Chapter 17

My body was growing and changing more than ever before.

Bump getting bigger. Along with weight gain. But I have now gotten the energy boost I've been reading about.

20 weeks into my pregnancy. I can't wait to meet this baby.

While Karen Peyton Haley and Rachel are planning a baby shower for me.

I insisted wasn't needed but they are determined to celebrate this.

I find myself meeting up with Lucas. To discuss our biggest tie these days the baby.

(I'm still not sure whether or I should do home birth or a hospital.

Peyton gave birth at home. And Haley had their babies in the hospital.)

(It's one of the biggest most important choices to make.) Brooke announced.

(I'm more than okay with either one they both ended up with healthy babies. And they had the birth experience they wanted and felt comfortable with.)

(I'm not having the baby so whatever you want I want.) Lucas stated matter of fact.

(I appreciate you're support but I still have to really think about it.) Brooke replied.

(You look pretty. Pregnancy really makes you even more beautiful than normal.) Lucas said.

(Thank you. So the baby is going home in you're car. I'll be in the backseat. With the baby.) Brooke said.

(Makes the most sense. You shouldn't be driving after all of that. What do want food wise.? You can eat before having the baby. I don't care what the rules say.) Lucas replied.

Brooke smiled. (Comfort food. Anything.) She replied.

(Chicken parmesan and a side of chicken Alfredo.) Lucas said.

(The baby and I fully agree. He or she likes when we're together so active.) Brooke commented.

(I know what you like. That's what happens when you know someone a long time and spend so much time together. I never thought we would end of friends again once we broke up)

But I'm so relieved we did. I can't imagine a life without you in it.)Lucas proclaimed.

(Our love bond connection friendship happens once if you're lucky. Falling in love with you back then was the greatest thing that could of happened.) Brooke replied.

(I don't care about who Lindsey is to you.)

(We can't keep ignoring the kiss we shared.)

(You don't know how many times I dreamed of more kisses and more than that.)

(I love you. I'm in love with you. Luke.) Brooke confessed.

(Until you get bored or restless. We've been there done that. Tree Hill is all I will ever really be. You're destined for more than that.)

(The feelings we have are there real all consuming. But it doesn't take away from the reality we live. I'm not apart of you're world. I never will be.)

(So maybe it's time to just accept that.) Lucas proclaimed.

Brooke leaned over kissing him. Lucas kissed her back.

(I don't want to run from this anymore. It's me and you.)

(I've spent so much of my life running away instead of towards.)

(I want to make a home with you. I want to raise our baby together.)

2 boys and a girl. Don't listen to the outside noise. My heart is yours.) Brooke stated matter of fact.

(Marry me Brooke Davis.) Lucas replied.
