It's going to be a rather short epilogue as it focuses on one scene rather than several.

2 Years Later

"One more!"

"Daaad."

"Grover, Annabeth, scoot closer to Percy." Poseidon instructed taking pictures of the trio.

"How many more pictures are you going to take?" Percy whined.

"A few more. No more rolling your eyes, it ruins the picture."

"The faster you'll comply, the faster it will be done." Annabeth whispered into Percy's ear. Percy took her advice and smiled at the camera.

"Hold those diplomas higher." Poseidon instructed.

The trio held their high school diplomas they received less than twenty minutes ago higher.

Poseidon lowered his phone down and smiled at the trio. Amphitrite stood behind her husband with a smile, "Why don't we get some photos with just Percy and Annabeth?"

"Amphitrite!" Percy moaned.

Grover patted his back in sympathy before leaving to join his own family.

His father took a few more pictures of him and Annabeth. He wasn't the biggest fan of the news of him and Annabeth dating, frankly neither was Annabeth's mother for that matter. Percy's father and Annabeth's mother didn't get along at all, luckily his father is civil towards Annabeth. Athena on the the other hand sees no difference from him and his father. Percy preferred visiting Annabeth during her days with her father as he rather be in proximity of the protective father than her feisty mother.

They'be been dating for almost two years. It will be their two year anniversary in June, as they made it official after the Montauk renovation. She offered to help them renovate the cabin, Poseidon agreed, being too oblivious to suspect anything else that was going on.

His father did think it was weird that Athena's daughter offered to help them at first, but hardly gave it a second thought. They literally had to spell it out for him that they were dating. It took him a couple days to come around the idea, but when he did he had one rule; Don't make him a grandfather before the age of forty.

Poseidon's phone started to ring interrupting his picture taking, Poseidon answered his phone.

Poseidon pulled the phone from his ear, "Hestia got lost, I'm going to go and find her and bring her back."

"I'll go with you, we don't need you getting lost as well." Amphitrite said tagging along with her husband.

"Oh thank the lords that's done!" Percy praised.

"Don't get you hopes up, we still need to meet with my mother and my father."

Percy groaned, Athena wouldn't take any photos of them, Annabeth's father on the other hand would. Percy's glanced through the crowds of people to see if he could see her parents.

"Where are they?"

Annabeth scanned the crowd and shook her head, "I don't know, I'm going to find them and bring them back."

Percy nodded watching as the back of his girlfriend disappeared in the crowd. He pulled out his cell phone and began to mindlessly scroll waiting for his father or Annabeth's family to come back.

"Percy!"

Percy glanced up from his phone to see Jason waving at him. Most of his family came to watch him graduate, except for Thalia who's probably at a college party.

Percy walked over to him, "Where's Nico?"

"He's with Hestia. I volunteered to try to find you, but I'm sure Hestia called your father to try to find where you were."

Percy nodded in confirmation.

"Lunch isn't going to be the same without the three of you there." Jason said.

"We were able to move on with Thalia, and I'm sure you will be able to move on next year."

"That's different! There was only one that left last year, now it's three more that are leaving. There will only be four of us now; Me, Piper, Leo, and Nico."

"At least you have a group as it will be only Nico once the three of you graduate next year." Percy pointed out.

Jason grimaced at the thought, "You're right. Though I think Nico will be able to adapt as he often prefers to be alone."

Percy nodded agreeing with that perspective "He's strange that way."

Percy scanned through the crowd to see if he could find with either the rest of his family or Annabeth's family. His eyes landed on someone who he didn't expect as they were supposed to be in another country.

"Excuse me." Percy excused himself to walk towards the college student who stood alone by the exit.

"Aren't you supposed to be taking summer classes in Australia?" Percy asked.

Triton shrugged, "Technically it's winter classes over there and I'm on break."

"Yet you never visit on your breaks except for a week during your summer in December. What changed?"

"Is it a crime to come home?"

Percy let out a smirk, "Did you come back just to see me?"

"Get down from whatever high horse you've planted yourself on."

"C'mon you missed me!"

"I have no idea what you're talking about?"

Percy smile broadened before he took initiative and hugged his half brother. Triton stood stiff for a moment before returning the hug. He would have never done this two years ago before the accident, but after the accident in March two years ago their relationship has improved by shared trauma. It's also helped that they spent time away from each other as Triton has been in college across the world.

"Does Dad and Amphitrite know you're here?" Percy asked pulling away.

"No, It's a surprise for them as well."

Percy glanced back towards the crowd of people. He saw his father and the rest of his family trailing behind him through the crowd.

"Speaking of them, here they come now."

"Triton! What are you doing here? When did you get here? And how long are you here for?" Amphitrite asked rushing to envelope her son in an embrace.

"I got here earlier today, and I'm here for two weeks." Triton said returning his mother's tight grip.

"Are there going to be any more surprises? I don't think my heart could take any more!" Poseidon asked embracing his eldest son.

"This means more pictures!" Amphitrite said and Poseidon whipped his phone out.

Percy suppressed an eye roll, but he stood besides Triton waiting for his father to take another hundred photos. He will suck it up, as there is one thing he has learned over the three years; You only have one family, and you need to make the best out of it today as you might not get to have tomorrow with them.

Technically there will be one more chapter, it'll be the announcement of my other story Flooding With The Unexpected being published - Which is just Poseidon's point of view of this story.

I published this story almost four years ago in June 2019. That was the time before the covid pandemic. If you've been here since the beginning you're troopers.

I want to thank everyone for reading this story. For everyone who've followed, favorite, or voted you're the reason why I continued over the years.

The biggest shout outs are for the ones who gave me a kick in the pants to update. The story would have remained unfinished if it wasn't for you! It feels so good labeling this story as complete!

Thank you!
