Kageyama had made it to the town of clover and was now standing right outside of the meeting hall and was able to look in a window and see that the meeting was still ongoing.
Kageyama: Good! It looks like the meeting hasn't ended yet! At this distance they should hear lullaby with no problem. Finally the time has come.
Suddenly Kageyama felt someone place their hand on his shoulder. This caused him to flinch and turn to look at the person that had started him.
Kageyama: Wha-
Makarov: *Laughing* Oh no! This is no time for jokes! I have to hurry up and find where those four are going! An entire town could be wiped off the map!! You leave this place as fast as you can! Get yourself to a hospital.
Kageyama's thoughts: Makarov...!!! He's Makarov, the master of fairy tail! Tch! Why am I fated to bump into the flies wherever I go today!?
Kageyama: U-um
Makarov: Hm?
Kageyama: How'd you like to hear a song? They won't allow me to play at the hospital.
Makarov: Hm?
Kageyama: I really want someone to hear me play.
Makarov: That's one creepy looking flute.
Kageyama: It may look creepy, but I promise you that it will have the most beautiful melody that you've ever heard.
Makarov: I'm in a hurry. So one song only.
Kageyama: Of course. Be sure to listen well.
Kageyama then put the flute to his lips and was about to play it, but then he started to have second thoughts and remembering everything that those flies said to him.
Flashback...
Lucy: You aren't getting your rights back by doing that!!
Marcus: Sometimes it pays to think about the future.
Erza: Kage...please...we need your power!!
Natsu: He was in your guild! He was supposed to be one of you!!
Flashback end...
Gray: There he is!!
Marcus: It's the old man!
Erza: Master!
Suddenly the master of Blue Pegasus, Master Bob stretched out his arm to stop the fairy tail members from interrupting.
Bob: Shh. We're just getting to the best part. Stay there and watch.
Bob then saw Gray, Natsu, and Marcus and spoke to them.
Bob: Why, aren't you three the cutest things!!
Gray, Natsu, Marcus: Creepy!!
Erza: The master of Blue Pegasus!
Bob: Why, if it isn't Erza-chan!! You've gotten so big!
Makarov: What's the matter with you? Hurry up and play!
Kageyama then put the flute back up to his lips and was about to play again.
Gray: This is bad!!
Goldmine who is the master of Quaro Cerberus spoke up.
Goldmine: Be quite! This is where things finally get interesting!
Makarov: Now...
Kageyama's thoughts: I should just play it! All I have to do is play it and this will all be over! And that'll change everything!
Makarov: Nothing will change. The weak will always be weak. Nothing will ever change that. But not everything weak is always weak. Humans start off weak. That's why we have guilds. It's ones greatest fear to be alone. That's why you have those in your guild to support you in your times of need. Guilds band together and march together in order to strengthen yourselves up. A lot of people are clumsy and fail a lot. Those people might be taking a roundabout approach of doing things, but if they keep walking on and believe in the future, then strength will naturally come.
Makarov: If you decide to keep walking strong and trust in the future and not some cursed tool you'll never need that flute again. Right?
Kageyama's thoughts: How can he do that? How can he through me like that!?
Kageyama: I've lost!
Gray: Nice going old man.
Erza: Master!
Marcus: Nice work you crafty old geezer!!
Makarov: Noooo!! What are you four doing here!?
Erza: I knew you could do it! Your words moved even me to tears!
Erza then slammed Makarov into her chest plate. Hard.
Makarov: Oww!
Natsu: Old man your amazing!
Makarov: If you feel that way then stop patting me on the head!
Gray: That solves the problem then.
Lucy: You know Kage you really should go to a doctor.
Marcus: She's right you know.
Bob: I don't get all of this, but you're pretty cute too!
While everyone was celebrating and finally relaxed that everything was finally over the flute itself began to talk.
Lullaby: *Laughing* All you wizards are cowards! I can't stand this anymore! I, myself, will feast...
Lucy: Happy, that flute is talking!!
Happy: The smoke coming out of it is taking shape!
Lullaby: ...Upon all of...your souls!!
The flute then transformed into what can only be described as a demon from hell.
Lucy: Wha-!?
Happy: It-it's a monster!!!!
Kageyama: Wh-what!? I don't know any of this!!
Bob: Oh dear! What trouble!
