A young man sets off on his adventure to become a great pirate and see the what the world has in store, when unfortunately he ends up running from marines shipwrecked on an unknown island but with a stroke of luck runs into the Straw hat pirates after meeting the crew he ask if he could accompany them for awhile.

27. Chapter 27

The Voyage of Sarukenshi Ch 27

*Hope you are all enjoying this latest adventure as it ramps up intensity now onto the Chapter.*

*Even if the weather seems a little gloomy as the moon rises the crew is enjoying a warm embrace of joy and camaraderie with a bonfire feast Sarukenshi then takes his mug and raises it high*

Sarukenshi: I propose a toast. To our new friends and good tidings for us all.

Luffy: And to a fun bonfire party! *Luffy stretches his arm around Sarukenshi and the rest cheer and clash mugs in unison with hearty smile and laugh*

Morgana: You all are very kind and lively, it is such a relief and change of pace from the usual pirates I've seen.

Volchya: I'll say, the Straw Hat Pirates are most certainly a lively and passionate sort.

Adam: I'd have to agree they really are especially peculiar.

Akina: And Sarukenshi fits that description as well, kind enough to bring us along on a whim and call us his friends despite not needing to do anything of the sort.

Adam: It's a very welcome joy to experience after the sort of start to life ones like us have receive.

Hitodenshi: Huh what's that supposed to mean Doc?

Fisresu: Yeah you make it seem like you've had a rough go of it. While the Navy can be a bit of a drag you never seemed to be miserable in the facility.

Akina: Oh no you misunderstand our days in Shiboroming were rather tame and eventful in their own way. However..*Akina clutches at her shoulders for a moment and looks down at her feet in solemnly* I apologize I..

Adam: No dear its ok you trust them as much as I do at this point and we've known Hito and the boys for awhile now so they should be able to understand our full history.

Franky: You guys seem like you've been through some serious trouble. If you rather not think back on it no need to tear yourselves up.

*Akina looks at Franky and lets a smile peer through*

Akina: Thank you Franky but it's fine I feel like knowing this will help accept that we are in a better place than back then.

Adam: You see before we became doctors, Akina and I were slaves of Celestial Dragons.

*A collective gasp and faces of shock are strewn about the bonfire*

Nami: No way I can only imagine how horrible that must have been.

Luffy: You mean those disgusting fish bowl guys from Sabaody?

Zolo: That's got bad news all over it.

Akina: Bad news is an understatement.

Hitodenshi: I.i can't believe it when did you get captured and why if you work with the Navy?

Adam: As I said this was before we were doctors, well at least in the professional sense for me. You see Akina and I are the son and daughter of slaves in Marejoise and so we would be worked to the bone from the moment we could walk to serve the Celestials. At first it was menial task like cleaning and playing with the Celestial Dragons children, well if by playing they meant random tantrums and beatings for not playing exactly how they wanted.

Akina: I was in charge of cleaning and maintain the décor of the homes as well as tending to the garden with my mother. That was the one place I got any form of solace and normalcy learning about the wonderful vibrant mysterious world of plants from my mother to escape the cruel reality that awaited to trounce us day in and day out.

Adam: My father was a physician for the Celestials for a good while in his homeland he was a renowned doctor able to diagnose a patient with nearly a hundred percent accuracy within a few minutes of examination. I learned as much as I could from him, which would unfortunately be very prudent to have done. In a few short months I learned all I needed to even take care of patients while my father was busy. One day though the Master's son came down with a serious illness unfortunately it was a chronic one that would come and go while not fatal it wouldn't disappear entirely. Hearing this news made the Master angry and claimed my father was a fraud and misdiagnosed his son. When in truth he just didn't like what he heard which I understand people don't like to feel powerless when their child is very ill. However taking out his anger and wrath on my father while I was forced to watch and demanded not to heal him. I watched my father's life slowly drain from his eyes in horror all while he tried his best to assured me I must live no matter what. After the Master was pleased or rather exhausted from beating my father down he left the Infirmary but ordered me to move into the next room with him…I looked toward my father for what would be for the last time as I walked past his puddle of blood, he still had just enough life to whisper "Love never dies my son live to learn that." I think about that day often enough, regardless that was the day I would take over as acting physician.

