Evunial Vas Elvhenan:

Has short silver and blue hair, With heterochromic eyes. His left is gold like his brother's and the other like Shining Sapphire. He is wearing shimmering white and gold armor. His chest piece is not covered by his white hooded fur overcoat.

Izunia

This dark elf has short dark gray hair and red eyes. She is clad in her form-fitting hooded blue and white rogue armor set with gold accents complete with gauntlets, grieves, and a gold embroidered white cape with the fur of a white lion on its collar and shoulder.

Araina:

A beautiful and busty elf with gold hair. She has heterochromic eyes. one green and the other red. A former slave saved by Evunial now resides in the mountain fortress.

Novem Hougan

A pale male elf with long blond hair reaching down past his lower back with one red eye and one green eye. His face was a picture of beauty, calm and serene. He wears tight-fitting white and gold battle mage robes with gold-plated gauntlets and greaves. A white cape draped over his shoulders.

Maeral Hougan

A pale male Elf with short white hair. One red eye and one black eye. His features are splattered with blood but held an unnerving beauty of their own. He is wearing black pants with a black and gold hooded overcoat covering a chest plate, handless gauntlets, and greaves.

Ice erupted up from the ground as sheets of ice covered the ground. Izunia scrambled to her father grabbing him from behind as he fell back into her arms barely conscious. Imara ran up behind them preparing to defend against Maeral's next attack but was surprised to find that Maeral had turned his attention in the direction of the roar with a look of utter shock on his face

"There's no way...a primal summon?! That's just like Father's... But how?"

Was all the dread prince could say before a giant fist of ice smashed into him as Araina yelled out.

"Get away from them!!!"

With a burst of ice, Maeral went flying across the cavern and slammed into its western wall.

Izunia and Imara looked up in awe at the giant frost creature. It was covered in thick white fur with giant arms that ended in great clawed hands almost too big for its body. It had an elongated beat-like face with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. It stood towering over them its glowing blue eyes watching the spot it had just sent Maeral with razor focus.

Araina then ran up to the group and spoke.

"Good job Ymir!"

Izunia then spoke as the image of the little frost creature Araina had summoned before popped into her head.

"Ymir?! This is Ymir? But how?"

Araina then replied her breathing now heavy and strained.

"It doesn't matter... Just get your family out of here... I'll deal with mine..."

Izunia then retorted.

"No! I will not leave you! We can get out together..."

Just then the rubble where Maeral had landed erupted from the ground as the dread prince charged toward the girls.

"Not bad Araina. I guess you really are a Hougan but it will take more than that!"

Maeral yelled raising his daggers high as Ymir intercepted him.

The giant ice creature swung its massive fists down on Maeral with great speed and force as Mareal expertly deflected the blows.

Araina then spoke with urgency.

"Izunia! You have to leave now. Ymir can't hold him off for long and once Novem breaks my ice prison..."

As the two elven girls spoke, Imara managed to get Ahvas to his feet.

"Girls! We have to go now!"

Imara yelled as the ice covering Novem began to crack.

Izunia took a step back toward her mother as her eyes pleaded with Araina to come with her.

Araina then smiled weakly as she spoke softly.

"It's ok... I choose this...and please...tell Evunial it was a beautiful dream..."

"Izunia!! Now!!"

Imara roared as she and Ahvas moved toward the back of the cave.

Izunia took another step back before turning and forcing herself to run after her family as she held back tears.

Araina's weak smile strengthened as she watched her friend escape before turning to face her brother.

But as she did she heard a snap as the ice holding Novem shattered, with the crack of thunder.

LIGHTNING SPEAR!!

Novem yelled as A bolt of lightning ripped through the air before striking Ymir in the back causing the beast to roar in pain as its body locked up for a moment.

Maeral then quickly jumped back a few feet and pulled out his bow, a smirk spreading across his face.

Araina yelled out.

"Ymir! Harden!"

The ice beast then shook off the lightning attack and brought its giant hands up in a blocking motion as they were reinforced in thick sheets of ice.

Maeral's smirk then morphed into a wicked smile as he turned his bow's sights on Araina.

Novem then yelled out.

"Wait... Maeral! What are you doing!!"

"It's time our sister learned there are consequences..."

