely hiding down there like a little coward since he knows he stands no chance against the two of us!" Davy immediately began running towards the basement entrance before he kicked the door open and jumped down the stairs, "Let's go kick that guy's ass!" Davy yelled out as Deena noticed the vents above. Davy turned around to notice Deena just standing around, "What are you waiting for Deena? Let's go beat up George already!" Davy yelled up the stairs.
"Maybe George is hiding up in the vents?" Deena noted as she looked at the vents, "It looks like it could fit him inside there?" Deena noted the possibility of George taking the vent path, "I should go check up there."
"Hell no!" Davy ran back up the stairs, "If we split up, that makes it easier for George to sneak up on us and take us out, we should go explore the sewers together to not have to risk that loser getting close to us!" Davy snapped his fingers and looked up at the vents with Deena, "Let's just do a quick check through the sewers and then we can search through the vents." Davy suggested while Deena just shrugged.
"Sure whatever man." Deena put her hands behind her head and calmly walked down the stairs, "Though I don't think George could seriously beat either of us in a one-on-one fight anyways, but sure let's go down and play it safe."
Davy ran past Deena and ran into the execution room and kicked over the box the covered the trap door that led to the sewers, "There it is!" Davy grinned as he jumped down into the sewers, though Deena stayed back and facepalmed instead of following behind the rocker, "What are you waiting for Deena? Afraid to get dirty or something?" Davy teased while Deena just shook her head.
"Davy… the box was still over the trapdoor." Deena replied before facepalming again.
Davy scoffed while raising an eyebrow, "Yeah, and the problem is?"
Deena facepalmed a third time before muttering out, "If the box was over the door… how did George get into the sewers?"
"He…" Davy stayed silent before climbing back up to Deena and groaning, "Ok, fine, we can check the vents or whatever… Davy was wrong…" Davy pouted while crossing his arms.
Deena patted Davy on the shoulder while passing by him with a smirk, "Maybe leave the seeking to me Davy, you're the muscle against George anyways since your power can be a bit better on him than mine is."
Davy groaned as the two headed over to find a good opening to the vents, "Now how do we get up there?"
"I think there's a good entrance upstairs, let's go there." Deena ran with Davy up the stairs to go find the entrance to the vents, only for both of them to stop when they spotted George's tendril still hanging from the spot where he left, "Well… looks like we found a clue to where George went…" Deena elbowed Davy before carefully grabbing onto the tendril, "Hows about we follow this little trail of his, eh?"
"Hell yeah…" Davy followed behind as the two of them climbed up the tendril to go find George.
"Come on… where are you?" George muttered out as he stood still, ready to absolutely kill whoever dared to go into the room, "You gotta come in here eventually… So just show-" George stopped thinking about his plan when he heard a small noise coming from the vent in the chapel, the quarterback wasted no time turning to the vent and firing a tendril at it. George then pulled the tendril back and ended up pulling Davy through the vent before throwing him into the wall, "Son of a bitch…" George mumbled as Deena dropped down into the room.
"Agh!" Davy groaned as he got up and he and Deena both got ready to rush, "Let's rush him Deena!" Davy yelled out as George stood between them both.
George chuckled while slowly shooting tendrils out of his hands, tendrils that began to wrap around his body, "I see how it is… gang up on the only black prisoner here… really great.. However with that being said," George grew a cocky grin as the tendrils completely covered his body, giving him a sort of thorny armor that would hurt him, but also whoever tried to touch him, "Fuck you both." George wasted no time getting to work, immediately shooting a tendril at both Davy and Deena… except he aimed carefully when he fired, making sure to wrap a tendril around both of their necks, which pulled them both to the wall. For Davy, this meant that he wouldn't be able to use his fire breath due to not being able to breathe, while Deena wouldn't be able to eat anything below her as she couldn't move her head in any way.
"Heh heh…" George pulled himself towards Davy and immediately started laying a massive beatdown on the rocker, punching him in the gut multiple times with his thorn-covered hands. Davy winced in pain as Deena pulled the tendril off of her and ran over to help, "Hmph," George grinned from under his armor and shot at Deena before throwing her directly into Davy, knocking her to the ground but freeing Davy in the process.
