The Power Rangers are known as heroes for protecting the city from monsters, but that's all they are known for. They usually leave local crimes to the police, but sometimes a person must use the powers they have to help people when they needed it. They just need to remember to keep things in moderation.
"Come on, Zeke! You're too slow!" Tristan called as he and Zeke went for a jog through the area.
"Give me a minute! I'll catch you!" Zeke called, but was having trouble keeping up with Tristan and Tristan was only getting further and further ahead. "Eventually..." Zeke couldn't really keep going and just had to stop. Zeke took a moment to try and catch his breath, but that was when trouble started. He heard the sound of an alarm.
"Get back! Get back!" Zeke looked behind him and saw robbers with bags of money trying to make a run for it with the police chasing after them. It looked like they were going to getaway as their escape vehicle was pulling up. Zeke felt like he had to do something and there was no time to think.
"Hurry! Get in!" The two crooks jumped in with the driver about to take off, but he didn't go anywhere. "What the heck?! It won't go!"
"Get out here!" Zeke said as he grabbed the driver and pulled him out. Zeke actually morphed into the Green Ranger and was taking on actual robbers since he used his claws to tear the tires. "I believe you guys have something that aren't yours." The other robbers tried running for it, but that was when the police caught up and prevented them from going anywhere. "Here you go." He said as he threw the robber towards the police. A ranger actually helping the police like that was certainly a sight to behold as many were getting pictures and cheered for him. The only one who wasn't pleased was Tristan as he showed up and was shocked at what happened.

"You are out of your mind! You shouldn't have morphed and just left that to the police!" Tristan said as the two of them were talking about what happened.
"I had to do something. Besides, it wasn't that bad." Zeke said. "As long as your old man doesn't know, everything should be fine." He thought things were fine until they walked into the main control room and saw everyone, except Damien, there and didn't looked pleased.
"I think they know." Tristan said.
"Zeke, care to explain this?" Michael asked as he showed an article posted about the Green Ranger.
"Green Gone Solo?" Zeke said. "While the Power Rangers have performed tremendous deeds together, this is the first time we have seen one act independently and stopped a set of local thieves. Could this be a sign that the Power Rangers are breaking apart?"
"Zeke, what were you thinking?" Sally asked. "You know you can't use your ranger powers for something like this? This isn't what they were designed for."
"She's right. You don't use our powers on fellow humans. EVER!" Michael said.
"I know, but they were robbers who stole a whole bunch of money." Zeke said. "The police would have had a difficult time catching them if I hadn't done something. Look, all I did was just help. Was that really a bad thing?"
"Well... No... Still, you shouldn't have morphed. There had to have been some other way to help." Clare said as they were all able to see what Zeke was doing, but that doesn't mean they agree.
"Whoa... Check this out." Brandon said as he saw something on his phone. "I was checking the popularity polls and it looks like Green Ranger's just went up big time."
"Really?" Zeke said as he took a look and was starting to like it. "I'm the most popular? That's usually Damien or Tristan. So far, I'm not seeing a downside to this."
"Don't get a big head over this." Tristan said as he was already getting annoyed with this and the others could see where this was going.
"Hey!" Damien called as he came running in.
"There you are. Where were you?" Clare asked.
"Sorry, but I was helping out Kathy at the homeless shelter." Damien said.
"You were with Kathy again?" Clare said. While she did think it was good Damien was helping people, she didn't like Damien appeared to be spending a lot of time with Kathy.
"Yeah. What's going..." Damien wanted to know what he missed, but he could see things were tense between Tristan and Zeke. "Is this a bad time? I'm getting the feeling I should get out of here."
"Good idea." Hallie said as they were all trying to break the tension. "Let's hit the park and just have a relaxing day. Sounds like things already got exciting enough." They're all hoping Zeke keeps things in perspective, but it might not look that way.

The Dark Realm
"Skelderon, again and again you have failed me." Drevis said as he wasn't pleased with the latest results. "Those rangers are only getting stronger and you haven't done anything to have stopped them. You've been given a second chance and you have blown it."
