The Formal dance was here and everyone was getting ready.

"Can you help me with my tie Eivor!" Jacob screamed from his side of the room.

"Yeah hang on!" Eivor then tied his tie. "How do I look?" he turned and looked at Arno.

Arno gave him thumbs up "You look great!"

Eivor smiled at him. "Thank you! I can't wait for Randvi to see me." Randvi was picking him up and he was beyond excited.

"Eivor!" Jacob yelled again.

Alexios then walked out. "Calm down Jacob" Alexios then started doing his hair.

"Alright I'm here" Eivor walked over and helped Jacob with his tie. "You need to learn to tie a tie."

"I tried" Jacob sighed "But the youtube videos confused me." He kept trying to focus but he was so excited he just couldn't.

Eivor rolled his eyes and help Jacob. Soon they were all ready.

"Okay, so what's the plan again?" Jacob asked looking at himself in the mirror one last time.

Arno rolled his eyes "Evie went over it like three times. We are meeting Evie and Elise in the lobby and taking Aveline's SUV. Aveline is going with Conner and Maria is going with Altair and Malik.

"and I'm going with Randvi" Eivor added.

"Okay sounds good" Jacob nodded. "I wonder if the girls are ready?"

"Fuck!" Maria screamed as Evie braided her hair.

"Calm down," Evie told her pulling another stand. "You want to look perfect."

"I don't think I do" strained Maria. She was only letting Evie do this since she begged her.

"You guys good?" Aveline called out while putting on her makeup.

" I think Evie is torturing her" Elise laughed coming out of her room. "Can you zip me up?" Aveline nodded and zipped Elise up. "Like I said I feel like a mummy in this thing"

"But like a hot mummy," Aveline added.

"I feel you, Elise," Evie said from her side. She was also wearing her dress and ready to get it off her. She didn't mind looking but she also didn't mind breathing.

The girls were finally done and meeting the others in the lobby. They all knew they looked great. Everyone was then in the lobby. Altair gawked looking at Maria she looked stunning in silver.

"Take a picture if you keep staring" Maria winked at him. She did admire how nice he looked in a white suit with red accents

"You look stunning though" He looked at her with awe. He could not wait for tonight.

As this was happening Conner thought Aveline looked gorgeous in a black pantsuit. "You lovely Aveline" Conner took her arm ready to get the night started.

"Thanks, you too" Aveline took his hand happy where she was at.

"Wow, Evie you cleaned up nicely" Jacob joked.

Evie rolled her eyes "Thank you. You look nice too for once"

"Okay well we all look nice lets the get the night started" Desmond cheered. He was glad but also nervous that Ezio let him borrow his fancy suits.

"Couldn't have said better" Malik high-fived Desmond.

"Well, Randvi here so I will see you guys at the venue" Eivor then walked outside and saw Randvi pulled up.

"You look nice," Randvi said as Eivor opened the door. He looked great in Navy.

"You look stunning" Eivor looked at her in her navy dress. She was sitting but the dress went all the way down and had a halter neckline.

"Thank you" she blushed. She knew the school year had been crazy and hectic but she was glad how it was ending.

Everyone then drove to the venue. It was a few miles from the school. They would be having dinner, awards, and then dancing. Malik and Kassandra were of course the MCs.

Evie pulled in and admired the balloon arch that was outside the venue. "We should get a picture of all of us" she suggested. Everyone agreed. Evie hearded everyone and they got a group picture outside the venue.

"Evie!" Henry walked up and hugged her. "You look amazing"

"Thanks, Henery you do too." Evie blushed. Henry was wearing a crimson suit that accented his features well. They walked and saw how beautiful the inside was. It was a giant room with tables, a dance floor, a stage, and a buffet part. The decorations were also strewn throughout with red and white as the colors. Everyone then took a seat at the tables.

They all ate dinner first and had a good time. The food was Italian and Ezio was happy about that. Evie was praying Jacob did not get red sauce on miraculously. Everyone then finished and it was time for the awards.

"My time to shine" Malik got up and got Kassandra. They then went to the stage. Kassandra looked stunning in her red toga. Kyra was glad Kassandra dressed up.

