The Phantom begins to debrief the soldiers on the attack, saying that they did well, with little to no casualties. "However, we must strive to be greater in the future, while 200 injured or dead is not bad, it can still be better. Thank you, we will debunk the information found in the raid, along with questioning the prisoners we rescued.". He steps down from the podium and allows Jet-Vac to take the stand, he has another destination to go to. He walks into the infirmary. Once he arrives, he sees Stealth Elf speaking with Kassandra, who is laying in a medical bed. The Phantom walks over to the medic who is reviewing some papers. He asks, "What is her condition?". The medic tells him she is stable, and will be ready to go in a few weeks.". The Phantom, annoyed at the long wait time, accepts that he will have to ask her the questions here. Once Stealth Elf finishes visiting, she turns around, frowns at the sight of the Phantom, but leaves. The Phantom takes a seat at Kassandra's side, she does not seem intimidated but does not seem comfortable. She says, "So you must be the Phantom, I was wanting to talk to you.". The Phantom nodded as he sat down. Kassanra says, "I understand you have been leading the Resistance in accordance with Jet-Vac, I thank you for that. However, I understand that we do not have familiarity, I know that your name is Phantom, where do you come from." The Phantom's heart sinks with those words, he responds, "I don't know, I have never known.". Kassandra appears surprised, then says, "Oh, well how did you get familiar with the Resistance." The Phantom replies bluntly, "Well, I rescued Cynder from her father, she called the Resistance and then they captured me, I broke out and shot two of them in the knee. Then I got shot in the leg, and escaped. Then got captured by Spyro, executed, and saved from my uncontrolled form. Then the only person besides Malfor who knows the complete truth was killed and died in my arms. So that's about the summary.". Kassasndra, obviously startled, fumbles to find the words, the Phantom waves his hand in the air, "Don't bother, I have already dealt with it. What I would like to know is what you saw while imprisoned there." Kassandra says, "Well, I spent 16 hours a day in solitary, I was not allowed out unless it was for meals or exercise. And the only bit of evidence is that I heard something about an "order 556" during my time there.". The Phantom, confirming what he thought was true, thanks her for her time and wishes her a good recovery. Then he gets up and walks into his room. The Phantom was again troubled by what may lie ahead. He opened a fridge, hidden behind a bookcase and got out for a drink. As the Phantom prepares to stop himself from thinking about the future by stopping himself from thinking, someone else was anxious about what may lie further down the road.
Cynder was sitting alone, going over why she rescued the Phantom in the first place. She knows deep down that he is the beast that terrorized her in her younger years, but he could not control it, right? She saw that he could remember it, she had seen pained souls before, but not to this degree. She knew he wanted something, but she could not find out what. She had planned to talk to him but was convinced not to by Stealth Elf. She said he was too dangerous, it was going to break out again she wouldn't want it to be with her. Even though he was wearing a mask, she could see the pain in his eyes, the pain that she had seen before, in her father's eyes.