"Son of a bitch… he's a little better than last time…" Davy groaned as he and Deena got up.
Deena looked to George's right side, "Attack from his left side while I go from the right, try to keep him multitasking!" Deena ran to George's right side while Davy shot white hot flames at the football player, which burned through his tendrils faster than he could make them.
"Shit…" George used a tendril to pull himself backward before he fired another tendril, this time aiming for Deena's feet to keep her immobilized. While Deena was dealing with the trap, George pulled himself over to Davy while dodging a blast of white fire, "Guess who wants some revenge for yesterday Davy?" George hit Davy across the face multiple times before sneaking behind him and garroting him with a tendril, "Me!" George pulled the tendril down on Davy's neck to prevent him from shooting fire.
Deena gasped as she tried to free herself from the ground, while Davy tried to free himself. The rocker managed to put his hand underneath the tendril, and that was all he needed to shoot one powerful shot of fire at the ceiling, causing a small bit of it to collapse over the two. But instead of jumping out of the way, George held Davy down and forced the two of them to take the hit together.
"Davy!" Deena yelled out as she freed herself and ran over to go fight George, the quarterback knew to avoid her, however, and pulled himself back to avoid getting any parts of himself bitten off by the delinquent.
"Don't you remember what happened during the prison games challenge Deena? I was able to get rid of you easily!" George looked up at hit the Chapel's chandelier with his power, "So how about you eat this?" George ripped the chandelier from the ceiling and through it at Deena, who was unable to use her power in time before the chandelier sent her flying into the wall. George immediately fired as many tendrils as he could in order to keep Deena stuck to the wall, "That should keep her for a while."
George was then caught off guard by being blasted in the back by one of Davy's explosive attacks. George turned around and snarled as Davy grinned and cracked his knuckles, "Come and get it, wanker." Davy grinned as George tried to hit him with his tendrils, only to miss due to Davy dodging just barely, "Come on already! Work better on your aim! You couldn't hit a stationary target if you tried!" Davy mocked George as Deena worked on freeing herself from the tendrils.
"This should be fun…" George let two tendrils run down from his hands to use as a makeshift set of whips, the quarterback twirled the two weapons around before swinging one of them at Davy and leaving a good cut across his face, "Oooh, you should go see Salem about that one." George laughed as Davy scowled blasted fire at him, which still worked well against George's armor despite not being his best fire.
"There we go." Deena ripped the tendrils off of her and ran up behind George, before the football player could react to her getting up, Deena sunk her teeth down into George's shoulder, obviously she didn't bite down fully, as she didn't want to risk killing him, but she did enough to cause severe.
"Agh!" George hit the two away as he clenched his shoulder while began to tear up from the pain, "Ok…" George shot a quick tendril from his mouth to catch Davy off guard before he began charging his tendrils up, "Ever been in a tendril tsunami?" George grinned as his armor disappeared into his body before a massive swarm of tendrils fired out from his hands and hit his two opponents, George laughed as he put everything into this final attack, he knew that if this didn't work it was game over for him, so he had to make the most of every second of this attack…
Deena and Davy tried using their powers to fend off the attack but it was pointless as it threw both of them into the wall of the chapel, the entire room soon was filled with tendrils before they were all sent back to George's arms slowly…
"Please… work…" George mumbled out as he waited to see if he managed to defeat Deena and Davy or not, and unfortunately for him, when his tendrils pulled back he discovered that both of them were still conscious, albeit very cut up and bloodied, "Well… it didn't work on Relinda either…" George chuckled as he fell to his knees and the two slowly walked over to him. George tried to lift his arms up to fire another shot but it didn't work, he was too tired from fighting and his shoulder wound to do anything else. George looked up at Davy as the rocker pulled his arm back, getting ready to punch him, "Fuck… you." George snarled out as Davy punched him straight in the face, knocking the athlete out.
"Heh… nice job Deena." Davy laughed.
Deena nodded before chuckling, "You did pretty good too, Dav." The two were then interrupted by someone clapping from the entrance of the room.