"Hello Plebains" Kassandra started to get everyone's attention she grabbed the microphone. "Tonight we are giving out awards. When your name is called please come up here and get your awards from Malik"

Malik then held up a small trophy. "Don't make a long ass speech though" he added.

Kassandra rolled her eyes and started "Okay the first award means a lot to me. This award is to the member with the best character development and that is..." A drum roll played "Alexios! He has made amazing progress this year"

Alexios had a huge smile while everyone clapped. He then went up and retrieved his award. "Thank you! Last year I got most likely to be killed in a car accident so this is better" Everyone cringed at this but Alexios was so happy to realize how sad that sounded.

"Well like Kassandra said best character development." Malik quipped. "The next award is my favorite and that is most likely to drown their girlfriend accidentally and we all know who that is come on Altair"

Everyone was laughing and clapping. Altair rolled his eyes and straightened his suit as he got up. Maira patted him on the back as walked over. "Thanks" He rolled his eyes. "I'll have everyone know I can swim as well as a toddler now"

"Yet that toddler will beat you at a swim race" Kassandra laughed. Altair rolled his eyes again and walked off stage. "The next award is if loving your girlfriend was an Olympic sport they would win gold... Arno!"

Armo smiled and kissed Elise as he went to the stage. "What can I say I love her" he shrugged grabbing his trophy. He could not believe he ended up with his dream girl.

"Next Award" Malik started "Is the Caffeine Addict Award. This person once dumped monster energy in their coffee... Desmond!"

Desmond got up "It was like two times" he defended himself.

"Two times too many" Kassandra added "Next award is the most likely to go to class with a broken arm, covid, and a natural disaster hitting... Evie!"

Evie laughed. "Nerd" Jacob hollard.

Evie got up and got her award "It's called being a good student"

"Alright, next award goes to most likely to cause a huge issue and have no idea what they did... Jacob!" Malik laughed. He made that award.

"That's what you get," Eivor said. Thinking of the dishes and cleanliness issues they had.

Jacob got the award and just laughed because it was true. He never knew he caused mayhem until it was too late.

"Moving on to the next award," Kassandra said. "Looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you... Conner"

Conner smiled at this. It was true he looked sweet but could destroy you in seconds "Thank you"

Malik laughed "Alright next award is most likely to have be at the library even if they don't need to be... Henry!"

Henry smiled as did Evie. She loved how studious he was. "Thank you I love learning" Henry gushed.

Kassandra then spoke "The next award in my opinion is hilarious and even a bit illegal. Most likely to hack into Abstergo and steal their secrets... Rebecca!"

Rebecca loved this because it described her college career perfectly too. "You guys really know me!" she smiled and held her award with pride. Desmond nodded thinking of freshmen year.

"This award is one of my favorites most likely to flirt their way out of death... Ezio!"

Ezio loved this because it was true. "This a perfect award!" he grabbed and laughed.

"Speaking of getting out of death," Kassandra said. "Most likely to debate their way out of death... Shawn!"

Shawn loved this and did pride himself on his debate skills. "Of course, I could debate my way out of that" He got the award and then walked off stage.

"The next award," Malik said "is most likely to fist fight god... Eivor!"

Eivor loved that. He could have sworn in a past life he fought Odin.

Kassandra then started talking "The next award is best dressed and that goes to Aveline!"

Aveline knew she was always the best dressed. She went up and retrieved the award.

They gave out more awards and everyone loved them. Kassandra gave Malik the most sassiest award and Malik Kassandra was the most likely to put everyone in the ground award. It was now time to dance.

Arno led Elise to the dance floor. They were laughing and having a good time.

"Hey I'll go get us some punch," Arno told her and walked over to the buffet table.

Elise waited for Arno and Bellec stumbled over to her.

"You Templar whore" Bellec slurred out. He was holding a piece of cake and a drink in another hand.

Elise looked at him extremely confused "Are you drunk?". She hated Bellec and the way he treated Arno.

"You are a Templar dating someone in the Brotherhood it's unnatural and weird"

"I'm not a Templar" she defended herself "Just leave us alone"

"Bullshit" Bellec said glaring daggers at her.

"What's going on?" Arno said sternly coming with his punch.