Goldmine: He's...the demon of the book of Zeref!
Lullaby: I'm so hungry I can't stand it! Your souls will be my meal!!
Natsu: What's that!? He says he's going to eat souls!? Do they taste good or something!?
Marcus and Gray: How should we know!?
Lucy: I don't understand what happened. How did a monster come from...from a flute!?
Goldmine: The monster is Lullaby itself. In other words it's living magic! That's what Zeref's magic is.
Erza: Living magic you say...
Gray: Zeref!? But he is the most famous black wizard of the days of yore!
Bob: Zeref the Black Wizard. He was the most evil wizard in the history of magic. Who would have imagined that his dark legacy of four centuries ago would appear in our world today?
Lullaby: Now...which of your souls should I eat first? I've made my decision! I'll eat all of your souls together!
The large monster known as lullaby shot a massive energy beam out of its mouth and right at the group of people that were standing right in front of it.
Council members: Oh no!! It's Lullaby!!
Without warning Erza, Natsu, and Marcus ran at the demon all at once. Marcus and Natsu activated their flames wile Erza requiped her armor.
Goldmine: She requiped her armor!?
Erza then sliced the left leg of demon while Marcus and Natsu both kicked the demons face from both sides.
Council Member: Amazing!
Council member: What!? They kicked something that big!?
Council MemberAre those guys really supposed to be wizards?
Lullaby: Know your place, brats!!
The demon the fired multiple plasma blasts at Natsu and Marcus forcing them to dodge in mid air.
Natsu: Woah!
Marcus: Shit!
Gray: Ice make, Shield!
Suddenly a massive shield appeared in front of gray and everyone who happed to be behind him.
Council Member: So he's an maker wizard specializing in ice!?
Council Member: He's fast!
Council Member: He can preform maker magic that large in an instant!?
Lucy: Maker magic?
Happy: The power to put form to magic. There's also magic that steals form away.
Lucy: Wha-?
Gray: Ice make, Lance!
Multiple ice lances immediately shot at the demon injuring it.
Lullaby: Gahhh!!
Unfortunately for Natsu, he was hold onto one of the demons horns on its head and was starting to get a little motion sick.
The lances were so destructive that they ended up blowing off the entire left side of the demon.
Lucy: I've never seen that kind of destructive power before!!
Gray: Now!
At the same time both Erza and Marcus rushed the demon again. Erza with a new set of armor and Marcus with black flames.
Council Member: The black winged armor!! Magic armor that can tremendously amplify a single attack!!
Lucy: Those black flames Marcus is using, what's so special about them?
Happy: Well, he calls them the Amaterasu. Apparently whatever he hits even other flames, his flames will continue to burn until there is absolutely nothing but ash left.
Lucy: What if he hits a person with that!?
Makarov: Well if it was on purpose then we don't need to worry. However, if it was collateral damage or an accident then that's where his white flames come into play.
Lucy: Huh?
Makarov's thoughts: I see. So he hasn't even told his own cousin what those flames of his can do. That's just like him.
Makarov: Are there any other questions you have about Marcus, child? Granted now might not be the best time given the situation but, as soon as we return to the guild I will answer all that I can about your dear cousin.
Lucy: I have a lot but, one has been bugging me for a while now.
Makarov: Go ahead. What's on your mind.
Lucy: When I saw him get mad because I was almost killed or when he mentioned my family name, his eyes changed color from black to red and some symbols appeared as well. What happened to him? Is he okay?
Makarov: T-
Council Member: Nooo!!! Our meeting place...
Council Member: It's reduced to rubble!!!
Natsu: *Laughing* aren't you impressed with how it's completely destroyed!?
Council Mamber: Arrest them!!
The fairy tail crew then started to run away with Natsu trying to arrest them
Natsu: Fine! Just leave that to me!!
Council Member: You're one of the people who needs to be arrested!!
Erza: Master, please forgive us. We made you loose face.
Makarov: Don't worry about it. They'll never invite me to another meeting again anyway!
Land of void...
Irene: Rachel, I'm back.
Rachel: Good what did you find out.
Irene: Well from what I saw, nothing major has happed with Tifa except that she's met some boy by the name of Cloud Strife.
Rachel: Yes. The Strife family. I know them well. Tifa and Cloud are practically childhood friends. Must be reuniting for the first time in a while.