Akina: It was around this time that I would first meet Adam, I went to the Infirmary to receive treatment for some cuts and bruises which usually in such situations the Master would shoe me away but there were esteemed guest coming and wanted all the slaves to look presentable for them. I had also heard the late doctors son had taken over so I was honestly *She shy's away sheepishly* apprehensive about having someone around my age be looking me over in terms of my health.

Robin: How young were you both?

Adam: I was about 15 at the time and Akina was 16.

Dorobotsu: Huh I always pegged you as the more mature one Adam.

Pietro: Haha Akina's robin the cradle then. *Layna smacks Pietro across the back of his head* Ahhheeow it was just a joke to relieve tension.

Layna: I'm about to relieve the tension between your head and shoulders. *glares frustratingly at Pietro* Pleas continue Akina.

Akina: *Chuckles at Pietro and Layna* no worries, but yes I was hesitant at first but Adam even at that age was very knowledgeable and capable as much as his father was and his bed side manner was well. *She smiles at Adam and laughs*

Adam: It was the first time me and Akina met as she said and well I hadn't taken much time to practice talking to girls so I may have fumbled my words and didn't maintain…total eye contact. *Adam's cheeks start to warm up before he clears his throat* But with time we got to know each other better and well, we fell for one another very hard as it were. However one thing was very clear to both of us, we did not want to have a love life in a hostage situation let alone as slaves. But it did make things a little more bearable I still craved a way for us to leave the Holy Land and be free.

Akina: Little did we know that day would come sooner than we thought. One day the Master and his son had come home from a trip to the Black Market Auctions and they held aloft two oddly shaped fruits and in another act of cruelty wanted me and Adam to eat them. We had no idea what they were but we knew what could happen if we disobeyed orders so we eventually managed to eat the entirety of the fruits given.

Adam: As I'm sure you all surmised those were our Devil Fruits, the young master thought it would be a good punishment for me as he would despise drinking the medicine I prescribed him on occasion. The only reason he forced Akina as well was because he didn't want to waste the other fruit and he had heard tales of how foul they tasted and those tales certainly weren't wrong. But his father was cautious of us in the coming weeks. However it seemed like we didn't get any miraculous powers so he eventually simmered down.

Akina: It was very fortunate that my Plant-Plant fruit was somewhat easy to disguise given how I spent my days with plants in the garden or tending to the décor around the mansion.

Adam: As for me, honestly I didn't think my fruit bestowed any power to me until one day I was conducting some maintenance on the oxygen tanks. I noticed one of them had a leak, however how I noticed it was peculiar. I could see odd shapes coming from the canister it appeared I could see atoms and interact with them in a variety of ways on account of my Atom-Atom Fruit.

Akina: But even with these newfound abilities it's not like we could train and figure out how to make them stronger or even how they fully worked let alone if we tried such a thing and got caught who knew what would have awaited us. Therefore we continued to live in that hellish life a bit longer wondering if we'd end up dying here as our parents did.

Layna: Wait so did your mother end up passing away too then..

Akina: Well actually she died the day of our escape. But I think Adam recalls that night much better than I.

Adam: Yes, so the day of our escape…come to think of it I suppose it was on a night like this, the weather was a bit somber the clouds were similar to how they are now. I had been trying to care for the Masters son who was suffering from a more debilitating disease. However he refused to take the medicine I was prescribing due to it not tasting as sweet as he wanted. He then demanded Akina to fetch me so that I could make him a sweeter version.

Akina: I tried to plead that the medicine would work and that it is supposed to be a little bitter. He decided my backtalk wasn't appreciated and took a swing with his golden cane. My mother stepped in and pleaded with him as well to take the medicine and tried to pour it. The young Master was furious and screamed at the top of his lungs " You're trying to POISON me you old hag!" it was upon hearing this that his father burst into the room and saw my mother trying to pour the medicine into his sons mouth. The Master than grabbed her by the throat and tossed her out into the hallway. My mother begged for him to understand, but he would not hear her pleas and began to punch and kick at her ferociously I rushed down to get Adam from the Infirmary and we both bolted back up the stairs into the hallway but by then it was too late…She had been pummeled to death, her blood pooled her body was battered and bruised her eyes swollen shut her teeth scattered along the rug…The Master ordered me to clean the mess up and burn my mother's remains immediately. My body couldn't move and the last thing I remember was falling to my knees above my mother's body and wailing in utter despair like I never felt before.