Bellec then looked at Arno "You'll thank me for this later" Bellec then looked to be about to throw his cake at Elise and Arno's lighting instincts kicked in. Arno threw his punch at Bellec causing him to fall back and drop everything.

"What the Fuck!" he screamed at Arno. Wiping his face. Just then everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over at them.

"You need to leave us alone. I don't know why you feel the need to be the way you are but stop it." Arno started.

"What's going on?" Altair ran up concerned.

"Getting rid of the slut" Bellec slurred.

"Bellec we have put up with too much of you this year," Altair told him sternly. "This enough and you need to leave. You will be expelled from here later in the week with a formal process. Eivor, Conner" Altair called out. "Escort him out"

Eivor and Conner escorted him out. Bellec swore and cussed at everyone but he was finally cast out. "Thank god," Arno said watching Eivor and Conner do their job.

"For real" Elise nodded "Now let's dance". She then grabbed Arno and they went to the center of the dance floor and danced the night away.

Elise was looking at Arno with so much admiration "I'm glad I found you. This is going to sound weird but I feel like I've known you forever"

"I agree. I've never felt this about anyone" Arno blushed. "I love you"

Elise smiled at him "I love you too" She then kissed him passionately. She could not believe she lucked up with him. She then pulled away "Do wanna get a hotel later" She then looked up at him.

He gave her a huge smile "Let me get an Uber" He pulled out his phone.

"Wow that was hot" Maria turned to Altair after he yelled at Bellec.

Altair immediately composed himself "Oh umm thank you" He was blushing hard. "Do you want to dance" He held out his hand.

Maria took his hand "I never thought you would ask" They then walked to the dance floor. At first, the music was fast but as the night went on the music slowed down. Soon Taylor Swift's Love Story was playing. "This song is so nauseating"

"Oh come on Maria two people in a forbidden relationship don't you think that's romantic" he swayed with her.

"I guess" Maria shrugged "But why does it have to be so complicated just be together you know" She didn't believe in waiting for your moment she believed in grabbing it.

Altair rolled his eyes and smiled "Yeah but what if they're on opposite factions that hate one another? I mean you were almost a Templar." Altair pointed out.

Maria looked at him for a second and then got her answer "Fuck everything if I wanna be with someone I'm going to be with them." She was glad she never joined those assholes she knew it would have killed any relationship outside the faction.

Altair then burst into laughter. He knew his Maria was a force to be reckoned with. They danced a little longer. He could not believe he was with Maria the one who had the balls to scream at him before school even started. "Hey do you want to get out of here" he whispered into her ear.

She then pulled away and looked at him. "What?" not sure what she heard.

He then smiled at her "I booked a room for us at the Cozy Haystack" Yeah he knew tonight was perfect for their romantic evening.

"Well why didn't you say anything sooner let's go" She grabbed his hand excitedly and started walking out.

Altair pulled back real quick "Hang on let me tell Malik where I'm going. I don't want him to think I'm getting kidnapped"

"Yes because someone would want to kidnap you" she quipped.

Altair rolled his eyes and looked for Malik. He finally found him at their table talking to Desmond, Ezio, Sofia, Jacob, and Alexios. "Hey Malik I'm headed out"

Malik then looked at him and blurted out "You gettin laid"

Altair's face turned red as everyone looked over at him "Perhaps"

"Nice!" Jacob said.

"Be safe friend!" Ezio added.

Altair rolled his eyes and said goodbye. He then ran up to Maria and grabbed her hand. They ran to his car. The cozy haystack was only five minutes away and he was already checked in. They then got out and Maria started kissing him passionately. Altair then picked her up bridal style. "I'm glad you're sober for once for me to carry you" he joked.

"Oh shut up" She smiled at him and planted her lips on his. They then got into the room. Altair kissed her even more. She started taking his jacket off and Altair unzipped her dress. That night was the first of many times they would be together.

An hour earlier.

"Wow look at Maria and Altair leaving," Evie said as she observed her roommate running out of the venue. She and Henry were also on the dance floor dancing together.

Henry chuckled "I don't blame her and Altair the rest of the night is kinda boring" he admitted.

Evie nodded and then she had an idea "Hey I have an idea" she looked up at him.

