#RecipeForDisaster

A plan with a chance of working out, in the game most people call love. Having decided to help Oliver Queen and Dinah Drake in the mission to become a couple, Johnny Young, alongside with his friend, Karen Beecher, took on the mission of bringing the pair together, setting up a date at a restaurant that had many chances to work out. What neither of them knew now was that they were both in the same place, guiding Oliver and Dinah through bluetooth headsets in an attempt to make the date work, but an unexpected element had chances to jeopardize a well worked out plan: The couple Leslie and Jason, who underneath these identities, had something hidden inside them: Together, they were the villainous duo Livewire and Icestreak. A combination with chances to make a plan work in the worst possible way. Looking at Oliver and Dinah, Johnny kept a small smile as he waited to see what would happen, being sure of how well it had a chance of working out.

"Okay, Oliver, you're doing great. Keep talking and praising Dinah."

"You know, it's really nice to see you with a different look. I was left wondering a little bit about things. Favorite kind of movie?" Ollie asked, making Dinah laugh a little at the scene.

"Horror movies. Alongside with some romance and action. And also some other things that I refuse to discuss. It's a little secret. Now you. What's your favorite kind of movie?" Suddenly, Dinah began listening to static on her headset, making the girl nervous about the scene, while Karen kept her cool trying to analyze the scene.

"Don't make a question just like Scream." Karen was trying to keep the plan going, while Johnny could see the nervousness on Johnny's face, until he coughed, drawing the attention of Oliver, who kept his cool.

"Well, a bit of drama and suspense. Some moments may surprise me, but I admit that some movies are worth it in spite of everything." The two seemed to be having a good time, but without realizing it, Leslie and Jason began to analyze the scene, almost with a very unexpected feeling in the face of it all.

"I think we can do our date in a very different way, frosty. Think about it: what can we do differently and guarantee a small chance of solving our problems?" Leslie said, making Jason realize what they were talking about now.

Slowly, Oliver and Dinah's orders began to arrive. On Dinah's side, was a salad, while Oliver had in his hands a plate with only a few pieces of meat and most of it was all lettuce and tomato salad, showing a certain difference in their personalities, but proving how much they had a certain ideal in some points. One of the waiters started to approach Oliver, holding an orange juice, but, taking advantage of the scene, Leslie used her electric powers, throwing a little spark that made the waiter trip, dropping the juice on Oliver's face, leaving Dinah perplexed with the scene.

"One point." Leslie smirked, confident that she could ruin the date between Oliver and Dinah.

"Are you okay?" Dinah asked, until Oliver laughed at the scene.

"I've dealt with worse stuff. Another juice, please!" Facing the situation with optimism, Oliver made it clear that he was not going to give up on the meeting, and with that, he decided to take every opportunity to get some things that might work on his side.

Seeing Leslie and Jason close to him, Johnny decided to take advantage of the scene and, noticing a plate of spaghetti approaching Jason, Johnny used his powers and made the waiter slip, dropping the plate on Jason and wrapping the boy's body with spaghetti, making everyone look at the scene, in shock at what had happened. Slowly, Karen observed Johnny, realizing that he was also in the restaurant and that the scene in question had been caused by him. Both parties didn't know their secret identities, so in an unexpected way, everything had turned into something quite worrying.

"Okay, Oliver. Go ahead and repeat whatever I'll say to you, just in case things go sideways now."

"Dinah, the truth is that I'm not much of a talker about my feelings. People believe this story that I can be very arrogant sometimes, but deep down, I think I'm feeling something for you. This is something else to me. It's quite different in my point of view." Oliver began to speak, surprising the blonde in front of everything, until suddenly, Johnny just watched the scene, completely nervous about what he was witnessing.

"What are you doing, Oliver? You're completely out of character!" However, Johnny could tell that Oliver was being himself, only trying to be the gentleman before the girl he had fallen in love with. - "Keep going."

"The truth is, Ollie, I am a little different because of my personality, but I am trying to prove that I can be someone different when it comes to problem solving. Besides my passion for music, I still have my friends and a lot of things that I'm surprised to get a glimpse of in situations, however, I'm surprised to see that you're not being the king of drama again." Managing to get Oliver to give a small laugh, Dinah smiled back to the boy in front of him, almost with a smile on her face at the feeling of uncertainty in the face of everything.