"We are doing all that we can." Skelderon said. "The rangers might be strong, but we just need to find one monster who will get the better of them."
"See to it that you do." Drevis said and just vanished. Drevis has grown tired of all the failures, but Skelderon still thinks he can turn things around in his favor.
"Seems like your father isn't that pleased with you." Persepha said as she came over. "Luckily, I had Jinsin bring about one of Lecar's monsters that might be able to help."
"That would be me!" A new monster that was like the goggle-eye doju made of metal with a mirror right in the center with blades coming out of the shoulders and sides of the head. "Refracter is here. I can see to it that the rangers are never a bother again."
"Yes... I remember your abilities. Perhaps you really can be of some help." Skelderon said as he liked this. "Go on down to Bluefin Hills and take care of those rangers." Refracter did what he was told and was on his way out. "Nicely done."
"Think of it as part of a deal. I need something from you." Persepha said as the two of them got to talking about something else.
...
The Park
The rangers decided to hit the park, where there were a ton of people around. They were hoping to get Zeke to forget about his recent popularity so he doesn't let it go to his head. It didn't seem to be that way with how he kept looking at his phone and kept checking out everything of the Green Ranger.
"Look at him on that thing." Tristan said as he was annoyed. "This isn't working. The whole thing is going to his head."
"Careful, Tristan. You sound like you're green with envy." Damien joked, but Tristan was in no mood.
"I'm not jealous, but I can see where this is heading." Tristan said.
"Tristan is right." Hallie said. "This is all kinds of bad. Zeke might have done a good thing, but I don't think it was the right way to handle it."
"Well, let's distract him. Hey, Zeke!" Damien called and got his attention. "Check this out!" He started riding on his board and pulled off some nice moves.
"Cool!" Zeke said as it looked like it worked. "Hey! Maybe I should start doing some fancy tricks to boost my ratings. I've got to strike while the iron is still hot." This wasn't going the way they all wanted and were worried on Zeke might try. Just then, Refacter and some owlets appeared and caused the crowd to run scared.
"Rangers! Come out, come out wherever you are!" Refracter called.
"Too many people around to morph." Clare pointed out the problem.
"Spread out to morph!" Damien suggested as they all hurried off to find safe places to morph.
"This is sure to get their attention." Refracter claimed as he unleashed rays from his eyes and was causing some damage. That was right when Tristan came in and kicked Refracter right in the back.
"Looking for us?" Tristan said as they all gathered together.
"Indeed I was." Refracter said. "It's time to eliminate you rangers from Master Skelderon's way. Attack!" He ordered the owlets to attack with each of the rangers fighting them off.
"I'll get him!" Zeke said as he went right at Refracter. Zeke kept attacking him and forced Refracter to to move back, but he soon grabbed Zeke by the arm and threw him over his shoulder. Zeke hit the ground, but he was able to bounce right back up. However, seeing Green Ranger in action drew a crowd as they all wanted to see him in action. Refracter fired beams from his eyes again, but Zeke kept jumping back and avoided all of the attacks. "That all you got?"
"Not even close." Refracter said.
"You're not dealing with just one ranger!" Tristan said as he moved through the owlets and tried attacking him, but Refracter moved aside and blasted Tristan right in the back.
"Light out, White Ranger!" Refracter claimed. He tried attacking again, but Zeke stepped in the way as he used his club to deflect each of his attacks. He then took his blaster and was able to shoot Refracter right in the chest and knocked him down. The crowd cheered for him as they all pushed Tristan out of the way and praised Zeke for being a hero, and Zeke was loving it while Tristan hated it.
"Hey! You people need to get out of here! It's not safe!" Tristan said, but they all ignored him.