Edwards slowly clapped his hands as he walked towards the three prisoners, making sure to avoid George's snare trap while he was at it, "Well, I'd hate to cut this challenge short, especially with how fun it is to watch you all go against each other, but let's all be honest here, we know what happens next now." Edwards looked over at the defeated George and then at Davy and Deena, "I'll say… Davy gets the immunity today, and is the only vote by extension. Feel free to choose whoever you like to go with you to the next round Davy…" Edwards chuckled as he walked away from the three.
"Fuck." George pulled himself up as Salem's healing power kicked in for all three of them before gripping his arm, it was clear Davy and Deena weren't gonna turn on each other now, so he might as well just 'pack his bags' and go back to jail.
Deena stretched her arms out, "Well, good game George, but looks like you're leaving now." Deena shrugged as she walked off, "Sorry." Deena sarcastically added as she left.
Davy followed after Deena, "Heh, looks like Davy's gonna have a nice time winning that hundred million next episode…" Davy walked off, leaving George to sit in defeat.
The three prisoners sat in the cafeteria for their last elimination ceremony, though there was no tension in the air this time, everyone knew what was gonna happen. "Davy, as I said before, you are safe…" Edwards called out Davy, who grinned and got up from the table. Edwards then turned his attention to the two remaining prisoners, "Well, well, well, there's two of you here, but only one can keep going. Will it be George like we all expect? Or will Davy have a last-minute change of heart by getting rid of Deena? That's always a possibility."
"As if." Deena scoffed and crossed her arms with a smug smirk.
George clenched his fist, "Don't screw me now Davy…"
"Regardless, you both fought hard to get here today, and it is my pleasure to announce that the person going home is none other than…" Edwards held up his hand and began to point at both of the contestants…

…"You." Edwards pointed at George, "How unfortunate Mr. Jackson, but your time in Hope's Lament is over… not that anyone expected anything different to happen."
George hung his head down low while the reality of his loss sunk in.
"Whatever." Deena got up and walked over to Davy as they both began to hear a soft noise coming from George, a noise that sounded like crying, "Oh come on man don't be such a baby, me and Davy went to jail numerous times, you can handle going there too."
George lifted his head up to reveal that he wasn't crying, no, he was laughing maniacally. George slammed his fist on the table as he cackled with laughter and ripped a freedom idol out from his pocket, "Fucking suck on this!" George slammed the idol on the table hard enough to crack it, "You screwed me out of the prize money so I'm gonna make sure one of you has to go back to jail!"
"Where'd you get that!?" Davy ran over to see the idol, all while George continued to laugh.
George wiped a tear from his eye as he got out of his seat, "Oh, Jade left it as a present for me, I couldn't believe it myself, but it was beautiful to see…"
George rushed back to his cell after Jade's elimination, knowing full well that he was losing in the next episode. But he noticed two items on his cell's bed that made him stop in his tracks, a freedom idol and a letter with his name written on it.
"The fuck?" George grinned while running over to the idol and snatching it, before taking a look at the letter. The quarterback ripped the letter open to see what it read, "Dear, George… I can't believe I'm doing this but, chances are, if you're reading this letter right now, you've already seen the idol I left for you before quitting the competition. I know we've had our disagreements before, and honestly, you really don't deserve something like this but, I wanna show that I'm not like what you said before… I spent most of the night looking for proof of my innocence but at least managed to find this, but I can't bring myself to use it on me over someone else. The only problem with this is that there are three of you, and only one can get the idol… I'm not sure what will happen to Davy and Deena, and if Edwards will actually give the winner the money and freedom… so I had to make a choice between the three of you, and I guess you could say you're the lucky one… Please tell Davy and Deena I'm sorry I couldn't rescue them as well… but there was only so much I could do. Sincerely, Jade."
"Wow…" George read the note before crumpling it up and tossing it aside, "What a fucking dumbass, imagine having freedom and just giving it to someone else for no reason." George laughed as he took the idol, "Looks like luck is always on my side!" George stuffed the idol into his pocket before going to look for a hiding spot, "And those two will never see it coming…"
"And that's pretty much what happened." George shrugged as Salem appeared behind him, "Take me back home baby! George Jackson flies free like he always should've!" George flipped both Davy and Deena off as Salem grabbed him and took him away, leaving Davy to scowl in annoyance at the loss of an idol while Deena just crossed her arms knowing she could've had a free backup plan.