Seeing Leslie and Jason at a table, Johnny realized at that very moment why part of the date had gone so wrong, making sure that both were returning to their old pranks. Putting it in a very different way, looking at the perspective of the scene, the boy was sure that he would need to contain the duo before Oliver and Dinah's date was ruined. Seeing one of the waiters approaching the table, holding two soda glasses, Johnny used a small fraction of his powers, causing the waiter to trip and knock the soda over Leslie's head, making the girl become all wet on the soda and with that, the boy struggled to hold his laugh, which made Karen perplexed to see another waiter getting in the way. Seeing Jason and Leslie in a date, the girl became worried, until she saw Johnny holding his menu, waiting to see what would happen. With another waiter approaching Johnny, the boy stood in position, hiding his conviction.

"What do you want?"

"Give me a salad, a glass of soda and some steak. I'm already paying for the meal." Holding a $50 bill, Johnny gave it to the waiter, paying for his dinner and with this, he started to look into the scene, confident of the triumph. At the same time, things were getting pretty easy for Oliver and Dinah, with Johnny watching the scene, as was Karen.

Looking to her left, Karen saw Johnny on the table a few meters near her side, keeping up appearances and trying to help the date to go right in every possible way, ready to do everything to accomplish the objective that had been established. This also confirmed to the girl that they both had the same idea, but when she noticed how Johnny looked to the sides, noticing the presence of Leslie and Jason, it was clear that there was still a lot to come. The tension was clear, but however, it was clear that the two sides, neither of them knew about their powers and secret lives, but if it was necessary to sabotage the date between two bullies to make Oliver and Dinah have the perfect date, Johnny was ready to risk everything.

"Okay, Oliver. Let's go to the next part. Make some compliments and demonstrate your understanding of culture. You've already talked about your favorite types of movies, now say your favorite movie. I'm sure Dinah will say the same thing." Analyzing the scene, through the bluetooth headset, Johnny was still willing, guiding Oliver during the date. At the same time, Karen regained her composure, ready to go ahead and assist in the date.

"We've already said what our favorite kinds of movies are. So I guess I'll tell you mine. If there's a favorite movie of mine involving drama and romance, let's just say I love the Titanic movie. How can you not be moved by a romantic story like that movie?" Oliver seemed to have left Dinah in silence, until the girl started to giggle a little, which made Oliver nervous.

"It's also my favorite movie! It really seems we have more in common than we think."

Seeing that everything had chances to work out, Karen and Johnny seemed to be ready to deal with anything and, in the middle of everything, prevent Leslie and Jason from ruining Oliver and Dinah's date, making things much more worrying before everything that was happening now. After a few minutes, going into the janitor room, Johnny started to concentrate his thoughts, taking the opportunity to snap his fingers, creating a cloth, just like the waiters in the restaurant and with this, he took the opportunity to use a fake mustache between his face, showing a certain calm in the middle of the plan and with this, he took the opportunity to grab some trays, going towards the table on which Jason and Leslie were sit on. Slowly, the boy approached the couple, practically maintaining his surprise and appearances.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" Jason said, trying to understand the scene, as Johnny handed over the tray, containing a meat and some noodles, as well as a plate of salad, keeping calm around his body.

"It's just that it's my first day, so I'm trying to be careful. I didn't manage to take everyone's orders in time." Johnny seemed to be playing the role of the clumsy waiter, just to keep control of the plan and make sure that Oliver and Dinah were able to stay together, despite the problems that were arising. - "What's your order?"

"The tray that's in your left hand." Leslie said, ready to accept the plate that was in Johnny's hands.

As he began to slowly place the plate on the table, out of nowhere, his left foot ended up slipping, knocking the tray on Leslie's head, leaving the girl with more anger than the usual to what happened, leaving Johnny perplexed by what had happened in the middle of it all. This was not how his plan was going to happen, in his vision, however, things could get complicated in an unbelievable way. After a few minutes, Oliver and Dinah seem to be enjoying their date in a way that nobody seems to be bothering them, showing the surprise of Leslie and Jason, where nothing seemed to be flowing according to their plans, while on their own date.