"I'm still here!" Refracter said as he got back up. He looked around at the rangers and looked towards the others to see Brandon and Clare had their backs turned to him. "Perfect!" He then formed two crescents in his hands and was getting ready to throw them. "Blue and Yellow!" He called and got their attention. "Catch!" He threw both the crescents at them. Both of them were hit and caused Brandon and Clare to get trapped in a mirror.
"Oh no!" Damien said. The owlets grabbed the mirrors and handed them over to Refracter.
"Two down. Lovely mirrors, wouldn't you say?" Refract said. "I think I should get while the getting is good." He claimed as he and the owlets disappeared with him taking Brandon and Clare with him.
"No! They're gone!" Hallie complained.
"Smooth move!" Tristan said as he shoved Zeke. "Since you were busy with your little fan club, he took our friends! You should have tried to finish him!"
"You're blaming me just because I'm popular now?!" Zeke argued.
"Forget it. Let's just get out of here and come up with a plan." Damien said as they all got out of there. The rangers are divided and now two of them have been captured. This isn't looking good for them at all.
...
Battle Service
The remaining rangers retreated back to Bluefin Battle Service, but Captain Burner was not happy. The internet is already booming with how it looks like the rangers are divided with people catching the moment Tristan and Zeke were arguing.
"Not only have two of our rangers have been captured, but now people are thinking the rangers are divided simply because Green Ranger is in the limelight!" Michael lectured. "This kind of behavior is unacceptable! Do I need to remind you that the rangers are a team and cannot look divided! You must be a united front or else the enemy will take advantage of that!"
"It's all Zeke's fault!" Tristan said.
"I can't help it that the people love me now...or that you're jealous." Zeke said.
"How can I be jealous of someone so obnoxious?" Tristan said with annoyance.
"With this behavior. If you don't care, why are you acting out like this?" Zeke said.
"Enough!" Damien called. "Zeke, you ARE letting all of this get to you! You're getting a big head because of this!"
"He's right. We're a team. Zeke. Don't make it about you." Hallie said. "Right now, we need to figure out a way to save Brandon and Clare." Zeke seems to have trouble remembering what a ranger is really about, but he's soon going to have a chance to remember as they heard the alarm go off.
"The monster is back. It's in the factory district." Sally said.
"Go, and remember what is really important." Michael said with the four of them hurrying out.
...
Refracter
Refracter made a return and was attacking people as he either trapped them in mirrors or just attacked them. All of the workers ran in fear as he made his way, but the four remaining rangers ran out and stood in his way.
"I see you came back. Came to save your friends?" Refracter taunted as he held up the mirrors that held their trapped friends. "It's upsetting isn't it? You're all so close, but yet so far."
"As long as we're close enough to pummel you, that's all that matters." Tristan said.
"Step aside and let me show you how it's really done." Zeke said as he tried standing up front and got the two of them to start fighting.
"Guys! Just focus on taking this creep down!" Damien said as he and Hallie hope they can pull this off with how things are. "Let's do it!"
"Nature Power! Ranger Power!" All of the morphed, despite Zeke and Tristan still fighting. Once all of them morphed, they readied themselves for battle. Zeke, Damien, and Hallie pulled out their blasters and tried blasting him, but he jumped in the air.
"I got him!" Tristan said as he pulled out his saber and jumped in the air to try and attack him. He tried, but Refracter grabbed his arm and threw him to the side with them landing down.
"I'll get him!" Zeke called as he charged with his claws and tried attacking him, but Refracter kept out of his reach. Refract then blasted Zeke and sent him flying into some barrels.
"Smooth move, hero! Let me show you how it's done!" Tristan said as he charged at Refracter, but Refracter swerved around him and knocked Tristan near Zeke.
"Smooth move." Zeke insulted.
"You think you're something big just because you did one thing out of the ordinary?" Tristan said. "Any of us could have done what you did."
"Maybe you should be wearing green since you're clearly envious." Zeke mocked.
"Guys! Not now!" Hallie said.
