Summary: Rapunzel must make the final decision to save everything and everyone she loves.
Rapunzel and Gabriella are on a grassy cliff. Only Rapunzel can get through to Arianna. Gabriella thinks.
"Rapunzel, only you can get through to your mom.". Rapunzel smiles.
They go to Arianna, who is curled up crying with Crystal on her shoulder. Rapunzel kneels next to Arianna. Rapunzel touches her face.
"Hey, it's okay." Rapunzel tells her.
"I've failed! I can't do anything! Why don't you just give up on me? Can't see what I've done. Look around you. This is all my fault. I've done terrible things. All this time, I tried so hard to prove that I was more than Gothel and Zan Tiri said I was, but they were right." Arianna vents.
"No, Mom, no.".
"Punzie, I am so sorry.".
Rapunzel, who then had short brown hair and wore a purple dress laced up with pink ribbon stood on the patio. Eugene, who wore a white shirt, green jacket, and brown pants and boots, stood behind her. Arianna slowly approached Rapunzel. Arianna touched Rapunzel's face. She looked at her with tears of joy. She giggled. She practically threw herself on her, embracing her tightly. Frederic hugged them. They knelt. Arianna looked at Eugene and extended her hand to him. He grabbed her hand and she pulled him in. Rapunzel remembers.
"I was thinking about when we first met. When you giggled, it was so remarkable, because I knew you meant it.".
"What do you mean?".
"When you giggled, you had this look in your eyes, I don't know, it was seeing you were authentic. And that's the mom I learned to love.".
"Why are you telling me this?". She saved my life.
"Even when I look at you now, even after all that has happened, I still see that look in your eyes. You're my best friend, Mom. And I will never give up on you. You saved my life!". Arianna looks at her.
"Plus est en Vous. You said it yourself.". She should be proud. Gabriella thinks.
"You should be proud. That was very selfless of you.". Arianna smiles.
"She's right, Crystal. It's time for the fight of our lives." She tells her,
Arianna mounts Fidella, and Rapunzel mounts Maximus. We take off. Gabriella follows on an albino horse, Snow. They race against the backdrop of an orange and pink sunrise. They jump over an arch of gray stone. They arrive at the Snuggly Duckling. They dismount.
Everyone is in the Snuggly Duckling. (Everyone except Zan Tiri, of course.). What would Rapunzel do? Cassandra wonders.
"Okay, spirits are at an all-time low. Think: what would Rapunzel do?". Ruddiger chatters. As much as I hate this, Rapunzel would sing.
"Ooh, got it! Haven't any of you had a problem you just couldn't solve. One would we could sing about! Preferably to a bouncy tune that makes you forget how bad everything... Oh, come on! We can't just give up.". Cassandra lost Corona. Eugene thinks.
"Yeah! If Cassandra can lose an entire kingdom in humiliating defeat and still hold her head up... then so can we.". That was delightful. Cassandra thinks.
"Poor sap has no idea how doomed we are. Doom, I tell you! Hold it together, Edmund." Edmund panics.
"Thank you for the support. Now, come on, there's got to be a way out of this." Cassandra says.
Rapunzel, Arianna, and Gabriella come.
"There is! But, there's only one way out. And that's through it. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This is the biggest challenge this kingdom has ever faced.". Varian tried to give us a big challenge. Eugene thinks.
"No offense, Varian.". He hugs Quririn in his lab. Varian visualizes. "Ehh.".
"Time now to fight
Let's turn our losing streak around"
Rapunzel sings as she extends her hand.
"Rise and unite

Arianna sings as she stands on the table.
"If we're to win
We can't turn back or sneak around"
Rapunzel sings as she slides behind Arianna.