Irene: Seems like it.
Rachel: What of Marcus?
Irene: When I was in the background I saw his friend almost get killed and when he stopped the knife from piercing her heart his eyes changed colors, and had symbols appear in them.
Rachel: How many?
Irene: I'm sorry?
Rachel: How many symbols did you see in his eyes?
Irene: I didn't get a good look but I'd say two a best.
Rachel: What you saw was him activating his Sharingan. I have it, he has it, and his sister has it.
Irene: His father doesn't have it?
Rachel: Have you not noticed that myself, Tifa and Marcus all have the same last name while he does not?
Irene: Not until just now. Why is that?
Rachel: Because he married into the family. It's as simple as that.
Irene: I see. I'm sorry to hear that.
Rachel: Don't be. I never considered him family in the first place, never loved him and neither did my children. The same can be said for him he never considered us family and never loved us.
Irene: So how does one activate this Sharingan?
Rachel: When a wielder of a Sharingan experiences a powerful emotional connection with a person precious to them, their brain releases a special form of magic that affects the optic nerves, transforming the eyes into the Sharingan; for this reason this is why the Sharingan is often referred to as "the eye that reflects the heart"
Rachel: However because there is so much hate in this world, this emotional connection with someone precious is most often brought on by stress or loss. However, the emotion can be positive, driven by a desire to protect or reunite with a loved one.
Rachel: Unfortunately nine times out of ten the emotion is a negative and not a positive one.
Irene: There's just way too much death and hate in this world.
Rachel: I agree.
Irene: The question is what can we do to bring our world to peace?
Rachel: Trust in our children. It may not be our favorite answer but it's the only answer we have... for the time being that is.
Irene: Do you plan on getting involved in the fighting?
Rachel: Don't you?
Irene: Once I reunite with my daughter, then I'll have something worth fighting for again. So the answer to your question is yes, I do plan on getting involved in the fighting.
Rachel: You know I've had a question for you that I've been dying to ask you.
Irene: What is it?
Rachel: If you would have known what would have happened to Rosemary Village would you have still left Erza there?
Irene: Is that a real question!? Sorry. Absolutely not. If I knew ahead of time that the village would be destroyed I would have kept her with me and raised her and never given her away.
Rachel: Then why did you give her away? She was and still is your child?
Irene: I was scared. I didn't think I was ready to be a mother at the time. Trust me, now I regret my decision. I regret marrying that man however I'm ever grateful that I was able to bring new life into this hateful world.
Rachel: Glad to hear it.

Two days later
Inside Lucy's house...
Lucy's thoughts: Eisenwald's attempted terrorist on a meeting of Guild Masters, made the national news. I still can't believe that I could have been in the middle of such a big event. But even so, life goes on. At times though, I wonder back to those events and my heart starts to race. All of the Eisenwald guild was arrested except for Erigor and that scares me. But I know that if he ever came back for revenge all of fairy tail would be waiting for him!
Lucy's thoughts: This guild is the best! So mama please don't worry about me. Oh, I also meet my cousin to! So I'll be just fine. P.S. please keep this all a secret from papa. Okay?
Lucy then finished writing her letter, put it in the envelope, and sealed it inside.
Gray: For this place, rent of 70,000 is cheap! You found yourself a good place Lucy!
Lucy: Intruder alert!! And don't go stripping in other people's houses!!
Gray: Hold on a second! You got it backwards. I stripped before I got here!
Lucy: Go home!
Gray: It's going to happen. I thought you might have forgotten. So I came to remind you.
Lucy: It?
Gray: See? You did forget! Natsu is fighting against Erza and Marcus.
Within what looked like seconds Lucy appeared at the fight excited to see the outcome of the match.
Lucy: W-wait a second!!! Is this the real thing!?
MiraJane: Hey, Lucy.
ElfMan: Serious!? Of course they're serious!! Anyone who isn't serious about this is no man!!
MiraJane: Erza is a woman you know?
Max: No, she's the literal female devil.
Lucy: But if three members of the most powerful team face off against each other...
Gray: Most powerful team? What's that all about?
Lucy: You, Natsu, Erza, and Marcus of course! You're Fairy Tail's most strongest top four aren't you?
Gray: Huh? That's stupid. What idiot told you that load of garbage?