"Well, that sure was an unexpected turn of events, wasn't it?" Edwards lightly chuckled as he turned to the door, "Congratulations you two, feel free to take a rest, I'd say you've more than earned one after fighting your way to the final two, besides, you two are gonna have to go against each other as well…"
Deena rubbed her arms and turned to Davy, "Well then, we can agree that there's no holding back from now on, right?"
"Hell yeah!" Davy lightly punched Deena in the shoulder, "Davy's so gonna beat your sorry ass in the finale! It's not even gonna be close!"
Deena laughed and grinned, "Oh yeah tough guy, you wanna bet on that?" Davy nodded in response to Deena's question, "Alright then, how about we have our fight right here right now? Edwards stopped us before we could get into it and I'm just dying to smack that cocky grin off your face!" Deena held out her first while Davy rolled his eyes with a smirk.
"Please, Davy isn't gonna lose now that he's made it so far, he's gonna slam dunk this challenge and then he's gonna get his prize money and he'll rub it in Deena's face when she goes back to jail!"
Deena cracked her knuckles, "Alright then! Let's do it, let's fight right now to see who's really gonna win, I mean what are you chick-" Deena was cut off by Davy immediately going for a punch to the face, "Ow!" Deena gripped her face in pain and fell to the floor, "What the hell is wrong with you? I didn't say we could start yet!"
Davy realized he messed up and rubbed the back of his head, "Ah! Uh Davy thought we were just gonna do a no holds barred-" Davy was cut off by Deena punching him in the face and knocking him to the floor.
"Don't try to surprise attack Deena Loveberry." Deena dusted her hands off and grinned, revealing she didn't care about Davy's punch, "That's my thing, not yours."
Davy chuckled and got up, "You smart motherfucker!" Davy rubbed his fist across his face and saw his lip was bleeding a bit, "Ha! You hit like a weakling! This is nothing to Davy!" Davy rushed forward and started hitting Deena with multiple punches, "Game over Deena!" Davy immediately went for his fire breath and shot it out at Deena, whose eyes widened at the attack.
Deena managed to avoid the burns from the fire by using her very own power to eat through the flames, "Eugh…" Deena coughed out, "Didn't think fire would taste so bad…" Deena ran forward and kicked Davy to the floor before picking up a chair from a nearby table, "Hey Davy, catch!" Deena tossed the chair at Davy and watched as it hit him on the head before he could react.
"Eugh… looks like Davy's gonna have to bring out the big guns…" Davy shout out a fireball before sucking it back into his mouth in order to do his explosion trick, while Deena continued to throw chairs at him. Davy spat the mini-explosion in his hand and ran towards Deena, giving her a very painful punch to the face that sent her flying, "Davy thinks your power is garbage Deena, and it's nowhere near as cool as Davy's."
Deena pulled herself up before biting a leg off a chair to use as a blunt weapon, "Nah if I actually wanted to use my power on you…" Deena dodged a blast of fire from Davy and smacked him across the face with the chair leg, "You'd be dead!" Deena went for another hit with the chair leg, but Davy managed to catch the weapon before he could be hit again and melted it with his fire breath before knocking Deena in the head with a quick but painful headbutt, "Augh…" Deena rubbed her head as Davy hit her in the gut and leg and swept her to the floor.
Deena grinned as Davy stomped on her back, the hits from the rocker were painful but the delinquent managed to lower the playing field by grabbing Davy by the leg and pulling him to the floor. "Heh… heh… got you!" Deena weakly smacked Davy on the back of the head while Davy responded by giving another kick to Deena.
Deena toughed out the kick and grabbed Davy by the collar before repeatedly punching him the face for his trouble, while Davy kicked her in the stomach over and over to get her off. "Huff… that all you… got?" Davy panted as he pushed Deena off of him and pulled himself off the ground, "Davy can do this all day!"
"So… can I…" Deena also panted as she got ready to keep going against Davy, "Why'd you stop using your powers Davy? Scared you might go too far?" Deena teased as Davy leaned against the wall.
"Davy… needs… a second…" Davy gripped his throat as Deena looked over at a table and grabbed it, "Oh goddammit…" Davy moaned as Deena pushed the table over to him to try and trap him against the wall, the rocker managed to avoid Deena's attack but still was too tired to use his fire breath anytime soon.