Adam: I…I was beyond words. Instead I was overcome with fury and a white hot anger that swallowed me whole. I had witnessed my father nearly the same way and I couldn't do anything about it. Now here I was seeing the woman I came to love lose her parent right before her eyes. At that moment I wanted to burn that man to cinders to render his very existence a nullity. In that moment of fuming anger I could feel every molecule in the air all around me I looked to the skylight that showed me the dark swirling clouds above and I could feel an ionized call for aid something that told me this is what I can and need to do I felt those ionized atoms and I reached out wishing to smite down this cruel devil in the shape of a man…In a blinding flash of light and a rumbling of thunder later I had done just that. A lightning bolt with more power than I could ever imagine bore through the skylight and incinerated our former master. His airtight suit scorched black as the clouds above me, his helmet shattered his head a mere crater where a brain might have been housed. His body collapsed to the floor and in a moment of clarity and realization of what I done I picked up Akina who was still distraught from the traumatizing event and had fainted I slung her onto my back and dashed out of the mansion. To my shock I waltzed into a miracle disguised as a calamity of fire that raged on all over the Holy Land and slaves by the dozens nay hundreds fleeing for their lives. I couldn't let this chance go I thought, this was destiny calling no fate changing for us. A few of the other slaves had overpowered the guards and managed to commandeer the lift that lead to the wharf. Akina came to while we were descending the lift and I had assured her that now we would live.

Akina: In that moment I somehow knew he was right and we would do anything to keep on living. We stowed away on a Navy ship that was docked in the Wharf and managed to con our way into volunteering as medical aids.

Hydragenea: Wait they didn't search you for the Dragons mark? Surely they would have seen you two were former slaves.

Adam: Actually for a rare few such as us, if you were born into subservience in the Holy Land you can avoid being branded as long as you remain a loyal servant and don't anger your masters enough. Akina and I were lucky in that regard and that regard alone. For the rest of our lives we became dedicated to healing others in hopes we could help others and help them heal from pain of all kinds. I would find out later that the reason we were able to escape fully that day was the due to the exploits of Fisher Tiger a brave Fishman who fought to free the slaves of the Holy Land. I wanted to thank him but alas I realized he had been long gone to the mortal world by then.

Akina: Fast forward some years to now and there you have it Adam and I have managed to stay together through so much and we are prepared to stand through much more. *She looks to Sarukenshi* However now we have friends who are able to stand tall through as much adversity as us it seems, and give some laughs along the way. *Everyone smiles at Akina and Adam basking in the warmth of the bon fire*

Sarukenshi: Well I for one am proud of all the progress you made and commend your immense bravery for making it through your experiences. You both are welcome members of my crew and great people to call friends.

Layna: Here her! A toast to the lovely couple! *Everyone clashes mugs once again and cheer*

Chopper: It's pretty comforting having two doctors on board, I can relax a little. *Chopper lays back onto an oddly placed purple and green log* Hmm this feels nice it really rolls into the groves of my body.

Usopp: Huh what do ya mean AAHHH CHOPPER GET OFF THAT! *The log starts rolling and constricting Chopper revealing itself to be an incredibly large snake with dark purple hair running along its back and neck*

Hydragnea: Oh your back Hydra sweetie hey hey OPEN that is not food he is our friend. *Hydragnea speaks firmly at the large serpent who heeds her demand and uncoils itself and slithers over to her nudging its head against hers*

Luffy: WOOAH COOL you got one of those extra-large snakes!

Robin: Oh my a Yonda, what a mighty pet to have at your beck and call.

Layna: Aww you took Hydra with you too he looks almost adult sized that's great How are ya girl *Hydra leans over Layna and lets her rub on her head*

Volchya: Ah yes Hydra is a very loyal companion along with a very fierce and dangerous foe.

Luffy: Hey wait I thought these guys pull Boa's ship whats it doing here with you?

Hydragnea: Ah well you see this is not the same Yonda that pull the ship this is one of their younger sisters I raised her from when she hatched to now and if not for her I wouldn't have been able to travel from Amazon Lily to here.