Everyone grabs swords, brown wooden bows with white strings, and brown wooden arrows with red feather tails or black iron pitchforks and runs.
"Quirin, buddy!" Frederic calls as he tosses him a pitchfork. Quirin's eyes glow blue. Zan Tiri has the Mind Trap Stone. Frederic remembers. "Oh, no! I forgot Zan Tiri has the Mind Trap Stone.".
Do we really stand a chance against Zan Tiri? Eugene thinks.
"Rapunzel, do you really think we stand a chance against Zan Tiri?". Catalina turns around.
"Lord Demanitus didn't think so ethier, but he built a machine that trapped her in the Neitherworld for a thousand years." She explains. Let's go there! Rapunzel thinks. I've got a bad feeling about this. Eugene thinks.
"I've got a bad feeling about this.".
Rapunzel, who is holding a torch, Eugene, Cassandra, Lance, Arianna, Demanitus, Varian, Catalina and Kiera are at a gray, snowy tomb with a giant monkey carving on the wall. Why snow? Eugene wonders.
"Snow! Why did it have to be snow?".
Zan Tiri wanders the palace in her demon form. She goes to Arianna's room. I hate Arianna! She thinks. She raises her arms. Black rocks pop up.
She and Kiera climb up the tomb. Catalina visualizes.
"Last one up is a Saporian slug!". Rapunzel starts climbing up. How did she know about this? Lance wonders.
"Your Majesty, how did you know about this place?".
"Being queen of Corona teaches you a lot of Corona secrets. You know the great oak tree in Corona park? It's not an oak. And it's not that great.". Don't give away Corona's secrets. Rapunzel thinks. She gasps. "I've said too much.". Arianna giggles.
"You think you know a tree.".
Quirin was a part of the brotherhood. Eugene remembers. He goes over to Varian.
"Varian, we're buddies, right?" He questions.
"Team Awesome!" Varian replies.
"You know how Adira and Rhino Guy have fallen under the influence of the Mind-Trap?".
"Uh-huh,".
"Wasn't your dad a part of that?". He hugs Quririn. Varian visualizes.
"My dad is fine, Eugene.".
"Okay! Forget I said anything.".
Rapunzel walks up to the wall. I grow but do not live. I need air, but do not breathe. The wall reads. Rapunzel reads it aloud. Lance stands in front of Catalina and Kiera with his fingers by his forehead. A picture of a brown rabbit pops in her head. Catalina visualizes.
"A rabbit!". A fish. Kiera thinks. "A rabbit fish!" They both exclaim. Are they even listening? Eugene wonders.
"Are you even listening?".
"Sorry, we were playing charades. But the answer to the riddle is fire." Lance apologizes.
"Lance,". He's right, Rapunzel thinks.
"No, no, no, he's right, it's fire.". She puts the torch in. The monkey carving lights up. The door opens. A golden machine with bulbs and light blue crystals and red buttons is in a gray room with monkeys.
"See, Gee-Bug?" Rapunzel says. What did she call me? Eugene thinks.
"What?".
"Gee-Bug, it's my new nickname.". That sucks!
"Please no.". Gee-Bug is a keeper! Lance thinks.
"Don't! Gee-Bug is a keeper! C'mon everybody, Gee-Bug doesn't like to wait!".
"Com'on Gee-Bug!" Kiera taunts as she runs in.
"It's nice and warm in here, Gee-Bug!" Catalina taunts as she runs in. Rapunzel goes over a maroon book with a golden lining and a big D in the middle.
Lance goes over to the machine. Lance pushes the button. It explodes. Varian visualizes.
"D-d-d-don't... press that.".
A monkey swings down on a vine.
"Hey! Give that back!" Rapunzel calls. Lance pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine and touches Varian and a monkey. They swap bodies.
"Did you just switch me with a monkey? And if I'm a monkey..." He begins. The monkey puts his finger in his nose. Lance pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine and touches Rapunzel and a monkey swinging on a green vine. They swap bodies. The monkey slams into a tree.
"Ah nuts," She sighs. Lance pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine that touches a monkey and Kiera. They swap bodies.
"Now you're just doing it on purpose." She whines. Lance pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine that touches a monkey walking into the wall and Arianna. They swap bodies.
"Aww! Com'on!" Arianna exclaims.