Maeral said before he loosed his arrow.

Time seemed to slow for Araina as she closed her eyes and prepared for impact. But the sound of the arrow simply flew past her, her hair blowing in its wake. Followed shortly by a blood-curdling scream

"Nooooo!"

Araina's eyes shot open as she turned to find Imara and Izunia holding Ahvas, a hole threw the dark elf warrior's chest.

"Father no! Please! Get up!"

Izunia screamed through tears.

Novem then appeared in front of Maeral.

"What was that!? Do you have any idea what Father would do if she was harmed?!"

Maeral then sighed as he put his bow away again.

"Calm down... She was never in any danger... Just ensuring my prize didn't get away... I find they are easier to catch when they are grieving...."

Novem then raised an eyebrow at the explanation before taking a breath. The duo then turned their attention to Araina who watched in horror as Izunia and her Mother cried over Ahvas's body.

Ymir stood tall between the brothers and their sister as chunks of ice fell from its mighty form.

Novem then spoke.

"It's over Araina... Though I would never have imagined you inherited this much of your father's power. It seems you've inherited his weakness as well..."

Araina did not react to Novem's words as she continued to stare at her friend's grief a look of horror still on her face.

Novem shifted his weight slightly as he grew annoyed and continued.

"Your summon is falling apart. It takes too much mana to maintain. Release it before it kills you..."

Araina then woke from her trance as the look of shock turned to a look of determination.

"Kill me?..."

Novem then replied.

"Yes, now release it, and let's go home... With power like this, Father will welcome you with open arms... he will probably be too proud to even touch you... We can be a family again..."

Araina then slowly turned around and looked at the frozen ground around her and then at her brothers.

"No..."

"No?.."

Novem questioned.

Maeral then chimed in as he readied another arrow and aimed it at Ymir.

"Enough of this, let's just kill the thing and take her."

Araina then spoke, unfazed. Her features were cold and emotionless.

"You know what my first vision was?.. The first death I saw?... It was my own. I saw myself alone surrounded by ice, colder than I had ever been. And at the very end, embraced by warmth like nothing I could imagine."

Novem then raised his hand and held it in front of Maeral's arrow as Araina went on tears of anger welling up in her eyes.

"For so long I feared the end but now... I embrace it, for I would rather die a thousand times over than remain kin... to monsters!!!..."

Araina yelled as Ymir roared and rushed the princes.

"Dammit, Araina!!! Don't be a fool!!"

Novem yelled as he moved his hand and Mearal took aim at Ymir once again.

The two princes then yelled out.

SUN PERICER

FIRE BALL

The two attacks crashed into the ice beast shattering its right arm as it yelled out in pain.

Araina fell to her knees and screamed.

"We are not done yet Ymir!! Take it all!!!!!!"

Ymir's arm grew back as the beast stood up and launched itself into the air raising its hand into the air and raining down razor-sharp ice spikes onto Novem and Maeral before bringing its giant hands together and creating a giant chunk of ice which then came crashing down on the duo.

But before it even hit the ground Maeral's voice rang out.

TRUE SPLINTER SHOT

Just then Hundreds of white pieces of light ripped thru the giant block of ice and into Ymir as the beast raised his hand in defense against the onslaught.

As the battle raged Izunia looked up from her father, her face stained with tears and her eyes filled with rage.

Izunia stood and took a step toward the battle but as she did, she felt her mother's hand take hold of her wrist.

"Izunia, No! Ahvas would not want this... We must get to the Mother's nest while we can! They will not be able to follow.

Izunia turned to face her mother, tears streaming from her eyes.

"I will not stand by while my friends die, mom, Not again..."

Imara then looked confused as she tried to reply.

"What are you?..."

Izunia then cut her off.

"In my letters... I told you what happen on the mountain... Intune, Maeri, and Isara died meaningless deaths... Just because you told the elders something different... That they died heroes?... Does not make it so... I watched them die... And now..."

Izunia's eyes then fell on her fallen father.

"No more..."

Izunia then pulled away from Imara and continued her march toward the battle as she reached behind her back and pulled out a gold and silver dagger of Lokelonde.

Tears fell upon Ahvas's face as Imara reached out toward her daughter before looking down at her husband as she wept.