"Getting slow Davy!" Deena mocked Davy as he got behind a table for cover, "Looks like this prison is making you soft!" Deena teased, only to be hit in the head by a chair that Davy threw at her, "Augh!" Deena fell to the floor as Davy laughed.
Davy got out from behind the table, "That's for trying to hit Davy with a table!" Davy ran over to Deena and tried to stomp on her, but missed due to her rolling out of the way. Deena quickly got up off the ground and punched Davy in the face right as he did the same to her. The two hit each other for a good few seconds before both collapsed to the floor, "Heh… come on… Davy can do more…"
"Yeah… not as much as I can…" Deena laughed as she crawled towards Davy.
Davy rubbed his face and sighed, "Damn… we really gotta get Salem to fix this!" Davy laughed as he and Deena got off the ground, "But Davy's gotta say, not bad for someone who's gonna lose tomorrow!" Deena and Davy shook hands to signify a truce.
"Yeah right." Deena jokingly rolled her eyes before looking at Davy's bruises, "We should probably go get Salem to fix us up, though, I wouldn't want to win just because you couldn't bring your a-game."
"Ha!" Davy smacked his leg, "Davy thinks you'd need to fight him when he's injured if you want to beat him!" The two headed off to go get healed by Salem, and while the mood was currently light for the two, they both knew next challenge they're gonna have to face each other and leave the other in the dust.
Davy went back to his cell after getting fixed up by Salem, while Deena herself was back in the cafeteria so she could steal some food, "Ah… finale time for Davy, this is gonna be great… and Davy got it all handed to him by-"
"Davis!" Bernadette suddenly appeared in front of Davy, to which the rocker responded by instinctively trying to hit him, though it failed due to the angel not being corporeal, "Thank the heavens both you and Deena are here, something is wrong with our plan!"
Davy shrugged, "Wrong? You told Davy that he and Deena had to make it to the finale together and that everything would be all right from then, what's the dealio now?"
Bernadette's light flickered, "Yes, you two were supposed to make it here together, and we're very happy to see that you've accomplished your goal, but the problem isn't with you, it was with George!"
"What'd that idiot do?" Davy rolled his eyes and laid back.
Bernadette flew around Davy in a form of panic, "He used a freedom idol! That wasn't intended in our original plan, Jade was supposed to use it for herself and George was supposed to go back to jail! This is bad… very bad…"
Davy blinked twice and laughed, "Uh… how exactly does George using the idol mess everything up? Plan was for me and Deena to make it to the finale and then to defeat Salem and that Abigor dude before escaping the prison together…" Davy revealed information he didn't share with Deena, "So what's the problem? George doesn't have anything to do with this."
"It may not sound like a problem yet, but the world works according to tiny details! Even the smallest most inconsequential things can have a huge impact on the future, you might know this concept as the butterfly effect!" Bernadette explained, "But… it may be alright, we've already come up with a counter plan to protect you."
"I think you're overthinking this man," Davy shrugged as he sat on his bed, Davy means, you never shared that info about Jade escaping with him so he figures it really can't be important."
"We didn't tell you about that so you wouldn't try to prevent it from happening… we need to have a full view of what's going to happen and when one piece slips off the table, it doesn't take long for everything else to fall…" Bernadette began to glow brightly in front of Davy, "Maybe George's freedom will make Abigor decide to use his abilities on you for his entertainment! He loves to play with people's morale, and now is a good time to do so in his eyes! If he goes into your heads he'll find the memories of you talking with us and-"
Davy held his arm out, "Relax! Davy knows it's gonna be fine. Let him get some sleep for tonight and tomorrow we can try taking them out before they can do anything to stop us." Davy yawned and rolled onto his side, "Davy's positive everything's gonna be a-okay."
"F-fine Davis… but we'll be keeping an eye on you two just in case Abigor does look… we don't want you to die here…" Bernadette disappeared from sight and left Davy alone in his cell. The rocker kept chuckling as he slowly drifted off to sleep, "He's too worried…" Davy thought about Bernadette's claims of little things having a big impact, "Davy's sure everything will be fine…"
"It gets rather boring waiting for Salem to reappear." Abigor groaned while standing next to the unconscious Edwards, "If only he could speed up the process of destroying evidence." Abigor went over to a chair and sat down in it, "At the very least, I can torment the prisoners more while I wait…" Abigor's body suddenly slumped over lifelessly, only for it to shoot up again not too long later, "What!?" Abigor shot out of his chair and paced around his room.