Lance pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine and touches Varian and a monkey. They swap bodies. Lance pushes the button. A man with tan skin, and a metal eyepatch, dressed in black is hopping around. Arianna pushes the button. A yellow light comes from the machine and touches Demanitus and the man. They swap bodies. We should all just forget about this. Eugene thinks.
"I think we can all agree... that we should never ever speak of this again.". A monkey is on top of Rapunzel's head.
Zan Tiri and Demanitus are in a purple cobblestone chamber.
"This could have gone so differently, Demanitus. But, because of you, I will finally lay waste to your beloved Corona and all who inhabit it." She tells him.
Pascal is riding Owl outside the Snuggly Duckling. They go over to Eugene. Pascal camouflages himself to look like Adira. Then he camouflages himself to look like a man with braided, black hair, tan skin, and bright green eyes, wearing black armor with a golden lining, a cape with a dark red inside, and black gloves with a golden lining, and black boots, Hector. Zan Tiri has the Brotherhood guarding. Eugene thinks.
"Zan Tiri has the Brotherhood standing guard.". We have to fight hard. Rapunzel thinks.
"Then, we'll fight extra hard!".
"Such pluck in the face of adversary! She would certainly make an excellent daughter-in-law one day." Edmund announces. He's thinking out loud. Eugene thinks.
"Dad! You were thinking out loud again.".
"No, I wasn't.". He winks at Rapunzel. Isn't it time for a proposal attempt? She thinks.
"Isn't it time for one of us to stumble through an awkward proposal?".
"Oh yeah, whose turn was it again?". He giggles. "But no matter what happens today, you are still and will always be my dream.".
"And you are mine.".
Varian brings Quirin silver armor.
"I fixed up your old armor, Dad." He tells him. Quirin takes the helmet.
"I thought I'd never have to wear this again. But now that I have to, I am proud to be fighting alongside my son." He replies. Varian smiles.
They arrive at the palace. Catalina is in her werewolf form. Eugene pulls on the door. It's locked. He thinks.
"It's locked.". Catalina smashes it. "It's unlocked.".
Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Arianna, Frederic, Gabriella, Sara, Matthew and Demanitus go in.
They go to the throne room. Zan Tiri is on the throne.
"Hello," She tells them.
"This is over, Zan Tiri!" Rapunzel announces, swiping her arm across her body.
"I was thinking the same thing." Zan Tiri announces. She puts her hands on the ground. A glowing green ghost in the shape of Gothel, a glowing green ghost in the shape of an old woman wearing a dress with double braids, Surgcha, and a a glowing green ghost in the shape of an old man wearing a suit and pants with a shirt underneath, Thromas rise out of the. Arianna and Rapunzel need to leave. Eugene thinks.
"Run, Rapunzel! Run, Arianna!" He exclaims. Arianna and Rapunzel run.
Gothel approaches Gabriella, Cassandra, and Frederic. I want to kill her! Frederic thinks.
"I have a few choice words to say to you.". Gabriella strikes her in the heart with a white rock. She disappears.
Surgcha approaches Sara and Eugene. She waves the brown wooden paintbrush she is holding in front of her. A puff of rainbow sparkles appears. Surgcha disappears.
Thromas approaches Matthew and Demanitus. Matthew reaches into his pocket and pulls out a green shell. He throws it down. A puff of green sparkles appears. Thromas disappears.
Arianna and Rapunzel arrive in the hall. Zan Tiri is there.
"Hello girls," Zan Tiri announces.
The moon goes in front of the sun. Arianna and Rapunzel pant. What's going on? Rapunzel thinks.
"What's going on?".
"The eclipse. Times up, girls." Zan Tiri announces in a sing-song voice. "Just give up while you can.". No, Rapunzel thinks.
"There's something you should know. I'm not big on giving up.".
"I want you to know what it feels like to fall short despite you're best efforts. I want you and the rest of the world to know that I come second to no one.". She makes a light ball. Arianna visualizes.
"I am not holding back!".
"Power of the sun