"Oh, Mother of my people... Guide my love's journey. We are spirit. Our death is the end. Our...grave...is..."

Her voice broke as the pain became to much. She then heard the sound of something large approaching as a large shadow was cast from behind her.

More and more ice fell from Ymir's form as he tried in vain to withstand a storm of arrows. Novem then raised his hand promoting Maeral to cease fire and once the dust and ice-covered dirt settled, all that was left of the ice beast was a small and sad-looking creature barely holding on to life.

It stood up on cracked legs in defense against the brothers.

Maeral then chuckled as he aimed at the creature.

"Haha, let's put you out of your misery."

Novem then spoke.

"No, It's taken too much of her mana already if we destroy it could kill her... She needs to release the spell herself."

Maeral then lowered his bow as he spoke

"So that was her plan huh? You are just full of surprises aren't you Araina..."

Maeral then took a few steps toward the beast.

"But we can't have you dying... Especially now that you have a Primal summon of all things. Father will be speechless."

Maeral then quickly dodged a flurry of strikes from Izunia with ease before faining surprise.

"Oh, Kitten there you are! I knew you couldn't get enough of me..."

Araina was barely holding onto consciousness as her eyes fell on Izunia.

"Izunia? Izunia I'm so... Sorry... Because of me... Your father..."

Izunia took a breath before she replied.

"...It's not your fault Araina... We will get out of this... And Lord Evunial will have noticed we have not returned by now...He will come for us...I know it..."

Maeral raised an eyebrow.

"Evunial? Hmm, where have I heard that name before?"

Novem then spoke.

"It's the name of the self-proclaimed "Elven Lord" in these mountains that, that Human slaver was screaming about..."

Maeral then spoke with a look of realization.

"Oh yeah... While I was having fun with his daughters... How could I forget?..."

Izunia's face filled with disgust but she stood firm as Maeral went on.

"Elven Lord or not, if he was any kind of threat we would already know... So even if he were to come, he'd fall like all the others..."

Izunia couldn't help but chuckle at Maeral's words.

"Haha, You? Defeat Evunial? Don't make me laugh. Cowards like you wouldn't stand a chance.

You would be nothing more than wolves facing down a Lion."

Maeral's calm demeanor seemed to crack a bit as his right eye twitched

The next moment, faster than she could blink Maeral grabbed Izunia by the throat

"See, I knew breaking you was gonna be fun.."

Novem then protested.

"We don't have time for this... Maeral... Finish this or I will..."

Maeral then sighed as looked back at Novem for a moment

"Fine... I can wait till we get back home..."

Maeral then turned to face Izunia again as he spoke.

"We can finish this later Kitt..."

But before he could finish Izunia brought her dagger up with all her strength the blade engulfed in blue energy.

Martial Art: Front Cut!!

Maeral threw Izunia back as her blade reached his face.

Izunia fell to the ground next to Araina as Maeral covered took a few steps covering his face as he took heavy muffled breaths.

Izunia quickly got back up to her feet and prepared for a follow-up attack but stopped as a cold chill went down her spine as Maeral's heavy breathing turned into wild unhinged laughter.

"Haha hahaha! Magnificent!"

Maeral roared as he threw his hands down revealing a fresh cut down the right side of his face, his right eye forced shut by the damage.

"I can't remember the last time I felt pain! What a treasure you are!"

Novem raised an eyebrow surprised at his brother's wound as his eyes fell on Izunia's dagger with slight interest.

Izunia was taken aback by Maeral's disregard for his injury but raised her dagger as she stepped in front of Araina once again, with defiance-filled eyes.

Mareal looked at her with a strange calm in his left eye.

"You know, This little back and forth has been the most fun I've had in a long time... But all good things come to an end... It's time you learned your place..."

The elven prince then brought his hands together and up to his lower chest slowly and removed a small black ring from his right ring finger.

Izunia then fell to her knees as she felt the full force of Maeral's killing intent, enveloping her in fear and cold.

Maeral then smiled as his wound healed and he opened his right eye before holding the ring out in front of him.

"Confused? It's really simple actually... I find that prey is no fun if it doesn't fight back... So I use this to hide my true power... To give a false sense of hope..."