Sarukenshi: Wait so you mean to say you don't have a ship then considering Layna had a small vessel with her. That means you must have swam and rode your Yonda along the Calm Belt didn't you.

Pietro: There's no way your completely off base with that.

Hydragnea: Very astute of you did indeed swam my way with Hydra aiding me whenever I was weary or needed a break. What gave it away?

Sarukenshi: Well your figure and physique spell it out very easily your back and leg muscles are dead giveaways of constantly swimming as well as your incredibly tight toned core muscles. A testament to the Kuja way of life mixing ravishing beauty with awe inspiring strength. *Hydragnea smirks at Sarukenshi while slighty leaning on Hydra*

Hydragnea: Mhm well I appreciate you admiring my achievements sir.

Dorobotsu: Geez now those two are playing coy between them the Doc's and you and the Sky chef over there feels like this is a couples resort. *He says bumping his arm to Fisresu*

Fisresu: Wha..what are you implying you obtuse vagabond. *Points his sword at Dorobotsu.*

Hitodenshi: Hehe looks like someone is in denial. *Kassie looks over at the boys and giggles to herself*

Fisresu:…Hush the both of you..i need to work off this food get your butts in gear we're sparring now. *He gets up and moves over toward the lake*

Hitodenshi: Man the guy needs to get better at just saying how he feels.

Dorobotsu: Aww don't sweat it he'll come around eventually he's a man of action anyway. *Yells toward Kassie* You should watch I'm sure he wants an audience hehe. *Dorobotsu and Hitodenshi walk over to Fisresu*

Kassie: Oh sh..should I go over?

Morgana: Well I mean you might as well, gives you an excuse to drool over his muscles some more Maestro. *Winks*

Kassie: U..uh I….ok yeah *She walks over to watch the boys spar*

Asuna: Wow sis Hydragnea you're super strong..i really wanna be like you guys. *Asuna hangs her head down in a disappointed sigh*

Nami: Hey ya don't have to be just like your sisters to be strong ya know. You've seen how we fight haven't you.

Asuna: Yeah you guys are cool!

Nami: And I'm not freakishly strong like those three *Points over to Zolo and Sanji arguing while Luffy laughs*

Brook: She is correct one doesn't always need to be the strongest to succeed in a battle.

Sarukenshi: Plus you have a Devil Fruit like me and some of the others you should think about ways to improve your abilities and eventually you can incorporate more ways to fight. It's fine to try new things but you can always stick to what you know and expand on it even if it's something small.

Asuna: Hmm..so then use what I learn with the powers I do know. I think I can do that!

Sarukenshi: You have a big heart and great curiosity and imagination that's what helps your power Asuna.

Robin: Very insightful Sarukenshi.

Layna: Honestly yeah, all of you guys gave some great tips. Do you feel a little better about today now lil sis?

Asuna: Mhmm and I'm ready for some sparring tomorrow!

Hydragnea: That's the Kuja spirit! For now though you should get some rest. Actually we all should.

Franky: I couldn't agree more after a SUUPERR intense day like we had some rest is appreciated who knows what tomorrow holds especially with those freaky giants.

Sarukenshi: Ah that's right I feel like we forgot about the elephant in the room, but what exactly are these things and why were you all so concerned with not killing them but disabling.

Morgana:…That is a little bit of a long story I have no problem telling you but…on one condition.

Volchya: Are you sure Morg garchu!? We just met these people today.

Morgana: That may be but two of their own poured out their hearts to share their strife and some of the people here directly helped us so I don't mind having them know and help more if they would like.

Sarukenshi: What's the condition?

Morgana: You help me finally put a stop to the curse this island has been suffering from.

Usopp: C.. !? Oh great we're on a real haunted island now aren't we. Now we got to fight some crazy ghost or zombies or crazy bat monsters and moving trees I'm going t..*Nami slaps Usopp*

Nami: Would you quit it! This place is not haunted! *She leans over to Volchya* It's not haunted right?

Volchya: No not at all. *She laughs at Usopps antics*

Robin: Oh my Saur-chan what are you up to?