"Okay what is it?" he asked curiously. Henry loved how Evie kept him on his toes.

"Let's do one more ghost hunt" She smiled at him. "It can be the finale for the year"

Henry smiled at her "I love that! Let's go to the library I have access to the attic where I can bring my spirit box its in my car"

"Perfect let's go!" Evie and Henry then ran out of the venue and got into his car. Evie was excited to ghost hunt with her boyfriend. They got into his car and took a short trip to the library. They then stood outside of the daunting building.

"I'm ready" Henry grabbed her hand and held his spirit box in the other.

"Same!" Evie smiled. They walked in. It was mostly quiet since it was a Saturday night and most people were partying or not studying. They then walked up to the attic. It was a staircase away from the main room. They were currently at the bottom. Henry nodded to Evie and they walked up it. As they walked up the staircase it got so much colder.

"I can feel a presence" Evie shuddered.

"Same" Henry nodded. They then reached the attic door. Henry used his library keys and unlocked the door. The door slowly creaked open. The attic was dark and dusty. Evie and Henry turned on their phones for a light source. There was furnishing and other stuff the library didn't use littered throughout. "Okay, here we go" Henry turned on the spirit box. "Minerva, are you here?" the box made a crackling sound.

"It's here," Evie said. She looked around for any sign. Evie saw a mirror in the corner and swore she saw a third figure.

"Minerva, how did it feel to have Juno undermind you?" Henry asked the spirit box. The spirit box made a god-awful noise and the mirror in the corner cracked.

"We need to go!" Evie grabbed Henry's hand.

"Wait Minerva did Juno actually kill you," Henry asked quickly. He wanted to know so badly.

The box came to life "Yes" came a hissing noise out of it.

"We have an answer let's go," Evie said pulling Henry away fast. They then ran down the stairs as they got to the bottom they heard the attic door shut and lock.

"Wow," Henry panted. He was so happy he had answers.

"I know" Evie smiled. That was awesome. "I'm on a high now let's go find more ghosts" Evie pulled Henry out of the library and held his hand. They then walked around the dark campus. It was also foggy out only adding to the creepy atmosphere. Evie could not believe she was with her boyfriend ghosthunting and in a formal dress. She would not have believed herself a the start of the year if she knew this was how her year ended. They were then on the main quad laughing about their experience when Henry went quiet.

"Evie, what is that?" Henry pointed to the end of the main quad. It was pretty far out and the lights were dim. Evie had to squint to see and then she saw. A pale humanoid figure running. Luckily it was running across the field and not to them. But it then stopped looking at them and screamed a horrific scream.

"Can we go?" Evie was about to panic she was not dealing with a humanoid creature in a formal dress.

Henry nodded and they ran back to his carn as fast as they could. "What was that hideous creature?"

"I don't know?" Evie said buckling her seatbelt. Henry then started the car and started driving.

"Do you want me to drop you off?" he blushed. He wouldn't mind if Evie spent the night.

Evie smiled at him "I think I should spend the night protecting you from Humanoid creatures" She winked at him.

"I think you should" he agreed.

A few hours earlier at the dance.

Conner and Aveline were dancing to the music. "I love this song!" Aveline screamed out over the loud music. It was Rihanna's song, Diamond.

"Same!" Conner yelled back. They thankfully were dancing pg rated compared to the club. He knew it would be inappropriate to dance like that at a function like this.

"Hey, do you want to finish what we started at the club?" Aveline just blurted out. She wanted to be with Conner badly.

Conner then blushed. "Sure!" he was nervous but ready. He then grabbed her hand and they rushed to his car. He didn't even say goodbye to his friends. The drive back to the dorm was fast. Conner figured he should have Aveline not where he worked but fuck the rules. They then got onto the elevator and started aggressively making out. The door was about to shut but a hand caught it.

"Wait!"

Conner pulled away from Aveline and his heart sank. It was Dobby. He wanted to die.

"Oh," she said stepping in.

"Hey Dobby" Conner gave an awkward smile.

"Hi," she replied quietly. The elevator ride to the second floor was agonizingly slow.

"So how are you?" Aveline blurted out to ease the awkwardness.

