Narrator: As the dawn began to break for the fourth day at Bible Camp, Molly was starting to wake up, along with her new friend Teddiursa. It was going to be a special day for Molly because some strange symbols with eyes came out of nowhere.
Molly: (yawns)
Teddiursa: (yawns) Good morning, Molly.
Molly: (giggles)
Then Teddiursa noticed something strange. A creature with one eye that looks like a Hebrew Letter came out of nowhere.
Teddiursa: Whoa!
Molly: Huh?
Teddiursa: What is that?
Just then, Ash and Serena came into the room quietly.
Pikachu: (whispers) Think Molly and Teddiursa are up by now?
Fennekin: (whispers) I think so.
Ash: (whispers) We'll know soon.
Serena then saw a creature floating near Molly's crib.
Serena: Oh my! What's that?
Ash and their respective Pokémon looked to see the creature in question. Just as Daisy came along.
Ash: Daisy, look at that!
Serena: What is it?
Daisy got a good look at the creature.
Daisy: Let me see… (walks over and took out her Rotom Phone)
Rotom Phone: Unown, Shlomlitian Form. The Symbol Pokémon. A Light and Sound-Type.
Ash and Serena: Unown?
Daisy: Yes, this Unown is different from the Unown in the Johto Region and other places around the world.
She used her Rotom Phone to show the different forms Unown have.
Daisy: See?
Serena: They look like letters of the alphabet.
Ash: Yeah. From A to Z.
Pikachu: But this Unown doesn't look like an English Letter.
Daisy then looked up more on the Shlomlitian Unown, showing more images of them.
Daisy: That's because they're shaped like Hebrew Letters. See?
Ash, Serena, and their Pokémon looked at all the shapes that Shlomlitian Unown takes on.
Ash and Serena: Whoa…
Pikachu: But what's this Unown doing here?
Fennekin: I don't know.
Just then, Spencer and Eliza started to wake up.
Serena: Look, Professor and Mrs. Hale are waking up.
Ash: Good morning, you two.
Professor Hale: Well, hello kids.
Eliza: (notices Unown, gasps) Oh my goodness!
Professor Hale: What is it, honey?
Then he saw the Unown floating over Molly's crib and gasped in surprise.
Professor Hale: Is that a Pokémon?
Daisy: Yes, Professor. It's a Shlomlitian Unown.
Teddiursa: (to Unown) Um… Hello?
Alef Unown: (cheerfully) Unown.
Pikachu: (comes up) Where did you come from? What're you doing here?
Voice: It's here to tell you that you're going to do a special challenge.
Everyone turned to see that Adam was already out of bed.
Ash: Professor Adam, what are you doing here?
Serena: Yeah, what special challenge?
Professor Hale: How bout we wash up, get dressed and have breakfast first before the Professor tells us?
Ash: Good idea. (sniffs) Ugh. We'll let you change Molly now.
Sure enough, Molly made a whimpering sound as Eliza came over to her daughter.
Eliza: Aww, don't fret, baby, let's have your diaper changed.
After a while, everyone was dressed and were having breakfast. As the kids ate, they were surprised to see the Shlomlitian Unown that was with them.
Clemont: What in the world is that?
Brock: Looks like a Shlomlitian Unown, shaped like the Hebrew letter, alef.
Tabitha: That's right, Brock.
Bonnie: Whoa…
Isies: It's so cute! (smiles)
May & Dawn: Aww…
David: Certainly not a Pokémon you see everyday.
Goh: Ash, why is that Unown here anyway?
Ash: Ask Professor Adam.
After breakfast was over, Adam gathered the kids together.
Professor Adam: So, I imagine you're all wondering why this Unown is here with us.
Kids: Yes.
Professor Adam: Well, today you're going to solve an Unown mystery. It's a challenge I made up.
Cilan: Unown mystery? (smirks) Hmm…
Professor Adam: To solve the puzzle you'll each need a list of letters of the Hebrew alphabet. That way, you'll unlock the message the Unown has made.
Kiawe: Might help if we actually knew the Hebrew alphabet.
Brock: Actually, Tracey, Cilan, and I have been learning the Hebrew alphabet during our time here in Shlomlite. So, we can help teach you guys.
Clemont: Really? That'd be great!
Tracey: Is that okay, Professor?
Professor Adam: Sure, go ahead.
With that, Brock, Tracey, Cilan, and even Tabitha used a chart to help teach the others the Hebrew alphabet.
Brock: Here's how it goes… Alef, Bet, Vet, Gimel, Dalet, Hay…
Tracey: Vov, Zayin, Chet, Tet, Yud, Kaf, Chaf, Chaf Sofit…
Cilan: Lamed, Mem, Nun, Samech, Ayin, Pay, Fay…
Tabitha: Tzadik, Koof, Raish, Shin, Sin, Tav, and Sav.