Maeral then put the ring in his pocket as he continued.

"Though I was not expecting to take it off here of all places. You are truly impressive..."

Maeral's eyes then wandered up and down Izunia's form as he began walking toward her licking his lips.

"It is a shame to break such a strong spirit... But eh, I will get over it..."

Time seemed to slow down for Izunia as she looked up and saw Maeral's approach.

Maeral then spoke as he looked the girl in the eyes.

"See, now you understand. No matter how much you want it... You will never be more than a thing... Nothing more than... Mine..."

Izunia's eyes then looked down at her dagger and widened as Maeral's words echoed through her mind. But then she thought of another voice. A stronger voice, one she had spent weeks listening to, learning from. The voice of a man who would laugh at her sorry state.

Izunia then reached down and grabbed her dagger engulfing it in roaring blue energy. She then stood up on weak legs before repeating the mantra she had heard so many times.

"Rod plur rodyn oes ú- tul- o a anír-, ha plur o a baur!!"

(Power does not come from a want, it comes from a need!)

Mearal stopped in his tracks as a look of utter disbelief spread across his and Novem's faces.

"Impossible!... How?!"

Mearal's expression then contorted from disbelief to anger.

"Manen ceri- cin ped- in i lammen -o hirs!?"

(How do you speak in the Tongue of Lords!?)

Just then a shadow appeared around Maeral and rapidly grew in size.

"Get away from my daughter!!!!!"

Imara's voice rang out as Maeral noticed the shadow and jumped backward dodging a giant object, crashing into the ground and kicking up dirt and debris.

Izunia was shaken from her rage before looking up at the source of the impact, her eyes widening at the sight.

Outside the dust cloud, Maeral spoke.

"Did you hear her?..."

"Yes..."

Novem said as he walked up next to Maeral.

"She speaks in father's tongue...

Maeral then turned to his brother and spoke.

"How?... How is that possible!? Father said only elves from our true homeland could speak it..this...thin blood can't be..."

Novem then spoke up.

"She's not... There must be another explanation... But in any event, Father will want to meet her..."

Maeral then raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, now you're interested..."

Novem then replied.

"Yes, but Araina is still our top priority... So do me a favor and stand still..."

Maeral then spoke confused.

"Stand still? How does that help anyth..."

Just then a flurry of projectiles erupted from the dust cloud.

Mearal attempted to block but instead of deflecting the blows they stuck to his daggers and then to him, covering him up to his neck in thick spider webs.

"Dammit! What the hell is this?..."

Maeral yelled as he struggled with the binds.

"Don't worry this will work in our favor... Now just sit there for a moment will you..."

Novem said as webs fell off an invisible barrier in front of him.

The dust in front of them then faded away revealing a massive white and red spider standing before the brothers with Imara on its back.

The creature looked formidable. Its body was covered in a thick and jagged armor-like exoskeleton with its four front legs ending with razor-sharp blades. Eight red eyes adorn its head with a gold crest above them resembling a crown.

Imara slid down the great beast's back and grabbed Izunia.

"Izunia! Can you walk? We need to go now!"

Izunia looked at her mother and spoke.

"Yes... I think so..."

Imara then spoke.

"Thank goodness, help me with Araina..."

Izunia then nodded as she stood up and walked over to Araina. As she did she saw the sorry state Ymir was in barely able to hold its form.

Izunia then placed a hand on the Elven princess's shoulder.

Araina then spoke, her voice, raspy from exhaustion.

"No, leave me... Get out of here..."

Izunia then replied softly.

Araina... You are running out of mana... you have to release Ymir..."

Araina then shook her head weakly.

"No... I have to die...or they will keep coming..."

Izunia then replied.

"No, Araina... It's over... The Mother is here we are safe."

Araina struggled to look up and across the cave to her brothers seeing Mearal wrapped in a spider web and then her eyes fell on the giant spider, whose statue had filled her with fear, but now all she felt was hope.

Ymir then sat down and faded away.

Izunia and Imara sighed in relief as Araina's breathing settled and she passed out into Imara's arms.

Izunia then looked up and across the battlefield at the brothers that brought so much pain.

"It's over right?"

The sound of running footsteps then rang out from behind them.