"I'm good," Dooby said looking at her phone. She was also dying. The elevator finally hit the second floor. The door opened and Dobby stepped out but not without the last word "Fuck you guys" She flipped them off and left.

Conner and Aveline stood there shocked. Dobby always seemed to be reserved and quiet. "Damn okay" Aveline laughed.

"Oh my god that was the worse moment of my life," Conner added laughing. "I feel so bad right now though" Conner did feel bad he basically used Dobby as a stepping stone to Aveline.

"I mean what can you do" shrugged Aveline. She also felt bad about how she and Conner ended up together but they had to move on.

Earlier

"Damn, there goes another" Malik observed Conner and Aveline running out of the venue like it was on fire. He, Desmond, Jacob, and Alexios were all sitting at the table eating cake and watching the couples dance.

"Dang everyone is getting some" sighed Desmond.

"I have an idea!" Jacob's face lit up. "Let's go get drunk!"

Alexios nodded "I like that"

Malik rolled his eyes "Sound immature I'm in. Let's tell Ezio and Eivor we're heading out." Malik got up and searched for Ezio. He was dancing with Sofia and looked so happy. Malik was glad he was over Rosa. "Hey man I'm heading out with Des, Alexios, and Jacob"

Ezio turned and looked at Malik. "Sure sounds good I'm on duty tonight so it works out. If you need me let me know"

"Of course" Malik nodded. He felt bad Ezio had to be on RA duty but someone had to do it. Malik walked back to the table and saw Alexios and Jacob saying goodbye to Eivor.

"Okay let's drink!" Jacob cheered. They all nodded and walked to the bar where everyone but Malik drank on Valentine's Day. It was only about a ten-minute walk.

"Okay I want a shot of tequila," Alexios said as they took a seat.

"First round is on me!" Desmond said over the loud music. Everyone cheered as they took their shots.

"Amazing!" Jacob said as the alcohol started warming up to him. Soon everyone was getting sloshed.

"Okay, so I know everyone thinks" Malik then hiccuped "I'm a cold asshole but I actually care about you guys. It just takes effort since you guys are stupid."

"You guys are the best" Alexios teared up "I had the worse few years here until I met you guys"

"Of course, we're the best!" Jacob gave Alexios an awkward side hug. "I just can't believe I'm drinking with my besties minus Eivor, Ezio, and Arno."

"I'm glad our friends have their special someones I hope I can find mine!" Desmond said. He figured he could try dating next year.

"Oh, my god guys!" Jacob blurted out. "We should play truth or dare!"

Malik nodded. "This bar is too cramped we should move it" The bar was filling up with people and the music was too loud to really hear one another.

"What about the main quad" Alexios proposed. He loved exploring the campus drunk.

"I like that!" Desmond screamed over the music. They all then took more shots and headed out to the main quad. They all then collapsed onto the ground laughing hysterically.

"Oh my god last time we collapsed onto someone's yard it was Dr. Cormac's!" Alexios laughed.

Malik then made a face of confusion "What?"

"Okay enough let's play truth or dare!" Jacob slurred. "Desmond truth or dare"

Desmond was laying on the ground staring up at the sky. "Truth I'm too drunk to move"

Jacob nodded "Do you want to date Lucy Stillman"

Desmond laughed "I guess it's obvious yes but's she a Templar"

"So she can change I did," Alexios told him.

Desmond shrugged "Malik truth or dare"

Malik sat there thinking about it. "I'll do truth." He also felt so drunk and did not want to move too much.

"Okay did you even feel resentment towards Altair about your arm?" Desmond just spilled that one. Everyone was silent on that question.

Malik sat there for a second unsure of how to answer but he did anyways. "At first I did but after going the therapy and getting help I don't resent him at all. I need to keep moving forward and not look back."

"Well, that's a sad question someone give me a dare!" Jacob asked.

Alexios looked at Jacob and then hit him with the perfect dare. "Jacob I dare you to streak across the main quad"

Jacob smiled at that "My dad didn't raise no quitter" He stood up and started to take his jacket off.

"Stop Jacob!" Malik reached his hand. He sounded just like Evie. "You could get in serious trouble"

"Oh come on!" Desmond butted in. "It's like 2 am No one is up except people doing illegal stuff. No one in the right mind would be on the creepy quad at 2 am."