Iris: Wow! That's more than the English alphabet. I mean, it's only 26 letters. And this alphabet has 28.
Professor: That's right, Iris. So, are you ready to start this challenge?
Ash: Well, I'm game.
Pikachu: Me too, buddy.
Professor Adam: Let the challenge begin!
And with that, the kids and their respective Pokémon began the challenge.
Ash: I wonder what's the first Hebrew letter of this secret message.
Serena: We have a lotta ground to cover.
Then Pikachu saw an Unown that was shaped like a Chet.
Pikachu: Hey, look there! (points)
They looked to where the Mouse Pokémon was pointed to and sure enough, there was the Unown.
Chet Unown: Unown!
Serena: So I guess our first letter of the message would be Chet.
Chet Unown: (nods) Nown, Unown.
Pancham: I say we keep the momentum goin' while we still can!
Fennekin: Yeah!
Ash: Whaddaya, Molly? Wanna help us out?
Molly: (smiles, nods) Uh-huh.
Teddiursa: I'm in!
Ash's other Pokémon nodded in agreement.
Froakie: That's the spirit!
With that, they continued looking for other Unown. Meanwhile, May, Max, Clemont, and Bonnie were looking for the Unown too.
Clemont: (to May) Found anything yet?
May: Nope. Wait! I see something.
Clemont looked to see what May found. She saw an Unown that was shaped like a Gimel.
Gimel Unown: Unown!
Clemont: That must be the second letter for our puzzle.
Gimel Unown: (nods) Nown.
Suddenly, Max spied a small green and white Pokémon close by. It was a Feeling Pokémon called Ralts. Max grabbed his sister's hand to get her attention.
May: Hmm? What is it, baby brother?
May looked to where Max was pointing to and saw Ralts for herself.
May: (gasps) Oh my gosh. A Pokémon.
Meanwhile, Bonnie spied a small Pokémon that looked like an orange Pikachu with a long black tail. It was an Antenna Pokémon called Dedenne. Bonnie tried to get her brother's attention.
Clemont: Bonnie? What is it?
Then Clemont saw what Bonnie was pointing to.
Clemont: Wow! Another Pokémon.
May: This is amazing! Our little siblings found two different Pokémon at the same time.
Max and Bonnie made their way toward Ralts and Dedenne.
Max: (to Ralts) Hi, thewe.
Ralts: (smiles) Ralts…
Bonnie: (to Dedenne) Hewwo. (smiles)
Dedenne: (smiles) Dedenne.
May: Hello there, Ralts.
Clemont: And hello to you, Dedenne.
Both Pokémon said hello in their own way.
Torchic: You're probably wondering what we're doing, huh?
Ralts: (nods) Ralts.
Dedenne: (nod) De-ne-ne.
Shinx: Well, we're looking for Hebrew Unown to crack a message.
Skitty: Yeah. You guys wanna help out?
Ralts: (nods) Ralts!
Dedenne: (nods) Dene-ne-ne!
Torchic: Great! Let's go!
With that, Ralts and Dedenne joined May and Clemont's little group in their search. At the Arts and Crafts Center, Dawn and Iris were on the Unown Search.
Iris: (steps out of her sandals) Axew and I'll search up in that tree. You and your Pokémon can search here on the ground.
Dawn: (smiles) Good idea, Iris. We can cover more ground that way.
With a smile and Axew riding in her hair, Iris began climbing a nearby tree to get a bird's eye view.
Axew: Have you spotted one?
Iris: (looks around) Hmm… Yes!
She pointed to where she saw an Unown. It was shaped like a Pay.
Pay Unown: Unown!
Dawn: Have you found one, Iris?
Iris: Yeah, over there! Look!
Dawn looked and saw the Pay Unown.
Dawn: Ah yes, I can see it now. Great work, Iris. (winks)
Iris: Thank you, Dawn! We have another letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
Dawn: We sure do!
At the Instrument Playground, Lana, Lillie, and Mallow were still on the search. Their Pokémon were also helping with the search.
Lillie: Not here. Anything, Lana?
Lana: Not there either, Lillie. Mallow?
Mallow: I found one! And it's a Samech.
Sure enough, Lana and Lillie looked and saw a Samech Unown.
Samech Unown: Unown!
Bounsweet: Hello.
Snowy: Nice to meet you.
Samech Unown: (nods) Unown.
Lillie: Well, that's the fourth letter of the message.
Mallow: (smiles) Let's keep it up, girls!
At the Stack the Books of the Bible corner, Gladion, Kiawe, and Sophocles were looking for the fifth letter of the message.