Izunia then turned to find a short-haired dark elf leading a group of warriors and spiders toward them.

"Ezern?"

Izunia questioned as the Elder Elf reached them.

Ezern then spoke

"Securing an escape route for the young and elders took longer than expected... I am sorry about Ahvas...his loss will pain us for generations..."

Izunia looked down pained to even think about what had happened.

Ezern then continued.

"And I am sorry for things I said to you... I saw you fighting... for us... I was wrong..."

Izunia then began to reply as the sound of slow clapping echoed through the cave and Novem's voice rang out.

"Well done!"

Novem said as he finished clapping.

"I was scratching my head on how to get her to release that dammed summon... But as in all things, patients was key..."

Ezern then stepped forward and spoke as he gestured to Maeral.

"You still wish to fight? The Mother's webs are as strong as Adamantite and only her venom can dissolve them...that one will be a sitting duck if you don't surrender... It's over..."

Novem then looked to think for a moment before replying.

"Adamantite you say? Hmm, Maeral..."

Mearal then ripped out of the webs with ease tearing chunks of it off his clothes.

The dark elves were taken aback by the terrifying show of strength.

"How?... The Mother's webs can't be broken by mortals..."

Ezern said in disbelief.

Maeral looked on at the confused group and spoke as he removed the last bits of webs.

"Ah, so this is "The Mother" I heard one of your hunters praying to her... Does that make her a god?... So when I kill it, will that make me your god?"

Ezern and the warriors took a step forward angered by the threats.

The Mother then placed one of its legs in front of the men stopping their advance.

The great spider then turned its head to the warriors knowingly.

Imara looked at the great spider and spoke.

"She wants us to run..."

Ezern then protested.

"Run? No! I will not abandon her! If we fight together then surely..."

The Mother then turned their head back to the brothers.

Ezern looked around as his mind raced for a solution before his eyes fell on the sleeping Araina.

"They are here for her, aren't they? Let's just give them what they want..."

"It won't matter what we give them, they will just..."

Izunia began as the Mother slammed its bladed leg into the ground.

Ezern then looked down in defeat before speaking.

"Fine... If that is your wish..."

The warriors then picked up Araina and the group of dark elves started headed toward the back of the cave.

Maeral then spoke up.

"Really?.. Do you think you can just leave? You thin bloods just never learn.."

"Wait..."

Novem said as he watched the giant spider before them.

"Somethings off...This one is different from the others we faced..."

Maeral then turned to his brother and spoke.

"So? It's a little bigger than the others... It's still just a spider..."

Just then the giant spider rushed the brothers at incredible speed kicking up dirt and dust.

The spider's bladed legs then slashed down onto the two elven brothers.

As the sound of the blades hitting a solid surface rang out, Maeral looked at the strange beast through the invisible surface in front of him.

Novem held out his hand as he maintained the barrier.

Maeral then smiled sheepishly.

"Seems it's a little faster than most spiders too..."

Novem then spoke visibly annoyed.

"Enough games Maeral... We kill this spider and then we are leaving with Araina and the thin blood. I have suffered your whims long enough..."

"Fine... Let's get this over with..."

Maeral said with a sigh as he brought up his daggers.

Novem then waved his hand prompting the barrier to disappear.

The great spider's attack then came down on Maeral's blades. Mareal then withstood the blow holding the beast up.

Novem then raised a hand as a magic circle appeared around him.

But before Novem could speak the spider used one of its free legs to kick a rock at his face.

Novem dodged the rock and jumped back as Mearal deflected two more blows before jumping back as well.

The Mother then quickly rushed Maeral pressing her attack as a guttural sound rang out from the giant spider. As if on cue all of the remaining spiders then swarmed Novem forcing him onto the defensive as he jumped back a few more times to create distance.

Maeral then smiled as he landed and rushed forward, meeting the spider's razor legs with his short swords. Sparks flew as the blades clashed in a flurry of lightning-fast strikes.

"Trying to separate us huh?"

Maeral deduced as he continued to counter the Mother blow for blow.

"Not a bad idea... Too bad it won't work."

Novem then landed a good distance away as the swarm of spiders closed in on him.

"Good, this should be out of range..."

The Hougan prince then jumped into the air.