She sings. Balls of light form from her fingertips. It explodes.
"I can't tell you how disappointing that is to hear. Because if you're not holding back, that means this is the best you could do... And your best is pathetic.". Zan Tiri touches the ground. Black rock dog heads pop up.

"Everything has its weaknesses. And I have a gift for finding it." Zan Tiri announces. Rapunzel lassos her hair around Zan Tiri. Zan Tiri encases her in black rock along with Arianna.
They go to Rapunzel's room. Zan Tiri releases her. "60 SECOND TRUCE!" Rapunzel shouts. Gothel raised her hands, making black rocks come out of the ground.
"Dang! She won't even give us a break for a minute!" Rapunzel tells Arianna.
"Power of the sun

Rapunzel sings. Her dress and eyes are glowing yellow. It forms a dome around them. She takes a piece of hair and wraps it around their ribs. She begins to sing.
"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your powers shine
Make the clock reverse

Heal what has been hurt
Change the fates' design
Save what has been lost

Their ribs stop hurting. "Okay, Zan Tiri, now that you have successfully broken both our ribs and given us time to heal, we can continue." Arianna explains.
"It's over, Zan Tiri." Rapunzel tells her. Zan Tiri looks out the window. The moon is in front of the sun.
"I was kind of thinking the same thing. Tell me something: How does it feel to be in the shadows?" Zan Tiri questions.
Zan Tiri busts throw the wall. Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Arianna, Frederic, Gabriella, Sara, Matthew and Demanitus run out. Zan Tiri picks up Arianna.
"Put her down!" Frederic orders.
"Ya!" Rapunzel orders.
"Okay." Zan Tiri replies. She drops her. Rapunzel hops on Fidella. She rides towards her. She puts her arms out. She catches her.
"For Corona!" Everybody chants. They charge her. She lifts her arms. Black rocks pop up. I'm not cleaning that. Old Lady Crowley thinks.
"Not cleaning that up.".
"Coronians have always been the same: pathetic." Zan Tiri says. She picks up Catalina. Catalina! Kiera thinks.
"Catalina!". Catalina transforms and Zan Tiri drops her. Varian throws a green potion with a triangular shape. It explodes. Zan Tiri touches the ground. Black rock cages cages everybody except the group. Eugene rides towards her on Maximus. She could have transformed into a monkey. He thinks.
"You could have taken the form of a chimp like your buddy but, noo, you just had to be whatever that is.". She grabs him and throws him. Eugene! Rapunzel thinks. She runs over to him.
"At last, Corona dies!" Zan Tiri announces.
"Wither and decay
End this destiny
Break these earthly chains
And set the spirit free

She sings. Everybody except Rapunzel, Arianna, Gabriella, Sara, Matthew and Demanitus pass away. What in Corona? They think.
"What have you done?" Rapunzel questions.
"I'm fulfilling a promise I made to Demanitus long ago.". Arianna climbs on the balcony. She grabs a very big, dirty, yellow history book and smacks her on the back of the head.
"Books! Who knew!" She announces as she jumps down.
"Power of the sun

Rapunzel and Arianna make a ball of sunlight. Gabriella shoots one of her white rocks at it. The ball explodes. "NO! NO! NO!" Zan Tiri cries. She disappears. The black rocks disappear. Rapunzel's hair turns brown and short.
Arianna turns around. Everyone stands. Arianna visualizes.
"I'm bringing everybody back! I didn't fight so hard to lose everybody now.".
"Flower, gleam and glow

A ball of sunlight comes from her hands. She spreads her arms apart. The light extends over everyone. Everyone's skin color returns to normal. They all stand up. Rapunzel and Arianna hug.
Rapunzel, Pascal, and Eugene are in her room. I like the hole. Eugene thinks.
"I'm not going to lie: the massive hole in the wall really does open up the space. Sure it could get chilly in the winter, but that's what blankets are for, am I right?". No, Rapunzel thinks.
"Eh, I think we'll put the walls back up.".
"You're the boss, Sunshine.".
"That's right, Eugitles.". That's a horrible nickname! Eugene thinks. He crings.
Arianna and Crystal come in.
"Look after them, Pascal, something tells me they are going to need it." Arianna tells him as she strokes his chin. She's leaving. Rapunzel realizes.
"Any idea where you're headed?". An image of the earth pops in her head. Arianna visualizes.
"Quite literally everywhere.". She needs to be free. Rapunzel thinks.
"It's funny, this whole time I believed that your place was here in Corona, with me. But as much as I hate to let you go, I know you're right.".
"I love you, Punzie.".
"I love you too, Mom.". They hug. Frederic and Gabriella come. Arianna goes with them.
Rapunzel and Eugene are in a wooden kanone. Yellow lanterns fill the air.
"A lot of stuff has happened since the first time we were out here." Eugene announces.
"Has it?" Rapunzel jokes. "In speaking of us…". She takes out a pink cupcake with a cherry on top. She removes the cherry to reveal a gold ring with silver in the middle.
"Will you marry me, Eugene?".
"Yes!" They kiss.