"Yeah the fog will cover Jacob" Alexios pointed out.

Malik let go of Jacob's hand "Fine whatever"

Jacob then took his clothes off fast and ran across the field. The alcohol was in full swing now and he knew he was acting like a maniac. He then saw two people far away. He couldn't tell who they were but he thought it would be hysterical if he just screamed at them. After he screamed he ran back laughing. Everyone was looking at him like he was crazy. He then started putting his clothes back on "I just screamed at two random blokes"

"What?!" Alexios laughed. Jacob was always full of surprises.

Jacob finally had his clothes back on "I just screamed at two random blokes"

"What is wrong with you?" Malik asked trying to suppress a laugh. He knew Davenport had a new Cryptid story.

"That sounds hilarious we should probably go just in case the university police are called out here," Desmond said getting up and trying to get his footing.

"It was so funny" Jacob laughed and wiped a tear from his eye. They all then stumbled back to Homestead laughing the whole way. The next morning Jacob and Alexios were passed out on the couch and floor.

A few hours earlier.

Eivor had said goodbye to Jacob and Alexios who was going to get drunk. Eivor wanted to join them but he was glad he was dancing with Randvi.

"Thanks for inviting me!" she smiled up at him. She was glad Sigurd and her broke up but she did feel awful about how it happened.

"Of course" Eivor spun her around. "I'm glad you could join"

"This beats those nauseating balls Sigurd had to go to with his dad" Randvi remembered how awkward she felt at those things.

"How is he by the way?" Eivor asked. He never talked to him again after everything.

Randvi shrugged "I don't know. I want to check on him but I also don't want to hurt him."

Eivor nodded "I'm dreading going back to Norway" The campus would not allow him to stay over the summer.

"Why don't you stay with me" she proposed to him. "It can be practice for when we're older"

Eivor was shocked at this "Are you sure?" they were still dancing and Eivor almost dropped her hands he was so shocked.

"Why not just work and pay a little bit of rent" Randvi's face then lit up "Better yet be my house husband and clean and make dinner for me!"

Eivor laughed "Okay I think I would like that". That night Eivor spent the night at Randvi and they planned what to do over the summer. It was decided Eivor could live with her and work with her at the country club she currently worked at. The next morning Randvi dropped Eivor off at Homestead.

Eivor unlocked the door and saw Alexios and Jacob passed out on the couch and floor. "Are you guys dead?"

Jacob then let a groan.

Alexios responded "I feel like shit"

Eivor rolled his eyes "I'll start breakfast". Eivor started cooking and Alexios and Jacob slowly came back to life and helped. Soon Arno came back and they all talked about their nights. Arno and Eivor could not quit laughing about Jacob's story.

Maira unlocked her dorm door and walked in. She felt great but also tired. She didn't get much sleep last night. She was currently wearing her formal dress and felt hilarious walking back. She had only done the walk of shame once with Robert but it now felt like a victory lap with Altair.

"Maria?" Aveline was sitting at the table drinking coffee also in her formal dress.

"Did you also do the walk of shame" Maria laughed.

Aveline rolled her eyes. "It wasn't much of a walk if they live on the second floor"

Maria smiled at her. Glad she and Conner were finally together "Nice"

Two seconds later Evie opened the door also wearing her dress."Oh hey, guys" Maria and Evie were shocked at Evie looking so disarrayed. "What I spent the night at Henry's," she said it like no big deal.

"Evie was that your first night together," Maria asked.

"Yes but get this" Evie of course glossed over the important stuff "We went ghost hunting and saw a cryptid." She still could not get over that. It was one of the most hideous things she'd ever seen.

"But how was Henry" Aveline asked.

"He was fine not too scared. Anyways I'm going to go shower" Evie did have a great night but was more interested in telling her spooky stories.

Elise then opened the door and walked in. "Damn, I guess we all got laid" she just outwardly said. She of course was wearing her formal dress.

"Yeah, I guess we did" Laughed Aveline.

"Oh Elise guess what I saw" Evie smiled. She was glad she saw a cryptid with Henry.