*Sarukenshi is seen walking up to the defeated feral giant on the ground which is tied up but still flailing a bit growling at him as he approaches and tries to bite at him*

Sarukenshi: I'm going to try and get a inside look at things. *Sarukenshi places his hand on the forehead of the giant* Cortex Connection *after a few moments the giant and Sarukenshi are dead silent until he releases his hand in a bit of a shocked expression and a cold sweat sweeping across his brow* I am so sorry for what has happened to you. Morgana I believe you are going to have to give me more context, But I will assure you that you have our support for this endeavor of yours.

Chopper: Are you okay Saru? What did you just do to that giant?

Sarukenshi: Cortex Connection is utilizing Mind Space to go into someones memories so I just got a bit of a jarring amount of info pushed into me..These giants used to be regular humans weren't they Morgana. *The group looks toward Morgana hearing this statement who is seen with a serious stern sorrowful face as she walks toward the giant*

Morgana: Yes that's right. The full story is a bit horrifying and anger inducing especially for me so I apologizing for not elaborating sooner but you have to understand this is all personal to me.

Nami: It's fine we are a bunch of random pirates so we understand trusting us is a bit of a hurdle for anyone.

Morgana: Thank you for your understanding, to give the needed context we have to go back a bit in time. As I stated before I used to work for the Navy as one of their scientist over the years I aided them in research on R&D in regards to improving Marine performance some of my achievements included making a regenerative supplement that would make wounds and injuries heal 45 percent faster in addition with proper medical aid or with basic first aid. Supplementing that invention was a lotion that when applied can help ignore extreme heat or cold for upwards of an hour Elemental Coats is what the heads named it, with all of that under my belt I was promoted to a new scientific project task force on this very island the leader of which was someone who worked closely with the Genius of the scientific world Dr. Vegapunk . That man was Caesar Clown at the time he was also revered in the science community and was lorded as being quite a brilliant man and I was no better in that thinking in my mind this was a man who worked hand in hand with the pinnacle of inventions and miraculous breakthroughs in all sorts of fields so I looked to Caesar in admiration and I thought nothing but greatness awaited me on this team. How woefully wrong I was, the main objective of our team was to find a way to improve the physical capabilities of marine soldiers by a large margin outside of just conventional methods we had seen thus far. Caesar proposes we try and analyze the fauna and flora of the island to see if there are any prospects we can take inspiration. To our surprise this island did yield some very interesting findings, there is a plant on this island that has influenced all the life that lives in close proximity to it or ingest gradual amounts of it over time in such a way that the creatures gain physical advantageous or even mental improvements over those that did not ingest or breath in the pollen on a daily basis. We dubbed this plant the Apeiron Taraxacum or Ultimate Dandelion. Through careful analysis and skillful handling we managed to plant more of the Apeiron Taraxacum all over the island and after a few months saw more animals and plants take on more diverse advantages, for example the Army Ants before were mere soldier ants who were only capable of basic colony actions like carrying food back to its holes but as they were exposed to the pollen they grew to form battalions in their ranks and defend their homes with more efficient and brutal methods and even construct large mounds as fortified strongholds.

Nami: Huh yeah those ants are definitely more advanced than any bug we've dealt with.