After a few minutes, Johnny started to analyze every detail, seeing how the date between Oliver and Dinah was being a success. Looking at the trays near him again, the boy began to stand by a counter, until, out of nowhere, a hand pulled him down, where Karen began to look at Johnny.

"What's going on?" Johnny asked, trying to understand the confusion.

"What's happening it's you. Are you helping Oliver?"

"And you are helping Dinah?" The silence was clear, showing how much they were both in the same situation now. - "I'm disguised as a waiter, because Leslie and Jason are trying to sabotage Oliver and Dinah's date, so I'm giving back in the same coin to see if I can get them out of here."

"You're using dirty tricks just to try to make a future couple to be together and it's getting out of hand!" Karen was trying to make her friend see reason, while things seemed to be quite clear now, however, Johnny looked to his friend again.

"Think about it, Karen: We know very well that those two have great potential to be a couple." He said, remembering Dinah and Oliver, and the date the two of them were having now. - "We are faced with a dilemma where we can't know what's going to happen and I'm ready to play dirty in this whole story if it's necessary to keep a date safe from other people."

Johnny then, stood up, until he realized that Leslie and Jason were standing in front of him, surprising the boy in the middle of everything. Leslie then ripped off the fake mustache from Johnny's face, leaving the boy very worried about the whole scene in the middle of what was happening in this story.

"So it was you all along, Young? You were trying to sabotage our date?" He spoke, mocking the scene, while Johnny looked at Jason, irritated.

"Do you really think I don't know what you've done, Jason? Trying to sabotage another date just for fun? I've had my eye on you for a while now."

"Our day was not one of the best, so we were trying to do something different, for once. Only even that was getting a little boring. Our relationship is something different, ut sometimes, we try and find a deal to make things right for our side. It's just that the way we are, some people can't understand why we are the way we are. Leslie made a point of trying to explain her reasons, believing she could have a date like anyone else, however, Karen approached Johnny. - "Beecher? You're in this too? Why I'm not surprised by this."

"I know you're trying to enjoy this date, even though you're a different kind of couple, but there are some things you just can't understand. Johnny and Karen began to stare at Leslie and Jason, creating an unexpected standoff, which caused Oliver to take his focus off Dinah and look at the scene, concerned.

"Enough." Getting up, he looked at the pairs, keeping his cool. - "I didn't imagine we'd have some problems in the middle of all this, but I think it's time to tell the truth. Dinah, I'm not the kind of person you think I am." Oliver then removed the bluetooth headset from his ears, making Dinah a little nervous. - "The truth is, I've been getting help this whole time, because I wanted to impress you. I am a very different person for some situations, however, I have been trying to prove that I can be a gentleman with girls. My personality is so dramatic that I feel like trying to show how I feel in exaggerated ways, but I feel differently with you. Oliver was really trying to be sincere, which left Leslie and Jason surprised by the scene, as were Johnny and Karen, however, unexpectedly, Dinah removed the bluetooth headset in her ear, looking at the boy and proving that she was doing the same thing.

"I've been doing the same thing too. Trying to be different. The truth is that with my personality, everyone thinks I'm too goth for other people, however, I've been surprised to see your other side besides the drama. The truth is that the help we received to this date, despite the problems that occurred, made us realize something." Dinah approached Oliver, keeping her cool, with the restaurant staff getting emotional. - "The help we received made us able to see another side of ourselves. But if there's one thing I know, it's that I love you, Oliver Queen."

"And I love you too, Dinah Drake."

In a scene worthy of a drama movie, Oliver and Dinah brought their lips close together, deepening a romantic kiss, similar to several movies, which made Johnny start to applaud the scene, as well as everyone else in the place, keeping the surprise around their bodies and showing how excited they were. In an unusual way, Jason started to fall into tears, surprising his girlfriend, perplexed by what had happened.

"It's so beautiful! I can't understand what's happening!" Leslie just looked at Jason, a little annoyed, yet thrilled at the same time to see this scene. After a few seconds, the two of them walked away, keeping their cool.

"It seems we still have some things to discover about ourselves. However, seeing this other side of you, Dinah, has me a little intrigued."

"Dramatic, but at the same time, authentic. I think I can get used to it." Johnny then moved closer to Jason, keeping all calm around his body.