Gladion: Found anything, guys?
Sophocles: Not yet. Kiawe?
Kiawe: I have!
Gladion and Sophocles looked, and saw an Unown, which was another Chet.
Chet Unown 2: Unown!
Gladion: Good work, Kiawe.
At the pool, Chloe and Goh were looking for an Unown for the secret message.
Chloe: Find anything?
Goh: Not yet. Wait a minute!
Chloe and their Pokémon looked and saw another Unown.
Chloe: Hey, that's the same Alef Unown!
Alef Unown: Unown!
Goh: You're right! That must be our sixth letter for the puzzle.
Scorbunny: (to Alef Unown) Is that true, dude?
Alef Unown: Unown. (nods)
David and Isies on the other hand were looking for the seventh letter with Karolina's help.
Isies: Any luck finding an Unown, Karolina?
Karolina: Not yet! David?
David: Still looking. Isies?
Isies: I think so!
Karolina, David, and their respective Pokémon looked to see where Isies was looking.
Isies: That must be our seventh letter.
They went to get a closer look. They saw an Unown that was shaped like a Sin.
Sin Unown: Unown!
Karolina: Well done, Isies.
David: Yeah, great job! (winks)
Isies smiled and blushed at the compliments. Meanwhile, Brock, Tracey, and Cilan were looking for the eighth letter.
Tracey: Found a letter yet, guys?
Brock: Not yet. Cilan?
Cilan: Hold on. I think I see something…
Cilan was right. There was an Unown shaped like a Mem.
Mem Unown: Unown!
Cilan: That must be our eighth letter for the mystery message.
Just then, Marill heard a voice.
Voice: Smear…
Marill: Who's there? (ears twitch)
Tracey: What is it, Marill?
Marill: I think another Pokémon is close by.
Tracey: Do you know where?
Marill: Let me see… (listens carefully) Hmmm…. That must be it. (points)
Tracey, Venonat, and Scyther looked in the direction Marill was pointing toward. It was a Smeargle.
Tracey: Wow! It's a Smeargle.
Marill: You're right.
Venonat: (to Smeargle) Hi, there.
Smeargle: Smeargle.
Tracey: What're you doing out here?
Smeargle: (points at something) Smear.
They looked to where Smeargle was pointing to.
Tracey: (amazed) Wow… Nice painting. (pause) Y'know, I'm kind of an artist, too. Wanna see?
Smeargle: Gle!
Tracey pulled out his sketchbook and showed Smeargle some of his artwork. Smeargle was impressed. Then Tracey had an idea.
Tracey: Smeargle, would you like to join our little team?
Marill: We could use your help.
Venonat: Plus, you'd receive the blessing of the Lord.
Smeagle thought, then agreed. With that, Marill and Venonat touched his paw.
Marill & Venonat: We bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ.
With that, words began to come out of Smeargle's mouth.
Smeargle: Sme- Whoa…
Scyther: So, how do you feel, lad?
Smeargle: I feel… Great!
Tracey: (pulls out a Poké Ball) Now let's make it official. (touches Smeargle with the Poké Ball)
Smeargle went inside the Poké Ball, which jiggled until it signaled a successful catch.
Tracey: Alright! I caught a Smeargle! Come out!
Smeargle came out of his Poké Ball.
Tracey: Welcome to the team, Smeargle.
Smeargle: Thank you for accepting me into your group, Tracey.
Tracey: You're welcome. C'mon, let's catch up with the others.
Smeargle: Right behind ya.
Meanwhile, Misty, Gary, and Tabitha were looking for the last letter for the mysterious message.
Tabitha: Found anything, buddies?
Gary: Not yet. Misty?
Misty: I have! Take a look!
Tabitha and Gary looked to where Misty was pointing to. It was another Chet Unown.
Chet Unown 3: Unown!
Misty: Guess that's all the Shlomlitian Unown we can find, huh?
Gary: Yeah, now let's get back to Professor Adam.
Tabitha: Good idea. Let's get going.
While the Professor was waiting for his campers to return, Pikalos, Sprigaia, Fuego, Quaxio, and the rest of the Starter Pokémon were talking to him.
Pikalos: Adam, the eggs and treats are all hidden.
Adam: Good work, guys. (sees the kids and their Pokémon) Here they come, now.
Ash: Hey, Professor.
Serena: We managed to find all the Unown.
Adam: Excellent! Great work! Now let's decode that message and translate it.
Mallow: Okey-dokey!
Adam: So, who has the first letter?
Ash: We do!
The first Chet Unown floated forward.
Adam: Good work, you two.
May: Clemont and I have the next letter.
Gimel Unown: (floats over) Unown.
Adam: All right, Clemont. You, May, and your baby siblings have done well.