Morgana: It wasn't just the animals, certain plants that absorbed the pollen gained better defenses or attributes such as the Hydropyro Arbolis gaining their fireproof and water absorption feature. Caesar then managed to make a serum that he claimed was the product of using the pollen and spliced DNA of certain animals on the island and claims it is the answer to our prayers and proposes a test run so one of our marine security offers to be the one to take its first dose. After a quick injection the marine feels a large surge of energy and strength fill his body and demonstrates it able to bend steel with his bare hands and sprint from one end of the island to the other in nearly a minute however after a few minutes he collapses and nearly goes into cardiac arrest and howling in pain clutching the back of his head. After taking him into the ICU we concluded that first dose was not ready and needed more components necessary. I propose the issue was that there wasn't anything from the human body to help give less of a shock to the subjects system. Caesar gives me some praise saying that idea had merit, he then has me go out into the field to see if there's any more animal subjects we can observe to utilize. Little did I know I would find a lot of things that day that would set forth the rest of my life on a path of strife. I was out in the field and I had climbed to the top of the waterfall over yonder *Morgana points to the Waterfall that has a small rock face leading to what seems like a cave* while up there I found some large paw prints and scratch marks as well as what looked to be remains of some game of a large predator. In that moment I felt breathing on my neck and while I normally would be struck with fear somehow I knew it was fine. I turned around and in front of me was a 25 foot tall white and blue wolf with piercing white and blue eyes, it didn't seem hostile in fact he leaned his head down and sniffed around me and looked me over. I tried to make sure it knew I meant no harm and realized it kept looking at my pocket I pulled out the Dandelion sample I had he seemed very intelligent he motioned his paw in a manner that made it seems like he wanted me to put it down so I slowly placed it down in front of him and he walked over and then grunted and shoved me slightly with his snout to move away. I assumed he was protecting it which was very peculiar behavior but I respected its wishes and backed away slowly he then took the Dandelion in its mouth and leapt off the cliff onto the grassy field below and buried it. I was so mesmerized by its strength and gentleness I wish I could have studied it more…but the next thing I saw that day would put every want I had on the back burner. I looked over to the coast and saw a pirate ship had docked I was about to radio in this information to the base but my transponder snail signal seemed to be jammed so I opted to get a closer look so I slowly climbed down the other side of the rock face and found a small plateau I could peer off of. I then saw Caesar himself conversing with one of the pirates and they traded something that looked familiar to me for a large box of assorted items and money. The item he had traded was the unpolished serum we had first used but a whole batch of it several vials. I was beyond shocked and disappointed that someone of Caesars prestige would be working with pirates I also understood I needed to expose him for this great misdeed however I knew I needed proof of this otherwise I would be laughed out of this team and Caesar could have me laughed out of the whole scientific community or even arrested on fraudulent claims. So I tried my best to follow him once his transaction was completed, he made his way through the jungles opposite of the base into a small bunker which he kept safe through a pin pad activated locked door. Later that night I asked Caesar if he had made any progress on the serum, to which he responded to my surprise he took my advice and added human growth hormone to add as a familiar chemical makeup to it. While I was still obviously appalled at what I saw that day I couldn't help but still be curious if that would solve the formula. As if he could read my mind he told me the other scientist had seen the finished composition and some of them and marines gave the green light to taking it. I asked if I could review the compound but he brushed me off saying it was fine the majority vote was already done testing would begin the following night. So that left me suspicious, I sneaked out of the base late at night and went into the laboratory and tried to find Caesars data, he didn't have any of the recent data he explained in the main file room so I thought it had to have been in that bunker. So I made my way around the island doing my best to not wander into any animals, I eventually found it and managed to use a quick trick to figure out what buttons Caesar pushed to unlock the door after a few tries I gotten the correct pin and the door opened to reveal a stash of money and documents as well as some odd shaped food I examined the lists and saw names of known pirates and criminal underworld barons along with numbers of "Batches to be sent" I surmised he was planning on selling the finished serum on the black market I was so enraptured in my discovery and ever growing disdain of someone I thought I could look up to that I didn't notice someone else coming to the bunker until I heard Caesars laugh in a panic I fell over while gasping and my chin hit the floor causing me to fall onto the odd fruit my mouth accidentally chomping a piece of it. I swallowed out of instinct to not make a noise but I realized this was more of a storage unit then a bunker I had nowhere to hide, and so I awaited my fate but I wouldn't go down without making my case. Caesar floated in and saw me standing in his secret storage room and tried to act surprised at this finding as if it was not his but I glared at him and told him he was a Fraud of a scientist and a mockery to those that would do science in the name of good not for personal gain that he would see justice for this and that I was ashamed to ever call him my superior…

*We now take you to that scene 10 years ago as Morgana tells off her superior Caesar Clown after confronting him on his dealings with the Criminal Underworld*

Caesar: Oh dear Dr. Recurso I believe you are misunderstanding what's going on.

Morgana: No I have more clarity then ever you are a Charlatan and a deceiver you would use the work of several scientist out to change and help the world only to gain monetary improvements to yourself like a selfish con-man! *Shunk* Whha what did you! *Caesar had used hand had extended around Morgana's peripheral and injected her neck with a syringe*

Caesar: Now now Dr. Recurso as I said you were misunderstanding. In that you think science is made only for the righteous and good and nothing else. Fools like you have no candle to my ambition you'll only go as far as "Safety and Regulations" allow you like scared children too afraid to cross the boundaries that genius venture to find greatness! To do so requires funding which means money it doesn't matter where it comes from where do you think those high powered microscopes and plasma tubes come from and the molecular composite machines etc money runs everything and only results matter. For example thanks to your input and my genius I believe I'm one step closer to my gigantification formula you would have been able to marvel at it tomorrow night. Oh and for clarification the serum I stuck you with was the first batch we made a few months back with a bit more of a kick in other words you'll be an incoherent mess now that you're not a regular human.