Suddenly MiraJane burst into tears proving that she was the one that told Lucy.
Gray: Wait Mira!? You're not an idiot!!
Lucy: Now you made her cry!
ElfMan: I'd go along with you if you said that Natsu, Gray, and Marcus were pretty manly, but I can't listen to you say most powerful and stay silent. There are a lot of extremely powerful fighters in fairy tail. I'm one of them.
Levy: However there's no real doubt that Erza's the most powerful woman in all of fairy tail.
Marcus: Sorry levy, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one.
Hearing Marcus' voice Levy immediately started to stutter and blush a light shade of pink which didn't go unnoticed by Mira and Lucy
Levy: M-Marcus what are you doing over here!? You're supposed to be over there with Natsu and Erza!

Lucy and Mira's thoughts: ~someone's got a crush~
Levy: S-So who do you think is stronger than Erza?
Marcus: Mira.

Erza's thoughts: He's absolutely right
Erza: How many years has it been since we fought in a 2 v 1?
Natsu: Back then we were just kids and you didn't have those "freaky eyes" Marcus! Now it's different this time I'm going to win!
Marcus: I'd never use my "freaky eyes" against a friend. Best that you keep that in mind.
Erza: What does he mean by saying that you have freaky eyes?
Marcus: He's referring to my Sharingan.
Erza: Oh ok.
Marcus: Keep in mind Erza after I help you best Natsu, it's you vs me.
Erza: Yes I remember.
Marcus: Good. I don't want him to injure you to badly. That's my job.
Lucy's thoughts: Scary! How is Levy attracted to that!? Well granted she has known him since they were kids.
Erza: This will not be a game for me either! After many years I get to test my power against my own comrades! Attack me with everything you've got! Attack as if you intended to kill me!
Natsu: With pleasure!!
Guild Member: It's the fire empress armor!! It's armor that protects against fire magic!!
Guild Member: That would cut Natsu's magic by at least half!!
Guild Member: Erza is making this a serious fight!
Happy: Do you mind if I place my bets on Erza instead?
Lucy: I've never seen a more disloyal cat!!
Makarov: Begin!
Lucy: Sooo umm why isn't Marcus attacking?
Levy: He's waiting for Erza to wear Natsu out. That's when he'll strike.
Lucy: You seem to know a lot more about my own cousin than I do huh?
Levy: H-he's your cousin!?
Lucy: Yeah.
Levy: Well I mean we did join the guild around the same time. I joined a couple months before him though.
Lucy: Did he join before or after Natsu?
Levy: After.
Lucy: Sooo? When did you fist develop a crush on him? Hmm~
Levy: W-w-what are y-you talking about?! I don't have a crush on him!?
Lucy: Uh huh. Sure. And I'm wearing a wig right now and I'm secretly flat.
Levy: Hey that's mean. I feel targeted.
Lucy: Sorry. All I'm saying is that it's extremely obvious that you have a crush on him. It's so obvious in fact I'm surprised that he hasn't noticed yet.
Levy: I don't think he really cares all that much about romance right now. It's not that he is dense, because he's not. I just feel like he's more focused on finding answers to his past, his power, finding out if his parents are still alive. Stuff like that.
Lucy: Well I've got an idea. How about you help him on his quest to do all of those things that you just mentioned. Spend more quality time with him, get to know him better and maybe he'll start to open up to you. Though I'm not one to talk I've never had a romantic relationship before.
Levy: Even though you've never had a romantic relationship before that was surprisingly good advice.
As the fighting was ongoing the flame was getting everywhere almost lighting some members on fire.
Guild Member: Ow, ow, ow!!!
Guild Member: Natsu you ass!!!
Lucy: This is such an intense match and Marcus hasn't even started fighting once.
Happy: Natsu just has way to much stamina so he'll be waiting for a while.
Suddenly two claps were heard by someone in the audience stopping the match.
Council Envoy: That is quite enough. This match is over. To everyone here, do not move. I am an envoy from the council!
Levy: The council!?
Jet: A messenger!?
Droy: Why would he be here!?
Lucy: Don't his looks even register on you guys at all!?
Council Envoy: During the event of the Eisenwald terror incident, as a suspect in eleven counts of property damage I have come to arrest Marcus Stellar!!
Erza and Lucy: Huh?
Natsu: What did you say!?
