Chapter 18

When Brooke awoke from her dream. She was startled and brought back to reality very quickly.
She was in a pain and it wasn't mild. It was sharp constant and causing her to bleed.
Brooke felt herself begin to panic. But knew that wouldn't help she needed to get to her doctor quick and get whatever this was under control.
She quickly got what she needed and pulled on a hoodie and sweat made her way out the door.
She knew her doctor was closed so that left the hospital. She drove there as fast as she could.
Explaining what she felt. That she was 20weeks pregnant bleeding and in pain.
She then remembered to call Lucas. Holding out hope he would answer her call.

Lucas almost missed the call completely.
Lindsey had wanted him to herself without interruption so she kept his cellphone.
Until the calling wouldn't stop. Lindsey got annoyed and picked up.
When she heard who it was she almost hung up.
Brooke had her chance she let him go now she was asking to speak to him.
Lindsey told him who it was and she watched as he got out of bed and started to get dressed. Grabbing his car keys.
(I'll be back. As soon as I can.) Lucas announced. Before leaving his home.
Lindsey rolled her eyes. Realizing her night in with Lucas was ruined now.