"We've got to work together or... Oh no!" Damien said as he saw some trouble coming. Refracter was about to capture both of them while they were distracted by fighting. Damien and Hallie acted fast as they both pushed them out of the way as Refracter threw his crescents and caught Damien and Hallie instead.
"No!" Tristan called.
"Yes!" Refracter said as the mirrors came to him. "With this, I just need two more to complete my collection."
"No... He caught the others..." Zeke said as he was starting to see how serious this was. "This is crazy. We're a team. Why are we fighting? We've got to work together. Tristan, I'm sorry. I did one good thing and the benefits that came with it completely went to my head."
"I'm sorry, too. Maybe I was a bit jealous." Tristan said. "Either way, we've got to stick together. Especially since we're the only ones left that can stop him."
"It won't matter once you're both my prisoners just like your friends!" Refracter said as he made an attempt to capture them, but Zeke acted fast as he took his claws and was able to deflect the attacks. "What?!"
"Tristan, stay behind me!" Zeke said. "My weapons can deflect his attacks. We'll charge at him together, and you can finish him when we get close enough."
"Got it." Tristan said as he got right behind Zeke.
"You think you can stop me?! Think again!" Refracter said as he launched a series of attacks at them, but both rangers charged right in as Zeke used his claws and was able to deflect each of the attacks and the two of them kept going. When they were close enough, Tristan jumped right over and powered his saber. Tristan gave it one powerful strike and pierced right through Refracter with it resulting in Refracter's destruction. Once Refracter was destroyed, everyone who was trapped in a mirror was released.
"Guys!" Zeke called as the rangers regrouped.
"Are you all okay?" Tristan asked.
"I think so." Brandon claimed.
"What happened?" Clare said.
"We just simply became heroes." Zeke said as he and Tristan fist bumped.
...
Jinsin
"You haven't won quite yet, rangers. You still need to reflect on your actions. Grow!" Jinsin called as he unleashed his magic.
...
Bluefin Hills
Jinsin's magic reached where Refracter fell. It revived him and caused him to grow into a giant. Now was the best time for the rangers to come together for this fight.
"Mom! Send in the zords!" Tristan called. Their zords were deployed with them forming the Pegasus Megazord and the Grand E Megazord.
"Time to prove that bigger is better!" Refracter said as he was ready to take on both of them. The Grand E Megazord was the first to charged right at him and charged, but Refracter had something ready for them. He used the mirror on his chest and created a prison of mirrors around the megazord and kept them trapped.
"Did you forget about me?" Tristan said as he flew up and dived down from above with him smashing the megazord's foot right against Refracter and it actually broke his mirror.
"No! Not my mirror!" Refracter screamed. With his mirror destroyed, it freed the other rangers from the prison.
"Gaia Cannon! Fire!" The Grand E Megazord used it's finishing attack as it unleashed a powerful blast from its cannon and blasted Refracter. It caused his destruction once again as he called in agony with him destroyed. That proves that the rangers are stronger when they work together.
...
Spin and Shake It
Another successful battle has earned the rangers a sweet prize. That's what Tristan was thinking as he was waiting for his order. While he was waiting, Zeke came over with some good news.
"Check it out." Zeke said as he showed a new article about all the rangers. No special calling to one over the others. "Rangers still unified. By working together, the rangers saved the day once again."
"That's how it should be." Tristan said.
"Yeah... I'm really sorry about before. I guess I did get a little carried away." Zeke said. "It just... It just felt good being the center of attention. I don't feel like I really standout compared to the rest of you."
"Don't talk crazy." Tristan said. "No ranger is more important than the other. In fact, I even ordered a little something for you as a peaceoffering." That sounded good to Zeke as Tristan's order came over and Tristan handed the milkshake to Zeke. Zeke gladly took it and drank the milkshake, but he soon felt disgusted.
"What is this?!" Zeke questioned.
"Lime since you like being in the limelight." Tristan joked. Zeke certainly deserved that one. Even so, the rangers are still together as they know none is more special or important than the other. With what's coming, they'll have to stick together.
