The Phantom steeled his nerves as the convoy rode up to the designated area. He knew what he was doing, he just needed to do it, he reminded himself. Nevertheless, they reach the back of the compound known as S.I.F., and the special ops prepared to attack. They had discussed the plan hours before, use a stolen EMP to disable the electronics, then use the blackout to breach the roof and take out the guards, free the prisoners, and get out. Simple plan, but hard to execute. He thought that this would be a turning point, but he felt something was off. He felt that almost he was doing something wrong, he went through his head, and nothing came to mind. He pushed it aside as they got closer to the prison, and he went through the checks that the foundation did with its special forces. Extra mags, bullets chambered, safety off, the routine double checks. He always felt that this was the tensest moment in the operation, right before, going through stuff they learned in basic. Once it was done, they used thermite to breach a vent, leading directly into a maintenance room. The Phantom jumped down first, using his mask to see in the dark. The room was clear, time for the real thing. He knew that the rest of the Skylanders were on the sides of the building taking out the machine gunners and cutting communications. He was confident that they would do this, just not confident in himself. He motions, 1…2…3, then swings the door open to meet an open view of the cell block, he moves to the side of the wall, the soldiers following him. The prisoners jump out of bed at the sight of possible rescue, the Phantom motions for them to stay silent, but it is too late. One of the cheers, muffled quickly but still heard, unbeknownst to the Phantom, the guards could hear this, and soon several came into the room. The Phantom orders the soldiers to attack, and the guards are cut down, but the unsuppressed gunshots alert the other guards, and soon all hell breaks loose. Before he knows it, he is pinned behind rubble, caused by the panicked Skylanders on the roof breaching too soon, and with too many explosives. Gunfire from hostile forces ahead reads his mask. He summons a Galil to replace the .45 he was going to use, and he looks up above the rubble and cuts down two panicked guards, armed with shotguns. He then rolls over to another piece of cover and shreds another guard on the walkway next to the cells. One of the prisoners catches the keycard and opens his cell, and begins to periodically do that whenever the opposing gunfire lets up. The Skylanders join in, taking out a group of guards by the main entrance to the cell block. Then Eruptor throws up lava, rendering an emergency exit to the yard unavailable to be used as a breaching point for the enemy. The Phantom orders a group of soldiers to get the prisoners out and tend to the wounded and dead. They follow orders, taking a few of the wounded soldiers and taking them to the convoy outside, accessed by a hole in the wall breached by Jet-Vac. Once the fighting dies down, most of the guards are dead, the others ran in terror. The Phantom orders to activate lockdown around the perimeter to prevent anyone from leaving that they didn't want to leave. The Phantom then runs into an office, looking for anything useful, and he finds it. A paper, detailing that Strykore was expecting "order 556" to take effect in the prison, including the permanent solitary confinement prisoners. Shocked that there are prisoners that he hasn't seen yet, he orders a group of soldiers to come with him to a room labeled, "Cell Block D" He shoots a control panel, opening all the doors in the small corridor. He and the soldiers check all of them and they see nothing, but they get to the end of the row, and see a weakened Kassandra leaning on a wall, her hand blocking the glaring light, the Phantom catches her, then orders a stretcher be prepared. He helps her to the stretcher, where two medics carry her off of the battlefield and into a medical convoy.

Meanwhile, Spyro sits in a room, an unwelcome feeling takes over him. He keeps thinking to himself, he did not have a choice, it was going to happen regardless, even if he didn't sign it. He shrugs back tears, his pure form taking over for a brief second, he knows deep down, what he truly did.