Fly

Novem then gracefully floated through the air before raising his hand as a magic circle spread across the ground.

FIRESTORM

A heat wave roared through the cave as the sound of superheated air proceeded an eruption of fire and then silence. The screams of burning spiders then filled the void.

The cries of her children distracted her for a moment but a moment was all Maeral needed to lock his blades with the great spider's legs and divert them into the ground.

The Dread Prince then quickly jumped back once more and pulled his bow from around his back and pulled back on the string as an arrow of green mana formed upon the string.

DISRUPTER SHOT

Maeral then released the bolt of magic energy striking the floor beneath the beast. The Mother then sank as the ground around her turned to sand and she struggled to get free.

Maeral then pointed the bow upward and spoke as a golden arrow appeared between his fingers.

《STAR FALL》

The arrow shot up into the air above the great spider before golden arrows rained down. The Mother screeched in pain as the torrent of arrows continued.

More spiders poured out of the darkness and raced to the mother's aid attacking Maeral. As Maeral turned his attention to the swarm the Mother shot a web onto the ceiling pulling her giant form free and into the air.

The mother aimed and shot a volley of poison at Maeral as he fought off her children.

Maeral jumped back dodging the poison till he hit the wall of the cave stopping his movement and cornering him. The Mother then shot another web and pulled herself toward Novem at high speed as he was distracted.

Seeing this Maeral spoke out.

"Oh, no you don't."

The elven prince then lept into the air narrowly avoiding the hoard of spiders as he aimed his bow at the spider matriarch.

ZEPHYR STRIKE

Wind seemed to erupt from his bow as he let loose a bolt of compressed air.

The Mother then shot a web directly above her dodging the attack by a hair.

But as the great spider turned her attention back to Novem she found the elven mage right in front of her.

The Mother then quickly spit venom at Novem midair pressing her attack as her children rushed Maeral.

Novem chuckled to himself.

"Clever beast..."

Novem then gracefully dodged the mother's attack before raising his hand once again.

"But nothing more..."

《LIGHTNING SMITE》

The sound of thunder ripped through the cave with a deafening crack.

Izunia and the other dark elves were stunned by the sound and couldn't help but look back at the source their faces filling with shock and sorrow.

"No... It cannot be..."

Ezern said looking upon the carnage.

The Mother lay on her side, her carapace covered in burns as her children lay beside her dead.

Novem then landed in front of the creature as Mearal began to laugh hysterically.

"Hahahahaha, This?! This was your great "Mother" Hahaha."

Maeral then placed his foot on the Mother's body and leaned on it as he continued to laugh.

"Hahaha, it's no wonder you thin bloods were forced into caves by the humans. Hahaha, you're pathetic. Hahaha haha!"

Ezern's eyes filled with rage as he gripped his blade and yelled.

"For the Mother!!!!!!"

"Wait!"

"Don't!!"

Izunia and Imara said as the warriors laid Araina down and charged at the brothers.

Maeral then smiled as he took a step off the spider and vanished and reappeared behind the warriors his blades covered in blood.

Izunia and Imara watched in horror as one by one the warriors fell to the ground, blood spilling from their throats.

Ezern managed to turn and face the girls before succumbing to his wounds and falling to the blood-covered ground.

Izunia and Imara looked on in utter shock as Maeral turned to face Novem who appeared beside him and spoke.

"Finally... Now let's go I refuse to spend another moment among these... Animals..."

Maeral then looked at the elven girls before replying.

"What do we do with the extra?"

Novem then glanced at Imara and spoke as turned to walk away.

"Kill her... She is of no use to us..."

Izunia then quickly stepped in front of her mother with her blade held at the ready.

"No! You will not touch her! I will die before I let you take anyone else from me!"

Maeral then turned his head slightly.

"Still? After all this? You still think you have a choice?"

"Izunia... it's ok"

Imara said softly as she gently took hold of her daughter's hands.

"No, no, no Mom, it's not... You can't... I can't lose you too..."

Izunia said as tears poured down her face.

Just then Novem's superior hearing picked up a light explosion in the distance followed by a slight tremble in the ground.

Imara smiled kindly as she held back her tears.

"You are so strong, my love... And I am so proud of you...but you have to let go, you have to live..."