Morgana: Hrnnrraaagh CAESAR YOU'LL PAAAWWRG *Morgana's body begins to morph into amalgamation of a lion, ram and cobra creature and lunges at Caesar but she phases through his gaseous form*

Caesar: How unfortunate that was a rare Zoan type however that serum will eat away at your senses so good luck getting back to normal Shorororro. *Morgana runs out of the bunker but not used to her new form she stumbles over her feet and falls onto herself growling and howling over and over* Well I suppose this is goodbye it was a pleasure working with you I'll make sure to thank you in my acceptance speech once the new serum is a resounding success SHOROROROR. *Caesar flies off leaving Morgana in a uncontrollable frenzy*

*Back in the present day by the Bonfire*

Morgana: The serum made me lose control of my mental faculties I was stuck in my chimera form for a good 2 weeks. However I still was determined to see what happened to the test subjects of his final serum so the night of the test I managed to track my way back to the field testing area. But to my horror I saw the results, I don't think anyone knew what to expect I saw Caesar flying off scared out of his wits and heard the screams of several staff being grabbed by several large feral giants in tattered clothes of former scientist and marines. I had no clue how this happened but I knew it was his fault..but I could not do anything to stop him he had fled the island long before I could get a handle on my powers. I then had resolved to try and take care of those…people myself however I was shocked to find none of the creatures seemed to be around the base anymore. I scoured the island but found no trace of them I did find one peculiar thing though a large hole had been entombed in what seemed to be Ice. I looked away and saw the ice tracked out all the way into the sea and toward a Marine battleship further out. I had no idea what to make of it so I did my best to focus on getting myself back to regular human form which I did. Then spent the rest of my time on this island. After a few years I grew accustomed to island life and then I would meet Kassie and later hydrangea who wound up on this island by chance.

Robin: Hmm ice huh, I wonder.

Nami: Wait so then why are these things back?!

Sarukenshi: A very important question indeed.

Volchya: I believe that is where I come in. You see me and my friend came to this island 2 years ago and when we came we were attacked by army ants..and well I don't do so well with bugs so I fled as fast as I could blindly around the island until I hit a wall. That wall was one with an odd smell coming off it I couldn't place what it was but I wasn't concerned with that cuz then another creature tried to accost me Dragonflies.

Usopp: Something tells me these aren't normal dragon flies are they.

Volchya: Flys with tough hides and breathe fire.

Usopp: Yup there it is.

Volchya: In response I readied my electro in that moment I large spark followed by a large explosion occurred breaking that wall down into large shards I then realized it was a wall of ice..and then I ventured further inside and saw a load of Meltduds small salamander like creatures that have immensely high body temperature the large bang scared them off and that revealed…the giants hoards of them in partially melted ice tombs I quickly ran out the cave in fear and eventually ran into Morgana and the others you see before you. Unfortunately it is my blunder that caused this.

Morgana: Don't beat yourself up Volchy it isn't your fault its Caesars and that's why I am going to do all I can to revert this atrocity you reinvigorated that cause.

Sarukenshi: I see that is quite the revelation and story. So then Morgana how do can we help you.

Morgana:..We have to go back to the Base that will have all the necessary tools to find a cure I'm sure of it.

Adam: Well if it's aide in cures what better help to have then we as doctors to lend you a hand.

Akina: Yes Adam and I will use all of our knowledge to assist you.

Chopper: Aye and you can count on me too, Dr. Kureha would be disappointed if I didn't help another Doctor in need.

Robin: You have us to help in whatever way as well.

Sarukenshi: You have all the help you can get now don't you. *Sarukenshi smiles at Morgana*

Morgana: I…I can't thank you enough *She wipes away a tear that escapes her eyes while smiling* Let's get some rest first thing in the morning we bring forth an end to this curse!
