By the time Lucas got to the hospital. Emotionally he was frantic mentally he was consumed with worry.
Brooke only explained that she was headed towards the hospital and that she needed him.
He was able to ask a receptionist where Brooke Davis was. When asked about his relationship to the patient he simply said he was the father to her child.
To his relief she didn't ask anymore questions once she called Brooke's room and asked if she wanted visitors. Only then was i lead to where Brooke was by a doctor.
He explained that the pregnancy had been in distress based off of stress Brooke was under. It had caused her to go into early labor.
Lucas felt his heart sink. Brooke was being given medication to slow down and stop the labor which was working.
The baby is okay. He made it clear Brooke needed to be stress free going forward.
Lucas thanked the doctor for his help and all the information.
Lucas went right into Brooke 's hospital room.
(I was so worried. I'm so glad everything is going to be okay.) Lucas said.
(The baby is staying put until delivery. As you can see I'm fine.)
(You don't have to stay.) Brooke insisted.
(I know you're able to go home but I want to be here with you.) Lucas said.
(I think you held up to you're agreement and you have no real reason to stick around.)
(Lindsey is probably waiting on you. That is you're girlfriend right.?) Brooke asked.
(She is. You move really fast. I mean one minute you're in love with me then you're with someone else.) Brooke stated matter of fact.
(You rejected me I wanted to be with you. Was I supposed to stop my life and wait around.?)
(I loved my uncle Keith but I'm not waiting around for years like he did.) Lucas replied.
(I'll see you at the next doctor's appointment.) Brooke said.
And then he left.