While Abigor was pacing around the room Salem finally returned from taking George home, "Sorry about that, there was a fair bit of evidence to dump and a lot of people to brainwash." Salem chuckled, "Of course… I made sure no casualties happened."
"Salem… what do you know about angels?" Abigor asked his demonic servant, who raised an eyebrow at the question.
"Angels? They're small balls of light who can't interact with the world nearly as well as I ever could," Salem answered, "Why do you ask?"
Abigor held out his hand, his boney fingers trembling with rage, "I was planning on using my usual tricks on Miss. Loveberry and I noticed in her mind… Davy was telling her about angels and how they're gonna free them… and given how Bilancia evaded us before, and you were unable to find him… it seems that he's correct in his claims to Deena."
Salem's eyes glowed as he gave a toothy grin, "Oh… so an escape is being planned is it?" Salem cracked his knuckles and spread his wings far, "Sounds like a good excuse to kill them…"
"Yes," Abigor nodded while still looking angry, "Wait until they fall asleep so they can't call upon the angels to help them out, and then…" Abigor pulled out his book and flipped through the pages to see a page labeled, 'Deep Desires.', "Put them in the trance labeled on this page… I'm gonna go through their minds to see what else they're hiding… and then they're dead…"
"Tomorrow's the day Lyre." Truthteller fixed his tie while sitting in a dark office with Lyre, "We'll bomb the prison and then we're gonna have to see what happens… Of course, I don't think anything will, it makes no sense that the demon wouldn't slaughter us all immediately."
Lyre looked at the floor and nodded, "Deena Loveberry, Davis Armadeus III, George Jackson, and Jade are all still in there…"
"It's either we do it now or wait until they send everyone back to jail and they leave the prison, this is our only shot… if a few must die for the many, so be it." Truthteller bluntly replied, knowing full well what would happen if their mission was successful.
"That doesn't-" Lyre was interrupted by a phone in the office ringing, "Hello…? Yes… I see… She is…? Ok, thank you…. Bye…" Lyre hung up the phone and turned to Truthteller, "Well, make that three, we found Jade in her original prison as well and-" Lyre was again interrupted by another phone call, "What!?" Lyre answered in rage, "Wait… what? And he's… but he… o…ok…thank you, goodbye…"
Truthteller raised an eyebrow, "What was the second call about?"
Lyre rubbed the back of his head, "George Jackson, almost every file of him being arrested and being in jail has been erased somehow… like he was innocent this whole time… The only files available are the ones in our databases."
Truthteller tore his tie while listening to this revelation, "Holy… their cyber talents are much greater than I expected… I wonder if his guards remember having him as a prisoner as well?"
"Jesus… the more stuff like this happens, the more I wonder," Lyre sat down in a chair while gripping his head, "What the hell do we do?" Lyre too looked out the window as he realized he was going to be near that island tomorrow…
And here we are, finally at the final two that we've all probably been waiting for. Pretty exciting to think about ngl, especially with how excited I've been for the finale ever since this season started. Anyways, looks like things are really screeching to a halt with all the plotlines and only time will tell for what happens in the final episode… and who's gonna fucking win baby! Like woohoo, who cares about being edgy someone's maybe taking home one hundred million next episode! Anyways, see you next episode!
Reasoning for elimination:
George's elimination actually changed last minute… because of Jade's elimination no less. You see, what happened was the original outline had Jade escaping and George going back to jail, but then I thought about it and decided that Jade giving up the idol for someone else would be a great character moment for her as opposed to her using it on herself. Plus, George is super fun to write and I guess I let some bias get in the way by having him get off scot free this season. Anyways as for George himself I always knew he was gonna be third, he's basically that contestant who can float by as nobody ever has any reason to actually target him, plus he's a pretty good player so I figured he'd at least make it to the second half of things. I def knew though that he couldn't make finale as his personality kinda makes it impossible for him to work with what's planned for that episode.