Imara then grabbed Izunia's dagger from her hand and lunged at Maeral as a wicked smile grew across the dread prince's face and he raised his

"Noooo!"

Izunia screamed as time seemed to slow around her as she saw a flash of pure white.

Just then a torrent of wind tore through the cave with devastating force.

Maeral and Novem jumped back away from Imara and Izunia as the wind seemed to surround and embrace the girls.

"What the hell is it now!? Do these thin bloods have a mage?!

Maeral yelled out as he held his arm to block the wind while the ground around them shook.

Novem then replied as he looked into the heart of the whirlwind.

"No... Somethings off... Whatever is in there... It's no thin blood..."

The wind and shaking then stopped abruptly. As the duo tried to regain their composure Maeral felt something cold fall on his arm but when he looked he found only a droplet of water.

"Snow?..."

Mearal said before looking up and being stunned by the sight

Novem then looked over at Maeral and questioned before looking up as well.

"What are you on about now? We have to stay..."

The two dread princes looked up unable to believe what they were seeing. The evening sky is in full view.

"Novem? Where'd the mountain go?"

Maeral then spoke.

"I...I don't..."

Another voice then rang out

"Lord Evunial...You came..."

Maeral and Novem then quickly looked over at Izunia and Imara who stood staring up at another elf. One draped in the cloak of a white lion.

"Who is that?... Is he the Elder blood she was talking about? But he is just a thin blood in fancy armor Novem, what can you see?"

Maeral said as unease filled him.

Novem then waved a hand and spoke.

《Discern Enemy》

Novem then replied.

"Hmm... Looks like his HP and mana are above average but nothing to ours though his mana is almost depleted... Did he use it to destroy the mountain?.."

Maeral then smirked.

"Doesn't matter... Looks like we were worried for no reason... Two-on-one and he shouldn't stand a chance. I was actually hoping for a bit of fun...shame..."

"Izunia... I'm sorry I'm late... Are you hurt?"

Evunial said as he looked down kindly at the girl.

Izunia then began to break down as relief washed over her.

"No... I'm ok, but they wanted to take me and Araina... And my dad wouldn't let them, and they... he is..."

"At'ish mala Da'len..."

(Calm now little one.)

Evunial replied as he gently wiped a tear from the young dark elf's cheek.

Evunial's eyes then fell on Araina's sleeping form.

"All this death will be undone I promise you... I'll deal with this ..."

Laughter then ran out from behind the Elven Commander.

"Deal with this? Haha, another Over confidant thin blood... Just like her father... "

Maeral said with a cruel smirk.

Evunial then turned toward the two men responsible for all the pain around him and as he did all the kindness, all the warmth faded from his face, an aura of death erupting from him.

A cold washed over Maeral and Novem the likes of which they had never felt before.

Evunial's golden eye glowed as he looked the men over.

"(Hmm... A caster and a ranger... Both look to be around level 60 to 64 health-wise...Deal with the mage first...and probably won't even need my katana..."

Evunial then took a step forward and vanished.

"What?! Where?!"

Maeral said, A look of shock covering he and his brother's faces. Novem's eyes darted around looking for any trace of the man before as if on pure instinct he raised his hand.

《BARRIER》

The next moment the invisible wall shattered as Evunial's fist smashed into Novem's face sending the elven prince soaring across the cave and into a wall, Rubble, and debris bursting into the air from the impact.

"NOVEM!!!"

Maeral yelled turning his body as fast as he could and raising his blades to attack as his senses finally caught up to Evunial's movement.

《GREATER ABILITY BOOST》

《VICIOUS TWIN BLADE GALE》

Maeral blades glowed blood red as he launched a barrage of lightning-fast strikes.

Evunial effortlessly dodged the attacks while moving forward instantly closing the distance before placing his right hand on Maeral's chest and clenching it into a fist.

AIR PRESSURE STRIKE

Blood splurted from Maerals mouth and the ground under Evunial's feet shattered as he pressed his fist into the Dread Prince's chest striking him with incomprehensible speed.

Maeral fell to his knees dumbstruck, his eyes wide with shock as blood dripped from his mouth.

Evunial then stood up straight and spoke, his voice and eyes filled with barely contained rage.