"Can we declare a truce? At least, to not interfere in another one's date again." Jason seemed to have been a little confused, until he gave a smile, looking at Johnny and shook one of his hands.

"Well, we had a truce before and I think we can declare another one on the subject of romance. It's only fair that we work some things out between us, isn't it?"

"Agreed." Karen then looked at Leslie, concerned that she was facing a very uncomfortable situation.

"Look, Beecher, it even sounds like a lie, but even you deserve a break." Silently, Karen just gave a little smile, almost as if she was happy in the midst of all that had happened.

Leaving the restaurant, Oliver and Dinah started looking at each other, a little more surprised than usual, as Leslie and Jason left the restaurant, a little surprised. However, Johnny and Karen still remained shocked that the plan had worked. The next day, at the school, everyone in the halls began to see Oliver and Dinah holding hands, symbolizing that they had become a couple while Renée and Helena just stood smiling in the middle of it all.

"They're singing a special song for this one." Helena said, until she saw Johnny and Karen approaching the pair, with a smile on their faces.

"It looks like you guys' plan really worked out."

"In part, that was it. But it was the fact that they decided to be honest with each other that allowed this union, Renée. So we can say that a couple got together, despite the problems that came." Johnny talked, becoming optimistic on account of everything. - "There was one sabotage after another, but..."

"When he talks about sabotage, he is talking about Leslie and Jason. Because of all this, Johnny even managed another truce with Jason. This time, limited to not trying to sabotage each other."

"You put too much faith in that rival of yours, despite the pranks he used to pull in your old school. Will you tell me why?" Helena asked, trying to understand Johnny at times, but the boy just gave a smile, feeling something different around his body.

"It's because despite everything, Jason seems to have a sense of some things. He's more different than imagined in Coast City, but I'm staying tuned."

"You know what that made me realize?" Renée began to speak, drawing the group's attention as she gave a little smile, confident with what she had planned. - You two have the gift to join couples, almost like matchmakers. You should make it a business to help people by giving love advice and trying to encourage them to say what they really feel!" Karen then kept doubt around her body, surprised at Renée's suggestion.

"Oh, no! This was a one-time job! I don't think it would-" Before she could answer, Johnny began to smile, leaving Karen confused. - "Don't tell me you're actually thinking of taking that idea."

"It would kind of be a good idea. After all, the two of us make a good duo when it comes to helping people."

"After the mess we had, I need a break from stories involving couples." Karen started to walk away, which caused Johnny to follow the girl, as did Renée and Helena.

"Think about the name of the enterprise: Beecher and Young, helping future couples to be together in difficult times." Johnny spoke, somewhat optimistically.

"I need a break."

"But you will take credit, your name will appear first, and it will imply that I am your helper, Karen. After all, you are far more expert in romance than I am."

"No!"

"Love Unlimited is a good name for a couples' help partnership."

"Not now!" Johnny stood his ground, however, Renée and Helena just started giggling, noticing the direction the conversation was going in light of everything that was happening.

"My Fair Love is a good idea to base a partnership on. It gives the impression that we are more sophisticated."

"After all this mess, you can't understand how much all this has happened. We let people be themselves, but above that, being careful about some things." Karen spoke, recalling the last mess that had ensued before the meeting between Oliver and Dinah, yet things seemed to be turning into something much bigger before them.

"Wait a moment, Karen. It doesn't have to be now, it's an idea more for the future, I'm just thinking about how we can help people."

"When is he going to stop that?" Renée began to speak, giving a small laugh.

"Not so soon. But this could be useful in helping me with some of my problems, Renée." At this, Johnny gave another laugh, noting how something could turn into one situation after another, which caught Karen's attention.

"What's funny?"

"Maybe I'm overdoing it, but at least the idea is good. You might give it some thought, Karen." The girl just giggled, hinting that the idea was in her mind still.

A very confusing night had passed and now, thanks to the help of Johnny and Karen, Oliver Queen and Dinah Drake were finally together. Amidst so many problems, one of them had been solved. There was still much more to come in the personal lives of the heroines protecting Metropolis, but above all, they were ready to put into practice the solution to some of their personal dilemmas, no matter what. But whatever the future held, the Super Hero Girls stood ready to deal with the unexpected.