Clemont: Thanks.
Dawn: Iris and I found the next letter.
Pay Unown: (floats over) Unown.
Adam: Magnificent search, girls.
Dawn and Iris smiled and gave each other a high five.
Lillie: We found the next one.
Samech Unown: (nods) Unown!
Adam: Terrific job on finding Samech, girls.
Alola Girls: No problem!
Adam: Who's next?
Gladion: That'd be us.
Chet Unown 2: (comes over) Unown.
Adam: Another Chet! Incredible job, boys.
Alola Boys: Thanks!
Chloe: Goh and I found the next letter.
Alef Unown: (nods) Unown!
Adam: Ah, Alef from this morning. Right on, kids.
Goh and Chloe: Thanks!
Karolina: Our team found the next letter.
Sin Unown: (floats over) Unown.
Adam: Ooh, Sin, great job, you three.
Isies: (smiles and blushes) Thanks.
Brock: Tracey, Cilan, and I found the next letter.
Mem Unown: Unown!
Adam: Wow, a Mem. Wonderful work, boys.
Tracey: No problem.
Misty: And we have the last one.
Chet Unown 3: (floats over) Unown.
Squirtle: (with an accent) That's three! Three Chet Unown! Ah ah ah ah ah!
Gary and Umbreon laughed at Squirtle's voice.
Adam: Well done, kids! Now, let's make that message! Chet! Gimel! Pay! Samech! Chet! Alef! Sin! Mem! And Chet!
Shlomlitian Unown: Unown!
All the Shlomlitian Unown levitated up into the air to form the message.
Adam: It's spelled Khag paskha sameakh. Which means Happy Easter! And it's today!
Sophocles: Whoa!
Ash: We've been in this region for so long, I guess we lost track of the time.
Serena: I guess you're right!
Riolu: (slowly) Easter?
Togepi: Mama? What Easter?
Ash: It's the day when Jesus rose from the dead!
Misty: Ash is right, Togepi.
Molly: (giggles) Easter!
Ash: That's right, Molly.
Adam: Sprigaia?
Sprigaia: Right. Easter baskets for everyone!
Pikalos: While you kids were looking for the Unown, Adam told us to hide Easter eggs all over camp.
Serena: Really? Wow.
Pikalos: Yes, really.
Ash's Charmander: You guys must've been really busy, huh?
Fuego: That's right. Anyway, grab your baskets!
Isies: Oh no…
Delia: Something wrong, dear?
Isies: I don't have a basket big enough for me.
Karolina: Oh, I can take care of that.
With that, Karolina used her magic to make one of the baskets grow big enough for Isies.
Isies: Oh, thanks, Karolina! (picks up the big basket)
Karolina: No problem. (giggles)
David: And I'll help you find some of the eggs for you.
Isies: I'd like that very much.
The young giantess picked up David and gave him a gentle hug.
Adam: Now, are you kids ready?
Before the kids took off, a bright light appeared out of nowhere. It started to take shape and standing in front of the kids was Jesus.
Jesus: Hello, children.
Kids and Pokémon: Hello, Lord.
Serena: Come to wish us a Happy Easter?
Jesus: That is correct, Serena. And I have the perfect Easter Verse for all of you.
Chloe: All of us?
Jesus: Yes, it's from the Book of Matthew Chapter 28 Verses 5 and 6.
Goh: Alright then, let's hear it!
Jesus: In Matthew 28:5-6, it says, "The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."
Ash: That's from when you rose from your grave and the angel rolled the tombstone away. Right?
Jesus: That's right, Ash. And I see some of you have some new Pokémon friends.
Tracey: Oh yeah. I have Smeargle with me.
Smeargle: Hello.
May: And Max and I met Ralts. I figure he'll be a perfect partner for Max when he grows up to be a toddler this year.
Clemont: And Bonnie and I found Dedenne. He'll be a fine partner for Bonnie.
Ralt: Hi.
Dedenne: Hiya!
Pikachu: Hey, little guys.
Fennekin: Yes, welcome to our family.
Henrietta: Very good of you to think of your sister, Clemont.
Jasper: And thoughtful of you to think of your brother, May.
May and Clemont: No problem.
Jesus: Well, enjoy your Easter Egg Hunt. Happy Resurrection Day!
Kids: Happy Resurrection Day!
Adam: Happy Resurrection Day, Jesus!
And with that Jesus was gone.
Adam: Now, are you ready to start the egg hunt?
Kids: We are!
Adam: Good. Ready… Set… Go!
Narrator: Easter, the day when Jesus rose from the dead and defeated Satan's power of death. Now, our little heroes began searching for the Easter Eggs. As the Journey continues.
To Be Continued…