"Listen closely... You only still draw breath so you can better deliver a message to your worthless father..."

Maeral could barely respond, barely managing to look up at Evunial in acknowledgment.

"Hmm even the stun lock of my monk skills work here..)"

Evunial thought to himself before continuing.

"Araina is nor his or anyone's to claim... She is free as all elves soon will be. And if he or his ilk step foot in my Domain again, I will free his people from your family's wretched rule..."

More blood began to drip down Maeral's chin as the sound of strained chuckles echoed through the cave.

Evunial raises an eyebrow as he watched the snow-haired elf slowly stand up and burst out into laughter.

"Hahahahahaha, Oh this is great! I love this!! Finally! Someone worth killing!"

Maeral spoke with a crazed smile.

Evunial then calmly replied as his golden eye glowed.

"You are barely standing...You have four broken ribs and internal bleeding. This fight is over..."

Maeral then calmed his laughter to a chuckle.

"Haha, Over? Noo... We are just getting started..."

Maeral's wounds then began to heal themselves as his blood seeped back into his mouth and he stood up straight and unharmed.

The dread prince then began to laugh.

"You see? I am a god, when my talent to heal my own wounds awoke even my father couldn't find its limits... And oh did he try... And I am supposed to fear your threats?! I have God's Gift!"

"(Great... So he got a unique talent like Araina did but his is better suited to combat. Still...)"

Evunial then replied unimpressed.

"Well "God's Gift" is a neat trick, but you're still no match for me... So I will give you one last chance to surrender or It will just be your brother bringing my message to your father..."

Maeral then leaned forward with a crazed look in his eyes as his body began to tense up and his muscle bulged and pulsated unnaturally.

"This talent also lets me push myself beyond mortal means... Let me show you the true power of an Elder Blood! ..."

《Flow Acceleration》

《Pace of the gods》

《Gale Acceleration》

Maeral's body contorted as his muscles and bones ripped and broke and healed again.

Even his jaw shattered and healed as he forced out the words through clenched teeth.

"I should thank you... For getting Novem out of the way for a bit... Because when I'm done with you I will have all the time in the world to play with all these little thin bloods.."

Evunial then raised an eyebrow before glancing over to where he sent Novem into the wall. He then replied calmly.

"You sure like to hear yourself talk, don't you? Why don't we get this over with so I can get the girls home before dinner..."

Maeral's eyes filled with vicious glee.

"So be it"

《GREATER VICIOUS TWIN BLADE GALE》

The ground shattered as Maeral Vanished from sight.

Izunai watched with bated breath as the cave fell silent.

Evunial then smoothly stepped to the right and as a deep cut appeared on the ground to the left of him. He then stepped to the left as another cut appeared to the right of him.

Evunial then took a single step back and in the next instant an Explosion of strikes faster than Izunia could see rained down on Evunial creating a whirlwind.

The two elves glided backward across the ground at incredible speeds as Maeral's blades cut through the air inches from Evunial's face.

Boulders and debris were turned into dust as Maeral flew past them laughing hysterically.

"Is that blade on your hip just for show? Or are you so frozen by fear of my power you forgot you had it!? Hahahahaha"

Evunial looked calm as he stared into Maeral's manic eyes before chuckling to himself and speaking.

"You want to see my blade... Fine"

Evunial then placed his hand on his blade as his feet hit the ground and stopped moving.

He then unsheathed his blade and in a flash, his blade met the speed of Maeral's blades blocking every strike with the ease of breathing.

Sparks flew as the blades clashed with sound-breaking speed.

Evunial then took one step forward, the sparks stopped and blood splattered the ground.

Izunia and Imara gasped as they looked on in horror and awe. Maeral's arms fell off his body and to the ground blades still in his hands and Evunial's Katana at his throat.

"It's like I said before... healing or no, you don't stand a chance against me..."

Maeral then chuckled through clenched teeth.

"You know... You may be right... But I did manage to kill you..."

Evunial then turned his head slightly and replied.

"Really? How do you figure?..."

Maeral then gave twisted smile.

"I got you in range and to stand still..."

Izunia then noticed a magic circle appear at Evunial's feet.

"Evunial!!!!"

She screamed as a pillar of gold flame engulfed the Elven commander.
