"From then on, Mr. Agreste is in possession of all the Miraculouses except for the Ladybug, Black Cat, and the Peacock. And he's no longer called Shadow Moth. He now calls himself Monarch," Angel explained the rest of the future storyline as everyone else is still frozen in horror to what just happened, especially Marinette.
"Excuse me. I'm gonna go throw up!" Marinette said as she covered her mouth and ran off to the bathroom to vomit violently with Adrien running after her while everybody else saw her run off with pity and sorrow. Angel then snapped her fingers as the screen showed the shot of the bathroom, luckily just after Marinette was done vomiting. "This is my fault. In this future, I was made the Guardian and as a result, I pushed you away, therefore I let you and everyone else in Paris down. Now, look what just happened: your father managed to get his hands on all the other Miraculouses thanks to stupid me trusting your cousin with one. I am really the worst ever!" Marinette said to her boyfriend who hugged her while she sobbed heavily.
"No, you're not! Listen to me, Marinette, m'lady. This is not your fault. It's mine for trusting my cousin to help me out of this world modeling tour with Lila, then he wouldn't have been able to do what he did," Adrien said to reassure Marinette, though she continued sobbing.
"But you have to admit that I have made many very bad decisions as Ladybug: harshly exposing Lila for lying about being my best friend for which now she hates me to the point where she's on your father's side and wants me destroyed. I returned the Bee Miraculous to Chloe in spite of her already exposing making a total fool of herself, and look how that turned out! I took the role of Guardian even though I'm clearly not ready for it. And now, I let my love for you cloud my judgment and trusted the wrong person which caused total disaster! Do these sound like good decisions to you, Adrien?! Does it?!" Marinette asked.
"We all make mistakes, Marinette. Plus those mistakes weren't entirely your fault. Lila's already a messed-up liar way long before we've met her. You returned the Bee Miraculous to Chloe because you gave her a chance to change for the better in spite of the way she has treated you over the years. If it were anyone else, she would NEVER have gotten that chance. And apparently in this future, Chloe lost herself of that chance again. Master Fu transferred his guardianship to you, so he would save us both as well as himself plus he totally believed you can take on the responsibility. And like I said, it was my fault for trusting my cousin to take my place on this world trip, so he used our own selfish desires against us," Adrien recounted for his girlfriend to reassure her.
"I don't think that's gonna convince the others back there. They'll probably try to be tactful and nice about this, but I'll bet they're all gonna blame for what happened in this future," Marinette said as she wiped her tears.
"Well, let's find out," Adrien said as he grabbed her hand and led her back to the screening room in which they were greeted by warm smiles from the audience much to their surprise, then they looked up at the screen.
"You all…heard that?" Marinette nervously asked everybody else.
"Yeah. Luckily, that was after you were done literally spilling your guts," Alix said with a chuckle while everyone else cringed their faces in disgust.
"Look, girl. I know what just happened in the future up there is really bad, but we all don't really blame you for it," Alya said to her best friend as she gave her a hug with everyone else softly murmuring in agreement.
"You weren't the only one who has made many mistakes within this situation, Marinette. I now realize that I haven't treated both you and Adrien fairly as I have been focusing most of my attention on you instead of Adrien who has a right to know the same amount of information as you are. And I have made you the Guardian much sooner than I should have because I wanted to save my life as well as both of yours, even though you are still a young child with other responsibilities. I guess I'm no better than the Guardians back at the temple who made me one when I was a child," Master Fu said as he looked down in sadness and shame, which brought a warm smile from both heroes.
"Master Fu's right, Marinette. As angry as I might've been that I wasn't kept in the loop about certain things, it's really not fair for me to take it out on you. I have probably made you more stressed, therefore causing you not to make the best decisions. So, I'm really sorry for my part in it too, m'lady. Anyway, you are no longer alone in this and we all will definitely do whatever we can to help you out," Adrien said as he kissed his girlfriend on the cheek, causing her to slightly blush with everyone else enthusiastically murmuring in agreement.
"Thanks, everybody. You have no idea how good it feels to hear all that," Marinette said as she took a deep breath with a smile on her face.
"So, back to the situation at hand in this future. You said that my father is now calling himself Monarch?" Adrien asked Angel, breaking the moment of silence.
"Yep. This is the last season you all are gonna watch here. Do you know why?" Angel asked her audience who shrugged in response. "This is the very last season where Mr. Agreste is Hawk Moth or Shadow Moth or whatever," Angel pointed out, shocking her audience with their jaws dropped.
"So, we'll finally defeat my father in this future season?" Adrien asked curiously as well as everyone else.
"It's actually more complicated than that, but after this season, Mr. Agreste will no longer terrorize you all," Angel vaguely answered in which the audience sighed in relief while confused at the same time. "More on this season, now that Mr. Agreste has all the other Miraculouses in his possession, he's giving Miraculous powers to his supervillains as he's akumatizing them without actually giving them a Miraculous."
"HOW?!" Marinette loudly asked as she gasped in shock as well as everyone else.
"You all will see tomorrow. Have a good night, everybody!" Angel said, then everybody else left for their respective bedrooms though they're still worried given the new information they heard.
