At entertainment productions Total Drama Island's six producers were talking amongst themselves however they weren't talking about a challenge this time, they had something else in mind.
Producer 1: gentlemen I've been looking into a few things, a lot of our viewers are curious about the contestants backgrounds
Producer 2: I've also noticed that they really want to know what their folks think about their time on the island
Producer 3: well, we are a reality show why don't we interview the contestant's friends or family and see what their opinion on how they've done so far
Producer 4: yeah good idea we'll interview them, and we won't just show it to the contestant but also to the audience to see who they really are
Producer 5: okay but how do we do this
Producer 6: I say we send a camera crew to their homes for a quick interview with their families
Producer 1: okay then let's get to work, we'll have one of our rookies oversee the interviews
Produce 4: maybe we should have Blaineley handle this
Producer 2: no way she'd end up failing and making the whole damn thing about her
Producer 6: yeah I think we should have someone with a little more experience like maybe Josh
Producer 5: sorry but I already had him start hosting Celebrity Manhunt
Producer 3: oh, I suggest Don, I don't why but the man has such good ideas and is much easier to have around than Chris
Producer 1: good idea it's settled Don alongside a film crew will travel the country to the contestants families and then interview them
After deciding on what was the next step for the show, Producer 1 went to go see Don in his cubical about the proposed idea. When he arrived, he found Don board at his desk while playing solitaire.
Producer 1: Don
Don becomes startled and immediately closes the tab showing the solitaire game.
Don: uhm…sir…how may I help you
Producer 1: Don we have selected you to oversee a project we call "Video Message From Home"
Don: and what exactly is that might I ask
Producer 1: we want you alongside a film crew to travel to all the contestants families and have them create a home video for the contestants to see, oh and this has to be done before the week is over
Don: I don't know you're asking me to travel to roughly around twenty-two different states there won't be enough time
Producer 1: relax you'll get the private jet which'll take you, the film crew and the entertainment productions van to all the locations you need to go to, plus this could be a chance for you to finally start that race around the world show you pitched last week
Don: okay then sir I'll do it (they shake hands)
